There wasn’t an ounce of sound that sounded like someone running towards the Fishman’s location. He at first wondered if he should go after her, thinking she needed help, but then he heard a splash. Did someone fall overboard or was it Reinaka in need of the Fishman’s help? Regardless of what it was, he decided to follow the sound and punched the giant crustacean on the head. He then pointed in the direction of the sound.

Don’t worry I’m on the way.

The sea decided to be angry and splashed a lot of water onto the aquatic humanoid. Thankfully, since he was a child of the ocean, it didn’t really bother him much. After he shook his hair dry, he noticed something floating and kicked the lobster so that it would hurry towards whatever it was. Tai was glad that it turned out to be the person he was searching for instead of a marine.

“Great,” he said, holding out his hand to pull the fallen Skypiean onto their ride, “We’re getting the hell out of here.”

The Fishman then kicked as hard as he could while he pointed in the direction of the island. The beast decided to head for it so that it wouldn’t have to deal with the aquatic humanoid’s fists again. It too wanted freedom, but was still upset with the man who attacked it. Waves after waves collided with the side of the monster, but not enough to wash any of the passengers off.

A few minutes passed by and Tai felt as if they had been traveling for a day. When he saw the island in his view, he figured it would be close. Out of the corner of his eye, the Fishman realized the sun was starting to rise. A grumble escaped his mouth, remembering that he hadn’t slept yet.

Guess I’ll just sleep when we get there.

That was his wish, but sadly since he had a price on his head, he knew that was an impossible dream. He wondered if he was ever going to be able to sleep with both his eyes shut ever again and that’s when they suddenly closed. He was tired and needed to rest, but a big wave of water splashed his face and awakened the Fishman.

“ARE WE THERE YET YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING,” he yelled at the crustacean and was about to strike it again.

Thankfully, Tai didn’t have to. They were within swimming distance of their location and while he saw no more use for their transportation, he knew that Reinaka was injured. No, he had to depend on the lobster longer than he hoped for.

Reinaka gripped the back of Tai with her freehand and the lobsters shell with her thighs, fighting tooth and nail to keep her balance on the bouncy, disheveled waves. They needed to get to the island and get invisible real quick! Dawn was approaching and the marines would no doubt send out a search party to apprehend them for what they'd done on the ship. Reinaka still couldn't believe how that went down. It was supposed to be a harmless little stow away, jump on jump off. Easy. None of that was supposed to go that way, no one was supposed to die. But they did, and it was their fault.

This guy she was grapping on to for dear life. Who was he really? He had no trouble killing that man, and no remorse. He was as close to a monster that she'd ever come. But still, he saved her life. He didn't abandon her and he was constantly looking out for her, despite his obvious apprehension to it all. Never in a million, billion years did she think she'd befriend someone like him, in all the blues she couldn't have guessed that a Fishman like him would wind up being her partner.

Would she become like him? Even if she weighed it from a non-existential point of view, would she become a pirate like him? Her mug on a wanted poster? She always knew she wanted to live free but did she imagine she'd go to these lengths to do so? Could you truly be free in a world like theirs and not be labeled an outcast, an enemy of the World Government, a pirate? Maybe not... still, as the ocean mists hit her face, she pressed her head into his back, the only solid, real thing in the world at that moment.

"Thank you, Tai."

After a while they finally managed to get to the shore, she hopped off the lobster and left Tai to either say his goodbyes or do whatever it was that sea creatures did when they had to part. He'd tamed the beast so quickly that she thought maybe they knew each other. But maybe that was a bit racist to think so she said and did nothing. Instead, she scouted and searched for a place that they could lay low. After asking around a bit, she was told of a small inn not to far from the port that would basically take in anyone and ask very little questions. If the place had that kind of reputation it might not have been the best idea to head there but they were a wounded Skypiean and a Shark... could they really afford to be picky?

"There's a inn that we can crash at Tai, if he hurry we can clear this area before the marines even dock."

The inn was raggedy, but lively still. It was very early in the morning to be serving but they seemed to only be setting up for the morning rush. Reinaka found them a table and sat down, resting her head against the adjacent wall. She couldn't believe they'd made it out of that. It was unreal. But they had, and it was real, and real problems were soon to come most likely.

What time was it? Lee hadn't the slightest idea. After yesterday's workout, he was spent. So much so that he didn't even bother to change out of his clothes, nor take his sword off his side. As he stumbled out of his room and into the hall, he could hear the bustling noise of newcomers to the inn.

"Great," Lee sighed, running fingers through his tangled mess of hair. If his senses didn't deceive him, he smelt the tantalizing scent of breakfast. More specifically, bacon. His stomach growled so loud that, if anyone else was around, they'd think a monster was in his room. He didn't know if he could talk his way into breakfast as well as the room. It was just one sword he was trading. A nice one at that. He stepped back into his room and fetched it from the closet. He supposed if he could barter his way into breakfast, everything would be alright.

He made his way down the stairs, slowly because he was still a bit off balance from having just woken up. With a loud yawn, he reached the bottom of the stairs and was met with a rush of people all around. He looked them over carefully, and none of them seemed familiar. Good. Captain Illan shouldn't think to send scouts here. Far as he knows, Lee should still be back on Dawn Island. He supposed it wouldn't be too dangerous to relax a little, so with a sigh he let go of that burden for now.

He approached the counter and waited for the owner. He was an older man, not quite white haired, but he'd seen his fair share of years. He looked directly at Lee, nodded towards him, then looked towards the sword and sheathe in his hands. Lee smiled and handed it over.

"One of my finest, if I do say so myself. I thought about keeping it, but my sword has a feel miles on it yet before it needs replacing." Lee smiled, ensuring the man that his work was the finest. The man seemed pleased.

"This is a fine blade. One I'll be glad to pass down to my son, and he to his." The man bowed, thanking Lee for the blade, but he'd already gotten a room, so they were pretty even. Before he could even ask, the innkeeper's wife came over with a plate of food, and Lee's eyes lit up like the sun.

"T-- thank you ma'am." Lee managed to get out before he buried himself face first in a pile of bacon, eggs, and sausage. He came up for air finally and turned towards the door, as he heard the bell ring to signal someone had entered.

An injured girl came through the door, and a fishman followed. Ordinarily Lee wouldn't have thought much about a fishman being here, having met his fair share of civilized fishmen in the past, however if the rumors he heard were true, he figured he better warn them.

He thanked the innkeeper's wife and walked over to the table where the injured girl had rested herself. He couldn't offer much in terms of medical attention, but at least he could let them know about the fisherman, or the rumors he's heard so far.

"I hate to bother, but sir, you and your friend might want to be wary around here. Ever since I came to this island, I've heard talk of a guy who calls himself The Fisherman who hunts fishmen. I don't know your story, and I'm not quite sure what compels me to tell you, but I'd be careful around here." Lee warned, resting his chest against the table as he spoke. He might have slept for awhile, but it was going to take a bit for him to fully wake up.

❝ WHAT LIES AHEAD INTRIGUES ME, ALMOST AS MUCH AS CANDY. ❞

Early morning in Orange town, the birds chirping, the sun shining and the morning dew slowly evaporating. This humble town had given Owen a great adventure. He had recently solved the dilemma of barking cows and weird animals. It had only been a few days now since he recovered from the injuries of that encounter. He had to deal with a far stronger mad scientist but he somehow managed that. It had gone pretty quiet after that, Keiji and Grimpot had gone missing. He had only been acquainted with them but he liked those guys. It was sad to not meet them again. For now, he was sitting at the table next to the window waiting for his breakfast. The raggedy dusty inn had been where he ate his morning meal before roaming around aimlessly at the town. It was about time that he would leave this island, it didn’t have much to offer now. And he really wanted to see more of the beauty that the sea offered, he wanted to sail and explore.

Dressed in a black loose fit full sleeves t-shirt with a baggy jeans and the inconspicuous overcoat that was made of iron, he was lost. Lost in a day dream about what the seas may hold and what the future may bring. There was just so much to see, so many stories that he had heard. He wanted to see all of it for himself.

It was then that he heard the door of the inn open and in came two unusual individuals. He had only heard a rumor about them, didn’t think it was true. Like all the others around him, Owen too stared at the fishman and the lady with wings, injured ones at that. Curiosity got the better of him when they sat down and then soon after a young individual like himself approached them. Their voices were inaudible from his current location. He just couldn’t contain it so he stood up and walked towards them with his hands in his pockets. He approached from behind the fishman and came to a halt right next to him. ”Wow, you really are one of those fishmen, aren’t you?” said Owen impolitely staring at the shark faced individual. It was a bit rude but really, he was just amazed at this individual in front of him. ”I had heard stories but I thought they weren’t true. You are a fishman, right?” he said once more before allowing the fishman to answer the previous question. Well, the answer was quite obvious but for someone who had seen a fishman for the first time; the reaction was a bit justified. He then walked over to the lady with wings, observing them as he moved to her right and then her left: ”Those are real wings, wow.. this is amazing. But.. you look hurt, are you okay?”. Sure he was curious and amazed but he was caring at heart, he couldn’t see someone injured and ignore it.

Realizing his impoliteness, Owen stood straight and put a candy in his mouth to calm himself down. ”I apologize if I seemed rude, I allowed my curiosity to get the better of me. I’m Owen Sharp, nice to meet you all”, he introduced himself looking around the table. For a pirate, he didn’t have the persona; perhaps the stereotypical pirate was not his forte.

The Fishman was thanked, but it really wasn’t needed. Sure he probably saved the fallen angel from drowning, but he’d do the same for anyone. Why let someone die when there was always an option to save them? If it was a marine, that’d be a different story. While he started to drift off to the land of dreams, the lobster finally made it to the Island.

“About time,” he muttered under his breath as he jumped off.

Tai then watched as Reinaka walked off and wondered where she was going. He also wondered if he was needed still, but a crunching sound from the crustacean interrupted him. Apparently the beast wanted to say goodbye and thank the aquatic humanoid for its freedom. Normally he’d probably accept the kindness, but he was grumpy from lack of sleep.

“WILL YOU JUST GET OUT OF HERE!” he shouted and then kicked the beast so that it would fly elsewhere.

A shaking fist could then be seen as it landed in the water about ten meters away. The Fishman took it as the lobster’s way of saying, ‘I’ll get you back someday!’ That’s when he shot a grin back at the beast. He liked a challenge and looked forward for whatever the crustacean had for him. As Tai focused back to reality, he heard his partner mentioning something to him.

“Great,” he responded back, “I need a place to sleep…”

Quickly, they then headed for the inn and walked right inside. There was an aroma of food, but the aquatic humanoid had no intention of filling his face. He waited for Reinaka to pick a table and after she did, he sat down and slammed his head onto the table so that he could sleep. His slumber, however, was short lived. A mysterious stranger came out of nowhere and mentioned a Fisherman.

Directly after that, someone else showed up and hammered Tai with questions. A small growl escaped his mouth as he lifted his head up and then he stared at the two young men. His eyes had the look of a man who was very upset.

“CAN’T I HAVE A MOMENT OF PEACE SO THAT I CAN SLEEP!” he yelled and calmed down some, “Sorry, I haven’t had much sleep. Yes I am a Fishman, and no the stories aren’t true unless you anger me, and then I will make them come true.”

The aquatic humanoid was about to sleep yet again, but then came to a crashing stop. He remembered what one of the men said and it was as if a screw in his mind zipped out of place. A human was hunting… Fishmen? It’s not like he really cared about his brethren, but should he just sit still while there was a hunter that only went after men like him?

“Well,” Tai said as he stood up and then started to walk towards the doors of the inn, “Guess I need to draw the punk out.”

Reinaka's head was spinning. It was the first time she'd sat down in hours. That trip from Loguetown was made incessantly rigorous all because she'd chosen teh wrong uniforms to snatch up. If only they'd gotten to regular ass grunts with no duties except to fill a space, they'd have been fine. Instead, all hell broke loose, they had to cook an entire meal for hundreds of marines and kill people. What was Reinaka becoming?

This wasn't what she envisioned her journey to find a home would be like. She was hanging out with a known pirate and being attacked by marines. She wouldn't have been surprised if the next time she saw a board of wanted posters her mug was smack dead in the middle of them all. This fucking sucked. But... she'd never felt a thrill quite like the one she'd be riding all night. It was, dare she say it, fun! No one was telling her what she couldn't do. She was the boss of her life and it felt good.

It all felt good... until... voices began to disturb them. What in the hell? One after another they were approached by random guys, talking and asking questions and downright being annoying. As if they were synced, Tai screamed out both their frustrations at the encroachment. Jesus. All they wanted was a little piece. Of course they weren't going to care about some fisherman chasing Fishman. And while the act struck her more than it would have a few days ago, now that she was paired with Tai, she still didn't see any reason for them to get....

Involved?

"Wait, what? You need to draw him out? Tai what the hell you talkin' bout, you idiot? We don't need to do any....."

She was falling on deaf ears... Fucking hell. They'd only have a minute tops of peace and relaxation. Not even a minute. And now he was already running into another situation. She got it. He was a Fishman and shit like this sucked but why did they have to handle this themselves?

"Oohh hell.... Move out of the way!"

She pushed past Owen and whatever the fuck the other guy's name was and ran after the pea-brained shark face. Once she'd caught up to him, she tried to reason him out of the decision but he didn't seem to be paying her any attention.

"Tai, please! I get it. Hunting Fishman is fucked up, but... we don't exactly need to be drawing attention to ourselves. Ughhh... fine. Have it your way. Why not just go to the very pier the marine ship is docking at and wave around a sign that says "Fishman Here for Capture"? If the Fisherman doesn't come for you, the fucking marines sure will."

Hmph. She folded her arms and scowled, but kept pace with him all the same. She supposed they were sort of a duo now... and then she looked behind her and found the other guys trailing them. Great. Fucking great.

Lee's eye twitched as the young man who approached after him spouted out his questions at the top of his lungs. He had been being inconspicuous, now all eyes were on them. If this wasn't enough to get the Fisherman's attention, this 'Tai' wanted to go out and draw him out anyway. For whatever reason, when Lee told him, his face shifted from exhaustion, to pure determination. He wanted to fight the guy, immediately. He didn't care about being at the top of his game, he just wanted to fight. Lee smiled, but grew concerned for the girl with wings.

Lee had never seen one of her kind before, but he'd heard stories. Though he was raised with the moniker, believe nothing you hear, and only half the things you see. Tricks were easy to pull, so you shouldn't go rushing in to things half baked just cuz someone is using smoke and mirrors to make themselves seem mighty. Whatever the girl's abilities, she was hurt, but she got up to follow her friend anyway. She was barking at him for being stupid, not that Lee disagreed, but she was in no condition to be getting involved here.

"Miss, if I may intrude," Lee said, gently placing a hand on her shoulder as to get her attention, without fear of hurting her, "I will lend my aide to you and your friend. You're clearly in some sort of trouble, and in no way can I sit by and watch you exacerbate your wounds like this. So long as you promise not to fight, I will make sure you and your friend stay safe." Lee explained the terms of his service.

He was probably going to get involved anyway, but if he could stop this girl from hurting herself more than she was already, he'd be happy. She certainly had a fighting spirit, despite her wounds she was still very confrontational towards the fishman. Besides, maybe fighting alongside a fishman would better prepare him to face a fishman. That is, when he finally face Captain Illan.

He stepped past the girl and to the fishman's side. If he was so confident in himself against a man known for hunting fishmen, then he must be one hell of a fighter. Lee was going to enjoy this. It'd been awhile since he fought anybody, he was trying to keep his abilities under wraps, but it looked like the cat was about to be outta the bag.

His father told him about these ancient techniques, and how dangerous and feared they were. He called this particular one Lee had become capable of using 'Hell's Curse' because advanced users could manifest fire from their blades. Lee wasn't quite that advanced, but the skills he did have were pretty effective.

"Hey, Tai, was it? If you're really as strong as you put off... well I hope this Fisherman is ready for a rude awakening."

Introductions were probably not Owen’s forte. He realized this when almost a similar scene happened to what happened when he met his previous acquaintances. He remembered clearly that not too long ago, he met Keiji and Grimpot. Both had ignored him in a similar manner and had run off to a bar. Being curious he had followed them and then had been introduced to the two later on. Sadly enough, the same thing happened. All of three simply paid almost no attention to Owen and set off after someone. Sure, Owen had spouted out a tone of questions but given his situation he was justified. Owen was a curious one and he liked asking about the things he hadn’t seen before. He was intrigued by new things, he loved to find them and he liked people in general. These guys seemed rude at first but it was only after their reaction that Owen understood their reason.

The fishman’s immediate reaction depicted that he was suffering from sleeplessness and restlessness, the same was the case with the injured winged lady. As he introduced himself, the fishman got up and left saying something about drawing someone out. Considering his tone, he probably didn’t meant the artistic type of drawing. Disagreeing with her friend, the female followed after and the other young individual at the table followed them. Calmly Owen walked to the table, paid for his breakfast and then walked behind them. ”I guess I’m headed into trouble again but oh well, it’s more fun this way. And there’s a fishman and a winged lady involved, so it’s probably worth it”, thought the candy loving individual as he ran after them. Oddly enough, when he had followed Keiji and Grimpot; they had indulged into the matter of the barking cows and then proceeded into solving the entire matter. That ended in Owen fighting a pretty strong scientist though and it was not a pleasant experience. He realized at the time that he was weak and against a veteran, he was probably a gold fish in a pool of sharks.

”Hey wait up!!” shouted Owen as he reduced the distance between him and the other three. He finally caught up to them and assuming that the other two wouldn’t talk to him, he directed his question to the other young man. ”Where are you guys headed anyways? Shouldn’t these two get some rest? They don’t look in the condition to be walking around”, he said expressing his concern. Owen had said those words loud enough for both the fishman and the winged lady to hear them. Though they hadn’t replied to them so this time he thought it would be better to try the more talkative individual.

As the group walked, the fishman got quite the attention. People stopped and stared at the group as they walked by. The lady with wings was not a usual sight either and to top it off, her wing was injured. Owen could hardly contain the questions that kept popping up but assuming this was not a good time, he didn’t say much to them.

Sleep deprivation did wild things to one’s mind; one example was making them unaware of what kind of condition their body was in. No matter how many times he was told to think, he didn’t want to listen because he wanted to teach the so called Fisherman a lesson. Suddenly, as he tried to open the door, his body started to feel numb. It was then that he realized he actually needed some rest.

Right after he was able to do exactly what Reinaka asked of him, he heard that the men wanted to tag along. With help, he thought that even if he was not fit for battle, he’d be able to come out alive. Tai spent more time pondering what he should do and then he finally came to a decision. The Fishman hated the option that he chose, but it couldn’t be helped.

“Alright,” he said with a yawn, “I’ll rest and then teach him a lesson. Chances are he’ll probably find me anyways since he’s a hunter.”

While the aquatic humanoid wanted things to seem as if he did what he did for his own well being, that was far from the case. The winged woman was injured and she was likely to tag along if he went. He’d never forgive himself if her condition worsened just because of his reckless attitude. With his decision finally made, the Fishman spotted a random man in the corner of the room.

“Hey you,” he approached him, “Go spread the word around town that there’s a Fishman here and he’ll met any challenger in the alleyway behind this inn at sundown.”

Since the human feared what Tai would do should he decline, he quickly ran out of the inn. It was a plan that the Fishman didn’t exactly like, but he was counting on word to spread like a wildfire. Surely if the man was the Fishman hunter that he was hyped up to be, he’d come after hearing a challenge. The aquatic humanoid also hoped that sundown would also give him the time that he needed to rest.

“Anyways,” the tired out man said, “I appreciate you guys coming along, what were your names again and tell me about yourselves while we wait?”

It was probably weird for him to do small talk when he should sleep, but the Fishman was interested in the strangers’ names if they were readied to rage war with someone they didn’t even know. He figured he at least owed that much to them.

Time then passed rather quickly as the group waited for the sun to set. Right as the sky started to grow dim; Tai looked out the window and realized that it was time. He also heard a bunch of people talking about the Fisherman’s new game and smiled because the rumor that he started actually paid off. All that was left was for the Fishman to go to the fight location.

“Looks like it’s time,” he said as he stood up, “Anyone want to back out, now would be the time.”

Reinaka stood there for a long while, her hands crossed over her chest, tapping a foot incessantly as they all stood there, huddled in the sun. This was so stupid. Tai was crazy for making them do this but he clearly had it all figured out in his head and despite how roughed up they'd been, her in particular, he was going to face this fisherman today.

"This...is sooo stupid," the winged girl mumbled under her breath. What were they? Little kids? Was this the meet and greet portion of the class? She looked around at both the new boys, eyeing them with enough suspicion to suggest that maybe one of them was this infamous fisherman. It was a stretch to be sure but who knows maybe they could be.

"Well... I'm Rei-Rei. The idiot to my left that looks like he's going to fall asleep at any moment is Tai. If you're gonna tag along, well, I suggest you try not to get yourselves killed. I've seen enough bodies for one day."

She ended it there, exhausted of the apparent effort it took to be cordial at a time like this. Still, keeping up the tough girl routine was tiring, and she was too tired to be doing tiring things. She sighed and took a squat onto the ground, reaching over to run her hand over her sprung wing. It was feeling better but she still wasn't sure she felt up to fighting some big bad racist killer...

"I am Lee Aeromar. I'm a blacksmith." Lee put blandly. He didn't much feel the need to hype up his abilities. He interlaced his fingers and rested his chin against them. "I've ulterior motifs for assisting you, but I'll do so all the same. Long story short, there's another fishman that I want to kill and avenge my father. Perhaps at another time I can tell you my full story, but for now, I think we've a fisherman to take care of."

Lee tightened his belt and followed Tai to the door. If they were going to do this thing, Lee was going to help. Hopefully, the girl would take his advice and sit this one out. He didn't think he could handle himself as well as he normally did if he was worrying about her.

Fisherman or not, if the guy really wanted to challenge Tai, it looked like he'd have his hands full. Lee smirked as his body tightened with excitement. "Admitedly, it's been awhile since I fought with someone on my side, it might be nice to feel like part of a crew again." Lee said half joking. Who knows, if things went well today, he could see himself sticking with the Fishman and his winged friend. It was true, he'd not been part of a team for a long time, and even then he was doing so against his will. Maybe they did show him what he needed to do to survive a fight, but he could have done that at home, with his father. Before they showed up, things were going fine. Now, he was going to be sure to make them pay, and this ancient sword technique was going to cut down anyone that gets in his way.

Restlessness lead to agitation and frustration, probably a horrible time to come up and talk to someone. Not that Owen could’ve guessed that. If he was observant enough, he would’ve interpreted from their demeanor and would’ve approached them at a different time. However, he wasn’t that observant so he did and proved to be quite annoying for the others. How inconvenient of him. He already felt bad about it and really just wanted to fix the whole thing. Sadly though, it appeared that now they were going to pick a fight and so they stood in the middle of the street, unhappy and angry for multiple reasons. Not that Owen was angry, he was just unhappy with his first impression. He hadn’t made an impression at all, he basically got ignored. ”Sigh, I suppose I’m invisible to people”, he thought shaking his head in disappointment. Finally the group decided to get some rest at least and spend the time until the arrival of their foes by resting. To further calm things down, Owen decided to make another first impression. Well technically that wasn’t a first impression but that’s what he was going to assume since the first one didn’t count.

Owen shook his head in reply to Rei as she introduced herself. His previous question wasn’t answered but he wasn’t going to repeat himself. He understood that she was tired and injured, pestering her would only make things worse. Perhaps under more favorable circumstances he could indulge in a conversation with both of them, but not right now. This time the fishman addressed both him and the other young individual among them. He replied with his name and Owen nodded to his introduction as well. In reply to his own introduction, he first took out his harmonica and played a single note. ”I am Owen Sharp, a candy loving musician”, he replied to large one among them. ”Since you too are troubled and are having a tough time. Please.. allow me to play a rather soothing tune”, he stated once more playing a single note to check his instrument. He then proceeded to playing a tune that would soothe the wary, possibly relaxing the tense moods of his acquaintances. If that didn’t make an impression, he really didn’t have anything else up his sleeves.

Owen played the tune till the end with his eyes closed and focused on the little notes. When dealing with music, he tried to be more detailed. It made him relax so he assumed that others would feel the same way. Besides candy, it was his one other passion. He wasn’t exceptional at it but he wasn’t that bad either. Some passerby also stopped occasionally to hear the tone as they nodded their head in approval of it. As it was good and not exceptional, no crowd gathered or anything. All in all, at least the people around them enjoyed some good music. After finishing the tone, Owen patiently waited as time passed by. He had nothing to say to the fellows since nothing at the time felt appropriate.

Time flew by them as they waited and finally, the time of battle came. The sun tired from shining all day had begun to set and people around them had begun to wrap things up and head home. The rumors of a fishman provoking the fishman hunter had spread like a wildfire. The one fishman in the street was visible to everyone and by now, most likely the hunter knew about him too.

Owen took out a candy from his pocket as he unwrapped it and threw it into his mouth. He was getting bored by now, were they just going to wait? Sure, if he had to fight some guy hunting fishmen he didn’t mind. He obviously didn’t agree with oppression and would always side with the oppressed anyways. Someone targeting fishmen was not what he approved of. ”So…”, as Owen opened his mouth and said those words, suddenly he was sent flying. Someone had appeared from the dark alley beside him and punched him, hurling him across the street. He crashed into the wall on the other side. The punch had hit him in the stomach muscles and his overcoat that he wore for protection couldn’t do anything about it. Owen couldn’t even see it coming.

The perpetrator now stood in front of Tai and the others with a smirk on his face. Owen wasn’t knocked out he was just surprised and sustained some medium damage to his stomach and back. He stood up and took out his metallic bo that he kept on himself. The bo was normally on him in the form of a medal. He could make that possible using his devil fruit powers. To return the bo to its original form he simply used the devil fruit powers and reverted it back. Owen took a defensive stance, now prepared to fight this foe who had just made a rude entrance.

For some strange reason, the aquatic humanoid felt suspicious of Lee because of words. The man said that he wanted to fight a Fishman, did that mean that he was the hunter, was that the reason he gave him a warning? Were they walking right into a trap by a crafty Fisherman? A lot of questions stacked itself inside of Tai’s head, but he decided to wait instead of act upon his thoughts. He had no proof; he didn’t want to harm someone who was innocent.

The wait then grew boring as the gang waited for the man to show himself and suddenly a tune popped into the Fishman’s head. It was the same melody Owen had just played and that’s when he was about to ask for the musician to play again. Right as he turned his head, he noticed the man flying and realized that their target was around. Instead of checking on the candy lover, he scanned the place for the Fisherman.

“Where are you, show yourself!” he shouted as he struck a pose and then the stranger appeared from the shadows.

“It’s been a while Tai,” the man said, “I never thought the day would come when I could hunt down my brother.”

Suddenly as if by magic, the aquatic humanoid’s body completely froze. When he heard about a hunter searching for Fishmen, he thought that it would be a cocky human. Rather than that, however, he got the one person he didn’t want to meet again for a while. It was Rai Rackem, his adoptive brother from Karate Island. While he wanted to make good of his threat, Tai couldn’t gather the strength to attack, he was speechless.

“R… R…. Rai?!” he mumbled, while his brother continued to grin at him.

Since it appeared that the Fishman wouldn’t take the first strike, the Fisherman decided to go in for an assault. Quickly, he rushed towards his older brother and sent the aquatic humanoid flying backwards with a punch to his gut. Tai’s body flew about two meters until the brick wall behind him stopped the path of his little trip. His head smacked into the building and it appeared as if he was defeated.

“Really?” the Marine said, “That’s all that you have? Guess I’ll just finish up the job and take care of your buddies.”

After a moment, Tai’s consciousness flickered back. He felt like he had a headache and then noticed something falling from his head. It was crimson liquid and as he touched it, the Fishman snapped back to reality. He then wasted no time at all and headed straight for his brother. Over and over again he sent his arms sailing through the air at Rai until he had unleashed about fifteen jabs, trying to bring his brother down.

A few managed to pound into the human’s body while a couple were simply smacked away. That’s when the aquatic humanoid knew that he needed to up his game or they were going to lose fast. It was also then that he remembered that his brother was known for his quick reflexes.

fuck the fisherman

Maybe she just wasn't hearing things correctly today? The girl stood to her feet as Tai noticed something out of the ordinary. He called into the darkness and the darkness answered. The man who appeared out of it was a tall, handsome and very stern looking. His calm demeanor was one of absolute certain in what he was doing. But still, what he said made very little sense to the Skypiean girl. His brother? The Fisherman that's been hunting down Fishman in the East Blue was actually Tai's brother? And while she wondered how that could be at first, she remembered Tai telling her that he was adopted by a human man and raised outside of Fishman Island.

It still didn't explain why his brother, of all people, would be hunting down Fishman but there wasn't much time to ask questions. The man seemed to move in a blur and try and she might she couldn't think of what to do in the few seconds before he struck the landshark that might help him. The impact sent Tai flying backward as he colliding with a brick wall, the sound of hte impact alone causing Rei's stomach to churn. She gasped as her friend appeared again out of the dust and debris, looking worse than ever but still not as bad as he should have. He'd just been rocketed into a break wall. How was he still standing let alone...

Again her thoughts were interrupted and her body reacted instinctively. She dashed backward with the little help that her injured wings gave her, and on to her palms in a back handed spring. A moment slower and she'd have been crushed under the weight of a giant scythe blade that was stabbed into the dirt. She slide backward to a halt, following the chain link that lead him to some kind of beast of a man. The roar of hoarse laughter escaped his bloated, round head and his belly, the size of a elephant, shaked and grumbled as he tried to contain his excitement!

"Ooh look Raii! This one has some friends for me to play with too! I never get to play!"

"Shit... You guys deal with this guy."

Reinaka wanted to give this man every bit of attention that his size warranted him, but she was more concerned with the man that had just sent the six foot plus Fishman surging back like a rocket. She had to decide, and her choice was going to be her friend.

"Hey you fucking dick. Can a girl get a little action, too? I'm not a fishman, but I promise you I bite just as hard!"

She launched herself at the man, aware that his speed was going to be tough to match but nonetheless determined. She engaged him and just as she'd suspected, he'd never dealt with a Chi Blocker before. He smiled as he moved to his arms to block her strikes, laughing to himself at the ease in which he was thwarting her attempts. Finally, the last strike...

"OBSTRUCTTT....."

Her hand pressed into his forearm but before she could even think of finishing the  strike a backhand crushed into her face and sent her flying back towards the Fishman. Reinaka rolled to a stop, stars spinning in her head. This guy was strong.

"Ahh... I see. I can barely feel my arm. If I'd let you finished that strike, I'd have been done for, you little bitch. Trust that you won't get the same opportunity."
