Honora.
The Songstress
Honora would not bore her friends plus the archer with the details of her miraculous escape from the three that had chased her down. She didn’t want to talk about it after all. She pretty sure she had killed one with a club to the head. The one who found himself impaled on her halberd was dead without a shadow of a doubt. The last one that had chased her found himself out cold for she couldn’t bring herself to kill him - she had had enough killing for the day - and her group would be long gone by time he awoke from his slumber.

She was relieved to find Elizabeth in one piece if not a little injured - her face was swollen after all. Yet, she could not begin to grasp the psychological damage done to her female companion, she wasn’t looking for that and even if she had been, she had her own psyche to deal with after the events of the day. The mysterious archer that had assisted them was also with Elizabeth and she didn’t look too bad. Just a bruise here and there that would heal in a couple days.

Loki seemed just fine compared to the rest of them. Not a scratch on him from what she could see and she was happy. It meant he handled himself much better than they had. With everyone back together with an additional person and her assessment of their conditions done, her mind would switch to questioning Loki with what the hell he and Elizabeth were doing. She was, after all, unaware of the task they had started and just a little furious that she had been left out of the loop, though her calm demeanor and leveled voice betrayed that.

Of course, she would shut her mouth the moment Loki began to explain himself. She didn’t like it one bit, but at least she knew what was going on now. She wasn’t as mad at him as she normally would have been since this did allow her to see the holes in her technique. She would, without a doubt, need to train longer and harder in order to fix such holes.

So, with the information gathered, the trio would leave the forest with the archer.

Diana Jaeger

To say that Diana had lost would be an understatement and one that would require a much deserved ‘duh’. She was, after all, pinned to the ground by her chaser, his hands wrapped around his throat and his eyes, full of fury, burned into hers. He was probably mad about the stab wound she had given him thanks to a well placed arrow. Strength definitely won over speed and agility in this instance and as she made a desperate attempt to loosen his hands, she found herself wishing she had gotten that knife like her mother told her to. Alas, she had thought a good hiding spot and her weapon of choice would be enough. She was terribly mistaken and she was learning that now.

She promised herself that she would invest in a knife if she survived this, but the chances of that was low since all she could do was flail her limbs and make pathetic noises. He was simply to heavy to shove off and she knew it was futile, but she tried anyways. She was never one to give up, after all, and she wouldn’t start now. She would fight until her body decided that it would shut down and hand her over to the lord of death.

Luckily for her, Fate had decided that it was not yet her time to go and so, by some chance, she was saved. A snap of a twig had grabbed the man’s attention, his grip loosening and though she couldn’t breath as well as she wanted to, it was much better than it had been. Bang! The familiar sound of a gun being fired rang through her ears and never was she so thankful for one until now - usually that sound was associated with someone shooting at her.

The body of the now deceased man slumped forward, crushing the petite girl underneath his weight and causing her to panic if only a little bit. Of course, this time she was able to get out from underneath him, wiggling herself free. With no one on top of her and her airways unrestricted, she gulped down air greedily for a solid minute or so, only becoming aware of the green-haired lady afterwards. She advanced towards the woman, a little shaky and slumped next to her. There they would sit in silence for two minutes, maybe three before Diana decided that getting her back to her friends would be a good idea.

That there took a good minute or two to do, the woman seemingly lost in her own thoughts, but she managed it. The duo would come across the girl that wielded a halberd and then the blond boy. Words were exchanged and, without really thinking about it, Diana agreed to the blond boy’s offer.

Elizabeth

She didn't know how long she had been staring off into space. She didn't know how long she watched those horrid pictures switch out in her mind. However, a voice would slowly pull her from her own thoughts. Purple eyes would stare at the young bow girl as she helped Elizabeth get back into reality. Soon enough, the two were walking towards the duo that had been left behind. Elizabeth had draped her gun over her back again. The woman was glad that Honora had taken it upon herself to ask questions about their task to Loki because her mind would be elsewhere. The purple eyed female would continue to stare off into space until she felt unnecessary. At this point, she would simply walk away with no word.

Elizabeth would watch as the pictures flooded into her mind once more. At one point, the cowgirl had managed to almost walk into a tree on her way out of the forest. What was happening to her? She had to do something. She couldn't stand seeing the pictures. So during her crisis, Elizabeth decided she would go to the one place she could think of that may possibly bring her the slightest bit of happiness. The pirate would find her way into the one bar closest to the forest's exit. She would take a seat at the bar and order the strongest drink they could serve her. She would lay her head on the bar as she drank and struggle to keep tears from escaping her eyes.

Honora.
The Songstress
The walk back to the village, town, whatever, was a quiet one or at least it would’ve been quiet if not for the archer, who kindly introduced herself in the most annoying way possible may she add. Honestly, the kid, well teen, wouldn’t shut up and didn’t seem capable of doing so. It wouldn’t have been as annoying and she probably wouldn’t have minded as much if Diana wasn’t so adamant on using third person nouns. It felt like she was doing it on purpose, as if she felt the need to remind people of her name and decided that using it in place of ‘I’ would ensure just that. There was also the thought that Diana simply couldn’t help herself. Whatever the reason behind it, Honora found herself too tired to correct and/or lecture the girl and so, she left it alone. Yet she was unable to mask her displeasure.

Either way, they would arrive back in town with the new addition to their party in tow. Their arrival seemed to shut her up, much to Honora’s relief, but keeping an eye on a clearly fascinated teen that seemed to have quickly forgotten the horrors of the day was more annoying. Sure, the teen wasn’t her responsibility per se, but she rather Diana not run off somewhere they could never find her and her two companions definitely weren’t to be trust to keep an eye on her - not with their history of frequenting bars and getting into fights.

She announced to her companions that she would keep an eye on Diana before leaving them to do their own thing. Honora would drag Diana to the inn she called home and once secured in her room, she would collapse on the bed. If Diana decided to be rowdy, Honora would not notice for sleep claimed her as soon as she hit the bed.

Loki

The had got together to talk about what had happened. Everybody was a little taken aback by what had just occurred. Aside from himself he didn't think the rest of them had quite come to terms with the fact that they just killed a number of people. Perhaps Loki had dulled himself to the fact or maybe he was just a cold blooded killer at this point but he was slowly getting used to what he had to do. Don't take it the wrong way though, Loki took no pleasure in taking another man's life but sometimes it came down to a life or death situation and Loki was going to choose his own over their's every time. That being said if he could avoid killing he would, but that just simply wasn't the case this time. The party made their way back to town as a group, the walk back was fairly quiet as everybody's mind no doubt mulled over the experience.

Eventually they all hit their crossroads and went their separate ways for the time being. They would meet back up to go find Jeff but until then they needed a break. He saw Elizabeth head off in the direction of a bar and Honora and Diana went off in a direction he could only assume pointed towards the nearest inn. Loki was heading towards his own little room as he desperately needed a shower. His hands, daggers and shirt were covered in plenty of dried blood and the idea of basking in it any longer wasn't amusing. Loki made to his room and spent an abnormal amount of time under a hot shower before dressing himself in some clean clothes and washing his weapons. His next stop would be the closest bar as he desperately needed a drink.

Diana Jaeger

Before Diana left the clearing with the group of three, she retrieved what had been her meal. She had every intentions of finishing it, after all, and she wasn’t the type of person to waste a well cooked meal - especially if she took the time to do it. Once that was retrieved she would follow the trio. She talked the whole way despite the silence that reigned over the other three. It was the best way to keep her mind from straying towards certain events, after all, and she didn’t care if no one responded to her. She was use to being alone by now and that meant she had spent plenty of time hearing her own voice.

Upon hitting the town, her mouth would shut and her mind would turn to the array of buildings. She hadn’t actually visited the town, she preferred the forest, and so, she was easily fascinated by the various things that could be behold and touched. She separated from the group first without a simple goodbye, having become fixated on a shiny trinket one of the various vendors were selling.

Sadly, she would be dragged away from the trinket by Honora. She was surprisingly strong despite her petite fram and so, Diana found herself simply allowing herself to be dragged to wherever the dark-haired teen wished to take her. They would arrive at a quaint building advertised as an inn and she would be dragged to the room Honora obviously called home. She, Honora, would sleep the moment she laid on the bed and since there wasn’t much to do, she decided that she would sleep too.
