"You know, I hear this is where that story of 'Noland the Liar' takes place." Said a woman to her son. It seemed as if the two were traveling together and most likely sight seeing in a place like this. Kidd had to admit that he was a traveler as well so he knew the feeling. After scouring the South Blue in attempts to find the person who was the first member in his crew, Susanoo, he made his way to the north off of rumors that the boy was seen being carried on the back of a fishman. It reminded him of the eel man who'd made him sushi, mainly because that was his first encounter with a person of the kind. As for meeting people this was not the first on his list that he wished to meet. He needed to look for the young swordsman with the silly haircut, for should he leave this place without him, he would have made efforts all the way north in vain. His crew had been left in the south with nothing more than an 'I'll be back' note punched into the ground in order to make sure that the bunch didn't attempt to leave the blues without him. He felt as if the group has a slight loyalty to him and hoped that they would understand his decision and know that he would keep his word when saying that he would return soon.

Sitting against the side of a brick wall, Kidd watched the raindrops fall slowly in front of him. The building itself however was dry as an awning extended over his head, about a meter horizontally off the wall. It stretched from the start of the end of the building and made it's way all the way across to protect this entire wall. It seemed to be made of cloth. Aside from that, the wall was not blank as it had a large display window into the restaurant that opened up behind Kidd. If the wall was nonexistent then he would have simply fell in for a meal. The whole building seemed to be about ten meters long as it was medium sized. He sat simply in the middle of the wall and looked at the crowd passing by from about twelve meters away. Me and women and blues and oranges and reds alike passed by in a hurry which was logical as the rain was beginning to come down. Still a light sprinkle at this point. They walked close enough to blend in, though they didn't seem like large clouds and if one was paying attention they might be able to identify someone by face, which was exactly what the goal of Kidd was. He wanted to see if he could see Susanoo in the crowd, however he seemed to be having a hard time doing so. Perhaps he wasn't even around? Maybe all of this was for naught.

No, too soon to give up, he only etched his environment into his skull as the scenery was actually something to look at. Nearly ten meters opposite the wall of the building Kidd was on was a fountain with small etchings of lions on it. The decorative pattern caught his eye for a second and then he continued looking around. The grass in the area around the fountain seemed to be slick as if the fountain often overflowed, as this light rain could not possibly be the reason for the soil being so loose in that spot. It looked as if it had suffered erosion for years up until this moment, signifying a broken fountain.

To the right of the fountain from Kidd's point of view seemed to be the central road of this area as that was where everyone was passing by. To the right of them was a single tree that lifted itself tall into the sky, at least 50 meters. The branches were relatively low, however they only extended a fraction of the length that the tree itself had. The tree was relatively thick and could probably be used to sit in if it wasn't raining. Right now, Kidd would just sit against the wall though. He reached in his jackets inner right pocket and pulled out a cigarette and the lighter he kept in there. On the other side hung three bottles of alcohol and some handkerchiefs to clean up later. He planned to get blacked out on the trip back to the south sea to get the crew but forced himself to restrain while lighting the cigarette and placing it in his mouth. He inhaled the smoke slowly and exhaled a warm cloud of gaseous tar into the air. "I really need to quit these." he said to himself inaudibly.

His burnoose, different from usual due to being gifted by the church, was a pale, yellow color, almost the same shade as someone who would have jaundice. The cloak came with a hood which would obscure the man's features unless someone was exactly six feet or less from him, which wasn't even taking in to account the fact that this prodigious tree's shadow covered a vast quantity of the road, the shadow extending about ten meters.

His cloak was not strange considering the weather. The rain annoyed many in the crowd, as they shuffled down the street with umbrellas and cloaks they used themselves. No one wanted the rain, no matter how light, to get in their hair, especially the women. Susanoo could never decipher why they always tried to protect themselves from..water. Was it some sort of chemical in the rain that only effected females? But then, how would they be able to take showers? He frowned, not wanting to think about any nasty stuff at the moment.

Although the crowd's various obstacles such as the occasional overweight person and slightly bigger then needed umbrellas nearly grazing Susanoo's skin annoyed him, still, it wasn't just a mass of humans going down through here, with small spaces for anyone who wanted to stalk the crowd. But, Susanoo looked like any other person in the crowd, with even his hair being covered by his hood.

One could wonder why he was out here in the first place. It was a simple task of going out somewhere to eat, as even though the church food was good, he liked a little variety in his meal. This restaurant, which promised exactly what he searched for would be wise not to disappoint Susanoo. Once his business grew large enough, and if they did in fact manage disappoint him, then he would swiftly and cleanly crush the restaurant.

The restaurant near Susanoo was pretty popular, and many food critics rated it highly. So, people going in and out through the front door wouldn't seem so unusual. Susanoo and a group of five broke off from the crowd on the road, heading towards the entrance. From this crowd of six, you wouldn't be able to put a finger on who anyone was, as none of them had any outstanding features. Three people were wearing cloaks or ponchos to protect from the rain, and two others had umbrellas out. At this position, he was about six meters to the left from Kidd, and it was at this time he noticed who he was, although his captain's attention seemed to be focused on the road, and Susanoo was out of his peripheral vision. Nothing at the moment caused Kidd to shift his attention.

His captain..the man who thought he was all that. Even though Susanoo was arrogant, at least he had a reason. After all, he believed he was the son of god! But, that wasn't the only thing that bothered him. The list of offenses was much longer then that. Not only was his unwarranted arrogance a bothersome, he had the gall to actually strike him in front of another person! Susanoo planned on getting even with the bastard when he told him to fight on the ship, but guess what? This horrible excuse for a human being decided to leave poor Susanoo stranded on an island, where he still would have been if he hadn't met his fishy friend Axel, a man he could definitely relate too.. A man as unstable as Susanoo didn't take very kindly to any of the things that his "captain" did, but when you combined them all together..well, Susanoo wouldn't be taking you to dinner and discussing things calmly. Still six meters away from Kidd, his attention transfixed on the road and Susanoo out of his field of vision, as soon as he turned away to look at the statue, that was when Susanoo would commence the attack. Once his head turned away from the crowd, towards the fountain statue, Susanoo still out of his field of vision would engage in one of his Rokushiki arts, using the power of Soru to blitz his opponent. Once in range for a decapitation, still using his Soru so his opponent would have a low chance of dodging the attack, he would unsheathe his blade on the left side of his hip with his right hand, even using one of his techniques to give him a smoother and cleaner draw. As his sword Tengu was now unsheathed, his right arm would be swung, the blade aimed at his neck and attempting to slice his head off, all while still using his Soru. During this timeframe, no distractions would happen that would assist Kidd in getting out of the way of the attack.

Everything seemed to be going pretty much exactly as planned honestly. He'd finally found Susanoo. It wasn't clear to him at first, right before his head drifted towards the fountain. However, moments before so, he'd noticed something while looking into the crowd. The crow was ten meters away, but one man, one in a cloak seeming to attempt to cloud his own face, moved four meters in the direction of Kidd, as he was only six away. It seemed odd that one would stray from the crowd like so, as everyone seemed to be walking so together as if they were a long line of ants busy building a mighty fortress. But not this one. After seeing this figure step out of line, Kidd decided that it would definitely be better to play it safe than to end up sorry, so before turning his head he allowed the subtle Kenbunshoku Haki to silently take effect. The aura given off by the man was clearly the same as that of someone he had known before. It was likely Susanoo seeing as he was yet to meet anyone in the area and fate likely would have it no other way. However, something seemed grim about him as he simply stood, as if waiting for Kidd to move and look in another direction. He failed to approach as a captain would expect his crew mate to do so; perhaps this cloaked man was indeed not Susanoo. Why else would he act so menacingly towards Kidd? Kidd put out the cigarette before turning his head, throwing it on the ground as he did so. As his head was turned, the corner of his eye caught the man that was only meters away from him. Swift movement was easily registered by the Perception Haki so Kidd was easily able to see the cloak kick of the ground almost a dozen times in attempts of reaching him. As soon as he saw and sensed the first trace of movement with his mind's eye, his Kami-e was silently active without a reason of a doubt. For good reason too as the man who leaped at him with speeds that he too easily recognized thanks to affinity in Rokushiki. Without stopping short, the swordsman was still launching himself at Kidd when the blade was swung, seemingly aiming for his neck. Unfortunately for the man, Kami-e made it more than easy to dodge when paired with Kenbunshoku Haki. Like paper his body automatically shifted to avoid the attack. His knees bent slightly as his head tilted heavily to the direction of his left shoulder he was now short enough for the blade to land just above his right ear and clank against the wall. Unfortunately for the wielder of the blade, he was now only inches away from Kidd and would undoubtedly be unable to recover from the speed at which the Soru launched them forward.

It was all over for Susanoo. Kidd knew it was the boy as soon as the sword was drawn and as he moved in it was easy to see his face from underneath the cloak. Treason was unfortunately punishable by death. Not to mention making an assault on his own captain's life. Foolish indeed. Fortunately Kidd had never fought in front of Susanoo so he would of course be entirely unaware of any of Kidd's abilities, those including Rokushiki. However, Kidd had to admit that he had never seen Susanoo use it before when taking on enemies. Strange. It just left a bitter taste in the mouth of the captain to know that his own crew would turn against him for reasons he was yet to know. Perhaps this was about the bonk over the head, surely no reason to try a man's life. It wasn't his concern. The only thing he was worried about at this moment was eliminating the threat and ensuring that he himself live long enough to never have to worry about it again. But, Susanoo had already lost the match because he was now within range for Kidd to strike, only inches away. The superior hand speed of the martial artist was enhanced due to him being ready for a sneak attack. It seemed as if Susanoo was ready to end this all with one blow and was foolish to underestimate any opponent in that manner. Either way, dilly dallying about pointless information wasn't important as this could all be thought about outside the heat of the battle.

As soon as the sword made contact with the wall from the missing swing, it was too late for Susanoo. Kidd struck the bottom of the boy's chin with a Cyclone Strike Uppercut, launching him into the air. If his mouth was open it would have been enough to crack teeth and make him bite through his own tongue but Kidd doubted this was the case. Normally, someone hit by this would be launched about ten meters in the air and would simply fall to the ground unless they had an ability to recover after being launched the full ten meters. However, this wasn't the case this time. Kidd was angry now. He kicked off of the ground, combining Geppo with his own Soru, allowing him to be at the same level as Susanoo before he reached the full ten meters. Since Susanoo was in midair he would be unable to recover until he had sure footing. Since the boy had Soru it was likely that he too had Geppo, unfortunately he would have no time to use it. Kidd pushed off of the air with his Geppo and struck Susanoo once again in the face with yet another Cyclone Strike, this time forcing him into the ground which was only seven meters below the two now. In the air is where Kidd would stay as he watched his opponent skyrocket, facefirst into the ground below.

Verdict comes to the thread rolling on to Itome's post. The dimensions of the wall is 10m with Kidd in the center, so itome being 6m to his left puts him nowhere near and entrance unless it's an alley. Ito also God Mods in some small areas, but basically it comes out to keep fighting

As soon as his blade missed its mark, Susanoo knew it was show time to get ready for a serious fight, activating his own Kenbushoku Haki and his Busoshoku Haki on both arms. Susanoo now knew that kid had gotten stronger since the last encounter, which excited him. Although he had hoped to end this battle in a single strike like how he usually ended them, it appeared that for now, this wasn't the case and he would have to settle with major damage that would end up being crucial later on. His opponent used some type of Rokushiki technique that he was slightly familiar with, but didn't exactly specialize in. The name didn't pop up in his head, but it wasn't important at this moment.

Once his sword made contact with the wall, that was when Kidd made his attack, an uppercut. This was also the same time that Susanoo would use an attack of his own in order to get some damage in. The two fighters were far enough for Susanoo to react to the uppercut and shoot his projectile, while still close enough for Kidd's uppercut to connect.

Comically, his left middle finger raised to Kidd's eye level, fired a bullet made from compressed air, a combination of the Rankyaku and Shigan, the bullet traveling to whichever eye would be the easiest to hit. It was helpful for situations were using his sword was out of the question, and after this battle was all said and done, then he would have to find his old sensei to thank him for teaching Susanoo on how to expand his horizons combat wise.

But, as soon as the projectile was fired, an uppercut was coming for Susanoo, although the uppercut left both of his eyes exposed to any nasty attacks that Susanoo would like to do, his projectile flying towards his left eye. As the arm he fired the bullet wasn't fully outstretched(it didn't need to be to aim properly, after all), it was more closer to the chin then it usually would be. The bullet already closing in by the time the uppercut was closing in as well it was likely that both attacks would connect at the same time, if Susanoo's attack wouldn't land first due to uppercuts usually requiring more time to perform if they were to have any power. However, Susanoo was in a precarious situation, and those were the type of situations he did not like to be in. Once Kidd's fist connected with his haki charged left arm, Susanoo's mouth closed, it would send Susanoo flying through the air and causing him to drop his blade, which was perhaps his most precious weapon. But, just as Susanoo's master encouraged, he was decent in hand to hand combat and didn't have to rely on his weapons all the time. Of course, he didn't know how good Kidd was, but he guessed they were in the same ball park since that uppercut of his didn't appear to do any permanent damage to his arm.

As he flew through the air, Kidd somehow managed to close the distance between the two of them, which Susanoo guessed was because of Soru, or some other similar technique. Both fighters face to face and were exactly three meters apart as soon as Kidd kicked off of the air using Geppo, preparing another attack.

Damn..he's that kind of guy with an unrelenting assault, eh? Just like how I used to be..

As he finished his short thoughts, they were two and a half meters away, and Susanoo had already prepared both an attack and defense as he begun his thoughts. Assuming his first attempt at taking Kidd's eye had worked, then he would be going for that other eye. This fight would be much more easier if both of his eyes were gone.

As both fighters were in range for their respective attacks, a jab came flying toward's Susanoo's face while Kidd would have to deal with a Shigan finger jab from Susanoo's right index finger aimed at Kidd's right eye in an attempt to puncture the eye and permanently blind him. The jab to Susanoo's face would be blocked by the middle of his left arm once again, but, rather annoyingly it sent him flying to the ground face first. But he wasn't an idiot, and rolled safely for two feet and got up, his sword next to him, only picking it up and sheathing it if Kidd was far enough, in his opinion at least.

As soon as the sword hit the wall it seemed as if Susanoo was ready for a follow up. Unfortunately for him Kidd had his Kenbunshoku Haki active and would be able to react even faster than the man who wielded a sword. Susanoo was only a third of a meter away. Right after his uppercut had been launched it seemed as if Susanoo too was lifting his own hand up as if to strike Kidd as well. He had no clue what Susanoo was doing but Kidd's fist was faster as it was lifted into the chin of Susanoo before the younger of the two was able to reach for the face of Kidd, which is what he seemed to be trying to do. (OOC: Didn't incorporate your attempt to block with your arm because the your attack was too slow to actually land. So you wouldn't have blocked until the attack was completed.) It was clear that Kidd was the better in martial arts between the two due to his close quarters specialties, and so his hands moved faster. Even if they both had an equal speed when it came to the affinity, Kidd felt as if his strike would land first since whatever Susanoo was aiming for seemed to be higher up than the chin he was trying to strike. It was only logical that his uppercut would land first. And after it did, since it was a Cyclone Strike, would lift him in the air up to ten meters by default before he would be able to recover. Before Susanoo was able to reach the full ten meters however, Kidd would point a finger in his direction, launching a beam of energy at him in the form of Rankyaku Shigan, that would strike him directly in the the naval and causing him to plummet from the sky. Should the beam hit it would surely cause damage for his internals as they weren't protected by any bone. This was done by the time Susanoo had reached five meters from the strike as Kidd was ready for the follow up before the initial uppercut was dealt.  Surely something would break after a fall of that stature. However, after he'd blasted Susanoo with his fingertip, he would have time to rest for a moment before the greasy haired swordsman was able to recuperate and launch an attack against him. He wouldn't have noticed until then, but the sword of Susanoo was also out of the swordsman's hand. He must have dropped it after the sheer impact of the fist colliding with his glass jaw.

A Choice to be Made [Private, Susanoo, Kill Enabled] TNhfauv

Alright, lets begin with the problems in Itome’s first post. In his first post he indulges in a single instance of Bunnying/Powerplay by changing Ryan’s subject of focus to something that would put Ryan at a disadvantage.

Ryan stated:
Ryan wrote:“He sat simply in the middle of the wall and looked at the crowd passing by from about twelve meters away.”

Itome decided to manipulate this illicitly by stating:

Goku wrote:“At this position, he was about six meters to the left from Kidd, and it was at this time he noticed who he was, although his captain's attention seemed to be focused on the road, and Susanoo was out of his peripheral vision.”

He also stated:

Goku wrote:“Still six meters away from Kidd, his attention transfixed on the road and Susanoo out of his field of vision, as soon as he turned away to look at the statue, that was when Susanoo would commence the attack.”

Now on to Ryan’s response to the attack

Ryans act of being aware of the presence of Itome is an example of metagaming because he claims to know Itome’s “haki aura” from a past experience. Such a thing is impossible using perception Haki. One can argue that he still used it out of suspicion of the group of people approaching him which is fine, though the previous issue still stands. His act of looking away on purpose is also metagaming as Ryan did not mention his looking away as being any form of bait at all, rather that he was doing it for no reason other than to adhere to his previous post and force an attack. Since he had intercepted his post, he should have given some sort of reason to look away, which would have stopped this from being an instance of metagaming.

Ryan also indulged in multiple instances of autohitting:

Ryan wrote:“As soon as the sword made contact with the wall from the missing swing, it was too late for Susanoo. In the air is where Kidd would stay as he watched his opponent skyrocket, facefirst into the ground below.”

While the first sentence could be misconstrued as a way to specify the timeline of all these actions, none of the proceeding statements were written as hypotheticals, nor were they actively attached to any sort of descriptions that placed them in a timeline.

Since they were all written as absolutes with no connection to the first sentence in the paragraph, every attack described is considered an auto hit.

So just from seeing three posts of interaction, it is obvious that there has been a great deal of rule breaking and problems with both of your posts. As such, I feel as though going over the rest of the thread is irrelevant, because this is enough evidence the void the topic in its entirety.

This topic is now voided and locked based on the evidence above.
