Task:

Naroshi was still on the move, searching around for a person he wasn't really sure of whether or not he'd find. He'd spent the majority of the morning searching around for him, to no avail. His search had brought him all around and throughout orange town, searching anywhere and everywhere he possibly could. From the stores near the center of the town, to the streets of houses and homes that lined up among one another. After spending an hour, Naro was ready to give up.

He moved out back towards the edges of town, stopping somewhat near where he'd first started his search. He found himself at the docks, carrying ships both entering and exiting Orange town, and the vast ocean blue that lead them away from it. He sat down underneath the shade of the ends of the roof to a small store near the center of the street just in front of the docks, that acted as a visor for Naroshi that protected him from the sun. He sat there with the intent preventing exhaustion, Enjoying his brief time to relax and think of other places to look around for his brother.

He was distracted by the people he saw as he sat down, observing them as they moved by. Most of them weren't necessarily out of the ordinary. Marines, civilians, children playing. He liked watching the others enjoy themselves. He knew he'd miss Orange Town and it's residents once he left, but he wasn't even sure at that moment how long it would take for him to get on the move. With his brother missing and marines closing in on the spread of pirates, he wasn't even sure if he could make it off the island. Regardless, he remained optimistic. Only time would be able to tell.

Prince Kaiza
What a beautiful fucking day to be alive, or dead if you despised every aspect of life. Kaiza stood on the roof top glaring down upon the world before him, tightly gripping a mask that he had just taken from some random dude who he caught attempting to mug a women. He glanced down at the mask in his hand before switching his eyes over towards the town once more. Things seemed to be changing, quickly at that, and this sudden gust of change was too much for Kaiza to handle at this point. Ever since he was a young boy things had been changing thus the thought of probably never having a stable life came to be. Granted he was alive and well, he knew what came with being apart of the revolutionary army. He already had a taste of what it felt like to be wanted by the government and from here on out he would probably only become more of a "Menace to society".

The young man yawned before popping a pill in his mouth. This pill was simply a food pill. It had all the vitamins and minerals of a healthy meal for anybody who was too lazy to buy real food. As he looked down he could see someone under a tree, just hanging. For some odd reason his face looked familiar- not like they'd ever met, but familiar from seeing his face around somewhere. The again, he could be mistaken. After all, there were a bunch of people with lengthy black hair and light skin. Lately Kai has been hearing rumors about Marines sweeping the area for pirates or something, but from the looks of it nothing has changed. Hopefully these were just rumors though, because if not this could possibly be the first step to a big problem.

Kaiza needed to clarify this situation as soon as possible and considering the man beneath him had a familiar face, there was a good chance he may know something. Without a second thought Kaiza leaped off of the building whilst simultaneously grabbing something from his pouch and injecting himself with it. This decreased his weight so that he would land without any broken bones. Once he landed he walked towards the man, approaching him with the mask in his hand.

"Yo." With a nonchalant tone and expression he greeted the guy, So much for first impressions.

Naroshi looked up after hearing a slight noise from above in front of where he was currently standing. He was surprised with what he'd seen. A man falling directly down from up above, and landing directly on the ground in front of him, unharmed and unscathed. This feat managed to catch Naro's attention, and he continued to watch the man as he made his way towards him. Naro slightly stood back up, observing the man as he got closer to him. He had short rugged grayish hair. He had a long black jacket and pants, and within his hand was a strange looking gas mask. Naroshi hadn't seen anyone like him since he'd been in the village. He definitely wasn't from Orange Town, that was for sure.

"Yo."

He was greeting him. For whatever reason, Naro hadn't been expecting for the man to acknowledge him. Despite that, he knew that a greeting warranted a response, and he didn't have any intent to be rude.

"Hello there. I saw you take that fall, impressive. Regular people couldn't have done that, that's for sure."

He paused for a moment, thinking of what to say next. He was kind of enjoying the conversation that the two were having, anything that would distract him would be fine enough for him in his eyes. He then abruptly held his hand out forward for a handshake.

"My name is Naroshi, it's a pleasure to meet you Mr..."

He'd end his greeting in a way that would allow him to indirectly ask the man for his identity as well. He wouldn't make his affiliation aware to him off the bat, he was smart enough to know that not everyone would be accepting of a young boy being a pirate.

Look at that, this man actually acknowledged his greatness. He commented on how him landing without being harmed was quite impressive. Perhaps he didn't see Kai inject himself with...well it doesn't really matter. Kaiza noticed how the person before him stood before he could approach him, that was an impressive thing to do too. After all, there weren't many people who were aware of their surroundings in these parts. Where he came from, a person with a bounty for 50,000 Beli couldn't walk out in public.

"Thank you. If you think that's impressive you should check out my other products."

He couldn't help himself. In the midst of a conversation with a stranger he just had to do some advertising. Hell, the struggle was real out here! Beli was well needed in his pockets. The man spoke, stating his name and placing his hand out for a proper greeting. Was he serious? Perhaps he was safe in these parts, but Kaiza wanted. Quickly the grey haired male responded as Naroshi left an opening in his sentence for him to fill. "Hakai. Nice to meet you as well. Obviously his real name wasn't Hakai, but he didn't know that. Hakai was a name that he had given anyone upon just meeting them, he had to be safe and one of the first rules of survival was to keep everything about you a secret.

"I actually came over here to see if you knew anything about Marines sweeping through here. I heard they were trying to-" Kai stopped talking before looking around, making sure that there were no marines around him. Although he didn't even know if the man before him was a marine, it wasn't like he was in danger...he had a good sense of danger. Seeing that there were no marines around, he faced Naro and whispered. "I heard they were trying take out all the pirates and revolutionaries in these parts..."

He listened as the man went on about something Naroshi wasn't entirely sure of, referring to his other "products". Naroshi wasn't sure of what he was talking about, he had no clue at all. Despite that he didn't have time to be confused. He was preoccupied with The man's response to his greeting, watching as he shook his hand and told him that his name was Hakai. Naro made sure that his grip around Hakai's hand was tight and firm, but let up after a few seconds, loosening his grip and placing his hand back over at his side. He then listened to Hakai as he stated his business with Naroshi, telling him that he was wondering if he had any information on Marines moving through the town. If he'd heard about it as well, then it had to be true. He wasn't sure if the marines he'd overheard were just gossiping pure speculation. Someone else was noticing it too. He had confirmed that marines were on the move through from his interaction with the small crew of Marines he'd fought with earlier. The only thing that he still wasn't sure of was of why. Naroshi figured that if Hakai was curious about this as well, then he couldn't have been a marine himself. He could be honest with him, and he could open up.

"I heard. Earlier, there were a few marines talking about something happening in a place called Enies Lobby, and now they're sending in marines to stop more pirates and revolutionaries from coming onto the scene. I'm not sure what happened in this 'enies lobby' place, and to be honest with you i don't know what it is, but that's what i heard. I fought against a group of some of the marines they sent already. I'm not sure if they're sending more, but i'm trying to get out on the ocean before i can find out."

He looked around as Hakai had done earlier, leaning in a little closer to him and lowering his voice to a slight whisper.

I'm a..... I'm trying to become a pirate, and i'm setting out to leave with my brother. The only problem is, i can't find him. I've been looking around for him all day, and i have to get to him and leave before this thing gets way too out of hand."

Hakai listened. And as he listened he realized that he was obtaining some valuable information. He wondered for a moment if any of his colleagues in the revolutionary army knew what was going on? Did Joseph know what was going on? Immediately that was the only person that came to mind... Joseph. Brushing the thought off for a second, Kaiza tuned back into what Naroshi was saying. He stated that he had no idea what Enies lobby was, which was ironic since most- maybe all pirates, revs and Marines knew what that "place" was. Then again, the male did say he wanted to become a pirate, meaning he wasn't one just yet? Nonetheless Kaiza continued to listen. He learned that the man had just recently fought a group of marines, and he also learned that he was looking for his brother.

"Hm. Enies Lobby is just a huge prison for the top pirates, revs and basically anybody who's considered a "Menace" to the government." K looked behind Naroshi and could see a large group of Marines coming. There was two things he could do. Flee, after obtaining the information he wanted, or flee with this dude. Fighting wasn't an option as the two of them were literally in Marine territory. Of course they could fight while they escape in a sense. "Look I know you have to find your brother, but finding him is gonna have to wait... there's about 20 Marines coming our way. We have about 15 seconds to decide what we wanna do. 13....12...."

Honestly, if Naroshi wanted to stay and fight then the young scientist had no problem with that, but they would have a better chance of being safe if they ran. Who knew, with the large amount of marines in this area the two of them may get arrested, or worse; die. This wasn't a game, and Kaiza hopes Naroshi realized that this was the life of a pirate. Perhaps would try to influence him to join the revolutionary army, not many people knew the definition of real justice.

He payed attention to Hakai as he informed him that Enies Lobby was a prison for pirates, revolutionaries, and anyone deemed as a threat to the government. He wondered how he knew that. He definitely wasn't from Orange Town. Naro knew very little about the world around him because of the fact that he had been stationed in Orange Town so long. His father had taken him to other islands when they were all still out on the ocean traveling, but rarely ever let him exit the ship they were traveling on. He knew that it meant there was still much that he didn't know about the life of a pirate, and much more that he'd have to learn.

Hakai then stated that he knew that Naro had to find his brother, but it would have to wait. Saying that there was a group of marines, about 20 of them heading directly their way, and they'd have fifteen seconds to decide what to do. There were more of them? The rumors were true. He thought that he'd taken care of the few from the group that he'd fought earlier, but he did recall them saying that they weren't the only ones. It was already getting bad. He was running out of time. his first thought was to fight, as he knew that it would be inevitable. It was the most realistic choice, but was it the smart choice? He knew that Orange Town was protected by marines, for a long while now. They were always patrolling around the streets at least in groups of two, and if he broke out into a fight with that many marines in public, something bad was bound to happen. Besides, he couldn't only take into account what he would do, Hakai was with him. Another person he'd be putting at risk by fighting. Their best bet would be to try and flee.

Naroshi kept his body facing Hakai's direction, away from where Hakai had been looking and where the group of marines had been coming from.

"We blend in. Walk away, slowly."

He made sure to keep his voice down to a whisper, and then slowly turned himself to his right, walking forward and away from the marines. He made sure to keep his pace steady, hoping that Hakai would follow after him. His heart was beginning to beat faster, and he wasn't sure of the exact distance between him and the group of marines. He couldn't feel the presence of multiple people directly behind him, so he'd assumed that they weren't directly onto his trail.

"Hold on a second there, kid. Going somewhere?"

Naroshi stopped in his tracks after hearing the voice. It sounded as if it was coming from behind him. He slightly turned his head around, and saw what Hakai had warned him of. an entire platoon of marines, aligned up side by side, ten in front and ten in back. In the center of them all was a single average sized man, wearing the marine clothing with an iron sword at his side still within his sheathe. Naroshi looked over to where Hakai had been standing before Naro began moving away. How were they going to get out of this one?

With a nod Hakai turned his body and walked beside his acquaintance. Blend in and walk slowly, that was the plan. It sounded pretty good, but when a sudden voice called out to them that's when things began to get serious. Immediately Hakai turned, perhaps even before his peer. The Marines were literally only about five meters away, and that's when the idea to protect himself came to be. Hakai began at vibrating his foot at extremely high speeds, beyond any human could. As he allowed his foot to touch the ground, the vibrations were sent through the ground before it eventually caused the ground beneath about 4 marines to shoot up, knocking them back and acting as a distraction for the two to begin running. Immediately after using the skill Kai would look towards his partner to see if there was any specific skill he had in mind. Regardless if he did or didn't after seeing that he was ready to go Kaiza began to run. "And we're off!" As Kai's feet tapped against the floor at a pretty high speed, he could hear the marines coming after the two of them. He couldn't really pay attention to Naroshi because he couldn't see him, so without hesitation he began to push and knock citizens over. This was becoming a game, and with the mask still tightly in his hand he was enjoying this game.

Running at his top speed, the young revolutionary turned back to see who was following them and it just so happened to be all the marines. It looked like a mob was chasing the two and the entire seen was something that should be put in the newspaper if you ask me. Still running, Kaiza grabbed two arrows from his back. Now you may be wondering why he was carrying arrows without the bow. A couple of days ago, while perhaps being a bit intoxicated he lost it. Sad case, especially since he was actually pretty decent with a bow. K wasn't too upset about it though, now he wanted a gun. Almost instinctively after grabbing a duo of arrows, he turned towards the Marines and threw two, hitting two random marines in their chest. That was six down, twenty four to go.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Naroshi noticed the ground near him began to vibrate, moving towards the group of marines and sending four of them flying up in the air. Right afterwards, Hakai's eyes would meet his, as if he was waiting for a follow up in response. Was that Hakai who'd done that? That was a strange ability, not one that Naro had seen before. Regardless, he didn't have time to ponder what ability Hakai had used. The fact that Hakai had attacked one of the marines meant now, they were fighting, and if he wanted keep both of them alive, he would have to do the same thing. he'd turn his head in the direction of the marines, kicking his right foot back, and then moving it up and to the side maintaining a great speed.

"Rankyaku!"

A compressed blade of air five meters in length went flying out directly towards the group of marines over the five meter distance between them, at a speed faster than their current distance, and thus giving them little to not time to react. The marine with the iron sword responded almost immediately by unsheathing it, and holding it up to protect himself from the attack. The air blade connected with the entire front row of the marines, sending all ten of them flying back. The marine with the iron sword managed to protect himself from the attack, but dented into his sword heavily, rendering it useless.

He heard Hakai say something, and then began running in the opposite direction of the marines. Naroshi immediately followed after, Running directly at Hakai's side. Hakai turned around, and Naro did the same. There were still roughly half of the marines chasing after them, fourteen. Naroshi watched as Hakai took two arrows out, and threw both of them. The two arrows struck two marines in their chests, sending them falling to the ground. Naroshi didn't plan on either of the two taking the lives of any of the marines, he'd just wanted to get away. Regardless, what was done was done. He knew that it would make both of them look bad in the eyes of the civilians, but right now the most important thing was getting the two of them out of their way. There were now twelve of the marines left, still chasing behind the two of them. The marine with the now useless iron sword was gaining in on them the closest, and he wasn't going to let up. Naroshi sighed upon realizing the only course of action the two of them could take, and then stopped running dead in his tracks, and turned around. He hoped that Hakai would have stopped with him, but regardless he would speak to him with his volume elevated.

"There's twelve left, and we aren't getting out of this unless we fight back. You take six, i'll take six, okay?"

The twelve remaining marines were closing in on them at that point in time, and because of that he'd have to act at that moment, regardless of Hakai's response. There was roughly ten meters between them then, and Naroshi decided to make his move. He moved forward in one full burst, clearing the distance between him and the marines, and in the same instance delivering a punch directly in the stomach of the marine closest to the end of the line they'd formed for themselves. After doing so, he delivered a kick to the marine next to him, and threw the marine he'd punched into the water near the docks as the marine he'd kicked fell to the ground unconscious. He witnessed as the marine with the sword attempted to strike him with his bare fist, and in response, Naroshi did the same. He balled his hand into a fist, and began shaking it at great speeds, and then delivered his punch at the same speed he would have delivered his shigan ability. The hit connected with the man's stomach, knocking the wind out of him and sending him flying backwards at a great speed. As he was knocked back, he connected with three other marines, sending them all crashing into a nearby wooden stand. Six down, six more to go.

Kaiza quickly counted the amount of Marines again. It seemed he was a little over his head, there wasn't twenty four marines, there was more like twelve. As Naroshi suggested that the two fight twelve of them, Kaiza simply nodded before seeing the Marines prepare to attack. In a quick instant Naro seemed to fight a handful, so Kaiza did the same except he was airborne, so defeating six skrubz was far to use. His vibe running ability allowed him to seemingly run on air. Quickly he took the mask out of his mouth and placed it in his carrying pouch before grabbing two arrows and throwing each at his target. That's two. Quickly he moved towards the other two Marines who were trying to shoot, and throw things at him. For a moment they actually defended themselves, but after Kaiza threw another two arrows there was nothing they could do. That's four. Quickly he landed and turned upon seeing two marines making their way towards him with his peripheral. Quickly he kicked, conjuring wind and kicking them back.

Standing straight, Kaiza looked at Naro. Was it over?

"This isn't over just yet." Oh look at that, his question was answered as he turned to see the man who had the iron sword stand up. Blood trickled down his face from his head, but he was still standing and seemingly ready to continue fighting. "I won't let you two criminals get away with this. Look at these people staring at you. You are the enemy, can you not see with your god given eyes?!" The once nonchalant Marine turned into a man filled with rage before he began running with nothing but his hands to back him up. With a sigh, Kai grabbed one last arrow before throwing it, hitting the Marine in his neck, killing him on site. Now he definitely had to leave this town, too many people saw his face.

"Naroshi, we both have to flee. This was fun but you have to find your brother, and I have some unfinished business to take care of." Without even allowing him to talk, Kaiza fled quickly whilst using his "Vibe running technique".

Naroshi watched as hakai defeated his remaining count of marines at six, stopping and then looking back over at Naro. The two had done it, they were safe.

"This isn't over just yet."

The two heard the voice and looked around back towards the direction of it. It was the marine. Dented sword in hand, blood pouring down his face. He was no longer calm, collective. He was beaten and bloodied, he'd lost. And that always tended to bring out the different side of other people.

"I won't let you two criminals get away with this. Look at these people staring at you. You are the enemy, can you not see with your god given eyes?!"

Naroshi took to his advice, and began looking around. Civilians had gathered out, frightened looks upon their faces. As if they were scared, threatened by him. That wasn't his intention. Some of these people had known him for the majority of his life. He knew that they never liked him, most of them didn't. He had always been shunned away from others because of his father's time as a pirate. They never liked him, but he always kept an optimistic view to keep his father's dream alive. What for? The marine was right. They all thought he was the enemy. He was the villain they all shunned away. This wasn't what he wanted, but he was right.

Hakai sighed, and then pulled out an arrow, throwing it directly at the marine, striking him through the neck, and killing him. The people watching nearby let out screams, while Naroshi only stared in shock.

"Naroshi, we both have to flee. This was fun but you have to find your brother, and I have some unfinished business to take care of."

He was let out of his trance by the words, and then allowed his eyes to meet Hakai's before nodding in response.

"Thank y-"

Before he could thank him, the man was off hopping through the air with another strange ability he'd been utilizing. Naroshi knew he couldn't stand there. Too many people had seen him. He turned and did the same, running away from the scene through the crowd, and away from the main streets, sticking to the less populated areas of town.
