"Looks like it's about to storm soon..."

Eldritch muttered these words to himself in a monotone voice as he continued to walk down the horribly paved streets of Briss Kingdom's peasant district. Dark clouds loomed in the sky above the Briss Kingdom, as if mourning the how very shitty this area of the Kingdom was. With each second that passed, the clouds seemed to become even more engorged with water, but the luckily rain had not yet set in. If anything, this meant that Eldritch needed to get a move on when it came to finding the residence of his client. It seemed as though he'd been walking for hours, but in reality it couldn't have been that long. He chalked this loss of time to the fact he hated being in this area of the kingdom - any amount of time in this this felt like far too long, but he needed to travel through it before reaching the Noble area further along the road. Picking up his pace, Eldritch began to walk a bit faster through the area.

About ten minutes passed before Eldritch finally reached a checkpoint that was patrolled by armed guards. Two officers walked towards the young man while another two guards that were armed stood behind about five meters, their firearms raised and pointed in Eldritch's direction. It was fairly obvious that relations between the rich and the poor in this Kingdom weren't exactly the best, but Eldritch couldn't fault the Noble's for making sure the rabble kept their distance. With that much squalor it was only natural for these people to assume being in even closer proximity to it would cause it to rub off on them. Eldritch quickly raised both of his hands into the air in order to let them know that he wasn't a threat before explaining that he'd been hired by a Noble to take care of a job.

The group of officers seemed a bit skeptical that anyone would hire someone that appeared to be as young as Eldritch appeared to be, but they had noticed the rifle that was slung across his back - something they made sure not to take their eyes off of, and the attire he was wearing. Eldritch could sense that he'd be standing here all night if he didn't provide a bit more proof so he nodded in the direction of one of the guards before speaking.

"Hey, I have a letter from the Noble I'm talking about. He has his seal on the letter, it's in my right pocket."

The two guards looked at each other after the young man said this, and it seemed they'd worked together long enough that they were able to pick up on what the other was thinking without the other needing to speak a word. One of the guards immediately pulled out his flintlock pistol and began to move over to Eldritch's left side at a distance of about a meter, the gun aimed at the young man's head.

"You said it's your right pocket, right? He's going to check for it. If you try anything, I'll blow your head off, you understand?"

"Understood."

None of this really phased Eldritch at all, not because he was used to firearms being pointed at his head - no, that was something he wasn't used to at all since most people were never aware of his presence to begin with. The reason he found himself okay with what was happening now is that he could understand every action they were taking, and he couldn't blame them for their caution - albeit it was a little much to deal with peasants, but then again he didn't know the full situation behind what was going on in this Kingdom...maybe things were worse off than they first appeared to be.

As the male said this, the other guard walked towards Eldritch's position. He was able to see the pocket in question, and soon began to turn the pocket of Eldritch's battle suit out, looking for the letter. Just as he said, the letter was still in his possession. He looked at it for a second, but something about the man's face started to give Eldritch some unease. As soon as he picked up the letter, he should have immediately sounded off that everything was okay and that he could go ahead - but none of that was happening.

"Wait a minute..."

As the guard said this, Eldritch could immediately see the two guards that were still standing at a distance of about five meters away begin to train their guns on his chest with even more intensity, the only thing keeping Eldritch alive in this moment being this man's word.

"What's the problem, man?"

"...this isn't...!"

He could now see the fingers of the guards clenching down lightly on the trigger of their weapons more and more in this moment. On top of that, he still had the man standing to his immediate left that continued to point the gun at his head, and no doubt his trigger finger was beginning to feel an itch as well. He could feel a cold sweat bead down his forehead. Was this really how he was going to be killed? After everything he'd given up and everything he'd been through up until this point, he was really going to be taken out because of the incompetency of a guard and his inability to recognize the seal of one of the Nobles he worked for? What kind of shit was this?

"Oh! Wait, I recognize this now! You're all good. Go on ahead."

Almost as soon as this was said, each of the guards immediately holstered their weapons and began opening the gate while giving him warm greetings. The fifteen year old was still a bit shocked from the entire ordeal, and it took a few seconds for him to regain his composure before he accepted the letter from the guard and continue on his way past the gates and towards his client's estate.

Elisa DarkWalker
Elisa Darkwalker had just left the semi-rundown bar she was working at for the last few hours with a bloody outcome in the forum of two dead marines stuffed into barrels buying her time to collect herself and working out her path for her future. On leaving the bar she would find herself stepping out onto the wet reality of clouds above "sigh..sigh...sigh". Elisa wasn't really a person who was affect by bad weather but with the events that had just transpired within the bar, the realism of her situation and what her actions meant just made things allot more depressing ontop of the gloom blanket.

Placing her hands within her pocketed Elisa started walking along the paved streets, not really knowing where she was going she simply walked on and on for several hours just thinking to herself "I really need to leave this island, they won't know my face elsewhere...though the Marines are so corrupted grrrr...what to do"* BUMP..BANG*. A stranger wearing a red, white and blue bandana red  and black leather jacket had just barged into her as if she wasn't even their causing their heads to butt into each other. "Oi watch where your going...I'm not in the mood" ".... .... .." He wouldn't reply with words though a simple spit in Elisa face said it all". After a quick conflicted between the two of them Elisa would find herself holding a invite to a gathering of people for hire "Nest of scum"and the bandana guy face-down in the dirt..

On determining she would go to this gathering Elisa would start making her way though it wouldn't take that long as by chance the nobles residence was around the next corner "Convenient". Elisa Smiles due to at least one thing going right on this gloomy day. As Elisa walks through the entrance with multi-pal armed guards she doesn't even give them a glance, ignoring their presence completely. Taking a entire minute to realist she walked right passed the guards hurry to take aim "Hold it right their!" Wearing a black shirt under a black ziped up vest with black shorts folding at the waist, black street fighter gloves she looked quite professional and thus with a single glare[as if she wanted to rip out their faces and feed them to dogs] she is given the "Never-mind your good" Though the only reason she was actually let through was the seal showing from her back pocket.

She continues to the meeting place "Hmm, this could be interested".

Given the actions shrouding the swordsman and with his return to the South Blue where he had established his organization, Ondori and those within his company were highly sought after. May they work as mercenaries in his conglomerate, as craftsman that sold arms and goods, or simply had services to offer people like navigation jobs. His wounds from his battle on Ohara having healed, Ondori was eager to get back into the swing of things and with him coming straight from an appointment with a client on Minion Island in the North Blue, he was quite restless and anxious to get started. This was originally a job he had assigned to one of his other associates, but with Nobles and big money being on the table, he saw this as a high profile and high pay-out job.

While he really didn't seem the type, Ondori was actually quite professional. He may seem disconnected in meetings and untethered when fighting and spitting curses out his mouth, but he always had a genuine concern for his clients satisfaction and never lost sight of that no matter how young and wild he may seem.

"You heading out on that job for the Nobles?" Ondori had been coup'd up in his room aboard the ship for majority of the day, unknown to Bato he had been prepping for tonight. "Yeah, I'm taking a few guys with me too." Walking down the plank of his docked shipped he had five of his associates on standby. "You can't always trust these Nobles to hire people who can get things done." Bato nodded and went about his business. Out of the five with Ondori three had an aptitude with firearms, something he had never been keen with and the other two were better with their hands, another style of fighting he lacked in. As they followed behind him he patted himself down until he heard a piece of paper ruffle. "Almost thought I lost it." He muttered to himself before reading over the letter. The others were talking amongst themselves as he scanned over the letter and halfway through lost interest and figured he'd be briefed with the others called in when they were all together. All he remembered from the message was that the seal on the parchment would be his ticket into the estate.

After a bit of walking he and the others stopped a ways away as they came upon the establishment and saw a woman walking in through the gates ahead of him. She was met with hostility to which she didn't bat an eye at and was free to go. He didn't mind the guard's behavior as much as it did peak his interest and open his mind up to be more optimistic about the job. "Wonder who she is." Maybe these Nobles weren't screw ups and he'd meet a few like minded people that were actually capable of carrying their own weight. It wasn't impossible after all. Approaching the gate, he already had the paper in hand ready to present it. Rifle barrels raised at Ondori's party he sighed. One of the men standing guard stepped up and took the paper from him for barely more than a second before returning it to his hand. Walking forward as he folded the paper, the other five began to walk as well, but were held up. "One paper, one person." Ondori turned back and tried to reason with the man. "But they're wit-"
"One paper, one person. They can wait outside." Scrunching his lips to the side he raised his shoulders and tilted his head to the side. "Hopefully this doesn't drag on forever. Sorry guys."

Not caring enough to give the guards a hard time about it, Ondori proceeded and his associates waited outside loitering and shooting the crap while their boss now had more of a reason to stay awake during the meeting.

He did not wish for it to be awkward, but it seemed that whatever he did, it was going to be awkward. He had to explain to Eldritch that in fact, he was feeling a bit tired today, and that on top of everything, he could not find another invitation, and while one invitation MAY have been good enough for him, he did not really want to take his chances. Like, security was tight, the guards would fire on anyone without an invitation. Honestly, Blink thought about trying to intimidate them to get in, but unfortunately he did not look intimidating enough. There was also the fact that he could not find any cool professional gloves that would make his passing easier.

Anyways, back to the awkwardness. Blink found himself having to hide in his compatriot's front pocket, Delano. This would also make him not to have to spend as much leg work. He poked two holes inside the pocket, so he would be able to see out of the pant, while being able to keep on guard. He was supposed to be doing a job for a noble or something, he wasn't sure, he just hoped that he would get to do some more fighting this time, not just end up running around like a happy go lucky dwarf. He was on his guard, ready to attack anyone that he thought would do him harm that he was not working for, bursting through their heel (and the pant leg) if it looked like they were going to hurt him.

When Eldritch got to the guards, and there was a a slight scuffle, with the guards pulling their guns out on Eldritch, the dwarf Blink internally prayed to himself that Eldritch would not fuck up this one task of just giving them a single form. He did not want to have to run away out of the shot up man's pocket, that did not sound like a fun venture. Luckily, the guard's mishap had been rectified, and they were alive. Once they were in, and they were in the area that anyone would assume that they had been let it legitimately, and out of the guard's eyesight, when there was nobody apparently looking, he slid out of the pant leg, ready for the job. His previous guard that he had when he was in the pant leg was still up, he was ready to kill some filthy peasants.

Once the initial checkpoint had been passed, security appeared to be a bit more lax. Though there were still more armed guards than Eldritch really thought would be necessary to hold back a peasant or two ending up where they weren't invited, they still didn't give off the paranoid vibe that those guards at the checkpoint did. There was something more to this entire situation, and he had a feeling that it had something to do with the job he was able to take part in. Something had these people people scared out of their minds, and the longer he walked through the town towards the estate in which this meeting would take place, he began to wonder if he'd regret taking this mission in the first place.

During the time in which Eldritch walked and the presence of the guards diminished, Blink finally decided to make his appearance. They were far enough from the checkpoint now that if guards were to see the Dwarf they wouldn't exactly feel that anything was wrong.

"So what do you think about this situation? They seem a bit jumpy, don't they?"

The questions he posed weren't exactly ones that needed to be answered if Blink didn't feel as though he had the answers, but it made Eldritch feel better when he was able to air out his apprehensions about a situation. Soon enough, the duo had finally reached the estate of the Noble the seal and letter belonged to. The brick walls surrounding the large estate stood at a height eleven feet tall, and though the high quality of their construction was evident, the presence of building materials that had yet to be moved off the property gave an indication that these walls had only been built recently. This coupled with the presence of so many armed guards made it entirely too obvious that there was an impending threat - something that warranted so much wouldn't be easy to take down.

"The pay better be worth it..."

Once Eldritch reached the front gates of the estate, he was met again with multiple guards. Already knowing the drill, Eldrich presented his letter. Luckily, the guards here appeared to be a bit more capable of immediately recognizing the seal of their employer than the previous group of guards had been, and allowed Eldritch entry onto the grounds. One of the guards escorted Eldritch inside and towards the conference area in which he'd been meeting his employers. Once there, they immediately demanded that he turn over and weapons he had before the Nobles would present themselves. This made the young assassin a bit nervous, but given the situation he knew that they wouldn't bother with all of this security and work if they simply planned on betraying him. If anything, this was more to do with his employer's peace of mind compared to stripping him of his weapons and making him defenseless. With a simple nod, Eldritch agreed to the pat down and the confiscation of his rifle and ammunition for the time being.

"You'll get these back as soon as the Lord finishes addressing you all."

Eldritch nodded once more, letting the guard know he understood. The man then walked out back towards the entrance, likely going back so he could escort the rest of those who had been hired into the same conference area Eldritch was now standing in. With nothing else to do now until things got started, Eldritch walked over to the long meeting table and took a seat at one of the nearby chairs.

Elisa DarkWalker
Once Elisa Darkwalker, had passed the initial estate guards, she would start to notice something extremely strange. The guards. the guards. the guards were so quiet, seemingly on red alert as if something had happened. Had Elisa's actions previously already been spread?. Impossible!. she would think this as she walked further into the nobles estate. Though more and more the silence started to bother her, itchy guards was a dangerous thing indeed, even in the most stable of establishments. Upon reaching the next layer of security, Elisa would be surrounded by 3 members of security, armed with rifles. "Please would you disarm yourself of all weaponry?" *Sigh*. *Elisa would place her hand upon her forehead, shaking it side to side [Facepalm].* "Do I look like I'm carrying any weapons?, like really; look, and look hard". Expecting to be molested simply because she was a woman. Her body tensed up as she prepared to engage for her dignity.

Two of the guards would bring her to one side, requesting Elisa forsake a series of steps before moving forward. "Can you please copy the actions i take, It will avoid us needing to search you physically". The guard would instruct Elisa to pat herself down, with some degree of force, while listening for an echo bouncing off any sort of metal, hard or suspected object, without discovering a single misplaced object. "Am I free to go?, here is my letter". The guard does a formal bow in respect, checking the seal in process. "Yes miss you may proceed". Surprised by the guards actions she returns the favor of respect, before continuing to proceed to the meeting place. "Wait!".Elisa is annoyed by the additional stop replying with a slight lifted tone."WHAT NOW!", "Please allow me to escort you to the conference". Her eyebrows lift-up in surprise. "Emm em sure". "Is this guy flirting, with me?", she thinks.

Thus Elisa Darkwalker would proceed to be escorted to the meeting table. Taking a seat four chairs down, from a pale guy seated before her. Taking a quick glance at him, from head to toe. "Greetings". She would sitdown with both her legs together, her hands relaxed on her waist and closing her eyes shut. allowing her ears to explore the area as she waited for events to transpire.

Taka,Treachery, Eye Scope

As he nonchalantly strolled up to the estate, Ondori's eyes were busy prancing upon what there was to see. It wasn't anything really fancy, but Ondori could estimate that these Nobles did have a nice sum of money that they could dish out to some random mercenaries for some dirty work. Whistling a light jazzy tune as he was coming upon the entrance he could smell the rain that was on the way as he inhaled in between tweeting. Stepping up to the guards to the entrance, he presented the letter that was still in hand. "Hope you guys brought some umbrellas, this rain doesn't look like it'll be too forgiving." He was ignored and the guards just stuck to their duties. "Working for Nobles plants a stick up your ass, note taken." His eyelids lowered to create an unenthused look as he was permitted entry and a guard lead the way to outside the conference room.

Asked to turn over his weapons, he removed both his swords from his left hip and then as the guard patted him down his Eye Scope was found. "What's this?!" The guard seemed rather astonished and unweary with his discovery. "Oh it's just a little gadget I made, se-" Ondori's weapons being propped up against the wall, the rifle on the guards back was grasped quickly and held level with Ondori's head. "Stop talking!" With that command Ondori stopped talking and raised his hands up with a sigh. "It doesn't do an-" "Stop talking I said! Now slowly grab the item with your left hand and present it to me." "Last time I forget I have something like this on me." Slowly he reached his left hand inside the pocket sewn in the inside of his shirt and he held the Eye Scope out for the man to see, his palm facing the ceiling and the gadget resting gently in his palm. The guard's eye flickering to Ondori's, the Ronin easily assessed the guy was nervous as hell. Back and forth his optics flickered, before he quickly removed his hand that was steadying the rifle to Ondori's palm to grab the Eye Scope then shoved it in his pocket and put the hand back on the rifle to steady it. "Anything else I should know about before we finish the search?" "Nah, that should be everything I hope heheh." The guard slowly rotated the rifle back to his back and continued the search to find nothing else. "Alright, you'll get these back after the meeting." "Yeah, uhhh, just be careful with that little thingy in your pocket kay." With that Ondori entered the conference room to see people had already arrived before him and possibly heard the little altercation with the guard. "That's a nice way to start the day." He said to no one in particular as he pulled back a random chair and took a seat near none of the other people in the room.

Sitting down he's shamelessly examine the others that were hired, not really caring to avert his gaze should it be met only when he was done assessing each individual which wouldn't take long, well maybe for the little guy if he made his physical presence known, Ondori would surely stare a bit longer than he should given it'd be his first time seeing a Dwarf. "I bet their poops are so tiny." He would think to himself, not noticeably holding back his chuckle from the thought.
