Night had fallen upon the war camp. Sounds of festivities had fallen upon the camp as the moon found its place in the starry sky. There were tents scattered throughout the land of Las Camp. Several different small groups and pirate crews congregated to meet with each other. Sturm noticed something that seemed a bit off at first. There was minor tension, for once the pirates were getting along with each other. They broke bread with one another as family and brothers. This was surprising to Sturm as he expected everyone to be stumbling over each other for glory. Sturm was fond of just watching all of this unfold. It was quite interesting to watch them all drink and eat as if it was their last meal. He was starting to understand what it meant to be a pirate. To live each day like it is your last, because nothing is promised to you. It was a interesting way to live ones life. This was the way of the pirate however. To live on the edge constantly thinking if tonight would be the last one before the reaper came to take you to the after life. Sturm was sitting on a log that had been laid down on it's side to be used as a method of sitting. He looked into the fire that sat in front of him. He pushed his goggles onto his hat so he could see the fine weapon he obtained. He was cleaning his rifle, a newer one that he purchased just for this occasion. A gun metal gray toned weapon that was polished to a shine. He was inspecting the weapon to become familiar with it.

It was smart to do such a thing. Not to mention it would be a shame if the weapon were to malfunction mid combat. Being a blacksmith in his previous life he had a knack for these kind of things and knew his way around a weapon. He named this weapon, 'Hush' because it would quiet any those who stood before him. It was silly to give a materialistic item a name like this. However, it would only create a bond even if it was temporary. He hit the button on the side to cause the gun to unhinge as if it was a double barrel shot gun. He looked down the barrel to make sure there was no obstructions that could hinder the bullet possibly. The path was clear and the tube where the bullets loaded into was empty. The weapon was in a pristine condition. He just admired the beauty of the weapon. He then clicked it back into place and aimed down the sight quickly. The iron sights weren't calibrated. He took the time to tweak the nob to make sure he would be aiming quickly.

His nose would caress the night air , as the gentle breezes brought along the harmony of the camps smells . The air felt wonderful in his dank afro , as it would resist moving a bit in the wind walking around with a bottle of liquor in his hand. Leaving the group of salty pirates , Jaden had won there bottle in a game of chess. Chess was a a classic strategy based game and it was surprising for a group such as themselves to have it. Jaden didn't have much of a way with words unless it came to gambling , drinking or information , meaning he wasn't the socialist person at the campgrounds. A whole bottle to himself wouldn't be a fitting end to this night he had searched for someone to drink with amongst the many campfires and groups.

In the midst of his search he noticed the cowboy fella , from when he arrived at Las camp. He was an interesting figure to Jaden seeing as he simply curious , which was a trait that may lead to his demise one day. He'd approach him slowly , giving himself a second chance if he wanted to turn around. The fire would crackle louder as Jaden grew closer , observing the weapon in this cowboy's hand. Jaden found an open spot on the log , and took a seat without even asking. He'd rather be forgiven then to hear the word "No". He'd look over and notice the rifle in his hands , "Ain't that a nice piece of equipment....it should've dawned on me you was a marksman". He'd hold the bottle towards him as if he was offering him a drink.

Honestly Sturm was excited for obvious reasons. He gets to use this wonderful weapon that he purchased also the weapon that was gifted to him by the lad on karate island. The cyborg tweaked the weapon with quick precision. There was quite a lot of perks to being a cyborg honestly. He could be extremely precise with anything he did. As long as he put careful thought he could move any mechanical limb extremely fast and stop on a dime. However, he usually only abused this factor in combat or in secrecy. He did not want the entire world knowing he is partially mechanical just yet. Not to mention it gave him a nice element of surprise against his foes. People will just assume he is only efficient at a long range. In reality he is dangerous at all ranges because of his enhancements. He had some ideas in mind about improving himself. First thing on his mind was surviving this thing. With this many people he was well aware of the fact that this could get ugly real quick. His mind was focused on picking off as many marines as possible. Sadly he wanted to stick around in the blues for a bit longer but there was no reason to. He did not have any attachments nor a crew yet. So why not head into the Grand-line? Sure it was a bit more dangerous but he could obtain the materials needed to enhance himself. The blues would only serve to hold him back in the long run. He was not quite sure if he was ready for such a trip but might as well walk the path of a pirate. Not to mention he would most likely be more accepted in the Grand-line. People on the islands outside of the family he stayed with would not be able to comprehend his existence.

He grabbed the shells that were crafted for this weapon. A upgraded version of the shells he had before. His eye made a zooming noise as he looked over it calmly. The weapon he used before relied on gunpowder. This weapon he used now was much more effective in flowing combat. It was then the lad who stood next to Sturm in the crowd with the afro sat down on the log. Sturm did not flinch at all as he sat down. He unhinged the gun with his right hand and fed the rifle its rounds. The lad made a comment about him being a marksman, this made Sturm chuckle for a moment. “I am a lot of things lad, marksmanship is only one of my many skills.” Sturm would then slide another shell into the rifle. He would then look over at the boy who offered the bottle. He pulled down the bandanna and grabbed the bottle of ale. He took a quick drink and handed it back. “Much obliged....as a matter of fact I never caught your name.”

It was one of those moments deep inside someone they feared would never come through , he was holding a conversation with another lad with no benefit. Secretly he did fear being alone the rest of his journey's and this moment was the beginning of something new. Being anti-social had its perks until the voices in your head become your friends instead which cause your character to change as well. He'd ask for Jaden's name and he debated on rather to just leave his alias or his birth given name.

"My name...is Jaden King. You can call me Sloth or Sin , just a couple of name's others know me as."

He'd stare at the campfire as his mind had wondered , various thoughts raced through his head. He acted tough through his false laziness , and acted as if he didn't fear anything. His only talent being a swordsman , and his evasive moves that's all he brought to the table. The feeling of thinking your life could end because of your failures consumed Jaden sometimes , and sometimes he let them win due to his inner demons feeding off his worries. He'd crack a sleepy smile and sit the bottle of liquor onto the floor.

"I don't think calling you cowboy the entire time is going to work , what do you go by?"

The moon was beaming down on the area of low lifes as a young Trillion was walking threw it. He had on his black suit and dress shoes. He looked pretty damn shrape most couldn't tell if he was a pirate or not. But in fact Trillion was a marine rookie who well was kinda lost at the moment. But this was a good thing now nobody knew who he was so he was able to walk pass most easy like. As he walked he saw many folk sing and damce and play games. It got him thinking if this was a real gathering of pirates or cosplayers. Trillion stopped as he saw a two other dudes by a camp fire getting ready to drink. Thinking to him self who could they turn out to be. He walked over with a clean cut smile saying, two is company but three is a crowed mined if i join you two im kinda lonely here.
He looked on wondering what the conversation is about.

Sturm finished loading his weapon, six more shots to be exact. He closed the gun once more, causing a loud clicking noise. Then the lad with the large afro would speak his name. 'Jaden King.' He said some other names but he was not interested in that. Being a nobody who has just started his voyage one must earn the right to say a name. Sturm had a small bounty but not enough to be known throughout the seas. Regardless he knew he had not earned his title just yet. “Gerald Sturm, but call me Sturm.” His voice was deep, that of a massive man. But it was stern and direct. Jaden would look into the flames as they crackled and danced in the night. He seemed troubled and worried about the things to come. Sturm could only chuckle as he has stared into oblivion and mocked it once before. It is why he ended up the way he did. Why he was no longer human in any shape or form. He could not go back to the times before when he had a family or when his parents were alive. He was no stranger to dancing with the reaper. Before Sturm could speak another approached the fire.

A man in a suit approached them, Sturm knew not of his affiliation but he looked as if he did not belong here. However he showed no form of malice, especially in a camp full of pirates that are ready to do battle. Sturm's other bladed weapon rested on his back. “We are not long for this night young-in, We are about to turn in for the night, we have a long day tomorrow. Well at least I am not staying up.” Sturm would say with a chuckle. He grabbed the bottle that sat next to the log and stood up to his full height. The massive cowboy that rolled in from no where. He was not worried about the events that were sure to come, he had already plunged once into the abyss. If it was his time to see the reaper, he knew she would welcome him with open arms. He pushed the bottle to his lips and finished the rest. He did not take a eye off the newcomer for good reason.

“We have a long day tomorrow Jaden and new lad if ye are coming along. I suggest you get as much sleep as possible. It is going to be one hell of a ride.” He explained as he walked into his tent to turn in for the night.
