Tres Iron Lotus Siege [War Meeting] Giphy

"It's disgusting" Murcíelago walked down the narrow hallway of one of the many buildings of the Marineford naval base. Along with the echo of his boots in the hallway, the light tap of Knox' sandals accompanied them. "I agree, but that's just how the world is. What you're doing is just going to keep the cycle flowing. It's like reincarnation in a sense." Knox always had some spiritual banter to offer to the dialogue and while Murcíelago wasn't one to shut her down often, today he hadn't time for her hysterics. "Please lets not get technical with where souls go after death right now." The world as of late had been scarred with chaos due to the actions of childish beings who called themselves Pirates and Revolutionaries and as a newly appointed Vice Admiral, Murcíelago had a large load to shoulder to prove he was worth his salt.

Knox gave a shrug and head shake at the Vice Admiral's dismissive attitude and figured she wouldn't press any further on the matter. This was because it was very true with how the world was in turmoil. Not only was the Vice Admiral just given the reigns on the whole Tres Iron Lotus ordeal, but there was also the problem with the Celestial Dragons that he had to deal with in his "spare" time. "So who did you request to attend this meeting?" Murcíelago appreciated that Knox was back on track with the matter at hand, but had some people on his roster that disheartened him. "Various people from many backgrounds. Notably Admiral Angelo and sadly one of the Seven Warlords." At this Knox rose a brow and gave a look of slight astonishment to Murcíelago. "That's very unlike you to welcome a sinner into your ranks." He sighed at her words, but kept his stern expression as his hawk like eyes remained trained forward to the end of the corridor.

"He's in the same boat I am apparently. The World Government doesn't completely trust him yet, so he's been involuntarily added to my roster to prove that he actually deserves a seat as one of the Seven." Knox nodded softly, a smirk on her face as she knew how annoyed the Vice Admiral was with working alongside anyone even remotely "tainted". "I think it'll be good for you to expose yourself to people from the other side of the tracks." Murcíelago said nothing to Knox as he wasn't interested in talking about such things. Additionally the door to the meeting room was drawing near and the Vice Admiral's mind was on this exchange that was about to take place between him and others that would potentially be on his roster for the campaign.

Reaching her arm out, Knox opened the door for the Vice Admiral who was dressed in his usual garbs. His white admiral coat draped over his shoulders caught up to his fram and stopped sailing behind him as he paused after taking a few steps into the room. His audience would be in front of him, in a perfect world they'd already be seated at the long table that was elongated stretching out straight ahead of him for multiple meters. This would allow for all of those who were significant to sit at the table and have a no seats empty for any plus ones that might have been tagging along with the guest. Though he wouldn't be the highest ranking Marine in attendance if Admiral Angelo had blessed the conference with her chilling presence, Murcíelago's seat was at the head of the table and the seat that was closest to him. Knox would step forward beside him, also taking a moment to glance over the faces that had come to attend the meeting and taking note of who was here. Only Navy officials who held ranks, their right hands, of course the shameful Nico Moretti, and his possible plus one would have been permitted into the room. It was worth noting only those with invitations were permitted to sit at the table though, for these were people of importance and who Murcíelago would truly be speaking to. Behind the Vice Admiral on both sides of the door he had entered were Marine Lieutenants under his command. They were both at least a meter from the doorway on each of their respective sides so they weren't in the way, but it was worth noting one held Murcíelago's halberd securely in his hands and the other held his sword. The Vice Admiral's well known gauntlets were on his hands as they always were.

Before taking another step forward, the Vice Admiral would give a nod of approval giving the lower ranking Marines in attendance permission to drop their salutes. This also signaled Knox to take her seat which was beside Murcíelago's own, but on the longer side of the rectangle table as opposed to the shorter side where Murcíelago's chair was. Adjacent to Knox would be Murcíelago's navigator, Nico Porter. He was another well trusted member of the Vice Admiral's unit.

Grabbing the chair by the top of the back rest, the Vice Admiral pulled his chair out and took a seat, but didn't bother scooting in to the table. He much preferred the space between him and the surface in case he needed to react to any of the wretched pirates in attendance or anyone for that matter. That said he was on high alert as he almost always was. Despite not scooting in the table was still within reach though, as he may need to grab the documents on the table that were in front of him in case he needed to access to information in them to clarify anything he may need to.

"First I'd like to thank you all for attending this conference whether you decide to act in the campaign or not." His voice would be loud and clear allowing all those in the modest, yet realistic, sized room to hear him without him actually shouting. Though he didn't scoot in to the table, he sat comfortably in his seat and used his hands in an effective manner while he spoke. "Second, with the exception of one party in attendance, said party being aware of their circumstances-" Only an idiot wouldn't know this was addressed to the Shichibukai, but worded in such a way because it was protocol. "-opting to not partake in this campaign will not have long lasting effects on your advancement in the naval ranks." He'd take a small moment to let the words sink before continuing on. He already had eyed down a few Rear Admirals he knew wouldn't be contributing to the effort when they knew what it was. They were frail and spineless little things that Murcíelago despised. However had to remind himself that even God designed them with a purpose. Even if that purpose was just to make those with real grit that much more admirable. "If no one has any questions pertaining to the conference thus far, I'd like to get on to the actual content of the campaign." Knox smiled softly while the Vice Admiral spoke and her eyes scrolled about the room looking at the guest. Nico Porter, the navigator would have been probably ogling at the craftsmanship and artistry put into the meeting room.

Other than Murcíelago's unit and perhaps the Admiral, no one would have any idea what they were in for. It was heavy stuff and a deadly campaign, but those who left with their tails between their legs in the conference room instead of at least on the battlefield itself would be branded cowards in the Vice Admiral's eyes.

Marines

Asher Kringle
Cobain was just strolling around Marineford today as he personally didn't have much of an agenda of things he wanted to get done lately. Personally he was interested in the prospect of detaining one Asher Kringle but that was for his own agenda and nothing more. An invitation arrived for Cobain recently that had placed him on course for a meeting with his fellow marines and that usually meant something was in the works. Invitations weren't sent out when it was progress reports no. It was for something big, either Asher Kringle resurfaced or someone was finally making a move that the marines should be informed on. Hopefully it was someone of great importance instead of one of those childish Supernova or the always nefarious Shichibukai. This meeting was one Cobain didn't want to make but the scolding he would get from Angelo wasn't worth the hassle which meant the lanky male would show up. Down the hall he walked which would take him into the room the meeting would be held. One of the guards would open the door while saluting Cobain who simply ignored it. It wasn't because he had a qualm with the marines no, it was because he was simply too tired to respond.

Once in the room the shrouded eyes of Cobain poked from underneath the cobalt hair gazing at those in attendance to see if there was anyone of great importance here. He noticed the chair at the head was empty which meant the person heading this meeting would come soon, that person being Vice Admiral Murcíelago. Cobain had heard stories of the man but the two have sadly never met. Taking a seat on the right side of the table towards the middle Cobain would place his right leg against the edge of the table and stretch out his left leg making himself as comfortable as possible. A short while later a man walked in who looked very serious. He would take his seat at the helm of the table and that was when Cobain figured that this man was probably Murcíelago. He would start to speak and he obviously wanted to jump right into the nitty gritty of subject matter which didn't bother Cobain at all, the faster he could ignore what this man had to say the faster he could get back to his daily hunt for relaxation. Turning his head ever so slightly towards Murcíelago as he spoke Cobain's cold blue eyes pierced through his cobalt hair.

'Was I supposed to just pick him up and leave? Or do I get to stay for whatever this is?' Stede would think to himself as he stood outside of the building to this little whatever. He had arrived not that long ago on a Boat from Impel Down, as he was sent to pick up another Shichibukai. Or someone that potentially could be one, Stede wasn't sure at all. He was told much about the whole thing other than he needed to go and pick him up, which he didn't mind. Stede never had been to Impel Down or even seen it, so he wanted to do that at least once. And honestly the place wasn't that big, no wonder his Mentor was able to break out of it. He gets that there are lower levels that go into the Ocean, but still. It would've been cooler, in Stede's opinion, if that made it larger on top as well.

Looking behind himself he would notice that the others weren't in view yet. He had left everyone it would seem. He did rush off once they had docked as he didn't like using the bathrooms the Marines had on their vessels, as they didn't reach his standers. The didn't care when it came to lots of things on their ships, unless it belonged to someone of importance. And still it wouldn't be near the beauty of a ship designed and created by Stede.

Marines thought they were so high and mighty because they claimed to be doing the right thing, like they were good sent. They weren't in Stede's eyes and people those types that thought like that were on his bad people list. But that isn't something to talk about right now. Stede would sit on the ground as he waited and pull out a notebook from his backpack, and a pencil. He would then begin to write down some things about a Ship idea, as that just gave him a idea. A ship from the heavens that true could bring down true unrivaled Justice.

This Shichibukai that was supposed to be in attendance wasn't yet there which was a bit unnerving, But the Vice Admiral wouldn't let the absence of the criminal throw him off tempo. An all Marine meeting was nice. It was sad Admiral Di Angelo wasn't present either, but somethings couldn't be helped. While Murcielago never met the man formally, it seemed another Vice Admiral had decided to respond to his call for arms. This man was Vice Admiral Cobain.

"Well then." Murcielago stood out his seat, he was never one for sitting down the whole time he spoke to people in this type of setting. He wanted all their attention on him and he'd subconsciously call for that with his bodily actions as he spoke. From simply standing he began to walk to the left of the table, causing those focused on him to actually shift their eyes and follow his fram as he walked at a casual pace. Should their eyes be on him, his movement enticing them to do so, they'd be more inclined to listen as opposed to him just sitting in his chair the whole time. "I've called you all and a few others in today to speak on the matter of Tres Iron Lotus." He'd pause for a moment and let each individual's brain think of what they knew about the state of Tres Iron Lotus and who currently reigned over it. "It's common knowledge we lost it to the Yonko Junbei Von Echo, but with the loss of the Holy City as well, the World Government feels the need to regain one of these hubs of power. Tres Iron Lotus being an important resource that'd actually be able to assist us in reclaiming the Holy City down the line should that be within the World Government's interest." He'd nearly reach one end of the room, before turning and walking to the other end still at his steady pace. "Nonetheless, this is a call to arms to help reclaim the territory as the World Governments. Not an extermination of the Yonko Junbei Von Echo and the Songbird Pirates, but should they put up resistance killing or capturing them is not an issue. But our main goal here is to purge them from the island and get it back in World Government hands."

He'd stop his pacing and face his audience which would bring a slight change in tension to the meeting as his avian like eyes gave an authoritative scan of the room. All eyes were on him (ignoring PCs) save for Knox' and the door guards who remained invested in their duties. Knox was also surfing the room with her gaze, albeit it was softer and more curious than Murcielago's. "It's a very dangerous task, but it will be easier to achieve if we have more people on our roster. Cowardice will only make it harder for those who have the meddle to stand to this trial ahead of us." He'd give a light nod after he said his piece and let those present chat amongst themselves and make their decision. In the meantime the Vice Admiral would sit back down in his seat and reach for the papers that were in front of him. "That was quite the pep talk. The walking thing was nice, really kept me engaged." The Vice Admiral's eyes alone looked up from the folder of papers in front of him to Nico Porter who was speaking to him. While it looked like a cold expression, it wasn't intended to be received that way and his Navigator was well aware of that. "I've seen Admirals do it time and time again. Admiral (Howard D.) Saint was notorious for it, but needless to say he had less tension in the room with how he commanded the floor." Knox chuckled and averted her attention from two Rear Admirals who were franticly babbling to the Vice Admiral and Nico Porter. "You're not scared Nico?" She gave him a teasing look to which his eyes flickered away from to empty space over to the side.

"You'll be on the ship the whole time, shouldn't be much for you to be scared of. We'll have someone capable staying back in case reinforcements or something come anyhow." Murcielago's eyes were back on his folder of papers that he was shuffling through until he found the roster sheet which was blank save for his lone signature. With a sigh he took it out the folder, closed it, then grabbed the pen that was already ont he table and stood back up.

Tres Iron Lotus Siege [War Meeting] Tumblr12How did a lowly ensign get involved in such a high stakes mission, the answer? well she didn't. Having recieved a request to go to marineford and document a meeting, essentially being used as a scribe to write down the exchanges and the who said what, a standard precaution in most councils so that blame is written. In such official meetings it was standard to have someone, generally a lower ranked officer to sit in. Her previous rank, Admiral of the marines those many years ago had assured the higher officers and even the gorosei themselves that she would not let them down, it was also a way to keep her out of mischief, having such an old marine on the front lines would in most scenarios hinder any plans. Especially if that marine was a hobbling old woman whom seemed well passed her prime. Yet she would show these young whiper snappers a thing or two, her body may have aged poorly, her mind remained as fresh as ever. This did not of course halt her from being late. Dressed in the usual female attire for an ensign, her notepad and pens kept within her spare hand while the other was used to push the large stick she bore in to the ground. Shuffling steps would take her slowly to the building the meeting was taking place.

As she approached the building, a male would be sat upon the ground, sketching or writing something down. This man was not dressed within marine garbs yet the appearance of him would not bring suspicion. He was indeed a dog of the military in some ways, being a pirate whose employment was on marine terms, saving him and his crew from being hunted by those of the higher powers. A Shichibukai by the name of Stede Bonnet, the black Ceaser or some ridiculous ephitat. She in her prime had been known as the Paintress due to her painting abilities, the hypnotic powers she possessed where legendary in her time as an admiral, as where her skills as a navigator, having been known as a witch to many a pirate for her ability to command the storms above. Now her powers had wained with age and retirement. She was far weaker than she had ever been, even in the beginning of her younger days, her older, frailer body could no longer command the strength she once had. Physical capabilities hindered her once monsterous power. Her mind though fresh struggled to retain formulas for her weather powers to be utilized, and now as an ensign she would attempt to regain her status once more, at least until she could avenge her family. How silly and old woman bent all out of place for revenge.

Alas she would finally make it to the door, "What a cute little guard, wouldn't a puppy like you be better inside" she said, yet she would not stop moving, pushing the door forward as she waved for the Shichibukai to follow, whether he did not or not was his choice. The Paintress on the other hand kept moving, she was already ten minutes late but she put that down to her age. Shuffling on, the odd strands of grey hair bouncing in front of her face, the large bun unmoving. Finally arriving at the door in which the meeting was taking place. She did not knock, but instead pushed the door open, many a people had already taken a seat. Though it seemed that she had made it in time as the main speaker had only now began to speak, catching the island name as she opened the door.

"Well now, isn't this lucky, my old bones got me here in the nick of time" the old granny chuckled, yet she had no apology, instead she continued to grin as she shuffled up to the nearest seat and rested upon it taking in a deep breath. "Don't get old you young whipper snappers, its not pleasant" she said again with a chuckle as she rested her stick upon the table before flipping her notepad open and removing the cap from one of the pens. "OH don't mind me" she said, giving a toothy grin as she noticed many of the younger marines staring at her. "I'm just here for official documentation" she said as she put her pen to paper. Having a bad habit of saying what she was writing though she noted to the one whom had spoken as she was entering. "Vice Admiral Murcíelago FAF" she muttered before looking up. "Ready when you are" she said as if giving the order to begin once again yet her smile did not falter. Now if the young man whom she had met outside did not follow, she would take a breath before interrupting once more. "OH, that Black Ceaser fella, he's plonked his keister outside, i dunno if the poor little pupper knows if he's allowed in or not" she said, a cackle escaping her mouth.

Surely this old woman would be more of a hindrance than an asset to this meeting, she was only here to take notes, not actually get involved.....hopefully she remembered this.

"What a beautiful day." Ishtar said to herself as she stopped to look out the right side window of one of the many narrow halls of Marineford. It had been awhile since the admiral had been able to visit the island, seeing as navy headquarters had been moved a few years ago. Dressed in her usual attire of a revealing high collar, sleeveless, navy blue robe reaching just above her ankles, the admiral was a sight to see. With a zipper in between her cleavage, and a large hemline on the front with her back, her stomach, and the lateral part of her breasts were all usually exposed. Ishtar paired her robe with a pair of tight black leggings which tapered off at her ankles and pair of black open toed high heel sandals which show off the orange nail polish on her toes. Many would assume that Ishtar was in the wrong place if it was not for her marine admiral coat draped across her shoulders.

She placed her hand on the window and felt its warmth. Ishtar was mostly confined to headquarters when she was not away on missions and it was a nice sense of nostalgia to be back in the place in where she first got her start in the marines with yahi... snap.

Ishtar snapped back to reality to see that she had begun to freeze over the window without thinking and swiftly recoiled her hand. She gave a deep sigh and saw that cracks had already begun forming over the frozen area. The small area of ice covered glass shimmered and sparked in the sunlight coming in. "Oh well, can't be helped." she thought and swiftly kept moving as to not be blamed for the incident (though who else would really be able to do such a thing on Marineford).

As Ishtar approached the room she could already hear someone speaking, but could not quite place the voice. "Darn I knew I shouldn't have stopped for ice cream on the way!" she thought as she reached to open the door, hearing what sounded like an old woman speaking and mentioning the name Black Ceaser, a known warlord.

"Sorry for running late everyone, there were other things I needed to attend to first." Ishtar lied as she opened the door. Light from the window in the hallway streamed in behind her and illuminated everyone to the chilling presence of the Archangel of the Sea. The sunlight highlighted her warm complexion, striking amber eyes, and multiple piercings. Ishtar scanned the meeting rooms of various marines of all...ages, as well as some undesirables if they were present at the time. If no one stood to to salute or greet her Ishtar would say

"I hope I haven't miss much, please feel free to continue I already am aware of the contents of the meeting." She would then move to take the seat to the right of Vice Admiral Murcíelago who had taken the lead on the Tres Iron Lotus mission. As she walked to her seat, if uninterrupted, she would notice other various members such as Cobain who was another vice Admiral as well as the warlords if they were present. The old woman who had been talking seemed familiar to Ishtar but she could not quite remember where she knew her from. Though she was of a higher rank she understood that the Vice Admiral was hungry and passionate about the mission and would allow him to take the lead...at least right now.

"Looks like it's gonna storm soon..."

Nico muttered these words to himself in a monotone voice as he walked down the wooden plank that lead away from the ship to Marineford's dock. After saying something like this most would have assumed that dark clouds looming above would be their first sight, however, the sky was as clear and pristine as it had been the entire day. Glances were shooting between a few of the marines that made up Nico's security detail, and it was obvious they were wondering what the young man's statement could have meant. Some wondered if this mention of a "storm" was some sort of code that actually threatened violence; while others simply came to the conclusion that three years of solitary confinement in Impel Down had finally broken this man's sanity - but with no words exchanged between any of them, they all reached a consensus that they needed to remain on high alert while guarding this man.

It wasn't hard for Nico to perceive just how serious the situation he was currently in was. Even though he'd been offered the opportunity to become a Shichibukai in return for his freedom (something he'd already agreed to prior to being released from his cell), there still seemed to be far too much caution in terms of how the World Government appeared to be handling all of this (Nico still wearing a striped jumpsuit and seastone cuffs was one of many clues). In some ways, Nico could understand the need for such caution when dealing with someone of Nico's reputation. He was a killer - people would be cautious about any label such as this one. However, the fact that the World Government would even find themselves bargaining with a person that they held so little faith in piqued his curiosity most of all. If the World Government was willing to do business with a person such as Nico, then it meant that there was something far larger at stake than any threat that he could currently pose. Not only were those within the World Government and Marines aware of his label as a killer - Nico was fully aware of it as well. Given that this and pirating were about the only things that were featured on his resume, he could only assume that whatever problem they had he'd be assisting in its extermination.

About ten minutes passed before Nico and his Marine escorts finally reached a heavily guarded checkpoint. Two officers walked towards security detail that had positioned themselves around the potential Shichibukai and began to converse with them. While this occurred, two guards that were heavily armed stood forward about five meters, their firearms raised and pointed in Nico's direction. From the bits and pieces of conversation that he was able to pick up it seemed that these guards weren't made aware of that any prisoner from Impel Down was supposed to be making an appearance in Marineford. Yet, the escort was quickly able to convince these guards that everything was on the up and up with a few flashes of paperwork and identification. Nico smiled a bit to himself as he witnessed these events unfolding in front of him. Just as he'd assumed, there was far more at play here than a simple job offer. With the checkpoint now out of the way, his escort began to push him forward once again, this time into a building that a pirate that Nico recognized decided to sit in front of.

"Sorry for running late everyone, there were other things I needed to attend to first."

Nico could only briefly hear these disembodied words briefly before the sound of a door closing followed. It had been the only voice he'd heard since entering the building, and it was obvious they were getting closer to their destination. With a right turn down the next hallway they were now faced with the door that Nico could only imagine that he heard closing only minutes prior. The Marines that walked in front of him prepared themselves to open the door, and as they did so, Nico also prepared himself by letting out a long sigh. He wasn't quite sure what to expect on the other side of this door, but he knew that he'd likely need to be on his best behavior in order to survive the outcome. Though he was no coward, he was also fully aware of when he wasn't in an advantageous situation, and being restrained with seastone cuffs and currently battling three years of rust qualified as such a situation. As the doors opened, Nico was greeted to a room full of Marine suits and a rectangular meeting table. Before anyone within the apparent meeting room could react, the leader of the security detail stepped forward and began to salute and explain the situation.

"Sir! I apologize for our tardiness. Retrieving the prisoner from Impel Down took far longer than expected, Sir!"

With this out of the way, the group of Marines directed Nico to his chair and physically seated him before removing those dreaded cuffs from his wrists. With that done, they'd vacated the meeting area almost as quickly as they'd entered. Nico began to rub his now unshackled wrists as his eyes began to scan the room. A light smile crept across his lips as he noticed a fine pair of breasts out of the corner of his eye, but he maintained his composure. There were serious matters at hand, and thirst did nothing to help him in this situation. Right now, he needed to make use of his stellar vocabulary in order to figure out the true purpose of this meeting as eloquently as possible.

"So. What ya'll up to?"

Interruption after interruption. Murcielago was beginning to question whether this was a serious conference meeting or a social outing at a parlor with pals and friends. Not that these people were his friends, but their lack of punctuality spoke volumes to the Vice Admiral and irritated him. "Glad you could make it Admiral." He held in his sigh as he addressed his superior officer and let her take her seat before trying to continue. "Well then, I've ca-" The door opened yet once more and this time what walked through it was a wretched being Murcielago's eyes wished they hadn't drifted upon. Better late than never applied to the Admiral surely, but with this one, he was better off not showing face in Murcielago's honest opinion. Prisoner garbs seastone cuffs and all, the meeting room had disgraced by allowing such a ignoble creature wobble in in the state that he was.

Nodding to the note of tardiness, Murcielago really just wanted to get on with the meeting without anymore delay. "Leave his cuffs on, his freedom is to be worked for." Without further ado, he'd continue

Should the uninvited Shichibukai, the Black Ceaser, have not reared his distasteful presence in the meeting room and the scribe had said her piece in regards to him, the Vice Admiral would show that he wasn't here to waste time and he didn't take the tardiness lightly. "No more late arrivals. This is a serious meeting, not a playdate. Keep my doors closed until this meeting is adjourned." For the Black Ceaser's own good, he'd better have been in the meeting room when the scribe offered to drag him along.

(Literal copy paste from last post)

Cowardice will only make it harder for those who have the meddle to stand to this trial ahead of us."

He'd give a light nod after he said his piece and let those present chat amongst themselves and make their decision. (Lets say 3 minutes of talk time).

With a sigh he took it out the folder, closed it, then grabbed the pen that was already on the table and stood back up.

(End Copy paste)

"What I'm about to pass around is the roster to sign up for this campaign. Signing it tells me and the big wigs that you and your forces will be participating in this campaign." He'd pass the paper through KNox who was to his right and she, being apart of Murcielago's forces, would pass to the paper down to her right where the Admiral sat. As she did so she'd give a friendly light smile to her for a moment before looking back to the Vice Admiral as he spoke again. "If you sign this paper and you fail to respond to matters pertaining to this campaign, as an agent of the World Government you'll face reprimanded appropriately." Finally he sat back down and let the paper float around the table, not caring to look at who did and didn't sign the paper as it was passed.

Cobain didn't care much of this mission until the name of Junbei Von Echo came about. It weren't many battles that got the attention of Cobain but a battle with Echo sounded quite nice. The Red King was a formidable foe for Cobain to fight and the two could have a legendary duel. Besides that fight Cobain continued his silly posture until his superior walked in the room forcing Cobain to adjust his posture setting up more proper than prior, face pressing against his right palm as his arm was stabbing against the tables surface. "Hm, this seems to actually interest me" said Cobain with a hint of a smirk on his face. The nefarious Vice Admiral had a few tricks up his sleeve for a situation like this. After the paper came his way and was signed Cobain would get up and start heading towards the door. "I have preparations to make for battle." said Cobain but before he could make it out the door he stopped and turned towards the host "When you're surrounded by less criminals I would like if we could discuss some things." After saying his peace Cobain exited the meeting room.

'I ain't a damn puppy, Old hag.' Stede would think to himself as he would stand to his feet. As this was, hopefully, his way into the place within without whatever his name was. He would follow her with his hands in his pocket. He should've just went in when he had first arrived. Even if he could've been attacked he'd be able to hold his own. As the Marines that were there could talk as big as they wanted they weren't, they still weren't ready for this Shichibukai. Stede thought about pushing the door open for the Old Lady, but he ended up not doing it.

Stede had a little of a attitude and when he entered wouldn't say anything, at all. He would just sit down in a open chair and listen. Honestly, since he wasn't invited it seemed like they didn't take him seriously. This thought coming into his head once he listened to everything the Vice Admiral said. He wouldn't scream out at them though, as he'd just take this all in. He had to prove that he wasn't just someone that could be taken lightly. He already was considered the weakest Shichibukai.

The paper was placed right in front of him, it was his turn to sign. He wouldn't say anything but write, in big letters, his alias. BLACK CAESAR onto the paper.  And then he would slam his writing utensil onto the table and stand to his feet. He wouldn't say anything but begin to walk over to the door, but before he would leave he would say one thing. Something that has been weighing on his mind for some time now. And if he didn't say it he would be less of a Man.

"AFTER THIS I'M GOING TO MARRY ADMIRAL ANGELO! AND PUNCH THAT SNOBBISH BASTARD IN THE FACE!" Stede would say as he would point at the individuals he spoke about. The snobbish bastard remark going directly at the Vice Admiral leading this meeting. Stede knew about that guy somewhat. And always got a strange vibe from him, a vibe he couldn't rock with. If no one would stop him he would then make his exit.

Tres Iron Lotus Siege [War Meeting] Tumblr12A gentle smile sat upon the face of the old lady, her hands whizzed through the pages at unnatural speeds, taking down word for word what was said by every single individual, giving markings of names and times, keeping up with the way everything was happening with just strokes off her hand, her handwriting was beautiful, not a word nor letter mispelled. Perhaps the many many years of paper work, or the years of painting had allowed her such finess when utilizing her hands. She mentally took notes upon the people whom where in the meeting, making minor snap judgements. Perhaps they had already done the same too her, old, brittle, late. Not the perfect marine by the slightest, though her old title, her old heritage of the marine core probably helped allieviate a lot of the issues. She had probably in her lifetime met most of these young marines in doing her rounds, perhaps just in passing, some even for longer, but since her retirement age had sapped some of her memories of the place.

She looked to the fit one, the dangerous marine whom lead the mission, her old eyes drinking him in, the way he spoke, it reminded her of herself back in her younger days, so stoic, so serious, perhaps a tad power hungry deep down, yet he had a manner about himself, he showed grace to the admiral whom was late, though she had many a years of reading someone, he was not as composed as he would like himself to be, irritiation from the interruptions was probably getting to him. The admiral herself, she should have been the one leading such a mission, yet she sauntered in late, though she allowed the Vice Admiral to continue, perhaps the Vice Admiral had recieved orders from higher up, from the Fleet Admiral to be the one to charge this mission? a test for admiralship perhaps. The female looked familiar, yet Elphiba could not place a memory to her at this point in time, her snap judgement was simple of the female though, she addressed no one, not even those of the rank slightly below her. She had put within her mental notebook that the woman was one to watch, she would either soar to the highest of ranks, or would crumble and become an enemy of the government, there would be no middle ground for this girl. Moving on to the Vice Admiral whom simply left, whom offered few words but then decided this was the best time to leave. She wondered what the Vice Admiral in charge would do, back in her day if one where to leave the war room without being properly dismissed, it was seen as a sign of disrespect, then again so could being late but unlike her peers, her age could be a rather useful tool in getting out of these "small" discrepancies. To the one that had decided his time was better suited somewhere else, she had classified him as fleeting, one who would just up and go, who would get bored with menial tasks, if it did not benefit him then why was he interested, a dangerous quality when in a core such as the marines whom relied on team work and a large army to get their bidding done. The two pirates she had known, the pupper whom had walked in with her, she knew straight away the type of person he was. All bark and no bite, evident by his outburst and attempt at leaving. It was in fact this point where the old woman spoke up. "A vice admiral walking out of a war meeting is ignorant enough" she said, not even looking to the door, instead her eyes were upon the one leading the meeting. "But a puppy who hides beneath the banner of the marines, acting like a big bulldog when he's nothing more than a chihuahua, all bark and no bite, should keep his litle tooshy plastered to the seat until his owner tells him to shift" she said. Only now shifting to view the pirate and moving her hand pointing towards the seat. "So sit that peachy arse back on that seat and keep this closed" she said pointing to her mouth on the word this, before shuffling back around, writing in what she had just uttered before the paper came to her. "Oh no dear, can't expect a little old granny to fight, I'll just slow you youngsters down for now" she said passing the paper on to the next person.

The final member here, she had yet to classify, he had said little, and honestly she knew very little off him, obviously powerful enough to be offered a truce with the marines, though she like the other marines whom had shown disdain was not a fan of using pirates within the marine core. Sighing she looked around before she spoke, though she was only supposed to be a scribe. "I assume, that there's recon going on, that iron lotus was one of our science department thingies if im not wrong right? this June Bee Veronica fellow, what defences has he made for the island, if they went to the trouble of overthrowing such a pivitol marine island im guessing its for a reason, Whats the plan Vice Admiral Sexy legs" she said winking at the rather serious leader of the meeting, getting excited, even though she wasn't involved or going to be, she could feel the rush, the hunt, it reminded her of the glory days, days in which she would hunt all sorts. It lit a fire in her. And of course this was a war council meeting, strategy and plans of attack where all done in war meetings, why anyone would leave without hearing the strategies, well....that was simply foolish in the old sages mind.

The roster had been passed around and there was nothing more to the meeting than that. Getting the roster back in his own hands, Murcielago wouldn't look at the roster just yet as it would be in bad taste. He'd take it to his superior officer and have an official copy of it made for the World Governments own records. Along with the roster, he'd want the records of this meeting and for that reason he'd dispatch Knox to retrieve the paper work from the ever so talkative Scribe. "This meeting is adjourned." Now those who were so eager to leave would be allowed through the doors. Did they not know how these things worked?

With no words spoken to her, Knox stood from her chair and approached the woman before she left the room while everyone was leaving or getting ready to. "Per orders of Vice Admiral Murcielago, I'll be relieving you those papers." She'd smile as she extend a calm hand out, her eyes locked on to those of the older woman she was speaking to. Not in a defensive or counteractive manner, Knox wasn't a fighter. But in a respective one. Assuming she got all the papers from the woman, she'd return to the Vice Admiral and hand him the documents which he'd then put in his folder with the roster and rest of the related papers. So all in all . . . how did this go. Was this a good meeting or a bad one?" It was Nico's first time sitting in. The Vice Admiral allowed this after the young man expressed that he wanted to begin moving up the ranks and wanted more responsibilities.

"Too soon to tell. When we look at this roster we'll know. But even then-" "You're always bound to have one or two no shows when it's the day of." Nico's eyes shifted from the Vice Admiral to Knox as he too stood from his chair as the Vice Admiral did, signaling they were to take their leave. He'd exit out the doors he entered from, his weapons that were held by the guards near those doors were retrieved by Knox and Nico, one each.

Tres Iron Lotus Siege [War Meeting] Tumblr12With nothing left to write, no responses from those she had talked down too, she turned remaining silent, slightly drooling over the man in charge, her walking stick still upon the table. Yet one of the subordanates approached her and requested the papers. "Darling, these are to be submited to the Fleet Admiral" she said gently, yet at the same time she handed the papers over. "But my elderly bones are creaking, do an old woman a favour and make sure he gets them" she said with a wink as she released the minutes. With a single hand aiding her, she held on to her walking stick using it to stand, "I'll see you soon sexy" she said cackling as she gave the remaining marines a wave, hobbling from the building, her cackles heard until the doors shut behind her, on to a boat that had brought her here, this boat taking her to the twin lighthouse for her next assignment.
