Task:

It's been a entire day since Kharen had transferred over to Swallow island enlisted as a Marine recruit. He'd had been waiting for this for a long time. Ever since the moment his crew had been slaughtered and he set out on his own path. Swallow island being a place to train new marksmen Kharen deliberately planned to go here to easily kill some newbies which he was out with right now. Besides him there were 8 other marines 5 of them carried rifles along their back and others had blades to their hip. From what he could tell none of them had any real experience in battle or with their respective weapons which made his job that much easier.

Essentially he was at the back of the group examining each and every single one of his targets. He was in his regular attire with his blade Shimi on his back. He had to wait for the right moment to strike as to allow himself to escape. Kharen thought over to himself it be best to kill all the marksmen and leave 1 or 2 swordsmen alive since they couldn't fire bullets at him. After the small trek was over and the group he was with settled down for a training area Kharen smirked as he thought up a grand idea. Walking towards the center of everyone drew Shimi in his right hand setting them off a little. "How about us blade guys split up with the snipers and get a little sparring in." He suggested with his stone face looking to the three blade guys as they nervously sighed and nodded as Kharen walked over to a clear space as the snipers set up a spot a little ways over past a dense bushy area. He had the perfect scheme to set up to end this quickly.

The young marine lunged at Kharen who stepped forward using the width of Shimi to block the sabre of the marine putting his whole body to it as he pushed the marine back and spun around with a horizontal slash attack using the back of the blade. Kharen consciously slowed down giving even the pathetic marine time to react as the marine would raise his blade upside down to counter Kharen's attack. Bored with him Kharen sighed as he stepped forward pushing his weight against the marine through his blade making him easily lose balance through his stance before pointing his blade to the marine's throat looking down at him with a cold face. "I win."He said sheathing his blade on his back as the marine got up and staggered to a tree collapsing with exhaustion. Kharen merely shook his head at how pathetic the guy was. Although he gave him props for giving his all at least lasting that long. He normally doesn't pull his punches and would have gladly killed the man but he had to wait for his plan to unfold. He beckoned for both man to come at him as they both bowed and smirked happily." I wonder if you get that skill from your outfit there." One of the men chirped up laughing as Kharen shrugged drawing Shimi once more. Both of them charged with frenzied overhead attacks.


Stepping forward Kharen held his blade firmly in his right hand placing his left under the flat edge of the blade as it collided with the two Marine’s blades.  Sparks flew and the two immediately pulled back as Kharen didn’t allow them time to recover dashing forward startling the two. In return they actually stood there ground back to back both blades raised defensively. Kharen feeling to show off a bit slammed Shimi in to the one on his left as he felt both of their bodies push against each other. Using the momentum to help hold the blade their Kharen jumped into the air with his grip still on the handle as he spun on his front leg to slam his foot on the flat edge of Shimi adding more force to his original blow which sent the two flying a few feet and caused one of them to scream. Kharen simply walked over to the two seeing one was injured and the sound of rustling within the surrounding bushes could be heard.

Keeping up the part Kharen hurridly ran over to the fallen Marine kneeling  in front of the as the other was trying to stop the bleeding with his hands. Kharen wasn’t much of a doctor but there wasn’t a lot of blood coming out but the cut was still nasty somewhatThe one over by the tree resting ran over along with the returning fleet of  five snipers rifles in hand as they all crowded around Kharen and the fallen marine. They all did nothing but look grimly as Kharen still held shimi in his hand  slowly taking it in to both. "May you all rest." He said softly drawing their attention as he stood whirling around with Shimi in hand slashing all of the surrounding 6 marines in one fell swoop. Blood splayed wildly everywhere as all of the surrounding bodies feel to the floor like a stack of dominoes toppling over. All that was left were the two swordsmen who stared at him with wide eyes. Flicking his blade to remove it of the blood Kharen pointed his blade towards them. “Remember this name, I am the Shadow Reaper. A pirate of the this age and here I declare my existence. Let me be known to the world.”

Kharen would have said before turning to walk off. The un-injured Marine would have rose and trembled in his place picking up the sword laying near by him. “Face Me!!!” The Marine would have yelled simply trembling look as if he’d drop his sword at almost any moment. Kharen stopped in his tracks  and gave the man a cold empty look. “I am not one for many words you idiot. But I have to say you got some balls although your weak. Be glad I let you live.” Kharen would have simply said as the marine would have dropped to his knees tears falling from his eyes lying among the center of his dead allies. Once Kharen would have made it out of there he would have started running through the woods realizing he would finally be in some real trouble.
