Fishman Karate - Denchi Namazu Style SyZx9iY

Primary Skill Set Name: Fishman Karate - Denchi Namazu Style
Skill Set Stat: Hand to Hand
Skill Set Information: Fishman Karate is a martial art that is practiced by certain skilled members of the fishmen race; it is noted that humans can also learn the fighting style. While deadly enough on land, Fishman Karate has a number of devastating underwater moves designed to be suitable with the Fishmen strength and speed along with the mobility that goes while under water and, in some cases, a fishman's personal adaptation (fins, teeth, etc.), in this case Jackson makes use of his Electric Eel attributes.

The secret of Fishman Karate is mastery of the water in the user's direct vicinity, using its power to send powerful waves impacting the water within the opponent's body. Since every living creature is nothing more than a mass of water, the users of Fishman Karate are able to battle opponents that are usually highly resistant (if not immune) against blows and punches. Fishman Karate can be used effectively on land as he can utilize the water in the atmosphere and make use of it to attack, but it is slightly weakened due to being outside of it's natural habitat.

Passive:

- Because of his status as a Fishman and his affinity to water, Jackson is able to accelerate to his maximum tiered speed in a mere instant while under water of any kind. This is only usable once every two posts.

- Since this is a martial art and because of Jackson's superhuman strength as a Fishman, any physical strikes doled out out (regular punches, kicks, etc) fall under the Fishman Karate skill set. Because of this, the damage he can deal by these physical strikes directly corresponds with his hand to hand stat and depending on the specialization level, deals one below the stat amount in tiered damage. (For example, with 3 points in Hand to Hand, Jackson would be able to deal tier 2 damage with physical strikes). This power depends on the specialization level of the opponent he's facing (their hand to hand spec). If they happen to be on par with him (equal to his hand to hand spec), the damage done will be one tier less. The amount of damage is specified in the notes section of this skill set in the damage chart.

Skill Strengths:

- Jackson is able to infuse his Fishman Karate skills with electricity through the use of the "Hunter's organ" inside of him. This electrical damage is only accessible through skill use.

- When in water, Fishman Karate's effectiveness is increased exponentially, allowing Jackson's skills to tier up by one when used underwater.

- Because Fishman Karate's physical strikes and skills also work by creating waves that impact within an opponent, this allows users of Fishman Karate to deal damage to devil fruit users or simply beings that would have ordinarily been immune to physical strikes or skills without the use of Busoshoku haki. In the case of logia users, these waves wouldn't be able to harm one that has gone into an intangible state. When these waves travel through the air, they aren't visible to the naked eye - yet, they do affect the world around them. This means when the waves are in movement they will affect the world around them - giving indications by affecting surroundings in a fashion similar to gusts of wind.

- Through the grueling training involved with Fishman Karate, Jackson's strength, dexterity, balance, reflexes, and durability have been increased (this is due to spending spec points in the Hand to Hand, as it's stated to increase all of these things).

Skill Weaknesses:

- Because Fishman Karate is a Fishman martial art, it was made for use with an abundance of water in mind. When not in an area filled to the brim with water it is slightly weakened due to being outside of it's natural habitat.

- Because these are physical attacks and skills that also create waves which impact the water inside of bodies or objects in order to deal damage, they hold no elemental alignment themselves. This Fishman Karate causes to be free of any elemental superiority against other skill sets.

- This is a martial art, and as such it is necessary for most physical strikes to be used while in close quarters with the opponent in order to dish out any sort of amount of damage. Because of this there is a higher risk of injury or death when confronting opponents - especially those that excel in long-range combat.

- Due to Jackson's hybrid nature, his Hunter's organ isn't as developed as a full-blooded electric eel fishman. Because of this, he isn't able to use this power for hours on end like his full-blooded counterparts would be able to.

Notes:

Damage Chart:

Tier 1 - Wood may be destroyed with relative ease, weaker materials such as copper, aluminum, etc. Stone may be destroyed with sufficient effort, whilst Iron is subject to denting, albeit not to a high degree.
Tier 2 - Stone no longer requires much effort to destroy with skills, and crumbles with ease. Iron dents rather heavily at this level, almost to the point of breaking.
Tier 3 - Skills are able to completely destroy Iron now. Not only this, but they also begin to affect Steel, bending it to some degree.
Tier 4 - Skills of this Tier can affect Steel to the point of destroying it completely. While this may not occur instantaneously, it is still quite possible to accomplish this feat.
Tier 5 - Steel can be destroyed with little to no effort. More significantly, one of the strongest materials to ever grace the Universe, diamond, may be affected by skills of this level, and over time, be worn out and destroyed.
Tier 6 - The destruction of diamond is no longer a problem with skills of this tier. Even feats such as island destruction become subject of topic here, and not only that, the legendary material of Seastone is now able to be dented heavily. Repeated uses of skills of this tier would need to be used to fully break through the seastone.

Electrical Damage Chart:

The electrical damage lasts for one post after the initial shock.
Tier 1 - Causes a numbing effect on the impacted limb's muscle making it extremely hard to use. (for example, if used on the hand it would be harder for the opponent to close their hand and form it into a fist)
Tier 2 - Causes a numbing effect on the impacted limb's location on the body, making it extremely hard to use in general. (for example, if used on the hand it would be harder for the opponent's entire arm to move)
Tier 3 - Causes a numbing effect on the impacted limb's location on the body (upper or lower body - the waist being the separator between the two.), making it extremely hard to use in general. (for example, if used on the hand it would be harder for the opponent's entire upper body to move.)
Tier 4 - Causes a paralyzing effect on the impacted limb's location on the body, making it impossible to use in general. (for example, if used on the hand the entire arm would be paralyzed.
Tier 5 - Causes a paralyzing effect on the impacted limb's location on the body (upper or lower body - the waist being the separator between the two.) making it impossible to use in general. (for example, if used on the hand it would paralyze the opponent's entire upper body.)
Tier 6 - Causes a paralyzing effect on the body, making it impossible for the opponent to move.

Tier 2:

Speed: 2 (3 Underwater)

Tier 2 Skill Name: Hyakumaigawara Seiken - Hundred Tile True Punch
Tier 2 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 2 Skill Range: 10 meters
Tier 2 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 4/Instant
Tier 2 Skill Description: This appears to only be a regular punch, but this punch allows Jackson to create a waves that extends 10 meters forward from the path of Jackson's fist - only extending half a meter from the left and right of his fist as well. The damage dealt with this attack is blunt, and if Jackson manages to hit the opponent with the punch itself (compared to only hitting them with the waves) the waves will extend through the opponent and be able to hit other opponents behind them. The waves traveling through the opponent don't cause extra damage when this happens.

Tier 2 Skill Name: Jodan Bakusho - High-Rank Exploding Palm
Tier 2 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 2 Skill Range: 10 meters
Tier 2 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 4/Instant
Tier 2 Skill Description: This appears to only be a regular open palmed strike, but this open palmed technique allows Jackson to create waves that extends 10 meters forward from the path of Jackson's palm - only extending half a meter from the left and right of his fist as well. The damage dealt with this attack is blunt, and if Jackson manages to hit the opponent with the palm strike itself (compared to only hitting them with the waves) the waves will extend through the opponent and be able to hit other opponents behind them. The waves traveling through the opponent don't cause extra damage when this happens.

Tier 2 Skill Name: Kakato Otoshi Geri - Axe Kick
Tier 2 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 2 Skill Range: 7 meters
Tier 2 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 4/Instant
Tier 2 Skill Description: Jackson brings his knee upward to his chest and kicks out, extending his leg fully with his knee bent slightly, before dropping his leg down with as much might as possible, striking his opponent with force comparable to an axe - hence the name. The waves created by this strike travel out from the path of his kick vertically, reaching a height of two meters and traveling forward a distance of ten meters. The damage dealt with this attack is blunt, and if Jackson manages to hit the opponent with the kick itself (compared to only hitting them with the waves) the waves will extend through the opponent and be able to hit other opponents behind them. The waves traveling through the opponent don't cause extra damage when this happens.

Tier 2 Skill Name: Kachiage Haisoku
Tier 2 Skill Type: Fighting Stat(s) Involved
Tier 2 Skill Range: 7 meters
Tier 2 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 4/Instant
Tier 2 Skill Description: This appears to only be a simple roundhouse kick in practice, but this kick allows Jackson to create waves. The waves created by this strike travel out from the path of his kick horizontally, reaching a height of one meter and a width of five meters, while traveling forward a distance of ten meters. The damage dealt with this attack is blunt, and if Jackson manages to hit the opponent with the kick itself (compared to only hitting them with the waves) the waves will extend through the opponent and be able to hit other opponents behind them. The waves traveling through the opponent don't cause extra damage when this happens

Tier 3:

Speed: 3 (4 Underwater)

Tier 3 Skill Name: Samehada Shotei - Sharkskin Palm Block
Tier 3 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 3 Skill Range: 10 meters
Tier 3 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 5/Instant
Tier 3 Skill Description: A simple palm block with enough force behind it to slap away any tier 3 or lower skill or attack that comes in contact with it (as long as the amount of of potential damage these skills could dole out don't surpass a tier 3 amount). This palm block also creates waves that extend a meter from the left and right of his palm, as well extending ten meters forward from his palm. These waves also nullify offensive skills within its range, if the maximum amount of damage that could be blocked with this skill hasn't already been blocked physically by Jackson's palm.

Tier 4 Skill Name: Raisoku Shundō (Lightning-speed Instant Movement)
Tier 4 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 4 Skill Range: Personal
Tier 4 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 6/3
Tier 4 Skill Description: By internalizing the electrical energy he can create as a result of his Electric Eel Fishman lineage, Jackson is able to increase the speed of his movements as well as the synaptic transmissions of his central nervous system, allowing his movement to be instant, yet, this instant movement can only be attributed to one action per post. These "actions" don't extend to making skills any faster, but rather simple movements IC (taking one step, throwing a single punch, etc). This internalized electrical energy also allows Jackson to process information at a much at a much faster pace, giving him a decreased reaction time while also giving him a .5 buff in speed.

Since this is a martial art and because of Jackson's superhuman strength as a Fishman, any physical strikes doled out out (regular punches, kicks, etc) fall under the Fishman Karate skill set. Because of this, the damage he can deal by these physical strikes directly corresponds with his hand to hand stat and depending on the specialization level, deals  two below the stat amount in tiered damage. (For example, with 3 points in Hand to Hand, Jackson would be able to deal tier 1 damage with physical strikes). The amount of damage is specified in the notes section of this skill set in the damage chart.

I would have you state, that this passive only works against those whom don't have an increased strength skill set.

- Through the grueling training involved with Fishman Karate, Jackson's body has been highly conditioned. His dexterity, agility, endurance, and flexibility have all now far surpassed what most would call "normal".

These would count as a passive.

- Because Fishman Karate's physical strikes and skills also work by creating waves that impact within an opponent, this allows users of Fishman Karate to deal damage to devil fruit users or simply beings that would have ordinarily been immune to physical strikes or skills without the use of Busoshoku haki. Since these are waves in the air that are created when on land, these waves aren't visible to the eye.

We don;t really like "invisible attacks", generally requiring a tell, if this is like a shcokwave state it looks like it, or ripples. Also state it does not effect logia's due to their intangibility.

I mentioned it before, but the electricity needs to be made a passive, [though as i did the secondary before the primary, you don't need to make it a passive in your secondary and can do it here.

The amount of damage is specified in the notes section of this skill set in the damage chart.

Skill Strengths:

- Jackson is able to infuse his physical strikes, Fishman Karate skills, or weapons with electricity through the use of the "Hunter's organ" inside of him. This organ works similarly to a battery, and allows Jackson to discharge electricity. The electrical damage that can be added to physical strikes and skills is dependent on Jackson's character tier. For example, at tier 2 he'd be able to compound tier 2 electrical damage on top of whatever damage he's able to deal through use of a skill, physical strike through use of hand to hand combat, or through the use of a weapon he has sent the current of electricity through. The numbing and paralyzing effects aren't permanent, so they would wear off with time. This is mainly used to subdue targets without having to kill.

- When in water or in an area that has high humidity, Fishman Karate's effectiveness is increased exponentially, allowing Jackson's skills to tier up by one when used in water.

- Due to Jackson's hybrid nature, his Hunter's organ isn't as developed as a full-blooded electric eel fishman. Because of this, it takes time for him to recharge and make use of this bio-electric power again compared to full-blooded fishman that seemed to be able to use this ability as many times as they'd like without fail.

The waves traveling through the opponent doesn't cause extra damage when this happens

Tier 3:

Speed: 3 (4 Underwater)

Tier 3 Skill Name: Samehada Shotei - Sharkskin Palm Block
Tier 3 Skill Type: Hand to Hand
Tier 3 Skill Range: 10 meters
Tier 3 Skill Cooldown&Duration: 5/Instant
Tier 3 Skill Description: A simple palm block with enough force behind it to slap away any tier 3 or lower skill or attack that comes in contact with it. This palm block also creates waves that extend ten meters forward from his palm that also nullifies offensive skills within its range.

Width of the wave? also how many skills can the wave take? If you have blocked a tier 3 skill the wave itself will be nullified as tier 3 against a tier 3 will cancel each other out. If it is a tier 2 skill, the wave will be able to block a single tier 2 or two tier 1's skills and so on

First, I wanted to make not that I've changed this to my secondary skill set instead of my primary. My fishman jujutsu will be my primary skill set.

I've also made the edits to my skills and some of the wording that might have been confusing. I've also made changes to the skill set strengths regarding the waves; as well as the one that mentioned the conditioning of his body. One thing I'm confused about though is needing to add that my strength passive wouldn't work against those with strength skill sets. The passive was really made to explain the "x10 the strength of a human" thing IC by giving it an actual use, but I'm not sure why my strength would diminish against someone else because of their own strength. If anything, wouldn't they need an increased durability or defensive skill set or something?

What i am meaning about the strength vs strength thing isnt that your strength diminishes, it is just that it wouldn't do tier 1 damage from multiple basic hits against someone who also has a strength increase. We have seen humans who have done feats far superior to fishmen in the op world in terms of strength. What im really meaning is, if one of these people were fighting you, and matching you blow for blow using basic fighting strikes, your strikes and their strikes would be on par if gifted with incredibly strength like the fishmen. IF of course you struck them twice and they did not block nor managed to deflect the attack then yeah by all means that's fine. Though you have to remember hand to hand spec also enhances durable.

So really to make it simpler because i just recalled it XD, Hand to hand also increases durability [in the spec section], So essentially what i was saying is someone on par with you would be able to withstand it. Essentially what the passive should say is that this effect works on those with a lower hand to hand spec than the user. [Sorry I'm rambling because of lack of sleep]

Alrighty, edited once more. Added that the passive will work on opponents that aren't equal in hand to hand with the user. If they happen to be equal in that amount with the user, the damage done will be one tier less. So I hope that balances everything out.

Fishman Karate - Denchi Namazu Style SyZx9iY

Secondary Skill Set Name: Fishman Karate - Denchi Namazu Style

Passive:

- Because of Jackson's electrical attributes, he has learned how to internalize this energy in order to increase the speed of his movements as well as the synaptic transmissions of his central nervous system, allowing him to instantly accelerate to his maximum speed, yet, this maximum speed increase can only be attributed to one action per post. elaborate on one action, one movement like an arm movement, a tuck and roll?

- Since this is a martial art and because of Jackson's superhuman strength as a Fishman, any physical strikes doled out out (regular punches, kicks, etc) fall under the Fishman Karate skill set. This power depends on the specialization level of the opponent he's facing (their hand to hand spec). If they happen to be on par with him (equal to his hand to hand spec), the damage done will be one tier less. The amount of damage is specified in the notes section of this skill set in the damage chart.

Skill Strengths:

- Jackson is able to infuse his Fishman Karate skills with electricity through the use of the "Hunter's organ" inside of him. not being listed as a passive, i'm just clarifying this will being only accessible through skill use for u

- When in water or in an area that has high humidity, Fishman Karate's effectiveness is increased exponentially, allowing Jackson's skills to tier up by one when used in water. explicitly water.

- Through the grueling training involved with Fishman Karate, Jackson's body has been highly conditioned and honed. omit flavor of text bonuses pls

(for example, if used on the hand the entire arm would be paralyzed.)

These "actions" don't extend to making skills any faster, but rather simple movements IC. For example, pushing off the ground with one foot in order to propel the user at full speed out of the way of an attack (if possible, given the situation), an arm movement, or a simple tuck and roll.

So basically he can move instantaneously throughout a whole thread. Once per post? That's broken af. I disapprove of this. There needs to be a cooldown, it's a nonstop autododge and its vague on the distance for which he can use this to dodge. He may not be able to combine it with a skill but you're able to move your arm instantaneously, well, the effects are quite the same. You can always say you moved in time or blocked/parried in time because you can endlessly use this passive.

- Since this is a martial art and because of Jackson's superhuman strength as a Fishman, any physical strikes doled out out (regular punches, kicks, etc) fall under the Fishman Karate skill set. Didn't someone say something about invisible waves and it being a no go?

- Through the grueling training involved with Fishman Karate, Jackson's strength, dexterity, balance, reflexes, and durability have been increased (this is due to spending spec points in the Hand to Hand, as it's stated to increase all of these things).

Skill Weaknesses:

- Because Fishman Karate is a Fishman martial art, it was made for use with an abundance of water in mind. When not in an area filled to the brim with water it is slightly weakened due to being outside of it's natural habitat.

The waves created by this strike travel out from the path of his kick vertically, reaching a height of two meters and traveling forward a distance of ten meters. The damage dealt with this attack is blunt, and if Jackson manages to hit the opponent with the kick itself (compared to only hitting them with the waves) the waves will extend through the opponent and be able to hit other opponents behind them. The waves traveling through the opponent don't cause extra damage when this happens.

Tier 2 Skill Name: Kachiage Haisoku
Tier 2 Skill Type: Fighting Stat(s) Involved

There needs to be a cooldown, it's a nonstop auto dodge and its vague on the distance for which he can use this to dodge. He may not be able to combine it with a skill but you're able to move your arm instantaneously, well, the effects are quite the same. You can always say you moved in time or blocked/parried in time because you can endlessly use this passive.

It's one action, once per post. He isn't able to use this nonstop and the focus wasn't simply on dodging, I was just using an example. The movement also isn't instantaneous, it's based on the character's tiered speed - something that is tiered higher than me would have no trouble hitting me even if I used this passive. Also, if I used this skill to move my arm in accordance with a skill, then the speed of the skill would override this passive, since it's not applicable to skill use. It's merely a passive that hastens movement, that way a brief startup in movement isn't all that necessary for one single action. It doesn't give an unstoppable advantage at all.

You've misunderstood me as well. The point is not what you intend to do with the passive but the advantage your wording allows for. The fact is that this passive can be used every single post to do something at your top speed, without rest or need to recharge this electric battery. Show me in your current description where it says this cant be done every one (ie non-stop). The fact that someone faster than you can still get to you doesn't do away with the fact that you're able to move instantly to your top speed without fail.

I didn't say you could use it with a skill, I''m sayin a skill isn't necessary for this to be advantage when, again, you can move even your arm at an accelerated rate (ie to block fast attacks, sneak behind someone). Look, the point is this needs a cooldown. Period. And certainly it must require extra stamina. You can not have a SORU technique without a cooldown because this is exactly that. Make a cooldown. Require 5 stamina per usage.
