Kenbunshoku Haki:

  • Sixth Sense - Sixth Sense allows the user to feel those who are around them, even if they aren’t visually looking at them. This alertness allows the user to sense and perceive incoming danger within its range of effect based on the amount of intentional killing intent coming from the assailant. Regardless of the amount of people or objects present, this type of sensory cannot be overloaded with information. This ability to perceive a threat undetected by conventional senses only applies to intentional attacks from beings with their own consciousness.

  • Hawk Eye - Sharper, clearer, detailed. The vision of the user becomes crisp and clean, rendering them capable of seeing things that the unaided human eye couldn’t possibly keep up with. Hawk Eye increases the perception of the user by +1 at C-Rank, and an additional +1 perception per every other rank up to SS.

  • Aura Sight - No level of concealment can truly obstruct the vision of someone with this innate prowess. Capable of seeing thru environmental obstructions, the user also gains the ability to see people through the color of their auras through the obstruction itself.

Busoshoku Haki:

  • The Color of Arms - The Color of Arms is a Perk that allows the user to increase their defensive status as their Busoshoku Haki increases in Rank. The more developed the Color of Arms gets, the darker and more metallic the shell encasing the Haki colored limb becomes. At D-Rank, the user’s defensive capability is equivalent to a T1 defensive skill, increasing the defensive ability of Busoshoku Haki by a Tier per every additional Haki Rank after D.
  • Gift of Arms - While every Busoshoku Haki user is capable of producing Armament across one limb of their body simply by having access to Busoshoku Haki itself, it is only those who take the Gift of Arms perk who can expand it to more than one limb at a time. At D-Rank this allows the user to apply Busoshoku Haki to 2 limbs, with each rank after allowing another limb/body part to be covered.
    Note: Gift of Arms can only be taken as a Third or Fourth Perk.
  • Intangible to Tangible - This Perk simply allows the user to strike a Logia user or anyone that is intangible, as if they were physical. But more so than that, it disrupts Logia intangibility as well, so even if the target is in their elemental form, the Busoshoku enhanced limb/item renders them out of the form to be hit. This also effects Devil Fruits like the Gomu Gomu no Mi rendering them vulnerable to blunt force attacks.
  • Augmentation of Busoshoku - This allows the user to apply Busoshoku Haki to items instead of for themselves, giving the item the perks and properties of Busoshoku Haki that the user has already obtained. The amount of items that can be coated are equivalent to how many mediums can be coated through the Gift of Arms perk. Must be taken after Gift of Arms Perk.

Skill Set Name: Ope Ope no Mi
Skill Set Information: The Ope Ope no Mi allows the user to create a spherical, translucent territory with only the very edges appearing in a pale blue (dubbed ROOM). This gives the user the power to manipulate anything within the territory, such as people, cannonballs, and ships, in what is described as a "surgical" manner. As such, while within the ROOM, he is capable of telekinesis, pseudo-teleportation and even telepathy. Through this ability, the user can dismember people from a distance without harming them, lift, move or displace objects of any size and switch peoples' "hearts", which is shown to effectively switch minds.

He is also able to switch himself with other objects inside this ROOM at will, akin to teleportation. Relative to the surgical-theme ability, the user can also release high-voltage shocks and create energy blades that can destroy internal organs, so long as the ROOM is active and the target is inside.

The user can also attach separated parts in any manner he sees fit, such as sticking someone's severed head to a barrel. People separated by this ability are not killed and can still feel their separated parts, regardless of the distance. Separated parts can be reassembled back to normal. However, while separated they can be temporarily assembled in mixed-up ways or "attached" onto other surfaces, including someone or something else's body.

  • (II) Master Mortician – Due to Cyrus’s mastery over his fruit, he has found a way to get the most out of his ROOM creation for the least amount of stamina. As a result the stamina up keep costs have been reduced by 10.

The target will remain amputated until someone puts them back together. The only thing that cannot be cut is obviously Seastone.

Description: This skill was created to simulate a defibrillator in an emergency room. With this technique the user is able to electrically charge their hands or a weapon they are touching and then attack an opponent. While this skill does have the added effect of restarting hearts, as it was designed to, it also has the offensive capabilities to inflict electricity damage on opponents and cause paralysis to the limb/area that is struck by the electricity for 1 post.

Description: This skill allows the user to purge toxins/poisons from another person's body so long as both are with the ROOM. The poisons/toxins do not simply disappear however and must be placed either into someone else or something else (such as a bottle or something of that nature). It is important to note that this skill does not cure someone suffering from poisoning but simply prevents their illness from progressing further until they can receive medical attention. Whatever state they were in right before the skill was used is the state they will remain in until given medical attention.

Description: In surgery an Ablation is removal of material form surfaces of an object through erosive processes. Going off that idea, the user of the Ope Ope is able to surround himself with an aura of invisible radiation that slowly erodes the target's skin or outer materials, stretching out to 1m around him. The aura radiates as a pale green color similar to the color of the Gamma Knife technique. At this tier the radiation can completely erode up to steel materials after three posts as well as the skin of those with less than tier 2 natural defenses. The user is not effected by this skill and can freely move about the ROOM.

Description: The user can control everything in his ROOM once it enters. With this ability the user raises his hand, palm facing outward in a “stop” motion. By doing so the user is able to effectively stop the movement of anything within his ROOM. This allows the user to individually stop up to two targets (certain objects/people/attacks) within the confines of his ROOM. The user can hold this stop for multiple posts but pays the upkeep for doing so. As a defensive skill this skill is able to stop Tier 3 and below attacks/targets. The user is not affected by this stop action and can still move freely.

Description: The precursor to all of the Ope Ope user’s techniques, the user creates a spherical space around his targets, in which he can manipulate anything he wants in a variety of ways; he cannot perform any of the other techniques in this skill set outside of this spherical area. Within the sphere the user can freely move objects less than 100lbs (non-living creatures) with a form of telepathy as well as attach cut objects to one another as if they were always one whole piece to begin with. The user can hold off on the activation of his ROOM by creating a small circle around his hand, which later will expand to form the ROOM itself. At this tier the ROOM can be made 75m in diameter and up to 65m high.

Skill Name: Takt

Description: This technique forces the user to concentrate his telepathic abilities within the ROOM on lifting large objects. At this tier the user is able to lift objects less than or equivalent to a Tier 3 ship/small building. The user can lift things within the ROOM but also up and out of the ROOM. This skill can also be used to raise the ground within the area of the ROOM (up to the weight limits of the skill). The targeted object can then be lifted and dropped up to three times before requiring Takt to be used again.However, once the object leaves the space of the ROOM, the user can no longer act on it unless the object reenters the ROOM. Once lifted the person/object can still move their appendages but cannot move from the location the user puts them until the skill ends. (Marksman can still fire bullets at the user but they cannot get closer to or farther from the user).

Skill Name: Shambles II

Description: Similar to Shambles I, this ability still allows the user to switch the places of objects up to 10m within his ROOM but also allows the user to switch personalities of living creatures. What this effectively means is the user can swap the minds of other people, putting them in one another's bodies. The user must stab towards the intended target either with a weapon or their hands. The targets' personalities then manifest in heart shaped bubbles which the user then switches by moving his hands in the direction of where the heart bubbles should go. The end result is the swapped minds must now relearn their new bodies, resulting in the inability to use any skills above Tier 2 that their new bodies have access to. The minds switch back either at the end of the topic or when the user switches them himself.

Description: Like any good surgeon, the Ope Ope allows the user to manipulate the air in the ROOM and fill it with anesthesia. This makes any living creature within the ROOM grow drowsy the longer they’re in it. After 1 post they’ve lost a tier in speed, two posts a tier in strength, by the third post targets are unconscious. The gas does not affect the user as he plays the role of “anesthesiologist” in this case, but does affect allies found within the ROOM. This skill affects those Tier 3 and below.

Description: The user scans the entirety of his ROOM in the same fashion as his original Scan technique. However, this more advanced version allows him to see individual organs and cores within that of a human/robot. By seeing these individual organs/cores the user can then freely target them with other skills in his Ope Ope arsenal like he would any other object independently of the organ’s host body.

Skill Name: Shambles II: Physical

Description: This is an offshoot of Shambles II where the user can still use this skill to switch the places of objects up to 10m wide/long within his ROOM but instead of switching personalities allows the user to switch degrees of exhaustion between the two targets. What this means is that the target A’s stamina and energy becomes target B’s and target B’s stamina and energy becomes target A’s.

Skill Name: ROOM IV
Tier: 4
Type Devil Fruit
Range: 100m AOE
Speed: Own
Description: The precursor to all of the Ope Ope user’s techniques, the user creates a spherical space around his targets, in which he can manipulate anything he wants in a variety of ways; he cannot perform any of the other techniques in this skill set outside of this spherical area. Within the sphere the user can freely move objects less than 100lbs (non-living creatures) with a form of telepathy as well as attach cut objects to one another as if they were always one whole piece to begin with. The user can hold off on the activation of his ROOM by creating a small circle around his hand, which later will expand to form the ROOM itself. At this tier the ROOM can be made 100m in diameter and up to 90m high.

Skill Name: Radio Knife
Tier: 4
Type Devil Fruit

Description: An advanced version of Amputate. The user charges his sword with electricity in a similar manner to his Counter Shock move and then quickly slashes his enemy, which results in the target being separated into several linear pieces while also suffering an electric shock. The cutting itself, like the Ope Ope no Mi's regular slash attacks, is not harmful; however, it differs from them as it prevents the target from briefly being able to reattach their own body (3 posts), and is meant to be a counter to any abilities where one can re-assemble themselves from the original amputation (ex Buggy and Trebol's fruit, etc.)

Range: ROOM
Speed: Own
Description: The user strikes his opponent in the chest with his bare hand or a weapon, causing the target's heart to expel out of their body, encased in a glass-like cube. This attack leaves a cube-shaped hole on the opponent's body where the heart was. It is important to note that this skill does NOT kill the victim. Since all body parts severed with the fruit's abilities still act as if they were still intact, squeezing or beating the heart-cube inflicts great pain and internal damage to the victim, making this technique suitable for subduing and controlling people. Puncturing the heart will cause instant death as if the heart were still in the owner's body. Those who have had their heart stolen this way suffer an immediate drop in tier of speed and strength.

Within the sphere the user can freely move objects less than 100lbs (non-living creatures) with a form of telepathy as well as attach cut objects to one another as if they were always one whole piece to begin with. Skill Name: Shambles III

Description: This is the ultimate version of Shambles which allows the user to switch the places of objects up to 20m in size and any living creature/person within the room including the user himself. The user activates this ability with simple hand motions or simply pointing at the intended target(s) that will switch with an object such as a cane.

Description: This skill forces the user to concentrate his telepathic abilities within the ROOM on lifting large objects. Once lifted the person/object can still move their appendages but cannot move from the location the user puts them until the skill ends. (Marksman can still fire bullets at the user but they cannot get closer to or farther from the user).

Skill Name: Complete Stasis

Description: The user can control everything in his ROOM once it enters. With this ability the user raises his hand, palm facing outward in a “stop” motion. By doing so the user is able to effectively stop the movement of anything within his ROOM. This allows the user to individually stop up to ten targets (certain objects/people/attacks) within the confines of his ROOM. The user can hold this stop for multiple posts but pays the upkeep for doing so. As a defensive skill this skill is able to stop Tier 6 and below attacks/targets.

Skill Name: ROOM VI
Tier: 6
Type Devil Fruit
Range: 200m AOE

Description: The precursor to all of the Ope Ope user’s techniques, the user creates a spherical space around his targets, in which he can manipulate anything he wants in a variety of ways; he cannot perform any of the other techniques in this skill set outside of this spherical area. Within the sphere the user can freely move objects less than 100lbs (non-living creatures) with a form of telepathy as well as attach cut objects to one another as if they were always one whole piece to begin with. The user can hold off on the activation of his ROOM by creating a small circle around his hand, which later will expand to form the ROOM itself. At this tier the ROOM can be made 200m in diameter and up to 190m high.

Skill Name: Gamma Knife
Tier: 6
Type Devil Fruit
Range: ROOM/Contact
Speed: Own
Description: One of the strongest techniques of the Ope Ope no Mi as the user either generates a knife of radiation or covers a weapon in the energy. The user then stabs the opponent with the Gamma Knife which in turn destroys the internal organs of the target without leaving any mark. The internal organs are flushed with radiation and shredded by the knife. It is nearly impossible to survive this skill and requires SS tiered Bushoshoku Haki to block. Logia users are effected by this skill due to the nature of the ROOM (see Amputate).

Fighting Style: Sword Style
Skill Set Name: Epee Chanson “Sword Song”
Skill Set Information: The Epee Chanson style is an offshoot of PoD, revolving around fencing techniques and stances. The style is a burst style, allowing the user to chain together devastating combos but at the cost of having to bide his/her time for the right opening. The skillset is all about conserving energy and performing attacks in the least stamina wasting form possible. No movement is wasted as the individual skills blend together, building off one another in harmony.

Rather than cuts and slicing, this style mainly revolves around stabs and thrusts. As a result, the user of this style can use the powers of PoD which involve slicing/cutting with their thrusts and jab like movements. For example a wind blade would instead be a wind lance or drill, same principles but more fitting for the style of swordsmanship.
Passives:

  • (III) Accelerated Recovery: Due to the burst-like nature of Epee Chanson, with users needing to burn a large amount of stamina quickly before resting, users of this skillset have mastered the art of recovering stamina naturally. As a result, users of this skillset receive a stamina recovery bonus of 20% when not using these skills. The bonus is only applied if a full post goes by without the user using any skill in the Epee Chanson skillset line and can only be used if the user used a skill/skill chain in the Epee Chanson line in the previous post.
  • (III) Nothing Wasted: Due to the careful and precise movements of Epee Chanson, with no movement being wasted, users of this skillset are masters at getting the biggest bang for their buck. As a result, the user’s skills in the Epee Chanson skillset line require 20% less stamina to perform.
  • (III) Explosive Movement: Due to the necessity of speed for this skillset, the user is able to attain max speeds instantly when using a skill or chain of skills from this line.

Skillset Strengths:

  • Due to the dance-like burst nature of Epee Chanson, users of this skillset can use a single skill in the skillset directly after another skill is used for 25% stamina reduction. This applies so long as the second skill is at least 1 tier lower than the skill preceding it and must occur in the same post. This can only be applied once per post.
  • Any skill in this line can be used in combination with the Ope Ope no Mi's ability to cut anything from any distance within the created ROOM.

Skillset Weaknesses:

  • This skillset is not designed for defensive capabilities. Any defensive skills are only able to deflect or dodge with no real ability to actually block an attack.
  • Due to the burst-like nature of this skillset, after executing a skill (or skill chain) from this skillset, the user must wait a full post before being able to execute another skill from this skillset. IE: 1st post – Skill; 2nd post – Wait; 3rd post – Skill again.
  • For the skillset to truly be effective, many skills require the use of other skills prior to their activation. As a result this skillset can be extremely taxing on the user.

Power of Destruction
Tier 2:


  • Transferring the force of a cut over a distance by swinging the sword at high speed, creating a "vacuum blade" of compressed air; or by simply creating strong winds with sword blows. This is known as a Flying Slash Attack (飛ぶ斬撃 Tobu Zangeki?). The color of these attacks varies between users such as blue, green, purple etc.
  • Cutting things that are usually harder than the sword itself, such as certain types of stone or even steel. The substance usually splits apart a few moments after being cut.

Tier 3:


  • Cutting objects that are thicker than the length of the sword, such as buildings or ships.
  • Channeling elemental power into sword slashes, such as fire or electricity.
  • Imbuing the swords with Busoshoku Haki to increase slicing power, as well as protect the blade from chipping.

Skill Name: Step
Tier: 1
Type Supplementary
Range: 1m
Speed: Own
Description: Step is the fundamental skill of this skillset as it is necessary for just about all of the other skills in this line. A step is a movement of the sword style, something along the lines of a forward step or lunge. On its own this skill does nothing but allow the user to move and prepare attack. When chained together however, it opens up the user to numerous, deadly dances.

Skill Name: Shuffle
Tier: 1
Type Supplementary
Range: 3m
Speed: Own
Description: While step is the fundamental skill of the entire skillset, Shuffle is an integral part of the movement in the skillset. The user moves quickly, often changing directions ever so slightly to throw off the opponent.

Skill Name: Lunge
Tier: 1
Type Supplementary
Range: 3m
Speed: Own
Description: If the user wishes to attack in the Epee Chanson skillset line, he/she must use Lunge at some point to set up for the attack. A lunge is a rather basic technique but one that requires proper training to use correctly. With a lunge the user steps forwards into a low forwards stance and drives their blade forwards with great force.

Description: Guard is a necessary skill for any defensive based skills in the user's arsenal. With this technique, the user pulls him/herself into a defensive stance, blade held out before them, eyes peeled for any opponents that might be coming his/her way, enabling him/herself to react much better to strikes that come after them over the course of the round.

Skill Name: Force
Tier: 2
Type Supplementary
Range: Sword
Speed: Own
Description: A Force is a movement of a sword generally done with a cocking of the elbow and slight twist of the wrist to drive a sword in much harder than it would normally be done. As a result, any dance incorporating Force into it receives a +1 Tier on the destruction list as the sword takes on a drill like property, piercing materials it normally wouldn't be able to. The +1 is added to whatever the highest skill in the chain is.

Skill Name: Akai Hana - "Red Blossom"
Tier: 2
Type Offensive
Range:
Speed: Own
Description: This is one of the most rudimentary dances in the entire skillset line. The user steps forward, lunging forward with his/her blade to stab the target somewhere on his/her body a single time. The skill is all about speed and meant to happen before the target has time to even realize what's going on, never mind react.
Required skills: Step + Lunge.  

Skill Name: Reposte
Tier: 2
Type Defensive
Range: Sword length
Speed: Own
Description: The user steps into a guard stance, readying for the next attack. As the attack comes towards the user, (must be physical) the user flicks his wrist just in time to deflect the incoming attack with his sword. This applies to other weapons, bullets, or even bare hands/feet. This skill does not block an attack, as Epee Chanson is unable to do so, but instead redirects it away from the user. Usually when fighting other weapon specialists this move can be devastating as it opens up a target for an easy follow up attack.
Required skill: Guard.

Tier 3 Skills:

Skill Name: Gōsutosuteppu "Ghost Step"
Tier: 3
Type Defensive/Utility
Range: 25m
Speed: Own
Description: This skill is great for throwing off an opponent's line of sight and directing their attention away from the user's real location. The user moves so quickly and so erratically, usually in some form of a zig zag pattern, towards the user that it creates up to three different afterimages of the user. Without proper perception it's nearly impossible to locate the user.
Required skill: Shuffle

Skill Name: Shinseina ransu "Divine Lance"
Tier: 3
Type Offensive
Range: 30m
Speed: Own/5
Description: The user steps towards the target before stabbing forward so quickly, wind is displaced around the blade. By using Force and twisting the blade ever so slightly, the wind swirls around the blade and gives it a lance/drill-like effect. The sword doesn't even need to touch the target for the attack to connect as the wind displacement can travel up to 30m off the blade moving at tier 5 speeds towards the target and resembles the length and shape of the user's sword. This skill can also be used in close quarters without the need for the wind to come off the blade but instead drill through the target, increasing the potency of the sword's thrust.

Skill Name: Hyakunin no hanagasaku kettō - "One Hundred Blossoming Blood Flowers"
Tier: 4
Type Offensive
Range: Sword length
Speed: Own
Description: This technique is a devastating close range skill that takes the "Red Blossom" technique to the next level as the user unsheathes his sword, stabbing towards the target at such speeds the movements seem to blur together. The sword thrust move so quickly the user himself isn't aware of exactly where they're landing on the target, but the sheer volume of attacks in this single skill makes certain that nearly every inch of the target is struck by the weapon, usually ending with a final count of about 15 sword strikes. The technique usually ends with the user sheathing his weapon and stepping past the target as the cuts register and inflict devastating damage.

What has you character done since they've been the tier they are now?: Cyrus has participated in the Rev/Pirate plot to storm Reverse Mountain and managed to successfully enter Paradise after going toe to toe with Rear Admiral Lilica (both escaped with injuries). Since then he thwarted an early stage Marine attempt to colonize Drum Island and is currently engaged in a Rev arc to weaken the reigning king of Drum Island and free a fellow scientist.
What has changed in your character since the last time they tiered up and what brought on these changes?: He has experienced the true horrors of raw bloodshed in the battle event. Before this he had only ever been exposed to assassinations and small scale skirmishes. Cyrus also invented a new form of fire (Wild Fire registered in his Scientist skillset) which he used in a task. Seeing its potency and destruction has caused him to question his life as a scientist and he now wonders whether or not he's gone too far in his studies.
Why does your character deserve to tier up?: Aside from his abundance of (really over-accumulation) of exp, Cyrus has begun to question the very things that make him who he is. His occupation as a scientist has always defined him but now that he's created something truly terrifying he's unsure if he's gone too far. While killing has never been a problem for Cyrus, this is the first time since the death of his family (history) that he's been exposed to mass killing and bloodshed and it has physically and emotionally effected him.

What has you character done since they've been the tier they are now?: Since tiering up Cyrus has become a Revolutionary Lieutenant, recognized by the Revolution for his talents and skill. He now has two powerful ships under his control as well as several NPCs to man them. He completed his mission (Arc) on Drum Island and dealt a hard blow against the reigning dignitary that lives there by taking his cybernetics scientist who was manufacturing weapons/cyborgs for him against her own will. From Drum he arrived in Jaya where he began speaking with Pirates and former Marines alike. Through various encounters he eventually made an alliance with Junbei Von Echo while simultaneously painting a target on his back for the Allure Organization by killing one of its higher ups. While on Jaya he was also contacted by Asher Kringle and a tentative agreement was forged, though Cyrus is still unsure of what degree he should trust him.

Now Cyrus is making preparations to leave Jaya with his new crew and begin making his way through the Grandline. Things have been getting a little too loud lately and he plans to keep a low profile for a bit to keep his name out of the papers. He plans to travel to Alabasta to search for his wife and child and look more into this Allure Organization that Junbei told him about.

What has changed in your character since the last time they tiered up and what brought on these changes?: After rescuing Dr. Avery from Drum Island, Cyrus learned that his wife and daughter, who he originally thought killed may very much so be alive. Apparently they had been converted into cyborgs to be used as weapons by the World Government. With that in mind, Cyrus has new hope that he could possibly be reunited with his family some day while also having a new hatred for the World Government. Although he was questioning his position and taste for the Revolution last tier, with this new information he is firmly cemented in his place among the rebels.

Cyrus has begun to move away from his lone wolf style, always afraid he'd get others killed like what happened so many years ago. Instead he has accepted his position as a Revolutionary Lieutenant, taking on underlings and ships to be a more formidable opponent for the Marines. Beyond that he has also not only made an alliance with, but befriended an up and coming pirate captain by the name of Junbei Von Echo. He has also made contact with Asher Kringle and while not a friend, Cyrus is open to the idea of working with him in the future so long as he proves trustworthy. The real importance of all of this is Cyrus is actually opening himself up to people on a personal level, which hasn't really happened since before his island was decimated by the Marines.

Why does your character deserve to tier up?:
Beyond just having enough EP, Cyrus has begun to amass a serious force of power and friends to be called upon. He has transcended from the lone assassin he was for so long and begun to take on the power and responsibility of captaining a crew and fleet. He has also obtained the Ope Ope no Mi in this time and with such a powerful ability he is sure to make a lasting impression on the Marines for decades to come.

What has you character done since they've been the tier they are now?: Cyrus has become a land baron since his last tier up, taking over Drum Island and freeing its people from a tyrannical king. During this long and difficult arc he took down a Marine base on the island along with a high ranking Marine official. Moving on he rallied the island civilians, causing a full scale revolution which resulted in the dethronement and death of the king. With the former royalty dead, his own ally, the leader of the island's resistance group turned on him, forcing Cyrus to throw not just him, but the entire castle into the sea where the stone stone user promptly drowned. This was not only a large scale show of force, but paved the way for Cyrus's own dynasty to begin. For these actions and the death of a powerful Marine official, Cyrus was promoted to Revolutionary Captain.

After taking Drum Island, Cyrus was instructed to covertly enter the Reverie in which nobles from around the world were meeting. Disguised, Cyrus learned of the World Government's plans to go to war with the Yonko Oceanus. He would have received more information had it not been for the interruption caused by some unknown terrorist, who decided to bomb the Reverie just as the information was getting interesting. As a result, Cyrus was forced to flee the building and send over the information he had managed to listen in on to his superiors in the Revolutionary Army. Now Cyrus is back on Drum, waiting for Asher Kringle to show up, a man who played a heavy hand in the attack on the Reverie and a pseudo-ally to Cyrus. What Asher wants to discuss he doesn't know, but he's certainly interested.

What has changed in your character since the last time they tiered up and what brought on these changes?: One of the biggest changes happened during the Taking Drum Arc in which Cyrus had the life of a high ranking Marine official literally in his hands. As he held the man's heart in his hands, the Marine begged for his life, a time when Cyrus usually showed mercy. The battle was over, the Marines defeated and those survived being rounded up. Instead of capturing the man and possibly ransoming him off, Cyrus crushed Raphael's heart underneath his foot, instantly and painfully killing the man. He then ordered his crew and the island mercenaries to execute the remaining Marines. These were orders carried out, albeit unwillingly for most. Many of his close crew members were negatively effected by this, seeing Cyrus in a new light that they didn't much care for. As a result a small rift has begun to form between him and some of a his crew members. Cyrus himself attributes this change to "becoming the monsters the Marines make them out to be."
Why does your character deserve to tier up?: A lot has happened since he last tiered up, his bounty has raised exponentially, being well above most Shichibukai's. Cyrus has ranked up within the Revolutionary Army itself, now a Captain and in command of 3 different vessels with hundreds of fighters. He now owns turf, something almost no one else of his generation can claim (save for those spoiled nobles who were simply handed kingdoms) and successfully infiltrated a heavily guarded Reverie and escaped undetected.
