She looked at him with her brown shining eyes as they sparkled with the stars. She listened to him speak about her being the second woman to say such thing. Who was the first? Should she turn the matters into her own? She shook her head as she stopped caring about whoever this other female was as she would sweetly smile, looking at him.

'Beautiful huh? I wish...' she thought.

''Hahaha, I'm not sure if I'd say beautiful, but thank you.'' she smiled silly-like as she brought her right hand behind her head and itched it nervously. Her eyes blinked simply as she saw him being rather bashful. ''It's alright, you're just urm...Speaking your mind.'' she spoke softly as her fox tail would sway back and forth. ''You look rather adorable with your bashfulness, blushing pinker than anything beyond what I can think of.'' she spoke and chuckled lightly and softly as she would lean back against a tree, the same one she was standing behind and watching him.

If Anton's blush could get any darker, it did. The lieutenant rubbed the back of his head and chuckled. So she thought he was cute huh? He was sure his heart skipped a beat or something. The last pretty woman to show kindness to him initially thought he was a girl. Concetta at least seemed to know what gender he was. He also couldn't help but get the feeling she had a somewhat low opinion of herself. Anton really did think she was beautiful, and was glad that he hadn't offended her.

"W-Well thank you very much," he said sheepishly, "I think this is te first time someone's called me cute."

He was quiet for a moment before something hit him, his eyes widening. "Oh he'll, I forgot! My boat should be getting ready to depart soon! I-I've got to go! I-I'm so sorry to have to run like this. It was very nice talking to you Miss Concetta. I sincerely hope we meet again." he gave her a rushed bow before turning and running, dashing down the road toward the village. Despite being in a rush to get to the ship, there was a slight spring in the marine's step. Are all, it wasn't every day that you got to talk with a pretty woman, nor have her call you cute as well. He took her words to heart. When he reached their next destination, he had a lot of work to do.
