"Oh NO NO NO NO NO NO," a voice said to no one in particular. Strange legs struck the ground hard and fast. Elegant movements allowed the creature to by pass the tree's that shot through her view. The large canopy of tree's making it impossible for the strange creature to take flight. She had wandered too far, way too far from her home. Her parents hated it when she left and in all honesty, the unqiue creation was forbidden to leave the house. A slave to her parents yet loved so dearly. It certainly was a strange scenario, but the curiosity of the bird could not be swayed. Her blue wings tightly tucked beside her as she ran. A few meters to the clearing then a left, through the tree's, over the creek and in to the falls. That was where she lived, not long now...If she could get to the clearing she could take off and cut the time down dramatically.

"bzzz,bzzz, bzzzzz BZZZ BZBZ BZZBZBZ a strange sound erupted in to her ears, strange to most, familiar to her. The bee's floated around her, moving gently with her own movement, a strange phenomena, bugs communicating with a bird? The strange speech of the bee's forced the humanoid bird to come to a screeching halt prior to hitting the clearing. Her eyes wide with curiosity at what the bee's were saying. "What? noo, nooo your kidding me? Wingless? here? oooooooh this is just soooo coool" she said, though at least thats what she said if a human could understand her. She had in fact been talking to the bee's, making her own buzzing noises. Many would think her crazy but she had a talent for this kind of thing you see. Conversing with all types of creatures, her brain seemed hard wired into it. She just slipped in to the animals speech without even thinking about it while the animals speech was translated in to her head instantly.

"Im going to see them" she said smiling gently after getting the lay out of the group, with her wings and her legs helping push her upwards, she scaled the tree's effortlessly, her thoughts of her parents completely gone for now, all she wanted to see where the creatures whom had no feathers, whom had no wings. The bee's had informed her of the look out, that was the one she spotted. Being upon a tree a few meters away from him, the lush growth of leaves somewhat hiding her, her chicken legs and blue feathers upon her arms jutting out slightly. It was true....they had no wings, trying to get a better look she cracked a branch, in her panick her footing faltered and the harpy fell from the tree.....right in to view for all to see. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH she screamed as she descended.

She could be so silly sometimes, she was a bird with the ability to fly, she could have halted her movement from within the air at any time but did she? no. She flailed and flailed, ready to allow the ground to take her. Still she squaked, still she flailed within the air until. "OOHMP". Something caught her.....or more so, something was used as a softening device. "I'm....I'm alive" she said, her wings moving, the small crook of one of her wings rubbing against her face, while the other her body. "AHAHAHAHAH I'M ALIVE" she shouted, completely forgetting that there was a bunch of people staring at her, while at the same time completely forgetting that something had softened her fall.

The blue harpy would look to the ground, and as quickly as she could she pushed herself from her cushion, "OH, MY, GOD, I AM SOOOOO SORRY, LIKE SOOOOOOOOOO FRIGGING SORRY" she said as she reached out the same orbital structure that was essentially her hand, until it unfolded in to some sort of feathered like fingers ready to help the red headed man up. "I heard there was wingless around, I'v just......Iv just never seen any, every one else all looks the same with their big beautiful wings. You, you don't have win.....wait a minute, you were up in the tree, how did you get down so fast?, the harpy asked, obvously bewildered by her current predicament, the creature seemed to not care who these people truely were, she was in awe of the fact they were different, not like her but somewhat similiar. The skypeans had never been mean to her, but with the way her parents acted those who were different should be hidden away, she loved her parents dearly but, thats not the life she wanted to live.

"I don't think Wingless are supposed to be around this area, do....do you have your papers......the winged guards check this area regularly. They some times play with Rain, play with her they do, hide and seek, rough tag, fun fun fun. OH OH OH OH OH, Silly me, I'm Rain." she said, bowing softly, bending her elongated chicken legs while at the same time bringing a wing across her chest. "and you are?" she said gesturing to the Songbird Pirate crew.

Her heart was beating quickly, she honestly wondered if the sound of its beating was breaking through her chest and drowning out the words of those around her, a mixture of excitement and fear filling every inch of her body. She had heard stories of the wingless, dangerous, treachourous demons who stole, pillaged and kidnapped all those whom were different, yet a sense of difference calmed her. She seemed so in awe of these people, especially at the mention of the strange fruit. "OH OH OH , I ATE A FRUIT TOO" she said, as if this made them equals. "Yucky yucky fruit" she said spitting at the ground as if the taste once more filled her mouth.

As the captain and his crew spoke, the harpy looked around, a gentle buzzing soon filling her ears, the bee's words flowing through her, her mind automatically translating the speech to humanoid. For now she ignored the words the bee hummed to her, instead it would seem introductions were in order and one by one the captain shoddily introduced them, though in reality the crew seemed to despise this introduction and promptly began striking their captain. She found this odd, yet funny. A giggle slowly flowing from her throat, breaking from her mouth. Covered by her wings to hush it. Eventually she would shake hands with each one. "Pretttty" she said as she shook hands with the woman whom had thrown her shoes. "Kinda big for a girl" she said as she shook Caprices hand, "BIG BIG WINGS, PRETTY SO PRETTY" she said blushing as she was introduced to the winged. "Sleaaaazy mc sleaaaazy" was her answer to Nico.

Yet the buzzing of the bee began to hasten, it began to sink in, she had forgotten in the excitement that she had to return home, to her parents. She didn't want to leave this new group of people though, to a place where she may not get to leave for weeks, perhaps months. Her happy face seemed to grow in to more of a puzzled look, quickly it flashed to one of sadness before her smile returned. "Its a pleasure, yup yup, I'm so glad i got to meet winglesses....and pretty winged" she said blushing again. Yet without warning she turned, with her powerful legs she pushed from the ground jumping in to the air, her wings beating the air to enhance her momentum. A solitary tear gently falling from the right side of her cheek. Was this the last time she would meet such people. "Friends?" she said to the sky, he tone questioning. Yet she continued to soar into the air, flying east in to the sky. She had to return home.

The young harpy soared through the skies, her heart beating so fast. Panic? Nerves? Whatever you want to call it, she had to flee from these people who for some strange reason, she had taken an instat liking too. Her family though came first. So deep in thought she did not at first register the sound user whom had easily caught up with the arial bird like humanoid. A quick jump caused her to lose her flight, stumbling within the air for a mere second before catching herself, continuing her flight pattern. "Family, got to look after family, scared for Rain. Different, bad people want her, bad people might hurt her........Rain always has to stay inside....no follow....no follow" she said gently as she dove in to the tree's, utilizing the vast growth to try to put herself out of the vision of the sound user, of course unaware that he was able to sense her aura. She did not look back, as the tears gently fell. She continued onwards to the house....to the prison of love that she hated.
