It had been a rather calmed day. It seemed as though this was some sort of ironic fatalism, given the rather unnerving news that after serving five years under the 28th Branch as a non-commisioned officer, he had ben transferred to the South Blue where he would commandeer an entire regiment of a Branch. Leadership had never been one of Damocles's strong suit. If anything he preferred to be the one firing the arrow than being the one who gave the order to fire the volley. He liked getting his hands dirty and messy. To deprive him of combat and force him to spearhead an entire group was something that he did into enjoy that much. However, it wouldn't be that bad. At least he still had enough flexibility to maneuver between administrating a crew and fighting debauched pirates.

Right now, the still rather fresh rookie Marine was musing over his circumstance. A half-drunk glass of rum was swinged go and fro by his hands. He was deep in thought, but he had no idea of what he was thinking about. In order to at least ge tot know the names of his regiment, the now-promoted officer had asked his subordinates to round up inside one of the busier bars inside one of the towns of the Kingdom of Briss. He tried to calm down his nerves, telling himself that they, his crew, will be a manageable bunch and not a crowd of rowdy, uncontrollable rebels.

Adamantune parted the doors and stepped through as gracefully as he could manage. Personally he felt that a bar was a strange place to have a first time rendezvous, not that he had any objections. Well, it could prove to be a good ice breaker, given that no one got too drunk. As for himself, he preferred to stay away from drink, as -especially in the current circumstance- he felt it was unbecoming of a man to lose sense of himself in public. Although, he probably would not refuse a glass or so if offered to him by either a colleague or superior.

He cast a searching gaze over the crowd in the bar, looking for the white uniform, or someone with Justice written down their back. Adamantune, thinking he found his mark, strolled over, to see the guy swirling some rum in the glass. That this fellow was alone and seemed to be the first present, must mean that he was... what was his name again? Heracles? No... Wait. Yeah, Captain Damocles, or something. Maybe, Adamantune considered, it would be best to simply not address the man by name or rank, just to be sure.

Straightening up and saluting, Adamantune greeted the man, "Ensign Adamantune Dasnet, reporting-net! Please call me Ensign Dasnet! Thanks!"

A sure footed green figure strode towards the local drinking hole in the marine hub of southern Briss Kingdom. He had always avoided places such as these that were out in public but he had no choice now, he was a marine ensign and was to follow orders whatever they may be. It had only been a week ago that he had signed up to be a member of the naval operations but had already been assigned the role of navigator under a captain by the name of Damocles. This bar was the chosen meeting place of his future crew.

Yado had experienced the hardship of growing up in the south blue where there was very few fishmen, and the few that there were, had been vicious pirate marauders. People had been cruel to him in the past, ostricising and demonising him even though he had only been a boy. He had developed a metaphorical thick skin to match his physical one. Throughout his early teenage years he had a need for human contact and had only managed to find it among the forgotten souls in the run down backstreets of every grimy town. Trouble seemed to find you in such places and he was forced to fight for survival. He developed and used his natural fishman abilities to aid him in this regard and soon earned a bad reputation amongst the filth as 'Poison Dart Yado'. He had to fight for his own survival or escape to the sea. He ended up doing plenty of both, developing his navigational skills while exploring the ocean.

Recently, he had been unable to avoid a particular mix up in the Briss Kingdom and as it was an island heavily patrolled by marines, he was arrested. He had infact not been a part of the trouble but since he was a fishman, it was only natural that the marine detectives would pin the crimes on him. That is when he was given the option of joining the navy or jail time by an officer. He grudgingly took the offer and that was that. He was optimistic, maybe this would lead to opportunities to travel and see the world.

Yado drew attention as he made his way to the bar, people stepping back when they saw his green skin and the white and blue marines cap that he wore backwards. He found himself a little picky about the uniform, wanting to wear his own wetsuit like jacket and the cap backwards so that it would not inhibit his full range of sight. Swinging the door open, the slim frogman strode inside. All eyes turned to him as they noticed the green stranger. He glided along the floor with natural coordination, his black eyes sweeping the dingy pub for any indication of his crew. His gaze was drawn to a giant of a man with dark features. Even though he was sitting down, he had a very perceivable presence to him. He had been given a brief description of the man and it was clear that this was him. Next to him was some form of mechanical creature with yellow glowing eyes. It looks like those two were the only ones who had showed up so far, Yado decided to walk over without hesitation. He would hold his composure and make the best impression that he was capable of.

He then caught his foot on a chair and stumbled onto his other leg. The surprise caught him off guard and he put a little too much strength into his correction. He leapt ten metres into the air while letting out a little ribbit and sailed over the two large figures to land in a stool on the other side. The stool skated back a metre and he folded up his legs and leaned on his knee to feign purpose in that stumble. It was a ridiculous action that had a silencing affect on the sparse inhabitants of the bar. Yado turned to Damocles and spoke without faltering. Hello captain, I, Yado Kuga am to be your navigator. I know the seas of the South Blue like the back of my hand.

Jakke Dawwe

Jakke Dawwe
What a hassle Jakke thought to herself as she wondered about looking for the bar, the bar specified on her service transfer papers. She was supposed to report to some cheap bar in the middle of some... Kingdom, if you could really call it that, so she could rendezvous with her new regiment.

Oh joy she continued to think, doing her best to push her way through all the drunks she could, and avoid the drunks she couldn't. "Of all the dives in the South Blue the captain picked this one?", the young pink haired lass would whine as she pushed maneuvered through the patrons, trying to hide her look of disgust and displeasure as she did so, holding her nose to prevent the smell of excess drink from profaning her nostrils.

Jakke had been raised around drink, she'd in fact, been raised by pirates. She liked to believe she knew drunks like the back of her hand, however the young girl wasn't quite ready to accept different people act differently when drunk. She treated them all the same, which in her mind, was the only fair thing to do. The slightly shorter than average teen was turning dome heads though, and whenever she caught the eye of a customer she just glared at them strongly. She didn't want to be here any longer than necessary.

Thankfully, she wouldn't. Even over the uproar of the crowd she could hear some jargon that was largely exclusive to the Marines. Some guy hollering about being an ensign. Jakke, wanting to bring an end to what will likely be yet another traumatic experience followed the voice, yet the bar soon fell silent, Jakke not even remotely having the presence of mind to take note of the olympic jumping frog. As much as it was a relief, sudden quiet was often times more worrisome than excessive noise. Thankfully though, this allowed her unfettered passage to her desired destination. There she spied two men, and a fish. Her gaze shifted slowly between the trio as she let go of her nose steadily. The one giving a proud and eager salute definitely wasn't going to be her captain, and she wasn't sure if the Marines even allowed fish people into its ranks. She couldn't imagine why not, but she still felt safe in the assumption that he wasn't the captain either.

That left the larger of the group, a man with short, moderately spiky looking black hair. Jakke looked to the saluting boy and the fish as she slowly raised a finger to point to Damocles, raising a questioning eyebrow at him as a sly grimace came across her face.

"Damocles, I presume?" Jakke would ask in a sure tone before using that same finger to point to herself. "Dawwes. Jakke Dawwes. Weapon Specialist and Marksman." she'd say in an unimpressed tone. She quickly shifted her gaze again to the other two who had gathered, but decided they weren't exactly important enough yet for her to care about their names. This also allowed her to spy the half empty rum class by her "captain" which only deepened her grimace.

Great, I'm serving under a drunk... she thought, but it was still better than her last commander, a strange, scraggly old man who had a thing for peeping. This hadn't proved much of an upgrade, but Jakke would definitely make the most of it.

Shin Kazama
The briss kingdom what spectacle the young Shin had thought to him self. Today was the day he would meet up with the Regiment he was assigned to. He was given a paper telling him the location of the meet up point, so he made his way toward there. Shin did not know what to expect from the other members of this new regiment. He did not feel much nervousness, just excitement. His whole life was based around marines, with his mother and father both being apart of the organization.

He just wanted to make sure to be just as good of a marine as they were, since they mostly influenced him to be the person he is today. Leaving his train of thought the sight of the kingdom was very beautiful. It was filled with businesses and the smiles of civilizations living peacefully among themselves, which was a good thing to see for the young ensign.

"Hmm i wonder if they are selling any apples around here." The young lad looked around to finally see a place selling apples. He ran to the place wanting to buy three apples, which didn't cost much at all. As he bought the apples he noticed the shop keeper looking at him a bit strange. "Don't worry it's just a family tradition that's all." Referring to the tattoo around his eye since that made him stick out just a little or maybe a lot, depending own how Shin would look at the situation in his mind. "Glad i bought these apples, i was getting pretty hungry back there." Shin paused for a second thinking maybe he should have bought more just to show his hospitality. "Nahhh it will be ok, pretty sure who ever is already at the bar is stuffing their face maybe." He continued on his way eating one of the apples he bought, while having stares from the people following him as well.

The young ensign had finally reached his destination, while eating on the second apple that was in his bag. "Well time to meet the crew." The tall Shin walked through the doors to see a few people already gathered around someone. "This is interesting." Shin walked toward the gathered group while eating his apple. He bumped into a few small fry seeming to be other marines below his rank behind some guy with yellow hair. He also noticed a woman with pink hair, also a fishman and some weird looking robot thing he guessed.

As he continued to walk toward the center while gazing upon the appearance of the others already there, he stood next to the blonde haired man with apple in hand and saw a man that was sitting, so he assumed that was the captain in front of him. Shin assumed he was a bit on clouds since this was a bar. "Nice to meet you captain my name is Shin Sellick and i will be the head Doctor of this here Regiment, so you can count on me to keep everyone here in near perfect health."

Damocles moved his eyes around, noticing the rather awkward ensemble of Marines that had gathered by him. First, a hulking cyborg with thick metal skin announcement himself with a sense of gusto and exuberance that made the rather rited captain a bit irritated. It had been far too early for such energy. Secondly their came a frog-like guy who, if it was even possible, had even more energy than the robot. The captain by his part just growled lowly to himself and continued to sue over his drink. The third crew mate was rather odd. It wasn't under of for women to join the Marines, but that was women, not girls. This person looked like she had just snapped out of her mother's belly. To himself the towering figure mentally cursed himself. "Great...a robot, a frog and a brat...what an amusing conglomerate..." through Damocles as he examined his first three crew mates.

Out of nowhere, the sound of thunderous applause and shrilled voices taken up to deafening pitches smacked the rather nonchalant captain harder than a hammer to the head. His eyes turned to deep glares and his furrows deepened. Without saying a word, he walked towards the crowd of gathered fangirls and stared at them with a terrifying grimace. A chill was fired from his gunmetal eyes and the once cheerful crowd began to quiet down and even coward before the man with the black armor on. Once the mass stopped crying out, the captain walked back to his position and sat down on the stool he had been occupying before. However, before doing so, he coldly stared at the source of such racket, a blonde man with a touch of aristocratic looks to him that had a sense of cold nobility to himself. The last man was the most normal looking of the bunch, save for his azure hair and tattoo.

"Forgive my rudeness now, but I just cannot stand so much noise at this hour. Now, if we all are gathered here. Please follow me, I would have us discuss the matter of our task in a more private scenery." said Damocles s he snapped his fingers and stood up. The bartender, who had been pouring a glass of brandy to another marine, soon rushed towards the back of the bar and then instructed one of the waiters to tel Damocles to join him in the back. Without giving them any reason for doing so, the captain told his crew to follow him through the back of the bar.

Once at the back, the bartender pulled a lever and a hidden passage was opened up towards the wall on the left. After thanking the bartender, the captain walked inside the hall until he reached a large luxurious stone room with an impressive table in the middle and large wooden armchairs around the table. Damocles of course sat at the head of the table, but waited for his crew to appear before he took his seat.

Ah, ok Adamantune thought to himself as the others filed in. Perhaps the most interesting of the ragtag group of Marines was the frog(?) Fishman. Probably the first Fishman to ever be a Marine, even the first Fishman to willingly side with the World Government. Are frogs even fish? Questions, questions. Another presented itself in the form of the Marine man whom Adamantune was fairly certain, his commanding officer.

He was either a miserable drunk or hungover even whilst drinking. Damocles appeared to take poorly to the stimulus around him. Adamantune had not heard much about his new captain, but as far as first impressions went, Damocles seemed like he was the type of guy who had bad days all week. Who knew, though. Not wanting to jump to premature conclusions, Adamantune tried to reserve his judgement as far as the captain's behaviour presented itself.

Following the path to the back of the bar, Adamantune let out a low whistle, muttering to no one, "Shiiiiiiiieeee..." Adamantune did not care to look presumptuous by sitting at the captain's immediate right. So, he took his position behind the armchair which left one seat between him and Damocles.

It was a strange scene for sure. Yado did not know quite what to do with himself when people started entering the room. One after the other they filed in and reported to the captain in their own way. First came a girl a few years younger than himself. She did not seem to lack any confidence even though she was dwarfed by Damocles and the cyborg. The next person who swung in was a popular lieutenant who labelled them off one by one. He had the air of expected authority about him or maybe it was self importance. The next to join them would be the apple eating doctor with distracting blue hair. He seemed a little more docile than the rest and promised to keep them healthy. It was reassuring to know that they had a trained professional doctor for the long journeys, he had been forced to nurture his own broken limbs and injuries in the past as he had not had the privilege of healthcare.

Captain Democles asked for forgiveness of his dark reception of his crew. Yado guessed that it was nothing more than a formality but he would accept it, at least he made an effort to show respect to the people that would be working for him. The fishman realised that their boisterous entrance and crowding had not made the first meeting go too well. The group seemed to have a very rich range of personalities and would be far from the ideal mindless soldiers that were often valued so highly. He then asked them to follow him, making his way to the back of the bar. After the metal man took after him, Yado followed suit. He nodded to his other crewmates and glided along behind the hulking machine. The black cloak that he wore gripped closely to his skin, as was required from something that is used as a swimsuit, the end of the cloak giving a slight stiff waver between movements. They were a strange group to be sure, but what would become of them?

Following the captain, he pulled a lever that opened up a hidden passage. What the heck was this, was it really necessary? He followed along the corridor in single file until they reached a large stone room. A fancy place for sure, Yado felt out of place in this human environment. The first two stood behind their chairs in a peculiar fashion. Their choice of seating seemed a little strange, as if they had put a lot of thought behind where they sat. The green male did not understand the traditions of marines so he chose the chair immediately to Democleses left and copied them by standing behind the chair. He then pulled out a small stack of blank papers and a quill. He could draw a picture perfect diagram of any island in the south blue from memory and would start to do so if his captain requested a visual aid while he explained their mission. After glancing up at his leader once more, he faced the corridor to watch the others enter.

Since he guessed everyone has made it to the location, it would seem Shin was the last one to make it to the meet up point. That was kind of embarrassing for the young marine. With everyone gathered the scene was an interesting one, filled with different characters that would not normally be all together. What an interesting regiment this one would be shin had thought to himself. After his introduction he noticed the head man stand instructing the the rest of the group to follow him for a more private change of scenery. That made a lot of sense because you don't want unwanted ears hearing information that could later hinder them at a later time. Shin followed the captain and would see that a hidden door would open that was located at the back of the bar. "Wow" Shin did not expect to see such a thing. He guessed his captain was more of a resourceful man than he first believed.

The captain lead them down to a private room which looked pretty cool to shin. "This is interesting." As they walked in the room the captain stood at the head of this large table. Shin guessed he wanted them to take their position around the table before they sat down. He saw the cyborg stand at the seat next to the captain, but it seems not the one directly by the captain. Then the weird looking fishman took his position to the left of the captain. It also seems as if he took out a pad to take notes or maybe for another reason that he would know of later.

"Guess i will stand there."Shin decided to stand behind the seat between the cyborg and the captain just to fill the open spot. He had begun to wonder what sort of conversation they would be having, especially since the location spoke for itself that it had to be something important. This made the young marine a bit optimistic to hear what the captain had to say.

Lieutenant Long had frown. It seems like he didn't make the right impression further more
the captain seems to be an bit on the edge. Lieutenant Long decide to living things up just an little he had the perfect thing just for that. Lieutenant Long had follow his fellow crew-mates into the secret chamber as for his squad they would remind at the chambers door standing guard.  Long had waited for each crew member to take an seat before he would start his new trick. Once everyone was calm, and seated Long would jump directly on the table. He loosen the buttons of his black suit jacket reaching into his pocket as he produce Hades.

He had turn to Shin he then said,"I meant an guy like you before..... except he had white hair... you,and that girl behind me.... hair irritates  me. Thus one of you have to go... to many eh bright colors if you please." Long had attempted to point Hades directly at Shin head of course the gun wasn't loaded but they didn't know that. Long would fired Hades but the only things that came from the barrel was the sound of click. Lieutenant Long seems deeply disappoint cursing to himself he saidDue remember to salute you superior officer. That goes for everyone who is an Ensign expect the Captain I have grow very fond of the drunk.... for some reason."

Long had chuckle of course all of this was an attempt to be  honest Long was just looking for an bit of excitement if you know what I mean.

But there was a reckless at the door, and two Seaman recruits came rushing in. Both of them snap to attention as one of the left spoke,"Sir your superiors have requested your presents! There is high alert in another blue sir! Please come with us right away."

Seth had frowned then nodded as he drop off the table he had made his way out the building, and back towards base.

After everybody in the group assembled, Damocles nodded and gestured for his gathered comrades to sit down before he discussed the plans. Yet before doing so, he changed into something a bit more formal, which he did so only after stepping out of the room for a quick minute so he could undress and dress without causing much of a scandal. His outfit consisted of a black suit with a red dress shirt and a white marine coat with epaulets and black cuffs, which he draped over his shoulders and used like a cape. After fixing his black tie and adjusting his outfit, Damocles walked back to the room and then walked towards the back of the room, where a map of Crescent Island was plastered. Yet before he started discussing business, he asked if anybody would like something to drink, a fleeting courtesy that was sometimes far too ignored. It was only after the gathered Marines expressed their desires concerning refreshments that Damocles began his lecture.

"Well, now that we've finished with the formalities, let's begin. Our mission is thusly. W have received intel that Zachariah Marshals, pirate captain of the Bloody Crown Pirates, one of the more notorious crews in the South Blue, is planning a full-scale invasion on Crescent Island, the largest island in the South Blue. According to my sources, He hopes to completely transform the island into his center of operations and is willing to exterminate all of the animals and people who live in the otherwise peaceful island in the name of his imperial ambition. Furthermore, we have knowledge concerning a certain individual who once was affiliated with the Marines and currently lives in said island. However as of now he has not expressed any desire to be aided in this endeveour. Now, before we continue, I would like to discuss the officers of the crew." said Damocles as he gathered a stack of wanted posters and passed them around his crew.

"First of the crew is Suleiman Cross, also known as 'Twin Slash' Suleiman. Suleiman is considered the lowest ranked officer of the Bloody Crown Pirates and is mainly their negotiator, usually being deployed into diplomatic meetings concerning other pirates and crews before relaying the brokered deal back to his captain." Began Damocles as the poster of the man was passed around. "Next up is Alicia Von Karma, also known as the "Princess of Tears" who ate the giro giro no mi and commands the beastly duo, a team of twin brothers who are dim-witted as rocks but more than make up with their impressive strength. Be weary of her for while she appears weak and feeble, she is the head strategist of the crew and is one of the middle ranked officers." said Damocles as the poster of the woman with classical good looks was passed around. "Next we have Teague Renard, the beast master of the crew who is lord and master of a still unknown beast of reported strength. While Teague is said to be the weakest officer in the crew, his control over said beast is said to make up for his lack of combat prowess." continued Damocles as he fixed his tie and cleared his throat. " The last middle-ranked officer is Joan Marshals, mother of the Captain and First Mate of the crew and a former legendary pirate on her own admission. While age has robbed her of most of her skill, she is as to be highly dangerous and not to be underestimated." confirmed Damocles as he handed her poster, the image of a tired and exhausted elderly woman becoming clear and visible. "Now on to the finale. For the senior officers we have Chiara Marshals, First Mate of the crew and a paramecia Devil Fruit user who ate the Supa Supa no Mi. Finally stands Zachariah Marshals himself, Captain of the crew who is known for his ruthlessness and malice. While his devil fruit is still unknown, it is however reported that with his fruit he can grant life to otherwise lifeless objects inside his crew. These two are considered extremely dangerous and should only be fought in groups." finished Damocles as he passed the last two posters.

"Now, does anybody have any questions concerning the crew?"
