Difference Between Deities and Mortals
Have you ever seen something so strange, yeah you have? Have you ever seen an island in the middle of no were? Have you ever actually just been asleep in your room and bam suddenly your on this beautiful island that seems to be protected by some barrier. The weather of the grand line was sporadic, it was ever changing and even the best navigators could be thrown off by the odd weather. Currently the thunder storm boomed, it was in full swing and Melissa began to worry about her crew mates. Obviously it was only logical, if she had last been in the ship before sleeping. Someone had clearly carried her here. Perhaps her crew had put her at what was going to be their camp site before heading to get supplies? Standing up, Melissa would stretch, her back was sore, her arms had indentations from the rocks, her night gown was dirty. "I'm going to kill whoever put me on the ground" She grumbled tiredly. A long yawn escaped her mouth as she looked around. The island was covered in trees and rocks .She couldn't see the ship. She looked to the thrashing sea and confusion set in.

"What the fuck" She would say completely surprised. It was raining on the outside of the island yet the entirety of the island was free from the rain fall. "This shit is strange" Melissa would say to herself. Thankfully the cold did not bother her, if she had been your average girl well, she would most likely have frozen to death well before now. Yet the bare footed female would gently begin to walk. The lush grass seemed to curl at her feet as she walked, yet her mind was probably imagining it. As she got to the forest she would look back to the place she had been. She could have sword the grass had gotten longer. Shaking her head the female would push through in to the forest. Walking through the forest she could smell scents so strong it made her somewhat sick. The smell of nature was so powerful. Yes this included the dung of animals whom lived within that nature. She could not control the wretching, surely this was some nightmare, what was going on, why was she walking through a forest when the last thing she could recall was penning the letter to her ex.

Difference Between Deities and Mortals
Prior to entering the grand line, Melissa had left the love of her life, she needed to live her life for her and not for others. She knew if love was meant to be, then it would be. She had penned about a hundred letters to him but never sent them. It was not fair for her to break up with him and then want to be comforted by his arms. "Ugh, Stop dwindling on the past you idiot, your in some kind of jam" Melissa would say to herself. What she meant by this was, she had exited the forest heading straight. Yet her destination which was the ship was not here. In fact it was as if she had came around in a circle, for she was back were she had started. So she certainly wasn't in Kansas any more. The sad thing was she couldn't even swim. Yet the thunder storm had subsided and now the sun shone. The young girl's white silk nightie flowed behind her as she walked, wind seemed to pass through the rain proof barrier. Standing upon the edge of the island Melissa would look over the sea. Could she fly? she couldnt see any islands near by.

"Go for it my dear, see if you can survive" A voice sounded through the tree's. Turning to see, Melissa could not find the source of the voice. Yet it continued to speak. "So your what is left of him" The voice said. "LEFT OF WHO?" Melissa shouted in reply. "Why my dear, who do you think. Your father of course". This stunned her. Melissa had forgotten, her father was a famed pirate, he was incredibly famous in the grand line. His crew, the Ancients had done many a deed good and bad. But how did this voice know that she was related to him. "How do you know my father, how do you know I'm even his daughter" Melissa asked the trees. Oh god she felt crazy, surely this was just a night mare. Giving her face a slap, and a pinch to the arm. The pain would give her the realization, that this was real. Biting her lip gently Melissa would shake her head. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE" She shouted to the voice. "WHO ARE YOU, HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS AND WHY HAVE I BEEN SUMMONED TO A PLACE IN WHICH I CAN'T LEAVE"

"I am Gaia, the mother of earth" the voice would say. From the tree's stepped a creature. She took Melissa's breath away. HEr entire body, her form was beautilful, Her hair was as green as the greenest grass, knotted into a beautiful braid which flowed into glowing tree branches. Two large flowers  yellow in colour attached to her ears. She stood taller than Melissa, easily at 7 foot. She was nude, no clothing stuck to her but she didn't look naked. Moss covered her genitals and nipples. Flowing over her breasts and down her shoulders. Rocks stuck in to her skin yet looked beautiful shining as the water fall streamed from either side of her neck down both arms. Flowing getting bigger as it reached her legs and then...it vanished. It did not hit the ground. Were she stood flowers of un-parralled beauty grew. HEr wings, her wings were gorgeous. almost as large as she was, with literal mini animals roaming around. Tigers roared and rolled around, antelopes grazed and birds flew around the base of the wings. There was nothing but uniqueness flowing from this woman, and she radiated an aura of power. An aura of surreal energy.

"Y...your beautiful" Melissa uttered before she could catch herself. "Why thank you my dear, and your not to ugly yourself. But to answer your question. Your father wronged me. Your father took something that belonged to me, he assumed because it was not the way i wanted it, that i would simply discard it. That i would throw it away, he did not know me at all. That pathetic wretch of a man. His animalistic tendancies could never compare to the beauty of a primordial one." Gaia would say. "Then again he didn't really know did he" The beautiful woman would say before shifting in to a new form. A plane form, a beautiful older woman who shared many similiarities between Melissa and the primordial one. "He had no idea such powerful fruits existed, so powerful that the spirit of the fruit, the power can spawn its own mind, That is the power of the Kami Kami No Mi Models you see, eventually the power of the gods will transform the mind of the human host, oh but look at that, I'm getting of track my dear. You see I actually have something to give you, Your father like i said stole something from me, whether i want it or not that is up to me. As that miserable old basta........"

Difference Between Deities and Mortals
The creature raised her hands, the earth wrapped around her and Melissa. Enveloping her like a shell. Try and try as she could, she was unable to break through the powerful earthen flower. She felt movement, she heard the ground separating from itself as they passed. The girl within her night gown would hold on for dear life. it would seem that the earth like flower was tight enough that her snow body could not escape. Essentially, the woman of the snow was caught. Fear gripped her, it gripped her very core. She was sick of this, she was sick of the fact that since entering the grand line, every single unknown and every single what if, frightened the living shit out of her. She was petrified and she knew full well that this fear would only consume her. Taking a deep breath as they moved. The young girl would breath in and out slowly. Sitting upon the ground she would think to herself. "She's a Zoan, mythical based, she's the earth mother. She knew her father, she knew that her father had many enemies, but he had never had the chance to tell Melissa exactly what she was able to do. or anything about her really.

Then it bloomed, screaming, peoples screaming could be heard. The earth like rose opened and Melissa Devaroux emerged in to some strange town. There looking at her was the fairy. "What did you do" Melissa asked "I brought us somewere more fun. I like a crowd before i kick someones butt" Gaia would say, a twinkling sound in her voice."Yeah, well good luck with that you bitch" Melissa would say standing at her full height. In her little nighty she didn't look much like a threat, everyone laughed at her. Yet she stood strong. "Come on" She said. Giving Gaia the first move Melissa would clench her hands. She waited for the primordial force to make her move yet she did not. She wouldn't move. Melissa understood, she charged in. The wind blew around her as she moved. Her night gown flowing softly. She got close enough and pushed of the ground. Her fist connected with the face of the primordial one and in true fashion, she was pushed through the air and in to the nearest building. The crowd gasped as the creature flew through multiple buildings, yet she would recover

Her loud, powerful laugh caused the earth to shudder, she moved her hand and soon the yuki yuki no mi user was sent flying through the air. She was unable to call forth her intangibility, she could not force the earth to pass through her. Instead she was sent soaring through the air. Before she could recover, the earth moved underneath the soaring woman. She was being juggled, kept from officially recovering. Pillars of earth soon came to squish her. Yet she managed to push them away. As she touched down upon the ground once more her feet would soon be tangled in a mess of vines, restricting her movement. As the creature of earth shot towards her Melissa conjured up her own devil fruits power. Hands of snow dove forth, grasping the creature, plucking her up. The pain in Melissa's body was un-real, she had been so badly hurt during such a small scuffle. She could tell there were fractures,  yet she wasn't getting any answers, she wasn't getting anything from it. This thing was just toying with her. The Gaia fruit was clearly an incredibly powerful fruit, Melissa's logia ability seemed to be hindered whenever she touched down upon the ground.

The creature of earth was superior to Melissa, her godly power, her essence her very presence was pushing down on her. How do you fight something that can tell your movements, how do you fight something whom has the very earth as her power source. Melissa had done some damage, creatures of larger size, stronger in armour would have crumbled against her ferocious power but each time the earth rose to heal the creature, each time she healed and came back with a vengence. It was hopeless. "Its a shame that you are Raptors Legacy, Your power is nothing compared to his, he knew my secret, he knew how to beat me. He was the first to do so and the last. Alas my dear it is time for this to end. You shall become my final revenge." the creature of earth said, a wicked smile upon her face. "My children, those whom have consumed the mythical fruits of my childrens essences, they are at work, you shall have no chance of escape, you shall forever remain within the earth my child. And all these people shall learn that Melissa Devaroux, is nothing more than a weak scared little child."

Lying, broken upon the ground. The elegant fist bested, her hands twisted in directions that they should not be facing.Earth punctured her shoulders, her abdomen. Blood trailed from her left eye. The eye itself within the hand's of the creature. Her legs had been shattered, her entire form completely annihilated. Her good eye was unfocused, blurred. Her mind broken, shattered from the experience. She felt as though the earth in her body was taunting her. Moving around through her. She was going to die here. She was going to be lost and her crew, her friends. Her love would never know what happened to her. She had died at the hands of godly power, no primordial power. Perhaps that was the best send of she could hope for. Her mind had already faded, she had accepted death about two hours ago when the torture had already been half way under way. THe people of the town seemed forced to remain, rooted to the earth. Gaia's concentration was about at forty percent yet she had managed to completely annihilate the logia user. Gaia was speaking, she was talking yet Melissa was unaware of what she was saying. Something moved to her mouth, she could not fight back. Her eyeball was placed within her open maw, the iris facing the creature.

"Oh poor Melissa Devaroux, i bet your wondering what your father stole from me, what he took from me, or well more precise" She would say as her form changed, revealing her human shape once more. "What he took from this form, what he took from the beauty" She would give a laugh before bringing herself to look into Melissa's good eye. She stared in to it for roughly ten seconds but yet it felt as though an eternity had passed by. Melissa's mind had focused upon her voice now, "What he took from Morticia Devaroux, was you" and then, the sound faded. Everything darkened and that was the end.

She awoke in the ship, her memory fuzzy, a creature, pain...so much pain...people...a town looking on as she was destroyed over and over again. No it was a dream, it was all a dream. She would breath rapidly, in and out trying to regain her senses. Her memories of the dream were fuzzy, she couldn't remember the creature only its pixie like form, she could remember pain...and darkness but..but it didn't matter. It was only a dream. Flinging the covers from her body she would stand up and head towards her mirror, grasping her hairbrush. Yet it would falter from her grip as she looked to the mirror. Her silk white gown was covered in dirt, drenched in blood, her scream would ring out on the ship, the nightmare had only begun.
