Honora.
The Songstress
Honora sighed, loudly. She did little to mask the exasperation she was feeling with the arrival of more trouble. Lazily, she shifted her gaze from the newly named Raphael to the marines, particularly the one who dared aim his rifle at her. Her left eye twitched slightly, her irritation building, but she didn’t make a move that would cause the man to shoot at her. Sure, she could dodge, but she rather not be shot at right now. Not if she could somehow talk herself out of this situation which wouldn’t be possible with the actions of the blue-haired boy. Raphael’s chuckle did nothing to help the situation, but at least he hadn’t launched an attack at the rifle wielding marine or the one who seemed to be the commanding officer.

Another sigh came from the woman as the blue-haired boy vanished, the teen taking that time to massage the bridge of her nose. As the boy reappeared, delivering a kick that was sure to knock the poor marine unconscious, she once again withdrew her halberd. She noted that she has been using her halberd more since coming to Yotsuba and, briefly, she wondered if she was cursed to fight until she left the island before turning her attention back to the situation.

Her eyes were on Tai Zao, who seemed unfazed by the fact his partner had just been sent flying. She watched, as she moved, as the man quickly retaliated against the blue-haired boy, a kick posed to strike the boy in one of two regions - his head or his chest. Not one to just allow little boys to be struck by men at least twice their age in vain, Honora sprung into action. She was simply going to strike whilst the man was distracted, fully aware that attempting to intercept the man would be futile. Her halberd came down upon Tai Zao like an axe, though a simple shift of his body would move him out of harms way.

The gaze of the two marines were focused on the pirates. This was not the first time they had battled against the scourge of the sea, so they knew to watch their movements. The marine who had been focused on the woman became focused on the blue haired boy the moment he took a step from his position. He however could not keep up with the boys movements once he disappeared from his gaze. Tai Zao however was unimpressed by the teens movements. Once the blue haired pirate appeared behind his subordinate attempting to attack him Tai Zao turned his body and sent a swift kick towards the boys chest. The halberd wielding woman would make a move towards Tai Zao, but she once again had the focus of the rifle wielding marine. Without any hesitation he began firing at the woman attempting to halt her progression. He was not aiming at any vital points because he was only attempting to incapacitate her.

Raphael took action as soon as Honora would. His target however differed from hers, since Trently's attack had failed Raphael was going to take out the gun wielding marine; the focus of the marine being on Honora was perfect especially since she had been the only one with a weapon within the trio. The golden eyed pirate lowered his body and ran wide in order to stay off of the marines radar. He would be close enough to attack before the marine could realize that Raphael was upon him. Luckily for the marine Tai Zao was there. The green haired marine moved around the marine in order to clash with Raphael. The fists of the men collided causing a booming noise to echo through the street. Raphael figured that if he could keep this man busy then Trently and Honora could dispose of the understudy of Tai Zao. "Resistance is futile." Tai Zao said with a condescending tone towards Raphael. Raphael smirked and responded without any hesitation. "You'll be lucky to leave this fight alive honestly." The words of the young man caused the anger within Tai Zao to rise, but did not full the mans senses.

The intensity of the man's kick felt like an elephant being dropped onto his chest. For a second, Trently felt like he couldn't breath but being on the ground at this point made me pissed. Trently thought to himself, how could he be such an idiot to do something as idiotic as that. Both of his palms touching the ground, he quickly tightens both his fists and slams them against the ground. Now picking himself back up angrier than ever, but he knew to calm himself down or else his anger would be the winner of this fight and not himself. With Tai Zao occupied by the golden eyed Buddha, Trently decides to aim straight for Tai Zao. Forgetting all about the marine who attempted to harm the halberd wielding woman, Trently sets up his stance for one of his signature techniques for defeating foe like Tai Zao. Many underestimated the young prince but they didn't know he had a way of showing those people he can end someone's life if he wanted to. He barely ever brought this technique out and only showed the sneak peak display of it a couple times before. This was a time when he desperately needed to unleash it. Noticing that the marine is still an issue, he glances at the halberd wielding woman and sticks his thumb out pointing to the marine that was accompanying Tai Zao. Hopefully the halberd woman understood what Trently meant by the hand gesture. As the stew began cooling down a bit, it was ready to try a taste test of the stew that has been brewing all this time. The Buddha and the Green Giant clashed their fists creating a booming sound that echoed throughout the street. In that split second of silence were 20 quick silent taps that could only be heard by the most observant of people. Bursting through the air like a lighting bolt, Trently heads straight for the Green Giant against the Mighty Buddha. Appearing once again behind Tai Zao, Ready to demolish him. The Young Blue Prince was in the air above the Giant's head. Trently pulling his arm all the way back staring intensely at Tai Zao, He thrusts his arm performing the technique that was to be showcased for the first time at Yotsuba Island. Thrusting his arm upon the head of the Giant, Trently sends his might and force into this one blow to hopefully send the Giant down.

Honora.
The Songstress
Honora’s eyes narrowed out of irritation more than anything else as she abruptly halted her advances. She felt her left eye twitch just slightly as she stared a hole into the face of the marine who dared to shoot at her. At that moment she wished a certain eccentric huntress amongst them right now for she would’ve been satisfied seeing an arrow in his throat with blood spewing from the wound right about now. Which was actually scary now that she thought about it, her violent thoughts, that is. Yotsuba was definitely eating away at whatever prevented people from killing people with each passing day and it would probably be best to leave town as soon as possible before she became someone who killed without a second thought. But, she would think about discussing that with her group later, right now really wasn’t the time to examine her character. Especially not with two marines bent on arresting her and the two males she found herself about to fight with.

Of course, Honora could high tail it out of that situation right now if she wanted to, leaving the two males to combat the two marines all by themselves, but that was cowardly. Now, she wasn’t above doing that, retreating to fight another day, but not when the odds were in her favor. It was a three versus two type of battle and so long as they got up in personal with the sniper or get rid of him altogether, the trio could gang up on Tai Zao. The only problem was that the two were focused on the one without the gun and if the marine wanted to, he could most definitely move away from the obvious hand to hand fighter and shoot them down.

Sure, he could hit Tai Zao and that would be beneficial, but Honora rather not take the chance of the rifle wielding marine being a lousy shot. So, she decided that she would focus on attention on him whilst the boys handled the other marine. Her attention must’ve been obvious for the marine fired another warning shot and demanded she remain where she was or the next would be finding a home in her abdomen, but she would ignore him. It was an empty threat and even if it were real, he’d probably be too concern with getting out of the way of her halberd to consider taking a shot at her.

Now that she thought about it, he wasn’t too smart. If he was, he would’ve been the hidden surprise, keeping his distance from the trio, but instead he had arrived with his boss thus putting himself in unnecessary danger. He was foolish to have thought that the trio would go quietly and Honora would ensure he paid for that foolishness without taking his life, if possible.

So, while the blue-haired boy performed his technique and Raphael kept Tai Zao busy, Honora would close the distance between herself and the rifle marine, running in a zig-zag like manner so he couldn’t get an accurate shot, and swung her halberd with all her might. If things went her way, which was usually a fifty-fifty chance, she would hear a satisfying thwack and the sound of the marine crashing into the nearest building.

"It's a shame such raw fighting potential was wasted in such a way." Tai Zao's voice had a tone of remorse in it as he traded blows with Raphael. Tai Zao however was not so focused on just Raphael that he did not feel the obnoxious bloodlust of the boy he had sent flying moments ago. Feeling that the boy would soon be upon him Tai Zao would sent a quick kick toward the side of Raphael. The golden eyed pirate blocked the kick but from the force of it he was propelled and slammed into the wall to his right. Tai Zao would quickly duck the blue haired pirates attack. He planted his hands in the ground and sent another kick towards the boys stomach that would send him high into the air wether he blocked it or not. While this was going on however the marine who had been charged with the task of handling the halberd wielding woman found himself beginning to panic due to her approach. He frantically fired his weapon at her, but found himself being slammed in his side by her weapon and sent crashing into a building leaving cracks in the concrete wall. This left Tai Zao alone.

Raphael had been trading blows with Tai Zao with relative ease. It was when the marine disputed their pattern that the pirate was caught of guard. Tai Zao had sent a horizontal kick to the ribs of Raphael. The brown skinned man managed to block the attack but was sent into a wall to his right by the force of the attack. Raphael slammed into the wall with a great amount of force and for a brief moment was stunned; he recovered quickly and propelled himself towards Tai Zao who was standing back up from his counter to Trently. Tai turned to see Raphael, but it was to late for him to react. Raphael had already made contact with the stomach of Tai Zao with a powerful jab. This attack caused Tai Zao to stumble back and grip his stomach.

At the moment of bloodlust, Trently was feeling he had gotten kicked upon attempting to land a hit on Tai Zao. His foot sinking deep into the stomach of the enraged prince. The technique Trently had learned and practiced to perfection has been stopped by a futile kick. The boy felt as though he cannot touch the Green Giant but that didn't stop him from keep pushing forward to hopefully claim a victory. The kick had propelled Trently into the air but this only induced the prince back into his right senses. When angry, Trently tends to not be quite like himself so he acts much more wild and animalistic. Trently observing Tai Zao while being propelled up in the air, opening his eyes more to where it seems as though that Tai Zao has dropped his guard. Endurance was one thing Trently trained to the point where he can come back from a hit such as the one he has just suffered. Back down on the ground it seemed Raphael and Tai Zao had been trading shots but with Raphael returning a much bigger shot to the giant's stomach causing him to stumble back gripping onto his stomach. During this moment, Trently quickly reacted and blitzed through the air going straight for Tai Zao once again. The lightning bolt surging down at the giant, Preparing his technique once again. This time being weary of any incoming attacks from Tai Zao, Ready to counter another counter if needed. Trently having a multiple plethora of ideas on how to utilize Pamu Shigan if he were to get kicked again or even miss his target. Coming closer within just two or three seconds thrusting his arm toward the head of the Green Giant hopefully creating a strong enough impact needed to knock the marine down to the ground. Trently holding on to dear life that this time the technique works.

Honora.

Honora frowned. She knew it was unladylike, her mother sort of hammered that into her head, but she just couldn’t help herself. Removing the air from the marine’s sails, sending him crashing into a wall, and possibly knocking the poor man into next week wasn’t nearly as satisfying as she had hoped. Yes, she was gratified, but not nearly as much as she thought she would be. A smile did not grace her lips. Oh no, she simply stood there, examining the down marine for any signs of movement before finally, finally, turning her attention to Raphael and the blue-haired boy.

She sighed, deeply, the duo still in the process of taking down Tai Zao, but she wasn’t about to interfere. They seemed to be well on their way to being done and she didn’t wish to get in the middle of things. Not with the possibility of having to run from more marines since there was simply no way Tai Zao had come without calling back up. If he had confronted them without informing several other marines within the vicinity then there was no doubt the people in the area would’ve reported the disturbance by now.

Of course, there was the possibility that everyone decided to do nothing about the brawl in the street, but Honora simply couldn’t fathom something like this just being ignored. Especially not in a place crawling with marines though just about every island was crawling with marines - the islands were sort of their domain. So, she would definitely be surprised if they weren’t surrounded by some awfully pissed marines aiming to arrest them by force instead of asking nicely. Even more so now that their leader, Tai Zao, was down for the count, though there was the possibility that he would spring back into action and give chase.

Either way, remaining at their current location like a trio of sitting ducks really wasn’t in their best interest.

Raphael had finally found his opening in attacking Tai Zao. The marine was now wide open for attacks, but they would have to move fast in order to further damage the green haired man. Just as the thought left his mind Raphael noticed Trently seemingly flying through the air with a out stretched Palm. Raphael would take action as well; the golden eyed man darted towards Tai Zao. Attacking the marine with a vicious uppercut caused Tai Zao to run directly into the attack of Trently, sending him crashing into a building wall. Raphael didn't finish there; for good measure he attacked Tai Zao with a volley of punches to the green haired marines head. Tai Zao fell from the wall and hit the ground hard after the onslaught from Raphael. One wouldn't be surprised if the marine were to have a concussion in this situation. Raphael took a deep breath and sighed. His body had been pumped full of adrenaline and was trying to came his excited heart. The rookie pirate scanned Trently and could tell the boy was exhausted. This wasn't good due to the fact that Tai Zao had most likely called the remaining marine force to this location due to the trio. Raphael averted his gaze back to Honora who was visibly ready to get out of this area as soon as possible. Raphael personally was not one for simply 'running', but he knew that they needed to retreat once again how they had before. "We should get out of here." His words showed no sign of exhaustion, but quite the opposite. Raphael would begin running assuming that the other two combatants were behind him.

As Trently was skydiving down and bringing his palm to the face of Tai Zao, Raphael must have read Trently's mind and had presented an uppercut to the Green Giant. The boy's palm connected with the face of the giant resulting in the man to go crashing into a building wall. The second Raphael finished up his business he glanced over at Trently and the halberd woman. Buddha had recommended we get out of our current location, Trently couldn't agree any more. Raphael took a step to only be followed by more steps until the steps turned into fast tapping across the ground as they began fleeing the scene. Hopefully with the halberd woman following along to the new area where they can hopefully hide out for a while. With Tai Zao and the marine accompanying him finally down, they can possibly recover long enough to finish the rest of the marine forces. Getting this far has been pretty fantastic but now they need a place to ahold of everything. Luckily Trently spots an alley way where everyone can hide out until they can come up with a plan for finishing off the remaining marines. "Hey! I see an alley way we can probably hide out in for a little while till we get stuff under control!. Hoping they agree to hiding out in this alley way for a while, Trently starts to huff and puff so noticeably cause of the fight with Tai Zao.

Honora.

Verbal confirmation, or agreement in this case, was unnecessary. A simple nod of the head was enough to communicate that one agreed. So, that was what Honora did. She nodded her head as she secured her halberd and then, followed Raphael. She was sure to stay behind the dark-skinned man since she wasn’t entirely sure where he was going, but she had a feeling he was just running as far from the scene of the struggle as possible. The more distance they made the better and she wasn’t against that. The only problem was the blue-haired boy, who was visibly tired but understandably so. He was young and just got done with a fight. So, eventually, the trio would have to stop, so that he could rest up.

A suggestion was soon made, courtesy of the young teen boy. An alley way nearby had been the proposed hiding spot and Honora saw nothing wrong with that specific suggestion. Regardless if Raphael wishes, the game would shift from chase to hide-n-seek. She turned into the suggested alley way with the boy in tow. She’d position them on the side of a trashcan, so that they would go unseen by nosey marines.

She took a deep breath before looking at the boy. She hadn’t really gotten his name since they had been interrupted. And now that they were hiding, this was the best time to get it before she forgot or they were confronted once again.

“Er. Ya never gave ya name.”

The trio had been running but from the sound of it only two of them were managing a good pace, and Raphael knew he was one. The man turned to see his blue haired companion was dragging his feet. It wasn't to surprising considering what he had just been through in the fight against Tai Zao. Just as Raphael was about to propose they stop Trently had taken the words out of his mouth and propose they cut down an alley and rest. Considering how cluttered the alley was it was actually the perfect place to dodge the marines that were most likely looking for them. Raphael would simply follow the two of them down the alley. The group would hide behind a large trash can and Honora and Trently would continue the conversation they were having before Tai Zao interrupted them. Raphael however would simply keep watch making sure the marines did not spot them. He would join in the conversation only when we was included in it. Raphael realized his day had been extremely eventful. He had met two people who seemed as though they would be in his life for a long time. He had also gotten himself into quite a mess although when he left home. Raphael assumed that he would get into a lot of trouble, even if it was unintentional. Although he had no intention of joining their conversation until spoken to Raphael would turn back to the duo and want to speak but not know what to say exactly. In situations like these the rookie pirate was awkward.

Giving a positive smile to both of the partners in crime as they both agree to resting within the alley way behind a trash can. Trently takes himself behind the trash can to lay down and give himself some much needed rest. The halberd wielding woman asked Trently a question which had to be answered. Trently began talking to himself in his head, asking him if he should even reveal to her his name since she may be shocked by the fact that he is the Prince which fled the Alabasta royal family. Sigh was the sound Trently made as he decided to tell the halberd woman his true identity. "My name is... Trently...You may or may not know who I am but it doesn't matter at the moment if you don't". Trently presenting a glance at the halberd woman in the eyes directly with no fear of what she'll think about him. Only for a few seconds he stares at the woman to then give a thumbs up to them both. "Nice teamwork!" Trently giving a smirk while staring at them both with delight. He then tucks his hands into his pockets giving himself some time to recuperate.

Honora.

Honora raised an eyebrow at the odd name the boy had presented to her. Trently wasn’t exactly a name she had heard before, and she had travelled a lot throughout her youth, so she was inclined to believe it was fake. Yet, the boy’s words told her that he wasn’t kidding and, out of curiosity, she made a mental note to scour any records she got her hands on. If he wished to remain unknown, he should’ve only dropped his name and said no more than that. Instead, he had added that ‘may or may not know of him’ which naturally resulted in Honora needing to solve the mystery. She wouldn’t tell him though. Oh no, she would keep that to herself since there was no reason to impart knowledge that she would be looking him up as soon as possible.

“Honora Fairchild.”

She said with a bow, breaking her brief moment of silence. She smiled at the boy and Raphael, standing upright upon saying:

“Nice to meet your acquaintances.”

She paused for a moment, the kuja considering what sort of questions she wished to ask of the duo whilst they waited for the marines to give up on finding them. She didn’t want to know anything too personal, but she also didn’t want to start one of those mundane conversations that went absolutely nowhere because… well… it was mundane. Ultimately she decided on asking Raphael for his reason for attacking the marines more than necessary. She understood the initial attack, but all he had to do afterwards was scoop up the puppy and high tail it out of there. Perhaps he was some sort of champion for justice… when it came to animals.

So, her gaze shifted to Raphael. She tilted her head to the left.

“Neh. Why did you continue to fight them marines instead, you know, running?”

When the blue haired boy spoke his name it was introduced with "you may or may not know me" Raphael however did not know Trently prior to this. It appeared as if the boy had some kind of secret, but Raphael would not probe into the matter to much. The only people Raphael knew of were major figures in the world such as Wallace D. Rose. The only reason was because the news coo would only drop the most important of news onto his home island. That and his adoptive father told him of the pirate King and others. At this point Raphael had become a part of the conversation, but stayed alert to any noises that might seem to present danger. Honora directed her attention to the golden eyed man, without hesitation Raphael answered the halberd wielding woman. "Because I don't like marines. Well don't like doesn't describe it accurately." Raphael paused for a moment before continuing his explanation. "I hate them with every fiber of my being..." The look in the eyes of the young pirate would scare someone that had a weak will; something he could tell that these two did not have. "And why run, if you always run nothing would ever be resolved. Imagine if we hadn't beaten that marine earlier and he brought his entire unit with him. Don't you think our situation would have been different than it is now?"I Raphael was directly talking to Honora by this point, but he was right doing such would have allowed them to become more organized and ultimately might've resulted in the arrest of the trio.
