Today obviously seemed like such a great day. The sun was blaring on Brian’s head, and the ocean drifted under his small raft. He loved days like these; days where he could just sit back and examine every single beauty nature has bestowed upon us. Brian is a fairly rational person, and only believes things that can be proven in front of him. He knew that nature was just so beautiful and he couldn’t deny that.

As his raft slowly moved to the shore, he smiled and began to get ready to link it to the shore of the first island. Las Camp’s series of islands each had its own wonder which Brian expected to explore. He believed he might get a bit of adventure if he trained a bit. After all, he hadn’t trained since he left his hometown; which was a long time ago. Once his raft hit the shore, Brian jumped off and dragged it into the beach. He decided to leave it there, as he moved towards the middle of the first island. Nobody would even bother to steal his shitty raft after all.

Once he reached the, supposedly, middle of the island, Brian clomped onto the ground and began to go about how he would organize these training sessions. When Brian trained, he trained for multiple times at once. He moved to a nearby tree, broke a fairly long branch, and brought it back to his camp-site. He smiled as he began to write on the dirt, as well as narrate his actions.

“Ok, so today is Saturday. At least I think so? Well, I’ll spend 1 day on the first, then another on the second, then another, and one last one; which would mean 4 or 5 days of full-on training. That’s going to be fun, and I’d better get to fixing up the camp for now.”

After the end of his words, Brian got up and walked around the fairly small island to scavenger for items. Las Camp was pretty sunny all the time, so he didn’t have to worry about the rain. He gather so many leaves, he felt like he was going to make something gigantic. He also gathered some flint, logs, and other stuff that he could use. It was early in the morning so he still had a long day ahead of him.

When Brian returned to his camp-site he began to setup his area. He used the leaves to build a make-do bed, the logs and flint to make a campfire for later on tonight. As he sat down to rest for a bit, he brought out his gun and decided this would be an appropriate time to play with it.

Brian didn’t even realize what he was wearing while he was playing a bit with his favorite flintlock gun.  He was wearing the usual, his military gear and his gloves. Most people saw this thing Brian always does, which was to remove his gloves with his teeth. It was just a bad habit, and it was too late now to change it. He smiled as he got up and stared at 10 trees aligned perfectly, side by side. He loved when nature made his shooting area for him.

He filled his gun with pellets, which he always had just for these type of special cases.  Brian cocked it, moved his focus to the first tree, and aimed at its middle point. He decided to go for a quick speed run, as he shot the first one and simultaneously began to run to the left; where all the trees were. While running, he would shoot the trees, getting every single shot on target. It was just so much fun, especially when it was a speed run. Brian believed that in most life or death situations, a marksman would not have enough time to take it so slowly. Reloading, cocking, aiming should be done in a matter of mere seconds; to increase ones odds in victory.

Brian smiled as he removed his shirt. It was getting fairly hot, and Brian couldn’t take any more of it. He then removed his pants, revealing his boxer briefs. He placed them both beside his make-do leaf bed. He also removed his socks, shoes, and gloves placing them besides his other clothing. He decided that he would go out on a swim. After all, swimming with cool him down and get him to increase his stamina greatly. Brian knew all about training, it was all that he would do at home.

While he walked over to the beach, he began to think about how his parents were doing. He hadn’t seen them in months, nor did he hear from them. Once he announced he was going to be on neither 3 sides, Pirates, Revolutionaries, or Marines, his parents were furious; mostly since they wanted him on their side of authority and justice. Brian believed most Marines were the same, yet he has met only his parent’s friends so he didn’t know much. When it came to the world, Brian has yet to experience much or even learn many things.

He reached the beach and began to run towards the cool and beautiful ocean shore. Nature never ceased to amaze him. His love for the water and the beach would never diminish, it was just too strong. Brian began to swim around, not going too far in the water. He started to jump in and out of the water, breathing in when he was out, and holding his breath when he was in. He always still had that small childish part of him still alive.

After Brian swam, he realized it was fairly late. He had been training for pretty much all day, and it was time to go to bed.  He clomped himself onto the rough leaf bed and instantly began to snore.  The day wasn’t that bad after all, it was actually fairly fun. He had a great time training alone, and was looking forward to doing the same thing tomorrow.

The next day, Brian woke up as the sun rose and began to stretch. He smiled and stood up from his small make-do bed.  He began to pick up his bed, bags, and guns, getting ready to leave the island. He held it all on his back and began to walk towards the shore again. While walking, he began to think about what he would do on the next island.

“Hmm… I’ll most likely take a run around the beach once I arrive, and then do some more gun training. Sounds good to me.” He smiled as he reached the shore and saw his raft lying there. He knew nobody would’ve stolen that piece of crap anyways, and he was right. He loaded it, and pushed it into the sea.  Brian rapidly ran to it, and hopped on it, getting ready to go to the next island.

About an hour later, his raft drifted into the next island. He picked up his items, and jumped off the raft. He placed his items on the beach, and pulled the raft back into the island. He smiled as he left his shitty boat on the shore again, picked his stuff up and began to walk to the middle of the island. As he walked he noticed how the terrain was fairly similar in both islands. Even though Las Camp was an archipelago, the islands didn’t differ much.

Once he reached the middle, he unpacked his stuff, and setup his camp. It was mid-day and he decided that it would be best if he got to training soon, but not just yet. He placed his leaf make-do bed on the ground and began to think about how he slept last night. Most of the time, Brian slept like a baby whether or not he was sleeping on something comfortable or not. His muscles were already so stiff, he couldn’t even feel whether or not the bed even was nice to sleep on. He smiled and went around the island to scavenger for some logs and flint. He kept looking around, finding logs but barely finding enough flint. Brian shrugged and returned to his camp, trying to keep everything positive he thought about how he would be training soon anyways.

Brian smiled as he reached his camp-site again; he knew it was time to train. He removed his shirt and placed it on his leaf bed. His run would be on the shore, mostly since the beach is the best and the most relaxing place to run. He took off his shoes, his socks, and began to walk towards the shore of the island.

While walking, he couldn’t help but look around and claim how beautiful this island was as well. The sun stared down at Brian’s blonde hair, as he lifted it over his face. He loved to slick his hair back; it was the only way for it not to annoy him; without cutting it. As he got closer to the island’s end, he began to hear the ocean’s tide shifting.

He grinned when he finally reached the shore, as he felt the hot sand between his toes. It didn’t just feel good, it felt great. Brian smiled and began to warm his body up with some warm ups. A few jumping jacks, and some stretching exercises; just for him to get ready for the long run he was about to take.

Brian laughed and began to jog on the beach. He kept pushing himself, not allowing himself to stop. A few hours later, he realized that he was back where he started. He had run around the whole island, and was back at his main position. He smiled, as he wiped the sweat off of his face. Running was one of the best ways to clear a person’s mind. Brian didn’t even feel the amount of running he had done, he felt fine really.

After his running session, he walked towards his camp-site to pick his stuff up again. Once he reached it, he wore his shirt again and his sock and shoes, then picked his gun up and began to aim at some friendly cows that were in the plains about 30m away. Brian had already had some training pellets in his gun from the other day, so he quickly shot the first, then moved to the second, then the third, fourth, fifth, and finally ended with the sixth. He shot all 6 of the cows in a matter of seconds, he enjoyed the way he used his marksmanship. An effective and quick marksman was the only marksman needed in the blues.

Once he finished his gun training, he picked up all his pellets, reloaded his gun, and sat down on his make-do bed.  It was a fairly long time since Brian had checked any news, and he had no way of knowing what was going on in the world at the moment.  To be honest, he would like to know what happened but it wasn’t a necessity. All of the things Brian had to have he already had, clothes, and a gun. He had gathered a few apples earlier and began to chomp on some of them. Brian didn’t need to eat much to be full; it was just something that he was born with.  On that note, he began to drift to sleep and fell on his bed and began to snore.

The next day, Brian woke up his head throbbing from all that sleeping on the ground/ his leafy make-do bed. While his body didn’t feel much, his head did and he hurt a lot. It was painful, but nothing he couldn’t endure. His headache made him wake up fairly early, and he was still a bit tired; but sleeping any longer wasn’t going to help anyone so he stood up and began to get ready for his final day of training. Since he had a bit of spare time on his hands, he decided to build what he needed for the past days. While walking towards the beach the other day, he saw some palm trees which held coconuts in them. Brian smiled and said,

“Great idea Brian, coconut husk rope would be a great way to make a hammock. Props to you and your excellent brain.” He laughed and made his way to the shore of the island, where the Palm trees were. Once he reached them, he began to smack their trunks in order to get the coconuts to fall.  As one began to fall, he realized it was about to fall on his head and he jumped out of the way. There was no way to make his headache worse than have a coconut fall on him.

The coconut fell and he was out of the way, yet he needed much more than one so he decided to find a quick way to get the palm tree to fall. Brian began to look around until he saw a large bull. He smiled when he realized that he was wearing red boxer briefs after all. He removed his pants, revealing his underwear and called the bull. Not only did the bull stare at him, but it began to puff from its nose clearly showing it’s rage and that it was about to charge at Brian. He smiled as he saw the bull beginning to run at him. He was prepared for this, and was ready to evade the bull at the right moment. Palm trees were fairly sturdy, and he knew this one would knock the bull out cold.

Once the bull was about the touch Brian, he jumped out of the way with such speed and ease the bull couldn’t even touch him. On the ground, Brian looked up and saw the palm tree on the brink of falling over and the bull lying there knocked out cold. He wore his pants and gave the tree a final shove just to make it fall. He pushed it on the side the bull was knocked out on, just to make sure it was dead. He knew he could’ve left it there knocked up, but he wanted to kill it. He just felt like it. The tree fell on top of the bull with such force he felt it in his knees.  He looked at the dead bull, then back at the coconuts, which were his initial reason for being here. He picked them up and walked back towards his camp-site, getting ready to build his own hammock.

Once Brian made his way to the camp-site he decided to stay on this island for the rest of the day then end his training all together. He was getting fairly bored, and Brian never wanted to be bored. Brian needed adventure, and the East Blue just didn’t have that for him. While thinking on his way back, he had heard from his parents that there were a bunch of Pirates and Marines in the South. That was a bit of a time ago, but he was sure that it was still the same. He could tag along with some of them and have a bit of fun while with them.

As he reached his camp-site, he began to handcraft the rope from the coconuts he had brought earlier. Not only was it difficult but it was just so annoying as well. He had to remove every single husk, and then tie them all together. It was tedious work, but it allowed him to think hard on things that deserved his thoughts. He thought about how his parents were doing, and what they thought about him since he didn’t even say goodbye to them. He thought about if he became a pirate how it would feel it they chased him.  He thought about how they would feel if they saw his name on a bounty poster. Brian had pondered the fact about being a pirate; it was fairly fun and gave a lot of adventures unlike the Marine life. He saw what his parents went through and it was fun or interesting at all.

After an hour or so, he finally finished his hammock. He felt like it was impressing, after all he built it on an island with limited resources. Brian smiled and placed it on the ground. As he picked up his rifle, he realized he barely did any practice today. He looked around to find anything he could shoot with his training pellets. He then saw a group of rabbits running around in the plains of the island. Not only would they be a hard target, due to their rapid moving, but they would also be a great prize for Brian. He grabbed his rifle, and rested on his stomach; being in a normal sniper’s pose. He began to slowly breathe in and out as he placed his eye on the scope. As his hands began to move based on the rabbits movements, he released his first training bullet. This hit the rabbit straight in the eye, blinding it and making it fall on the ground. Brian then moved onto the second rabbit, as he began to slowly breathe again. Breathing helped him calm down as well as focus on what he was shooting.  His temple began to sweat as he followed the rabbits every movement. His finger then pulled on the trigger releasing the pellet hitting the rabbit in the face. The rabbit then fell and slowly died. They had both died, and Brian grinned as they gave their final breathes.

He stood up, and walked towards the rabbits, picked them up and walked back to his camp-site. It was just so much fun hunting animals. Yet, hunting humans was a hundred times better. He fixed his hammock, and jumped on it ready to go to bed. He knew that this was his last night here, so he decided to sleep well was the best thing he could do.
