Susanoo

Susanoo had finally ridden himself of the troublesome bunch of Pirates. They were useful when it came to giving him an inflated ego, doing menial task, and above all else induce headaches and irritation. He waved with a happy smile on his face as they sailed off in the stolen Marine vessel towards the Grandline maybe. "Idiots." He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he scoffed and turned around. Walking away from the departing waving pirates, he didn't understand how people could be so stupid. "They didn't learn what trouble sailing a Marine vessel causes after all that bullshit?" He murmured to himself with his eyes down on the ground. He did that often when in deep thought. Often people looked up to the right or left corner or something like that, but Susanoo naturally found his eyes scrolling down to the ground when he was contemplating something. That was irrelevant though.

I need some food. He put a hand to his chin and finally looked up with both his head and eyes. Maybe he only looked down when he was thinking about other people or something. His other hand was propping the one that was to his chin up while he walked through Ilusia and tried to figure out what he'd do about his food situation. His hands were just in his pockets and he knew he had no Beli in them. Stealing is what landed him in that whole ordeal back on Ohara up until now, so he didn't even consider it beyond the initial thought. Maybe they have a food bank or something for homeless people around here. His eyes scrolled back down to a more natural level of being as he set out on a hunt for a food bank.

Flash-forward

Gripped by his collar wth two hands hardened by years of labor, Susanoo was tossed like a heap of garbage out a bakery and back into the streets of Ilusia. "We don't serve beggars!" People gasped and jumped out of Susanoo's way as he tumbled and eventually came to a stop. "Fucking asshat." He grumbled to himself as he stood up a bit groggily and dusted himself off. He paid no mind to the people staring at him. He got his feet moving once more, where he was going was through the alley that the bakery was apart of. There had to be some tossed out bread or something back there. With a grin on his face as he'd get the last laugh he rounded the corner to where the backdoor and dumpster of the bakery were. His grin instantly dissolved as he did so, however. "You think you're the first beggar I've dealt with?" Susanoo's face expressed his hate for this man through a clinched jaw and furrowed brows. "Kick rocks!" He knew he could easily take the guy out, but he really didn't want to get involved in anymore crime right now. He knew it was only a matter of time before he had a Wanted Poster floating around the West Blue. It'd be worth writing home about, but certainly rob him of some hours of sleep. At least until he felt he was ready to deal with what came with having a bounty.

Susanoo dismissively wafted in the baker's direction like the man was a fart and walked away back the way he came from. After rounding the corner he heard the backdoor to the bakery close. His grin returned to his face and he still would get the last laugh. "What you gonna do about me taking a piss on your wall." He chuckled mischievously as he whipped out ol' willy and relieved himself on the bakery's wall, albeit it was outside it in an alleyway. Putting his johnson away after a shake or two, he continued down the alleyway and filtered back out into the street.

Susanoo

"Guess I'll just have to get food the old way." Hunting. Susanoo had resorted to hunting for his means of food for a couple of months straight a few times in the past, but it wasn't his favorite. No real seasonings and he wasn't the best cook, so he basically resorted to burning everything to a fucking crisp to be sure there weren't any parasites or anything left in the meats. He just bounced back from hunting in Ohara, by doing odd end jobs for people in Ohara, but now he was back at it. I'll have to teach myself how to skin hides or something. He figured he could sell the pelts of whatever it was he ate to make some money, so he wouldn't be stuck in a rut for too long.

He knew he'd be living out in the wild for at least a month with the first step he took on the grass. He let out a woeful sigh in response to the thought, but didn't let it get to him, he had some food to catch. Digging in his secondary pouch, he retrieved a sucker. These things always had a way of telling how his day would go without fail, so he hoped this one wouldn't forsake him. "Show me your favor." He sent his wishes to the divines, hoping they'd bless him as he unraveled the unmarked wrapper. What he saw was very pleasing, it was cherry flavored, one of his top five favorite flavors, maybe spot number three or two. "Fuck yes!" Maybe he was wrong about potentially living in the woods for a month.

He now walked with more confidence through the wilderness, now eager to find his next meal. "Psst . . . kid." The "psst" alone caused Susanoo to stop in his tracks. The presence of the voice's owner was totally undetected. It made his heart skip a beat and made him freeze in astonishment for a moment. A second of time spent, stalling in shock, Susanoo grabbed for his slingshot on his hip with one hand, dug in his marble pouch with the other, and used his legs to jump back and square his body off with the direction the voice came from.

Susanoo

Susanoo waited patiently with his marble drew in his slingshot. All he needed was for the person to make another noise, so he could pinpoint their location. Silence persisted for about thirty seconds until the sound of rustling in the trees to Susanoo's left summoned his attention and drew his fire. Immediately after he shot, he prepared another, but also there was a laugh and it didn't come from the direction Susanoo had shot at or the one he initially turned to face.

"Relax. If I wanted to harm you, I wouldn't have called to to you." A man jumped out of the tree as Susanoo turned to face him, his slingshot still drawn, but directed at the ground in an idle manner. Susanoo didn't trust the man yet, as if anyone would. "What are you doing out in the wilderness." His tone was one that communicated curiosity, not interrogative in the least bit, though that's what he was looking to do. "I could ask you the same." Susanoo made a sour face. "But you didn't ask first." He would put on the tough guy act and raise his slingshot to be leveled with the man, but he didn't want to escalate the situation, especially with how slippery this guy seemed to be. He was probably strong, experienced at the least. "I guess you're right." The man shrugged and patted his hands down in a calming manner, persuading Susanoo to unready his shot and put his weapons away.

"I'm out Hunting." The way the guy put emphasis on "Hunting" was weird to Susanoo, but the world was full of weird people so he didn't pay too much mind to it. "Oh, same. Tough being broke." The man made a surprised expression when Susanoo said this. "You're a Hunter too?!" Susanoo didn't understand why this was such exciting news, but maybe it was the first person the man had ran into who had plans of living off the land. "I wouldn't call myself a hunter. I don't do it often, just need some food cause I got no money." The man scrunched his lips to the side and put both his fist to his hips as he shook his head, but then chuckled it off. "You misunderstood me." Susanoo raised a brow. "I don't mean a hunter like someone who is out looking for animals to eat." What the fuck does he mean then? Susanoo made a confused face. "A Hunter is someone who hunts rare beast. Some of us do it for sport and some of us do it for clients who want certain parts of the animals or the animals itself." Susanoo got it now, seemed like regular hunting to him, but he just went along with it. Who was he to defame the man's occupation.

"Think of how people hunt elephants for tusk, but with rarer species." Susanoo was nodding before, but now his mouth opened like he came to a sudden realization and it all made sense to him now, which it didn't. Still seemed like regular hunting, but it just wasn't for survival. "Cool, so what are you hunting now?" The man smirked at this, his hands now back to his sides, but then he pointed beyond Susanoo. "You see that bundle of cloth over there?" Susanoo turned over his shoulder to see what the guy was talking about and saw it. The cloth was like fishnet almost, but much more layered and white, still a bit see-through though. "What's in it." "You can't smell that?" The guy walked in Susanoo's direction to get closer to the bundle of cloth as he audibly sniffed the air. Susanoo did the same, but got nothing, but the smell of wilderness. "No. What is it" Susanoo couldn't even smell the man. He had probably been out in the wilderness for days or something given his scent was completely erased. Anyways, he looked over to the sniffing man who smiled in reply to Susanoo's words.

"It took me a while to hone my nose to the point I could smell it too. It's a rare species of fish I caught. My mark has a very strong nose and should be able to smell the odor of it from at least twenty miles out. It's the equivalent to entering a bakery or candy shop for us." Susanoo had to admit he was a bit interested in what the guy had going on. While he did seem like some weirdo nature freak who had too much time on his hands and probably needed to go start a family or ran away from one, he was a bit interesting. The bakery reference left a sour taste in the youth's mouth though. "Mind if I tag along for the hunt?" The man was walking over to his bait, when he stopped and turned to Susanoo with a hand on his chin and his eyes directed up in thought. "Hmmm. I guess it couldn't hurt. Just make sure you keep everything above the head of the mark in tact." Susanoo was a bit caught off guard by the guy's words. He seemed so lackadaisical about everything, that it seemed out of character for him to even talk remotely about harming something. "Roger that."

The Hunter began to walk to a tree not too far away from the bait, then in one leap he jumped up, grabbed a branch, then swung around it like a circus troupe member and perched on the branch. "Take cover on the opposite side of the clearing and we'll fight it on two fronts." As the man spoke he adjusted the surrounding shrubbery to hide his body making him a bit hard to hear, but Susanoo got the idea. He didn't have as much finesse or swiftness as the Hunter, but he got up the tree he chose without making a fool of himself. Cherry sucker don't let me down. If Susanoo understood correctly, the guy could be turning in his mark to some kind of big wig for some big money. Since he wanted the head in tact it was probably meant to be mounted on a wall. All I gotta do is carry my weight and I might be able to talk him into giving me a cut of the reward. He silently snickered to himself, but stopped once he heard something loud in the distance. It was this weird grumbling and it was coming from behind him, but it was still pretty far away.

Looking from behind himself to where the Hunter was last seen, Susanoo couldn't even tell if the guy was there. Usually you could at least feel someone's presence or spirit with you or something silly like that. I feel like I'm in the forest by myself right now. What the fuck. The man had seemingly erased all traces of his existence and for a moment Susanoo believed it to be true. Shit, just be calm and quiet. The grumbling was growing louder and louder and eventually he could hear grunts accompanying the grumbling and thumps as if a giant were pounding the forest floor. Be calm, be calm, be calm, be calm. The guy saying the creature had a keen sense of smell kept replaying in Susanoo's mind. That and how people said dog's could smell fear. He'd undoubtedly be sniffed out. Fuck, that's why I couldn't smell that bastard! The guy had probably purposely erased his scent by doing something like rolling in mud or some shit. At this moment Susanoo knew this guy wasn't just some nature freak, but he knew what the hell he was doing. This world is fucking crazy.

It would get even crazier as the tree he was in began to tremble as the beast got closer and closer, it must have been a giant. What came next would make Susanoo opt out of helping the guy if he had saw it before signing up for this freak show. A tree even bigger than the one Susanoo was perched in just began to fall over and creak violently until he hit the ground with a thunderous boom. He wanted to cover his ears so bad and even knew he wouldn't be heard doing it because everything was so loud right now. Birds flying away and small squirrels and rodents scampering away while squeaking. They were smart, but Susanoo was dumb. Not only dumb, but scared shitless to the point he couldn't move. It didn't stop there though, next the beast roared so loudly the youth thought his ears would begin to bleed. Reflexively he had to cover his ears with his hands to stop the pain. Was this cherry sucker a fluke?

Susanoo

His hands were clasped against his head covering his ears, with his eyes sealed shut reflexively from the pain that persisted in his ears. Sensory wise, Susanoo felt overloaded and didn't even know where he was or what he was doing at the moment. He wouldn't snap out of it until the tree he was perched in was swiped by the behemoth of a bear and began to fall at an alarming rate. "Shit!" He hands were still pressed to his ears when this happened and even when he tried to take them off and catch himself it was futile and he knew it. Colliding with the ground, he was lucky to not be impaled by a branch or crushed by the tree's large trunk. Fear had froze his body and rendered him immobile. Well he could move, but not enough to get to his feet and definitely not enough to up and run. His hands were shaking like crazy and he could feel how weak his limbs felt, further draining his spirit of any violent intentions. I'm going to die.

He hadn't even seen the face of the beast yet and he was already defeated, how pitiful. The thought had resonated in him, but did little to inspire him to get up and fight. It just poured salt in the wound. He was such a fragile little thing who thought he was actually make way in this world because he outran and beat up a few Marines. Pathetic. Even when he pushed his hands to the ground to try to push himself away from the threat he had yet to see, they hadn't the strength to manage that. Falling back onto his back, he looked at his hands to see they had fresh blood on them, albeit it was smeared a bit. It was from his ears and it made his heart jump in fear of being rendered deaf for the rest of his existence, but then he noticed he could hear the heavy breathing of his murderer behind the fallen tree and shrubbery.

"Steadfast kid!" An arrow flew over Susanoo's head through the fallen tree's refuse and earned a yell from the beast behind it. Looking over his shoulder, he saw the Hunter had jumped out the tree he had become a ghost in and was beckoning for Susanoo to get up in a rushed manner. It worked to put a bit of gas in the youth's tank, at least enough to get from out of the tree's debris. Splintered and scratched up a bit, Susanoo eventually scrambled to his feet once out the debris field and took a position behind the Hunter. He wasn't cowering behind the guy or anything, he had a bit of pride left in him, but he damn sure wish he didn't so that he could be clinging to the man's arm and get a sense of comfort.

"What the fuck are you hunting!" Susanoo honestly thought it'd be a normal sized animal, but just look a bit different, not some sort of beast out a fairy tail book. "It's called a Triple Eyed Yokai Bear." As he gave the creature a name, as if on cue it gave an appearance to match the name. It was huge, maybe twenty feet tall as it stood on its hind legs and gave a deep growl. The arrow the Hunter fired had hit the beast and blood was leaking out the wound, this wound probably being why the beast was a bit more calm. "What's that stuff on it." The Hunter readied another arrow and sealed an eye shut. "It's armor. This species of beast is in the process of adapting to combat manmade weapons. That hide can bend like leather, but it's as tough as any iron armor you can find." He fired his second shot at the beast's other arm, but it moved said arm in a humanistic fashion to block the arrow with its hide. "It used it like a shield or buckler or something." "Precisely. This one has fought a human or at least something like a human before. . . This won't be easy." As the Hunter finished the bear slammed down onto its front legs causing a the terrain underneath it to crack and buckle a bit. It could easily squash and kill a human with its strength alone, but coupled with that weight, one hit could mean death. "On your toes!" The beast had got over the fallen tree by putting its front legs down and now was charging the duo.

Jumping to his right, the Hunter jumped to his left, both going the opposite direction and splitting. The bear stopped in the spot they previously were and turned to face the Hunter. Divines forbid anything happen to him, but thank you. Susanoo still hadn't fully recovered psychologically from the beast' introduction and wouldn't be able to handle facing off with the thing up close and personal. Continuing to employ hop steps, the Hunter moved backwards with the bear to his front as he drew another arrow and prepped it for fire. "Assault it from the back while I entertain it!" "Huh? Oh, yeah." Susanoo had nearly forgot he was supposed to be helping the guy take the mark down and not just running for his life while spectating.

"Okay, lets try this." Using his knowledge on weather systems, Susanoo had thought this technique up a while ago. He never used it before, but it was science, so it shouldn't misfire as long as his ratios and timing was on point. Science always produced the same effects, but only if the variables remained the same and were exact. Taking his Gunbai's handle into his hand he twisted the shaft disengaging the weapon and allowing him to draw the rod that ran through the war fan alone. This was his Clima- Tact. Breaking one of the sections of the weapon off, he had the thunder ball and heat ball rod in his right hand and the cool ball section in his left. "I'm going to need a minute before I'm ready!" He knew it probably wasn't what the guy wanted to hear, but Susanoo figured he was strong.

Using the cool ball above his head, Susanoo cooled off the air and held the heat ball rod out and used it to suck up the moisture and heat the atmosphere. This would continue for a while, much to the Hunters annoyance. "What are you doing, I could use some help!?" Susanoo felt bad, but the guy would just have to hold out and trust him. "Just give me a minute, I promise it will pay off!" He watched as the beast rampaged about chasing the Hunter swiping at him with its tree trunk like arms and smashing the ground.

Susanoo

Finally the Hunter had bought Susanoo enough time to try to put his technique to good use. Releasing the heat ball orb, it collided with the cool air the cool ball created and a cloud began to form. "Hahaa!" He exclaimed as his field test actually paid off and worked how he hypothesized it would. "One final touch." He flipped the Clima-Tact section that had the heat rod and thunder rod on it, so the thunder rod was in front. Producing a Thunder Ball out the rod, the ball flew into the ascending cloud's mass and electrified it turning it into a storm cloud. "Alright I'm ready!" The Hunter jumped back narrowly avoiding a sweep from the beast, but wasn't ready for the secondary attack. Slamming its large arms against the ground, the earth buckled and collapsed from the force of the impact. With the ground crumbling from the beast's monstrous strength and the Hunter about to land from his hop step, when he did land his feet sunk in the rubble and he was buried up to his waist. "Ahh!"

Poising to finish the Hunter off, the bear reeled its arm back for a swing that'd probably knock the man's upper half clean off his lower half. Fuck! Quickly he wasted no more time to launch his attack and he commanded the cloud he conjured up to fire off three thunderbolts at the Triple Eyed Yokai Bear. One thunder bolt was aimed at the beast's prepped arm, while the other two hit the monster in the back. The arm fell limb at the monster's side, numb and temporarily unable to be controlled from the nerves being frazzled. As for the back it caused the monster to have what looked like back spasms from a double dose of the electricity flowing through its body. Roaring out in pain and probably irritation, it reared up on its hind legs while turning to face Susanoo. "That's right come at me." He didn't have anything up his sleeve really, but he felt a bit like hot shit right now since his thunder cloud was up and running.

As the bear came back down on its front legs, it showed Susanoo that the numbness already faded in the shocked limb as it was stable and using it. The teen scoffed at this, a bit disheartened, but temporary numbness was still helpful. Connecting all the sections of his Clima-Tact he swung his weapon forward into empty air as the beast came charging at him. Again the thunder cloud fired off bolts of lightning at the monster. One of which hit it in the shoulder causing it to buckle and fall down, the other two hit it in the back again, Susanoo deliberately attacking near the spine thinking it'd cause it to get permanently paralyzed or something. That probably wasn't true, but it is what he believed. With the beast falling and struggling to get up it grunted out at Susanoo, its blood red eyes holding nothing but hostility and hate in them. "Don't hesitate. Finish it off!!" The Hunter was pulling his lower body out of the rubble as he shouted at Susanoo from behind the bear. Nodding to the man's words, he put the Clima-Tact back into the war fan and drew his slingshot. The beast began to rise again, the numbness wearing off even quicker than it did before. "It's too late he's back up. Fall back!" Susanoo's mind was drawing a blank with the shadow of the beast being cast over him. The darkness literally swallowed him up and he began to get overridden with that same fear he felt earlier. By roaring with tremendous force the beast was actually able to blow Susanoo's thunder cloud away dispelling it. Haphazardly, it brought the youth down to his knees, his hands protecting his delicate ears from the intensity of the shout that seemed to shake the forest. Lifting both hands as if clasping them together, the bear prepared to slam them both down onto Susanoo, but he could do nothing to move as he was melted by the demon's presence alone. "Kid, you gotta move!" The Hunter had made it just in the nick of time and pushed Susanoo out the way in a body slamming fashion saving his life. Rocks and rubble showered them as they skid against the ground getting scraped up as they did so. "You can't afford to crumble like this in combat. You got to overcome the bloodlust and fight back." Bloodlust, that's what that was. The amount that was flowing forth from this thing was enough to be actively felt and bring a person to their knees? Susanoo knew he wasn't the bravest person there was, but to have that amount of aggression was unimaginable for the teen. With shaky legs he came to a stand and saw the beast was walking on its hind legs to the two humans. Its red eyes gleaming in the shadow it casted over them, the sun to its back beaming on it like it was a God, but there was no way such a foul creature could be regarded as even remotely holy.

I can't let them down. He didn't know if it was true, if he truly was favored by the Divines and Deities above, but at times it felt like he was. He couldn't risk it being true and throw away their favor by dying like some coward. He'd probably be tortured for his entire existence in the afterlife if he did and that was way worse than this. His breaths were heavy and labored from how exhausting the whole situation was, but his resolve and courage had returned. "Lets do this." The Hunter glanced over at Susanoo and gave a small nod. He probably felt like now was a little late to get the balls to fight, but late was better than never. Though his hands were still trembling he confidently gripped his slingshot and fished out five marbles. Prepping them all in the sling, he already knew what his plan of approach was. He also knew his foe was dumb enough to fall for it. "We just gotta keep the exterior face of this thing in tact right? I'm assuming its for a mantle piece." The Hunter looked at Susanoo with a shocked expression. "You're right, how'd you know?" "Just a good guess, I guess." It was all he needed to know though. Clinching down on the marbles, he shattered them a bit and hopped back. "I need you to hit it with an arrow. Anywhere works, just get its mouth open." The Hunter now hopped back to and he nodded as he drew an arrow in his bow. "Roger that."

Firing off the first arrow, the bear swatted it away, then began to attack. Slamming down on both its front feet, the whole clearing seemingly collapsed and crumbled from the force of the stomp. Susanoo had jumped back, but couldn't possibly jump back far enough to not get caught up int eh scope of the attack. Not only was the landing an issue, but it sent rocks and rumble showering everywhere. One of the rocks sailed and struck the teen right in the head causing warm blood to trickle down. "Agh!" Despite the events that unfolded he kept his shot ready, even as he sunk in the pit of debris created by the beast. "Are you ok!? Susanoo didn't know if he was alright, for all he knew his brain was showing, but it didn't hurt too bad and he still felt like he was functioning alright, so he was good for now. "Yeah, just stuck in the rubble."

He shouted out as he saw the bear marching towards him, its fangs gritted and it grunting a bit. Damn its mouth isn't opening enough "I'll pull you out, hold on!" Susanoo looked over to see the Hunter had found a larger piece of rock to land on effectively avoiding sinking. Drawing his bow he shot at the bear between its plates of armor, but the bear ignored the arrows and just took the shots and kept walking towards Susanoo. "I hit him, what was your plan!?." Susanoo grunted as he tried to wiggle a bit to free himself, but only found himself sinking deeper. "I need it to open its mouth. I thought the pain would make that work, but I guess not." He couldn't do anything now, but wait for his death. "Hold up, I got one last gambit." Fishing something out of his garbs, Susanoo saw the man pull out a leather bag, then tear it open with his teeth. Instantly the bear stopped in its tracks. Restlessly its nostrils began to open wider as it sniffed the fresh scent. Digging his hand in the bag, the Hunter pulled out a single fish as big as a minnow. He dangled the small thing by pinching it with his index finger and thumb. With his other arm he covered his face, apparently the odor was powerful to him, still something Susanoo couldn't pick up on.

The bear now turned from Susanoo and was walking to the hunter while grunting greedily. "We only got one chance with this, so you better not mess up." The Hunter's voice was muffled, but Susanoo still understood him. Lowering his arm, the bear lowered its fram a bit as it kept walking forward, its demeanor completely different now. "Like a child in a candy shop" The Hunter grinned, before launching the fish directly at Susanoo. It shocked the teen, he honestly didn't expect it, but it made sense to do it. The bear would undoubtedly come straight at him and open its mouth at one point in time giving the teen a clear shot. Like a dog the bear went to fetch the fish, Susanoo wondered if the thing even knew Susanoo was there anymore, but that was insignificant right now. Its mouth agape, Susanoo fired his five cracked marbles into the bears mouth and as they hit the back of its throat they'd shatter. The whole journey down they'd fuck up the monster's esophagus, as it literally swallowed glass shards at this point. Yelling out in pain, soon it began to leak blood out its mouth and paw at its own throat.

"Nows are chance!" He pushed himself up and out the rubble now while the bear was dealing with its own personal ordeal and began to fire marbles one after another at the beasts chest. Armored or not, all armor could break and Susanoo was determined to prove to the Divines that he deserved their favor. The Hunter joined him with his assault and fired arrows at the bear, albeit at its vulnerable points. "Hitting the armored parts won't work!" To be honest the Hunter's arrows were hardly working because the bear was moving around so much and had its arms up at its neck. Its outer arm armor was blocking a lot of his shots. "These aren't regular shots." It was true. Each shot Susanoo fired was encased in a sphere of wind that was nearly as hard as iron and he noticed the armor it was hitting was beginning to give in. "Are best bet is to make it die from blood loss." While Susanoo felt like he was getting somewhere, it was best to work smarter as opposed to harder and that plan sounded smarted, though it'd take some time. "Gotcha." He readied another marble in the sling. "Are marbles all you have?" Susanoo hated that question. "I've never been in a situation where something requires more than these. Sorry." Now mildly irritated he drew the slingshot back a bit more than usual and fired his shot. The result was a marble speeding through the air with a shell of wind on it, but this time it was shaped like a bullet from a gun. With all the arm swinging, the marble hit the outer shell of the beast again, but this time it pierced through the armor and went into the bear's arm.

The bear shouted out violently in pain, now with a wound possibly more grievous than the first one. "I pierced it!" The Hunter stood there with his mouth agape this time, amazed at what he just saw. "That's unbelievable. What kind of marbles are those? Susanoo fished out another marble and tried to revisit the feeling he had when he shot the last one to produce similar effects. "Just regular old marbles." He grinned before firing it and he got the same effects, this time it hit the beast's chest and penetrated its armor. "Ha! Now you're going down." Again he shot and again the beast yelled out in pain, until he got to shot number five. Exhausted to the point he was winded and feeling a bit weak, he fired off the last shot and this one silenced the bear, by piercing straight through it. "I think you did it!" Eagerly they both watched as the beast stumbled back in silence, then to the side as if it were drunk, then finally straight forward face first into the ground producing a loud yet satisfying crash.

"We did it!" Susanoo chuckled as the Hunter exclaimed over their victory. He head was still bleeding and his eye had been haphazardly closed to avoid getting blood in it. "Heheh. Can I get bandaged up now?" The Hunter walked over to the corpse carefully and drew out his dagger. "Not yet, we have to make sure its dead and secure what we came for." Plopping down on his ass, he watched as the Hunter carefully fabricated the bear and beheaded it. It was gruesome to watch because the thing was so big. So much blood and watching the Hunter butcher through the spinal cord with the poor little dagger was quite the sight. Putting his knife away he left the headless corpse there in the rubble of its destruction as he lugged the head over to Susanoo with both hands by its hair.

"I was wondering . . . since I helped out, if I could get a cut of your reward." The Hunter's head tilted to the side unknowingly at first, blood on his face and hands. But then his face lit up with contentment. "Of course. I definitely would have been dead if it wasn't for you. You're pretty strong kid!" Susanoo thought that was ironic, because he felt exactly the same way. "You should consider picking up Hunting." Susanoo wasn't against the idea actually. It was hard work, but it beat killing people. "Maybe, this shit was pretty hard though, so I'd need to get a lot stronger first." The Hunter laughed out very loudly at this. "This was a B-Rank Hunt, there are easier ones than this you can take." "B-Rank?" Susanoo put his slingshot on his waist and pushed himself off the ground, his eye still forced closed, but his head had stopped bleeding. "It's a lot to explain, lets talk about it later yeah?" Susanoo nodded. That sounded great, he wasn't in much of a talking mood anymore anyways.
