Linda Savage

“For the last time- you know what, I don’t have to explain myself to you. I am your big sister. Not the other way around.”

Linda states as she bangs the shot glass on the wooden countertop. Purple eyes are narrowed on the face of her translucent sister - a girl people would swear was a younger version of Linda given their features. Disappointment is written all over her sister’s face and it was an expression that would’ve made the marine promise to do better or throw her hands up and give in back in the day. She doesn’t know why Alyssa even dons that look anymore. It has been roughly three years since that look had worked on her and it wasn’t going to magically start working again because she wanted it to.

“You don’t act like the older sister.”

Alyssa finally responds. There’s a frown on her face for maybe half a second before it gives way to concern. Linda absolutely hates that look on her sister. No one gets to be concerned about her. Especially not the one that was-

“I’m just trying to look out for you.”

Now its Linda’s turn to frown.

“Don’t.”

.And, as if to spite her sister, the marine demands a bottle of rum from the bartender. Her attention shifts to the bottle that’s placed before her and she vaguely wonders when the bartender took her shot glass from her before deciding she doesn’t really care. She takes a swig from the bottle and sets it down with the same force she used to put her shot glass down. Her gaze shifts back to Alyssa. The disappointment is there again but Linda doesn’t care. She hasn’t for years.

“Unbelievable.”

Alyssa says, her words accompanied by the obligatory shake of the head. Linda doesn’t reply though. She doesn’t have to and she wouldn’t have enough time even if she wanted to. For as the words left her sister’s mouth, the younger Savage began to fade from existence. She isn’t startled by this. She has had years to get use to the various ways they concluded their conversations. Her sister is dead after all and that’s Linda’s fault. And its that very thought that makes her down the rest of her rum.

Genève Artois

Genève is certain of two things when she disembark the water vessel from hell that transported that managed to transport its precious cargo to the island of murderous, man-eating birds in one piece despite the various problems that had occurred upon the ship. Firstly, she is positive that Oka lacks this basic human mechanic called self-preservation. She had suspected it for years, but she was only able to confirm this after they set sail from Lvneel in search of this martial arts master that inhabitant one of the various islands the North Blue boasted. It’s the only excuse she can come up with that explains why the princess had decided that meeting this Linda Savage was more important than ensuring they didn’t get their intestines torn out and their faces munched on by some very carnivorous birds. It isn’t a good excuse, but its adequate enough and that will just have to do.

The second thing the noble is certain of is that D’Angelo and herself are Oka’s enablers. Genève is fully aware of this fact and she accepts it. She knows that she gives into the princess’ demands despite her fierce opposition to whatever half baked plan her mistress cooks up. She had learned a long time ago that attempting to dissuade Oka from any task she has set her mind to is a practice and futility. She doesn’t stop trying though for its her dream to one day convince the princess that whatever she had planned was not only incredibly stupid, but dangerous as well. And if she can’t manage that, she at least attempts to get herself excused from the plan. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and this is definitely one of those instances where she had lost to the stubborn princess.

So, the noble makes her way through the marine base in utter silence. She’s just a little upset that she was dragged from the protection her cabin provided her and onto the streets of the marine base. She stays close to Oka’s side though. She knows she will look like a tasty snack and she rather not be scooped up by one of those carnivorous birds if one was close by… though, her two companions don’t look threatening at all either. So, maybe sticking to Oka’s side is just another practice in futility because if the carnivorous, winged creatures from hell decide that she’s a tasty meal then there’s nothing Oka or D’Angelo can do about it. That was pretty obvious since no one in the group carried a long ranged weapon. For a brief moment Genève thinks about investing in one, but she violently shoves that thought away. She was more likely to shoot herself than her intended target. So, it was better if she left the combat to those that leaned towards it.

Besides, history has always been her forte.

The group continues to walk until the reach what could only be a bar. It was a decent size building that could hold a solid one hundred patrons by Genève’s estimate. And it look like the bar had several customers if the sound emitting from the place was any indication. She frowned as she committed the building to her memory though it was a useless bit of information that would be quickly discarded if room was needed for something of more importance.

She enters the bar with her companion, the noble flanking Oka’s left side. And the first thought that shoots through her head is how odd the expression on the bartender’s face was.

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought

Prelude To A Troublesome Group Maxresdefault

" " Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain because life's greatest lessons are learned through pain."
What's a bar? Well it more than just a place where you casually drink away your sorrows. It is a hub of information where people gather together to exchange stories or experience. It was a perfect place for newcomers to attained fame or useless chatter. It's also a place where shady people gather to relax or shimmer down after a long day of bullshit. An on Swallow Island is where they have standard flying bullshit that have tendencies to eat or carve anything that walk on all fours or two legs. It didn't seem to bother the average citizens because they were use to these conditions where there life is always on the line. To come here you either had to be a savage or was assigned to this God forsaken island known as Swallow Island. Lets me say it wasn't no privilege nor honor to be here on this island.

But that was the thing Swallow Island wasn't a tourist island in fact more people was weary of this island because of it carnivorous birds. Which could swoop down, and carried off it victim to it nest to feed on his or her flesh. Frankly it was daily thing which is why marines was station on this island to keep the birds at bay. But there was something just as fearsome as the carnivorous birds he had already place himself in the local bar.

In fact not only was he already in the bar but he was at the very countertop which the bartender serve drinks at which was bad for the marines. Who I may added walk in not to long ago carrying a conversation about whatever they were discussing. How did this guy know that they where marines? Well each individuals had on a standard justice coat which pretty much identify them as that faction. There was two people whom happen to be just 1 meter away from Jack unfortunately a single man separate them form Jack breathing down Linda who was currently talking to another girl{Her Sister}. Oddly enough Linda wasn't alone when she first arrive into the bar it was another marine who had yellow hair who seem to follow her to the counter top where the bartender service his drinks at. Jack had noticed them upon them entering into the bar by the corner of his left eye just like any other person whoever entered into a place eyes locked on the newcomers out of curiosity. But Jack wasn't a fool he didn't want to alerted the marines of his curiosity so a simple peek with his left eye will be enough for now{Left Eye Corner Peek}. Linda was sitting to the left of Jack{Don't forget there is a man to the left of Jack then it is Linda party} while Jack himself was near the right corner{Upper right} of the bar. The building itself was 7 meters in all directions a perfect square which was1 story tall with 2 windows, and 1 door only. The countertop where the bartender service his drinks was 6 feet long, and 4 feet tall. So the sitting order was Linda's Sister, Linda, a random fodder, and Jack oh let not forget Artois who was 1 meter behind Linda directly in the middle of Linda and her sister conversation.

The bar set up was quite simple a couple of tables, and chairs here, and there the bar itself was made out of wood. The furniture was made out of wood too, and the group was sitting on wood stool.Talk about balling on a budget the majority of the people who was in the bar was in the middle of the room gambling, drinking, and exchanging stories. Jack wasn't in the mood for that in fact he hated petty conversation, and he grew tired of the nonsense Linda, and her sister sprout about to the point where he decided to shut them up himself. Jack wasn't alone though he had hired a few grunts whom was eagerly awaiting for Jack orders or example in which they had admire. The countertop had started at the right upper corner of the room this is where Linda party was currently at. As for Jack companions they stood in the middle well out of reach of Jack pending assaulted well majority of it. You probably don't understand why is Jack attack these lawful marines? Well I can insure you the reason is border line crazy, and possibly unreasonable to those who looking in. But Jack can insure you the useless chitting chatting about life, and the fact they are marines subject them to be attack. An possibly out right killed for whatever reason Jack can conjure up whether it be stupid or unfair it is life. But Jack is a man who can't be reason with a raging bull awaiting to snap at anyone who pissed him no matter how small the issue is. It's to bad that there will be innocents caught in this altercation but that my friend is the risk you take when you step into a public hub known as a bar.

Now I bet you wondering why Jack called a savage well it's not because of how he acts it's the fact that he is an minkmen. Not any old minkman he is a elephant minkmen with a 2 meter long trunk .Jack is a massive minkmen who stature taller then most people his current height is 10 feet even weighing 450 pounds.  However, while still being immensely muscular, Jack's arms are disproportionately small when compared to his enormous torso.  He have blonde yellow hair , and his hair is wear in a ponytail with 1 long braids on each side. He wears a dark, sleeves , feathery coat with bone pauldrons spikes on each shoulder.  Wrap around his waist fit a belt that have his jolly roger in center of the belt buckled. With a gray pant of baggy jeans, and grayish skin having the features of a elephant{2 meters risk} he is a force to be reckon with. Jack body was position in such a way that his right hand rest against the wooden countertop aim at the general direction of Linda party as for his left hand it was position in his lap. Jack glance was at general direction forward but at the corner of his left eye he could make out his surroundings enough to know that he was in position, and range with his attempt.  Not to mention he was longer then the marines so he had plenty of time to make out his surroundings carefully just in case something happens. Simultaneously as Jack blew he had left out icy breeze as his right hand release a massive amount of snow  instantly in the direction of random fodder, and Linda party of 2. The icy breeze had turn into a full blown blizzard one that rob  the marines of sight, and body heat which would equally be dangerous in this situation. Not to mention 10m long,5m wide, and 5m tall  mass of snow attempt to slam into the party which was in front of Jack. This snow was rapidly spitting out at remarkable speed, and since the party was like only 1 meter away they were subjected to filling the full rage of the knetic force which would undoubtedly break bones, and buried the individuals in the snow. But there is more since they are in a bar , and the bar durability is only so much the marines would find themselves hitting several pieces of furniture before humble slamming into the bar wooden walls which would crack open due to the amount of force that the attack release. But to make matters worse Jack had increase the distance of his attack so that he was sure to hit his foes without failure because that wasn't a option. This combination was together instantly at the same time giving the target little time to react. Since the marines can't reach maximum speed without use of a technique or running start they is pretty much screwed, and is subject of getting bones broken, and possibly knock unconscious due to the amount of force which Jack had release. The blizzard abilities where also increase spreading the range of this deadly storm by additional 10 meters as was Snow Rush. The entire bar was effective by the climate change, and it wouldn't be long before Jack start having fun with his foes. Yes of course this was attempt at the marines who spoke or was in the general direction of Linda. Shit happen though it is unfortunate Jack wasn't much of a man of verbal confrontation instead he was a man of action. The front door was currently close shut, and the door was just in the middle of the building with 1 window on each size. These actions was instantly giving the foes little time to save there skin or come out on top. If they attempt to move out the direction of the attack it would subject them to Jack Snow manipulation which he will attempt to control the flow of his snow were he can successfully hit them without fail. There was no waring from Jack body his body sat at the same position when they appeared. The only waring would be the rapid sound of snow pending assaulted.

Linda Savage

Maybe Linda was drunk and just didn’t feel like it because there’s just no way a sober person would’ve missed a hulking figure right next to them. Honestly. The alcoholic with the tendency to talk to her dead sister only noticed the figure a split second after he unleashed his attack. And then it was just too late to do anything about it. She had absolutely no choice but to get swept up in whatever the guy did and neither did the other occupants of the bar. The fact that she wasn’t drunk enough for this was the only thing that went through Linda’s mind as she made impact with the wall and that startled her.

She didn’t notice she had been sent flying nor had she been aware that getting knocked into the walls of the bar could hurt. It wasn’t excruciating pain or anything. But it wasn’t pain that was pleasant either. Nor was becoming one with the wall and that was probably a more pressing concern than pain. She could deal with pain. She rather not break through the wall though. She sort of like the bar and it definitely didn’t have the funding necess-

Was the building groaning? Linda wasn’t entirely sure but she hoped that it wasn’t cause she rather not go through-

She could feel the wood give on her and she would later find out that she had been pressed against the wall closes to the door. Suddenly she wasn’t in the nice atmosphere that was the small bar but rolling on the ground with no way to stop herself. Well… not until her momentum slowed a bit and even then she probably wouldn’t because rolling was pretty safe at the moment. She probably rolled a good six meters from the door before she sprung onto her feet.

Now Linda is aware that its her civic duty to march in there and apprehend him but she doesn’t. She didn’t join the marines because she felt like saving people. She joined because it allowed her to earn enough money to supplement her daily habit and she was too sober for this. Throw in the fact that the dude flung her out of the bar by using some weird power she didn’t understand and that was more than enough reason to retreat to the safety that was the marine base. It wasn’t far, the gate was a solid five minute walk from the bar and since she was running the time would be cut in half. Factor in the fact that she had a head start and she estimated her arrival to be in one minute and thirty seconds.

With her path being viewed by other marines, it would be odd for the pirate to pursue her. And so, she wasn’t entirely worried about being intercepted. If she was no doubt the alarm would be raised and back up would come.

After the adrenaline wore off, which would occur in the safety of the marine base, Chasity would find out that she hadn’t gotten out of there completely unscathed. Her left arm was broken and her ankle twisted. Even if she didn’t want to, she would need to see a doctor about her injuries if she didn’t want it to get worse and so that’s what she would do. Hobble to the nearest medical center on the base.

Genève Artois

Genève is sure of two things as the trio makes their way from the bar they had visited, which was in the opposite direction from the bar Linda was at. Oka was disappointed, there was simply no better way to explain the solemn look on the princess face. She had been excited to finally meet someone that could possibly help her out in the martial arts department only to find the bar lacking a certain marine they had gone to see. After spending a solid five or ten minutes confirming what they already knew to be true, they left the bar and headed straight for the base - Genève would later count the trio lucky since they avoided whatever mess went down at the bar Linda was at.

The second thing the noble is sure of is that they won’t be heading to some other island. Oh no, they would definitely be spending the night on Swallow Island. After all, Oka would like to try again in the morning and Genève couldn’t really deny the princess her wish. Besides, it was one night and the noble could definitely live with that. Well… so long as their stay wasn’t extended indefinitely because she really didn’t like the island and wished to be off it.

Either way, the trio would find themselves back on the base. Arrangements for the night was made and the trio would find themselves scouring the street of the marine base looking for any information they could get on Linda Savage.

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought

Prelude To A Troublesome Group Maxresdefault

“Shut up.” Was the two words that offer from ,”Jack The Savage” mouth as he watch the young woman get carried away by the force of the attack. The pirate was debating on whether or not to finish the woman. Lucky the woman had complied with his request which was not speaking in fact majority of the bar did what he requested which was to shut up. Now most people would agree to say the request before throwing a temper tantrum but Jack isn’t a reasonable man so clear logic such as that doesn’t really click for Jack. Unfortunately it was a bit too late even if he wanted to change back the hands of time in order to satisfy the people around him. So due to Jack personality the people around him and the environment had suffered tremulously.  But as we all know life isn’t fair.

Now more importantly the bar condition was rather weird if you was looking in from outside. You would see the windows which are icy practically you are unable to see into the building period. Not to mention it the floors of the building which was entirely cover in snow well some portions more than other areas. For example the Blizzard had cover the entirely of the building floors with small amounts of snow. But what about the Snow Rush? The attack alone should have drove through the bar wall’s, and break them. Lucky Jack was in a generous mood he had control the flow of the snow to the level in which it wouldn’t cause the bar walls to break, and it wouldn’t give the impression of crackling the wall either. He had even slowed it a bit down, and allowed the snow to carried Linda to the door then manipulate it to move around her. The only things that alerted the outside was the thud sound which the snow had made as it carried Linda into the wall. The fact that Linda was able to successful walk out the bar was remarkable not that Jack carried anyhow. The furniture in the bar was either buried in snow and or flip in some kind of fashion. Jack had manipulated the snow in a fashion which allowed only half of the building to be block off. So if you would try to enter half of the 7{Meters} by 7{Meters} the front portion of the building the door entrance was block off by snow. As for Jack companion they were cold due to the condition of the blizzard but they were alive due to Jack generously.

Now the bartender wasn’t that lucky {His neck was snap} but his allies were those that say something about Jack. Jack had already changed his position of body facing the door as the attack successful hit Linda. This way he was able to control the snow without hassle. Jack had stood up as he glances at the weakling pirates as he said, “Let us go.” With that he had slam his back into the wall which such force that broke a 10 feet hole into the wall. The self-inflicting attack didn’t do much damage to Jack back other than slightly bruising due to his massive size. Upon the words of Let the pirates was already near Jack waiting for him to deliver them out of this bar safety.  Jack had motion his head in the general direction of the wall so he could see what he was doing he didn’t want any surprise. Now it was time for them to leave. Upon the successful attempt of breaking a hole into the wall of the broke Jack made his way outside the bar.  Exiting the bar from the back arriving to what seems to be thick woods before he carefully made his way into the woods leaving this area entirely. His companion had followed his lead too. Jack the savage had done this with great cautious he didn’t want to be bothered no more then what was already done. He had something more important to do, and only time will tell if all goes well.

Sorry im going to decline the "defeated a pc" rewards. Linda was easily capable of standing up and leaving the area after the initial attack. She is not incapacitated, she is not knocked out, nor is she in any sense of the word. Defeated

This does not qualify as a defeat, you assaulted someone and instead of fighting they fled. That is like saying Person A shouted at person B, Person B ran away crying, i get to claim the defeat reward because they fled.

Monet hugged Luffy and almost exhausted him. Luffy broke the floor and fled. That does not constitute a defeat. Monet was defeated by Tashigi because Monet was unable to move, unable to retaliate, she had no ability to do anything, she could not run, she could not do anything. Again i say, if you get shot in the arm and decide to flee instead of fighting. That does not constitute a defeat. Just like a broken arm does not constitute a defeat.
