Task:

The rough waves crashed against the small ship sailing through the waters of the North Blue. The same ship that Cedric had been tailing for the past few days. Why was he following this ship? Well this ship was transporting people, not like a passenger ship, but a cargo ship. Cedric had tracked the slaver ship waiting for the right moment to make his move on the ship disabling it and taking out its crew before liberating the prisoners held inside. Between the dark of night and the rain of the storm, Cedric had the perfect cover for his attack. And then it was time.

Cedric swam beneath the waves on the right side of the ship. He swam a little bit ahead of the ship staying to it's right. There he stopped swimming and held his hands out in front of him one cupped over the other. A few seconds later he had gathered a Water Heart, a swirling orb of water in his hands. He expanded his hands increasing the size of the of the orb. He poked his head up on the surface of the water, he could see members of the ship's crew scuttling about the decks. Cedric determined his targets, then with a quick spin he hurled the the large orb of water towards the ship's deck. The orb connects with the deck, splashing and knocking down five of the men on the ship sweeping two of them overboard.

From the surf, Cedric leapt towards onto the ship's bow. Looking to one side of the ship the three other men that he hit didn't seem to be moving, and that was fine by him. He turned and faced back towards the rest of the crew. The fifteen remaining crew stared at Cedric's cloaked figure with a confused look. Taking advantage of their confusion, Cedric charged forward.

Quickly moving towards the the slaver ship's crew on the deck, Cedric held his right arm out allowing water from the rain to gather at his hand. In a swift motion Cedric swiped his arm in front of him, flinging droplets towards the small cluster of crew ahead of him. With his fishman strength the droplets became like arrow whizzing through the air. Three more crew went down as they were struck by the water droplets, followed by small spouts of blood exiting from the wounds. Cedric took a step forward and a shot rang out in the air as a bullet caught the outside of Cedric's arm. "Blast all this damn swayin' about!" An older and gruff voice shouted out from the upper deck near the helm. " Well don't just stand there lettin him hand yer asses to yeh! Attack!" The captain bellowed. With the morale boost from the captain, the remaining crew members began to charge Cedric. Cedric was able to fight off a few more of the crew before their numbers started to overwhelm him. As people started to pile on, he began to head towards the edge of the boat. He was able to shake off all but one of the people latched onto him before diving of the side into the ocean where the last one's grip loosened and he was swept away in the ocean. In the ocean, Cedric took up the same stance as before and started to prepare his next attack on the ship.

Below the water Cedric gathered a sphere of swirling water between his bowled hands before him. With the Water's Heart complete, Cedric took of swimming to catch up to the ship. A current of water trailed behind him tailing the swirling sphere in his hand. Moving at full clip Cedric shot towards the surface to launch himself onto the ship for his next attack.

On the ship, the able bodied crew steadied themselves on the violently rocking deck of the ship. " Be on yer guard!" The captain yelled. " 'At fish bastard can attack from anywhere." he said. Some of the remaining crew took up what defensive positions they could, while the others tried to maintain control of the ship.

From below the surface, Cedric launched up and onto the deck with a trail of spiraling water following him. "Captain!" one of the crew members yelled. The defending crew rushed to attempt the bum-rush tactic again. Cedric landed on the deck with a heavy thud before stepping and swinging the tailing stream in front of him. "Cobalt Sweep." Cedric said as the water swiped the charging crowd in front of him. The five crew members coming towards the large fishman found themselves being knocked away by the stream of water. The men were flung back against the wall of the upper deck, colliding with a hard thud.

Cedric took up fighting stance ready to take on the next lot. However of the crew still on their feet, the captain was missing. Looking around he didn't see the captain anywhere. Then a voice yelled from above. Cedric looked up to see the captain descending from above on a rope with his sword drawn. Cedric managed to leap out of the way, but the captain managed to land a cut on Cedric's arm taking off part of the spine. The captains boots hit the deck with a loud but squishy thud. " Now Fish-lad" He started. " How 'bout we end ya for good?" He said. as Cedric faced the captain, a low chuckle rose up behind him as he heard more boots land on the deck. Cedric turned his head looking at the rest of the slaver crew surrounding him." If we get ya in good condition, you might fetch a nice price." The captain said moving towards Cedric.

Cedric took up his fighting stance once again, as he found himself surrounded by the slaver crew . This time though, he held his right hand palm up, allowing water from the rain to gather in his cupped, webbed hand. He shifted his weight and turned around towards the slavers, flinging his hand with an arc. "Blue Fan." He said as the water gathered in his hand spread out at a rapid rate. The fan of droplets of water spreading out from his hand impacted the remaining slaver crew members. The slavers eyes rolled back as fell back while blood sprayed out from where they were struck by the water droplets.

Then Cedric turned back around to face the captain, just in time to catch a sword blade slashing across his chest. Cedric put a hand on his chest. " So ya took care of the lackeys." The captain said. " My mother could take those simpletons." The captain taunted, flourishing his sword. Cedric wiped his hand across his chest, shaking off his blood from his hand, before shifting into his fighting stance. "You have my full attention now." He said.  Because of the adrenalin from the current situation, he wasn't feeling the pain he probably normally would have.

The Pirate captain lunged forward with his sword. Cedric sidestepped the blade and allowed blocked the flat of the sword with the spine on his left arm. His stance shifted as he made a fist with his free hand and stared through the captain. "Fishman Karate: 100 Tile Punch." He says as he drove his fist into the captain's chest. The impact of the punch caused the captain to drop his sword and hunch over. Cedric stepped to the side as the captain began to blow chunks on the deck of the ship. Cedric took this chance to grab the captain and with his fishman strength to throw him into the wall in order to knock him out.

With everyone of the deck dealt with, Cedric moved throughout the ship to find some rope to tie up the slavers and their captain, as well as some bandages for himself. After finding some rope and fixing himself up, Cedric returned to bind up and gag the slaver crew.

With the crew members and the captain tied up and pacified, Cedric was able to take relax a little. He took a moment to catch his breath and stared up at the sky with the rain continuing to come down. He reached into his pack and pulled out a small transponder snail before walking towards thebow of the ship. He pressed the button on the to and the the snail started to ring. After a few rings someone picked up. "Yes?" the voice on the other answered, as the snail mimicked the facial expressions. "Cedric checking in. I've subdued the ships crew and released the captives. Requesting extraction." Cedric said. He gave his location to the person on the other end. " We'll send an extraction team." the voice said. Cedric clicked the snail off. He moved down the deck towards the hatch in the deck, grabbing a lantern from one of the masts. He unlocked the latch with the key he'd looted from the captain. Throwing open the hatch, the lantern illuminated faces of people in rags with their feet chained to the floors. Cedric climbed down into the ship's hold, faces looked up at him. "Do not be alarmed." Cedric said. "Your freedom is at hand." He said unlocking one of the captive's chains. " Help free the rest of them." he said to the prisoner he'd just released, handing him the keys. "An extraction team will be here soon to get you all out of here." He said.

After getting the captives out from below deck, Cedric had them wait in the captain's quarters. Meanwhile he stayed out on the deck in the rain to wait for the extraction team. He waited for several more minutes before another ship sailed up next to the slaver ship and boarded. Cedric helped escort the former captives onto the extraction ship. One of the extraction crew came up to Cedric. "What do we want to do with the ship and crew?" He asked. Cedric looked back at the ship and  the tied up slavers. "We could always use some more ships. How about we take the ship and strand the crew in a rowboat." he said. " we want them to spread the word about what happens to slavers." He said. " Very well." the other revolutionist said. With that, Cedric got onto the extraction ship.
