to discover true freedom.
"And my eyes stayed firmly grasped on the goddess. Her silk pattern-" the inner minuscule monologue of Zeke's reading was stopped short by the sound of the revolutionary's dropping anchor in Logue Town. Money, weapons, traveling supplies and more importantly Log Posts are all possible items Zeke needs to acquire before leaving the island. His thoughts were interrupted by the Captain of the ship knocking on the cabin door, in which he laid half dressed in boxer shorts and an opened white dress shirts with several buttons scaling upwards for the fabric's tight fit. "Thanks again... If it weren't for you, my crew would've been stranded at sea for days. We've always ad' a problem wid keeping Navi's around these parts." the Captain would say in his broken, southern blue accent. "I'd love to stay' on wid ya' but I have some business to attend to in 'little port'" Zeke said, code switching from his usual, prim and proper pattern to accommodate the Captain. "I see ya' familiar with the slang' eh boyo. This be no little port though. Logue Town is the hub for all hot shots loking' to make a name for themselves, better be wary." the Captain concluded, shuffling around his jacket for a pipe. "Believe me, I'll be fine old man." Zeke said switching back to standard English, picking himself up and smiling in a friendly manner towards the Captain. "Despite my scrawny frame... I'm actually pretty nifty with a sword, Rishishi..." Zeke said, picking himself up to get dressed for the adventure ahead in town. "Not gonna' say goodbye to Kempt?" the Captain asked. "He's helped me more than enough in these last few years... I'd rather say nice to see him again next time we meet." Zeke concluded.

"Bring us some more fucking sweets bitch!" the mercenary, Mur screamed gobbling a bottle of tea, flavored as rice wine."This isn't even a bar anyway..." one of the waitresses of the Taka Tea & Sweats Shop whispered under her breath. Mur hopped to his feet from his chair, which was suspended on two chair legs to walk over to the girl. Hiccuping, Mur picked the waitress up by her hair and his hot boozy breath abruptly screwed with her sense of smell and her lunch. "What was that bitch!?" the man shouted. "Do you know who our boss is, huh!? Bring us more tea! More snacks! Hell if I wanted, bring us your ass back here half dressed." the man said, licking the woman's neck with his weevil of a tongue. "That's more than enough Reputed Customer." Taka shouted sternly. Dropping the waitress, who then scuttled off to the kitchen, the boss of the Tea Shop, Taka appeared before the mercenaries, with the brightest smile possible that it would take to suppress her scowling lip. Mur walked over to Taka, as he was about to reach his hand out to touch the woman, the sound of a rice wine gourd hitting his head, knocked the man out. The remainder three mercenaries began to cackle, as the leader of the pack, Ribon stopped Mur. "I apologize missy. He doesn't get much eh... As the former cage for our little birdie, he should treat you with more respect. Afterall, once L.A. Richards is dead... We'll all be filthy stinking rich bastards who could pay for all the snacks in this store." the man said proudly. Pointing towards her lower regions, "Any kind of snack." the man said winking. "Pigs." Taka shouted, rushing to check on the harassed waitress. "Call me what you want babe. Once you call me at all. Yahahaha... Men Drink Up! Rice Wine Tea's on me!" Ribon shouted. "All in the name of our boss, Big B!" Ribon shouted, plopping back into his chair.

"100,000 Beli for that blade." the merchant argued, scratching his head. "Look. I've been looking through selections all day... I do agree, yours are some of the best I found but I'm not paying that much for a blade of this caliber." Zeke said sighing, using his top hat to fan himself from the hot and humid climates. "How about 85,000?" Zeke said grinning. "IT'S ALL READY ON SPECIAL FOR 100,000, this blade is worth at least 250,000 Beli! This blade is known as the Golden Lion-" the man began to rant. Zeke left the 100,000 on the table and walked away during the man's speech. "Thanks. I think I'll call this, Beak. Irony is, it's fairly long. Rishishi" Zeke exclaimed. .

~Tick, tick, tick, tick~  The repetition of the grandfather clocks arm movements were surprisingly loud enough for all to hear at the Raging Boar Tavern. Which was even more odd as this was a god damn bar that was quite packed to the brim, the venue itself was silent. The silence would end as murmurs would begin to ensue. "Robs shop got held up yesterday didn't it? Those fucker pirates, there's literally nothing we can do, where are those dick stain monkeys from the Navy when you need em'." The crowd within the bar would remain silent in fear of an eavesdropper. For that's all it took, one tiny piece of information given out and they would be robbed and beaten. But as a deep chill filled the air, an abrupt sound would break the ice.

"Yo chubby, your finest whiskey on the rocks." The attention of the bar would be drawn onto the man who had spoken, as they panned his body noticing his bizarre tattoos and unusual eyes. Without a moments notice the slightly obese bartender would grasp an empty glass and pour the golden brown spirit into a bed of ice before sliding it across the counter toward the awkward man. The glass would glide perfectly across the table before stopping directly into his hand, raising it above his mouth, his crimson hued lenses would glare at the glass as shook it gently, allowing it to swirl clockwise. "As for my payment..... the dip shits to my left will cover me, wont'cha........?" The man would say as he felt quite well, impatient with the whole ordeal. However the men to his left were not too pleased. "You're that Zee Low prick aren't you?" Within the instant their last syllables left their lips, they would gather around Xylo, their beady eyes glaring at him whilst cracking their knuckles in preparation for his answer. "Oh? I guess intimidation is key with you lads. However, I'm just here to drink and piss off, just cover my tab before i break things." Xylo replied as he tipped the glass affront him, allowing its content to rain into his mouth. An unusual way of doing things, however this was simply his style. However, his time of leisure would not continue.

Clouds of dust would erupt from the ground as Xylo's body was flung across the front of the Raging Boar. A light brown tinge would begin to form across his black clothes as he pulled himself up and dusted himself off. "Bastards." He chanted softly as he stretched raising both arms diagonally on either side of him. His neck would loosen allowing his head to gaze upon the sun, noticing the time of day, he would then decide to go get some food. Making his way toward idle buildings and lines of market stalls, a beam of light would blind him from his right, catching his attention he would gaze upon this source, only to see it was the reflection of the sun from a sword being grasped by a slender man in a black overcoat. With quite the bizarre apparel for this kind of weather, Xylo would shrug as he gazed upon the man. What could that weasel do with a sword like that? Such a waste for a good looking sword. Xylo pondered as he refocused and continued his walk through the street.

His hands would raise to his mouth as he lit a cigarette and placed it within his lips before inhaling. His crimson gaze would meet the eyes of attractive women, however it was not as you would think, for their eyes showed fear, as Xylo's appearance wasn't appealing in the slightest. However he didn't care as he roamed only to hear yelling to his side. Curious as to what the commotion was about, he would slowly make his way directly in front of the entrance of the store. "Take Tea and Sweets Shop. Pathetic." Xylo remarked as he gazed upon the store which only grew one of his deepest hates. You see there was something that was in every product of theirs that Xylo disapproved of completely, this being, sugar. So hearing commotion in a building that sold demon candy (in Xylo's terms) was great news for Xylo, as he literally hoped the place would burn, however he would simply lean against the wall of the sweets shop and eavesdrop on the conversations at hand.

Content with his new muse, Beak, as he was now set on the blades name, Zeke walked down the market district in thinking of a way which he could strap the blade to his belt. "Damn.. Should've purchased a sword belt... It's not heavy but it's a pain to lug this around-" Zeke concluded as his eyes made contact with the oddly tattooed ridden man. "Interesting... You see all types on these seas eh?" Zeke thought, shooting a grin at the man whose face seem pretty fixated on his blade for a short moment. " After all, once L.A. Richards is dead... We'll all be filthy stinking rich bastards-" Ribon shouted as Zeke walked in slowly taking in the sights of Logue Town's two story wooden infrastructures. Zeke's motion came to an abrupt stop as the words trickled into Zeke's sonic range. With one of his feet still lifted in mid-air, mid-step, Zeke's body turned 180 degrees towards the entrance of the Tea Shop, pulling open the curtains that acted as the shop's entry point. There was exactly ten meters between Zeke and the mercenary Ribon. The abrupt entrance, combined with the fact that Zeke had his sword in his hand, made the mercenaries grasp for their weapons. "Can I help you?" Ribon asked, looking at Zeke grinning, as he chugged down the rice wine flavored tea. "I heard you say something about L.A. Richards... How about I buy you a drink? I'm interested in her whereabouts." Zeke inquired.

"Who the hell is this punk?" Ribon questioned himself. "My boss doesn't like me giving out information about our targets... Sorry. You look like a pretty boy though, you could score some much better couch than wench, trust me. She's bad news brother." Ribon said laughing. "Oh." Zeke said, frowning slightly. Ribon's merry attire dimmed slightly, "What's with the fucking look on your face... Smile. Like I said, L.A. Richards is a demon bitch who needs killing. All of those Ohara scum deserve it anyway." Ribon said, slightly annoyed that Zeke was no longer smiling with him. Actually, the severity of his scowl, left an impression on Ribon's soul. "I'll give you three seconds to take that stupid mood killer off your face. 1..." Ribon began to count with a muscle pulsating from his temple. "Unfortunately... L.A. Richards is a woman I'll need for course of action I have planned." Zeke said. "2..." Ribon adamantly counted. As he progressed the number sequence, the mercenaries cocked their flintlocks to the tune of Ribon's counting, with grins confidently set on Zeke's death.

The sound of the chambers of the flintlocks being primed have already been set. "Oh dear... Seems I've offended them. I'll have to make sure to hold back... I need them alive." Zeke thought as his star like eyes glimmered a dark aura. Focusing his mind, Zeke began to hum lowly, his eyes became trance like concentrating much more closely on his breathing. "3!" Ribon shouted, pulling out the pistol from his sleeve, cocking his flintlcok and firing one round towards Zeke's chest. Tilting his body slightly, Zeke allowed the bullet to make contact with his shoulder. His body fell backwards from the force of the shot, onto the floor. The pain rung through his body but he was almost in the deepest possible trance due to his Divine Breathing patterns. As he hit the floor, Zeke's body began to create a small puddle of blood from the open wound in his shoulder. Zoning deeper and deeper, Zeke had completed thirty percent Perfect Respiration. With his hand firmly grasped to his beak, the bandits thought the man was dead from the crooked shot.

A deep sigh would escape his lips, as the rowdy mercenaries within the sweets store continued with their antics. Xylo would continue smoking whilst listening in on their conversation, until the man he had seen previously would stop a few meters from Xylo, and twist his body toward the store and walk toward it. I wonder.. If he can even hear these assholes breaking shit. Leaning against the wooden beam, his crimson gaze would keep fixated on the gentleman walking into the store. Noticing him being inquisitive, it would seem the whole matter stemmed from his accidental eavesdrop. His left hand would raise to the top of his crown before flicking backward, allowing his fingers to weave through each follicle atop his head. Continuing to gaze, he would notice the overall dynamic of the conversation would swiftly turn after hearing the answer to the lad in the black coats question being ignored. "L....A.....Richards?" It wasn't a name he knew, however he was eager to find out more, for if this could lead to a high bounty then Xylo would be stranded in this shitty island.

Continuing to the antics of the people before him, Xylo couldn't help but notice the aggressors begin to lash out, talking about a 'demon bitch.' The whole conversation was absurd, however Xylo felt like he might actually see the newly bought sword put into action. However Xylo really couldn't see that man do anything, especially due to the fact that it were 5 on 1. The odds were against the man in black, however Xylo truly loved the underdog, so deep down he eagerly wanted the fight to end with the man in black on top. Remaining cool and keeping his composure, Xylo would slowly walk to the entrance, with each step he took being made at each number Ribon declared. It would seem like either parties weren't going to step down, however five on one was incredibly stupid, and if you walk in the lions den, expect to be mauled. Within an instant of his third step, his eyes would fixate on the scenario at hand, noticing the man had looked like he somewhat, fallen asleep. This may have been by far the oddest thing Xylo had seen in a long while, however he would continue to watch as a flintlock would rip out from Ribons jacket and fire onto the black coated man. It was here where Xylo was fully intrigued, as the bullet made its way toward the mans chest, his body would mysteriously move, awkwardly, which in turn would keep his vitals from being struck as the fired round entered his shoulder.

It was truly bizarre, as Xylo watched the man fall to his back, whilst his crimson gaze would notice the blood trickling across the floor. "Oh silly me, to think this man could take on five." Xylo would raise his cigarette to his mouth, allowing it to sit comfortably within two pressed lips before walking into the store. Both his hands would sit within the cotton confines either side of his pants, whilst his gaze would meet those of the shooters and the like. However Xylo would be stopped in his tracks when the pistol was now aimed at him. Xylos eyes would quickly flick toward his right at he noticed the man laying across the ground, however there was some anomolies that needed explaining. Usually a shot like that wouldn't incapacitate someone, but the fact that this man looked to be sleeping before he was shot, it would seem like he may simply be unphased to the pain. Maybe nullified pain receptors or nerve damage in the past? Or perhaps something i don't know off. Interesting. He thought as his gaze flicked back toward the group of mercenaries. "I apologize for intruding, however I am a doctor, and it is my nature to help this man, if you don't want me to tend to his wounds, at least let me clear him from the store so that you turds can enjoy the rest of your day." Turds. His habit of calling people demeaning nouns had slipped, and it would seem the aim was at him, however Xylo knew too well that the pistol that had fired was a flintlock which required a reload to be used again.

"Boys, off with him too." A lone mercenary would briskly walk up to Xylo, before winding his arm backward in preparation of a right hook, and in an instant, the punch would be thrown aiming for Xylo's chin. However, the chin would be intercepted by Xylo's right hand as he caught the fist. "Too slow." His crimson gaze would glare into the agitated grunt. Xylo would keep his cool as he continued to gaze upon the mercenary before him until the edge of a rifle handle would come to view in his peripherals, swaying backward, another mercenary had used Xylo's blind spot to flank him, Xylo not being well prepared would be struck by the weapon, and thus tumble backward outside the store thus letting go of the mans fist. Once again being flung onto the ground, his body would lift itself up, noticing the two grunts he had engaged with were outside with him. His head would feel hazy as he began to enjoy his new wound atop his crown. Adrenaline would pump through his body as he became eager to let loose. And then it happened, something that only happens when blood is in the air; Xylo grinned.

Drawing Beak from it's sheath, the flint from the blade had no time to blind the mercenary, standing above his body. The Kuro Neko Crow's claw seeped deeply into the mercenary next to Ribon's abdomen. The monsters minion's crimson elixir dripped passionately on the crow's beak. Returning to his feet, Zeke breathed outwards, maintaining his precision breathing as he spoke. "How about it, where is L.A. Richards?" Zeke asked. "You beat one of my men and you think you're a hotshot eh..." Ribon declared. "I'll be your opponent brat." Ribon said with a stern expression. However, with one slight movement, Ribon dashed towards Taka, placing his flintlock to the woman's temple.

"Bastard." Zeke exclaimed. "Now I have some questions to ask you... Who sent you here... Was it another contractor trying to steal our mark? If so, you are too soft to be in this business, Mr.Blackhat." Ribon said cackling as Zeke's hands was still firmly on his weapon waiting for an opening. "L.A. Richards is lineage to the survivors from the Ohara incident almost centuries ago. The world Government pay top dollar for their off spring. We don't ask questions, they just pay. She's the last of her name, and once she's been executed, we'll be moving onto bigger marks in the Grandline." Ribon said grinning. "To kill a man for his name, is to curse a man for the sins of his ancestors. That, in essence is the true sin of man." Zeke said sternly with a glimmer in his eye. "I've had enough of this..." Ribon said scratching his head and in that moment, Zeke's motion closed the distance between him an the man, cutting the arm that held the flintlock onto the floor. Placing the blade by Ribon's neck, Zeke smiled lightly.

"That quote was taken from a book called 'The Quest Of The Conquistadors', it's a book written by a pirate turned author after the First Pirate War. He struggled with raising a child in a world where he'd be condemned for his past as a pirate. Looking at his child's innocence, he looked at his tranquil face and wept, inscribing these words." Zeke said. "Fuck.. My hand!" Ribon screamed. "Now. Where is L.A. Richards? or is losing your life over a demon woman your final life goal?" Zeke concluded. "Fine! She's in the marines care goddammit! There camping outside the Mayor's manner!" Ribon shouted cringing in pain, wiping the blade off his blade, Zeke sheathed his sword, slamming the concealed weapon across the man's neck.

A silence would fill the air as the three individuals stood still, whilst the two mercenaries stood ready to fight, Xylo would pan the area, plotting and planning what to do next. Gazing upon the rifle held in one of the grunts hands and the other unarmed, Xylo would immediately know what was to happen next. A noise would soon echo through the small district as action would take place within the sweets store itself. Peculiar as Xylo was, he had no time to look at the situation inside as the two mercenaries had made their move. Whilst both men stood affront him, only one would charge at him, whilst the other took aim with his rifle. Whilst a 5 meter gap was between him and his foes, and knowing fully well off the longe range advantage the mercenary had, Xylo would begin charging to the running mercenary, noticing he once was again winding up a right hook. "How petty." Xylo murmured as his grin widened enough to allow the ends of his mouth touch his ears. Xylo would cease running as he placed his body at angle where the sniper had to clear shot, and in that instant, the charging mercenary had closed the gap. The right hook would once again be thrown into Xylo's chin, however this time Xylo would weave to his right whilst bending his knees allowing his center of gravity to be closer to the ground, and utilizing the momentum the mercenary was utilizing, Xylo would catch the striking wrist and twist it anti-clockwise, which in turn would allow the ordinary action to to turn ones body outward, allowing his thrusting knee to connect to the mercenaries chin.

A loud snap would sound as Xylo dropped the unconscious mercenary like a sack of shit. His eyes would widen as blood trickled from his kneecap. However, this blood was not his own. Xylo would then again begin charging at the mercenary with the rifle, however this time he was ever smarter about it, as the gap was only 2 meters and the mercenary had a clear shot at Xylo. "Gotcha." It was too late, and what had seemed like the demise of the gentleman before would repeat itself to Xylo. The mercenaries finger would press hard on the trigger aiming for Xylo's chest. However an elevated arm of Xylo's would reach out in front of the rifle, allowing the bullet to travel into his palm. The bullet would submerge into his flesh and catch into his inner bones. A sharp pain would travel through his arm, as he clenched his fist around the round, but whilst doing so, his left arm would raise, and by launching forward whilst pointing two fingers outward, his fingers would thrust into the eyes of the mercenary. Blood would devour Xylo's hand as his smile would begin to fade.

"Mayor's manner eh..." Zeke thought, looking around the bar at the collateral damage. Ripping the man's sword belt off, Zeke's blade was firmly strapped to his side in the second. "Guess I don't need to pay for one now." Zeke said grinning. Peering upwards from his now bent position, Taka peered at Zeke. "Sorry about the blood... However, I think you should be able to clean it out the surface." Zeke concluded. "Those guys come around here and run their mouths every now and again but nothing like today.... It's because of their boss. Bernard Lucil... He's one of the top mercenaries in the city... After L.A. came to Logue Town, she refused his offer to join his team. Then, he turned on her. Everyday since then he's been trying to capture her... Usually he fails because of her Devil Fruit ability, but the last time... because I was stupid, she was caught." Taka concluded.

"For a demon woman... She's pretty popular and loved." Zeke thought. "I think your friend is just about finished." Taka responded, fixing a table and pushing Zeke into the chair, pulling another one adjacent from his current seated position. "Hey... Tattoo dude!" Taka said shouted in the martial artists direction, "I got Tea and Sweet Buns for the lot of ya'" Taka shouted. "Wait... I don't got time for this..." Zeke uttered but his words were hushed from the stern and enthusiastic glare from Taka. "I might not be able to fight but if there's one thing I'm good at is food and snacks! I put my heart on my baking skills, so you better take my gratitude." Taka shouted.

Taka rushed to the kitchen, removing her freshly baked buns from the oven. Reaching into the pantry, she removed a variety of dust like substances in the form of shakers. Cinnamon, Peppermint and Chocolate diced dust that seemed to add a flavor or texture to the tea buns were about to tantalize the taste bugs of the Swordsman and the Fighter. Walking out of the kitchen, the aroma from the buns dance around the noses of Zeke and the tattooed gentleman. Before Zeke noticed, his mouth was slightly salivating front he scent.

Taka's eyes sat perfectly set on the two adventurers. She was always amused to watch new customers taste her East Blue famous sweet buns. Her heart waited in anticipation for the the men to take their first bites. Zeke began to gobble down the Sweet Buns in almost an instant, wiping his mouth, he used his tongue to clean out his gums. "Eh they were alright." Zeke said burping.

"What a mess. Pathetic." These words were murmured by the black haired Usagi as he wrenched his left hand out of the eye socket of the bloody corpse that once was his opponent. Expressionless as he gazed upon his slaughter at his feet. Their life essence would spread across the stone tiles, which would gain the attention of civilians, as they scampered to safety. As he began to regain his stature, a high pitch tone would speak out to him. Noticing that she had referred to him as 'Tattooed Dude,' Xylo would wave, only to notice the near hole in his damn hand. His crimson hued lenses would pan it up and down, analyzing the wound in hope of reaching a better understanding into repairing. After hearing her invitation, Xylo would walk in, however he had no means to eat here, as he truly hated sweets. Walking into the store, Xylo couldn't help but feel nauseous as his blood loss mixed with his hate for sugar would combine into one. However, he was now well aware that the loss of blood would mean he would need more sugar in his blood.

As Xylo made his way into the room, he couldn't help but notice the gentleman seated eating buns, whilst blood was once again scattered across the counters. It was truly surprising as Xylo had never seen someone who was on their ass in one moment, to then dispatch of men in an instant. It was truly quite absurd as Xylo made his way to a vacant seat beside the gentleman with the top hat. Seated with his injured hand within the cotton confines of his pants, and his left hand swooping at the plate before them, latching onto the golden loafs that were to be soon devoured. His fingers would begin to pinch at the break, breaking it piece by piece before launching it into the air, allowing each tiny piece to fall into his mouth, one by one. His crimson gaze would meet the eyes of the supposed shop owner, who at the time was quite annoying, however Xylo would smile in approval of the buns. "As much as I hate sugar, I'm in need of more due to blood loss, please bring more wench." Xylo remarked as his smile dissapeared whilst his hands continued to pick at the buns and flick them into the air. "And, aren't you the interesting fellow. One minute you're down and the next..... well the mess happens." His gaze would then look at the man beside him as he continued to speak. "Whats your name?"

Wiping the jam entrails from his mouth with the washcloth in his top pocket, Kuro Neko, leaned back in his chair and turnt his head towards the man. "I wasn't panning to get shot at all actually, it was just the best course of action strategically to me. My style of fighting is based on quick movements...With Miss Taka involved, I just wanted him to shift his attention to me." Zeke said, stringing together his words slowly. "Name... My name's Ezekiel Q. Corossca but call me Zeke." the man said grinning. "Though you think I'm interesting, you defeated those lot quickly yourself-" Zeke became extremely light headed from the loss of blood from the wound in his right shoulder. His head hit the table with a loud thud. Usually, this would be cause for concern but Zeke's loud snoring indicated he was quite alive.

"You loss? To two brats? Furthermore... Two unknown ones at that..." Bernard, the leader of the mercenaries angrily rebutted as his only surviving man reported back about the incident in the tea shop. "But sir... they were strong, unlike-" Ribon's words were met with a bullet to his head.

"Bluenote. Ricardo. Lenny. Search the city and gather information about these guys... I want to now who or what I'm exactly dealing with."
Bernard concluded.

Back in the Tea Shop, Taka was in a frantic, resting Zeke on the floor, as she couldn't lift the man into the back room, she rushed for blankets and a pale of water. "This is all my fault... First Taka now him. I'm so useless" the woman said beginning to cry. "Those Mercenaries had no chance of defeating L.A, let alone capturing her. It was all because of me she was caught." Taka confessed. "Two month ago, L.A. arrived in Logue Town for supplies she told me. She visited my tea shop and had a sweet tooth for sweet buns especially, until she eventually started helping out because I was short of staff. She had markings much like you Tattoo Man... but here's were this weird language. She's pretty gorgeous as well." the woman finished side-tracked, congested by her tears. "The mercenaries came here a day while she was working and recognized her, they brought their boss and the whole team to capture her but she defeated them in an instant with help of her Devil Fruit. However, two weeks ago, they held me hostage and she turned herself to the mercenaries who then informed the Marines of her whereabouts. Now a whole bunch of Marines have arrvied in Logue Town... I heard she'll be publicly executed.." Taka trailed off. Bowing her head towards the sleeping Zeke and the unknown man. "Please... I have a plan to save her but I can't do it alone. Deliver these Sweet Buns to the controlling officer of the Marines, a man named Griffin. He's known in Logue Town for his love of sweets, if you can convince him to save her for me-" Taka concluded but her words were interrupted by Zeke opening his eyes. "Essentially you're asking us to bribe a marine and risk our lives for a women we just met. What's the benefit in that for us?" Zeke inquired, laying completely still in his current position. "I-" Taka said flustered. "Okay. I'm a sword for hire however and my price won't be cheap." Zeke said. "I don't have much but I'll put together whatever sum you-" Taka's words were muffled by Zeke's sigh. "I don't want your money. My job is to do whatever my heart tells me is right. Right now, it's cause some ruckus in Logue Town. Your job is to bake me 100,000 thousand sweet buns by the time I return with L.A." Zeke said. "I say I, since, I'm not keen about forcing strangers along with my whims." Zeke said peering at the tattooed gentleman.

A crunch would sound as Xylo threw the last piece of his bun into his mouth, as he listened to the man beside him. His attention whilst brought to listening to the man, he couldn't help but multitask as he grabbed a napkin and began to wrap his wounded palm. The plain white napkin would instantly allow his blood to expand across and be absorbed, thus painting the napkin a crimson red in just a few seconds. "Wow. It's a pity I missed half the show, Zeke." After expelling the last syllable, Xylo's train of thought would be interrupted by Zeke's head crashing onto the table. Xylo would instantly begin to analyze his body from a minor distance. Scanning his body remembering the gunshot and noticing where his skin had been pierced in his right shoulder. Assessing the blood flow and him hazing out, blood loss was the major factor, however unless he were to do a full body test, then nerve damage would be a possibility. His hands would reach into his pockets only to elevate a cigarette to his lips and lighting it. Gazing upon Taka as she lay Zeke down before them and confessed to some absurd story of back stabbing.

However Xylo wouldn't flinch to her story, and it would seem as the eyes of Zeke awakened he wasn't quite phased either. It had seemed he had one thing in common, and that was simply a calm composure. And after she had given them a job offer, Xylo would sit there as Zeke made his demands. "Fuck it. I'll tag along, no payment needed. Plus~" Xylo spoke whilst he made his way toward the injured Zeke on the ground. "~if you go with that wound untreated, you're looking at infection, hypovolemic shock, which in turn could lead to death. The good new's however, is I'm in fact a doctor." He concluded as he pointed out to Taka for tweezers, string and to run a needle under boiling water. After gaining the good's Xylo without any permission would reach into the mans shoulder with the tweezers and dislodge the lead bullet out of the wound. Taking precautions he would dab a wet cloth across the tip of the wound as everything he had done would have caused immense pain. Unlucky for his patient, he had no beli for medical equipment, nor for medicine and drugs. He would then look at Zeke. "Apologies in advance." And in instant Xylos fingers would dance across Zekes shoulder, piercing his skin with the needle around the wound, only to stitch the wound together in a matter of seconds. "Give it a few days and you'll regain your blood, in a week you can remove the stitches. However i shall accompany you if you wish to pursue this, well, 'noble quest,' What do you say?"

to discover true freedom.

The feeling of fingers digging into his shoulder was excruciating beyond explanation. As the man stitched up his shoulder, he explained when the wound would heal.

"Thanks... I didn't get your name up til now actually."

Zeke said grinning. Dusting off his top hat, Zeke returned to his feet, "The more the merrier. Besides, maybe this time we'll both get to see what each other is made of, Rishishi."Zeke said laughing. Placing his hat on Taka's head,"Wait here. I kind of don't want that hat getting ripped up. I promised a friend of mine I'd keep it safe." Zeke said grinning. Zeke and the unknown doctor exited, grabbing the sweet buns to deliver them to Mayor's Manner.

Xylo would step out of the kitchen as he wiped his wet hands after completing the minor surgery. "No worries." His reply played elegantly as he kept it short and sweet. Standing as the two affront him exchanged words, he couldn't help but notice the hat being of some importance. The weird, old fashioned black hat? It was bizarre, however Xylo would leave his questions for another day and leave the building.
