It's true what they say: "chains bind us wherever we go." No matter how much we struggle, rules govern us. Some are imposed by society, some are imposed by ourselves, but either way, we are never truly free. Some give up, resigned to this fate, but others? They break free. Those who break free shatter the chains that bind them to fate and turn them into a weapon instead. In a city terrorized by uncertainty those who have the power of Persona are drawn, plagued by nightmares of a grotesque monster. In this moment of darkness and fear, heroes will forge themselves in the crucible of conflict. Will you endure the horror? Or will you fall prey to the Shadows within your mind? If thou art brave enough to combat the shadows within let me ask you this, will you forge your own fate?

Our members have had the following to say about P:RR!

+ The setting combines the darker themes of main-line SMT with those of Persona.
+ The setting is familiar. Most other Persona RPs are set in Japan, which means an abundance of research into the law and cultural norms is typically expected and/or required.
+ The setting is actually detailed. Most other SMT RPs say "Here's the school, here's the park. The Mall, the Shadow World... That's it!"
+ Extremely easy to get involved in!
+ Fluid combat system, even if it takes some getting used to.
+ Creativity is actively encouraged, both in and out of character.
+ On other Persona sites, Velvet Room threads are copy/paste affairs. On PRR, they are dynamic!
+ There's always community comedy in the CB.
+ Highly active and helpful community!
+ The system we use is unique. A mix of TableTop statistics, (optional) Dungeon Masters, all of which has been boiled down to something much easier to use.
