Pirates

Kincaid
Priority: Primary
Fighting Style: Devil Fruit
Skill Set Name: Gura Gura no Mi – The Man Who Shook the World
Skill Set Information: This fruit allows the user to create vibrations, or "quakes” making the user a Tremor Human. The major strength granted by this fruit is its user's ability to generate massive vibrations, or shockwaves, which can travel though virtually any medium, including the ground, the seafloor, and even the air. The user of this fruit can devastate an entire island with ease, creating massive fissures in the ground and all-consuming tsunamis. The major downside to this fruit is danger to friend and foe alike. While the user can control the magnitude and point of impact of each individual quake, the ensuing ripple effect spreads indiscriminately and can catch unsuspecting allies just as easily as it can foes.
Passives:

  • (III)Grand Radar - Due to the user's affinity with vibrations, he can naturally sense vibrations in the air and ground around him, acting as a sort of natural radar. This maps out the area around him, showing him what people and objects surround them even if they're hidden from site. However, being they're just vibrations it only paints a hazy picture of what the people and objects look like, showing in his mind outlines and basic features but no detail or color. The base range of this passive is a 10m diameter. By paying stamina each post he can further extend the range.

    • 20m Diameter: 5 Stamina
    • 30m Diameter: 10 Stamina
    • 50m Diameter: 20 Stamina

  • (III) Pure Power – Being one of the most powerful and destructive fruits in existence, the user’s skills are given a +1 tier boost in power.
  • (Lvl then Description)

Skillset Strengths:

  • +1 Superiority over ice and earth/ground based fruits/skills

Skillset Weaknesses:

  • Splash damage effect, meaning most of the time allies have to be careful when near the user of the Gura Gura no Mi

Notes:

Lightly Damaged - N/A
Attribute Priorities:

  • Strength
  • Speed | Durability (Predator)
  • Perception

Tier 1 Skills:

Skill Name: Brich – “Break”
Tier: 1
Type Offense
Range: 15m
Speed: 2
Description: This is the staple skill of the Gura Gura no Mi, the user moves in some way, usually a punch or a kick, and sends destructive vibrations towards the target. Generally this skill is used at close range but the user is able to displace air with the vibrations up to 15m away, shattering things like wood, stone and bone instantly.

Skill Name: Einsturz – “Collapse”
Tier: 1
Type Offensive
Range: 15m
Speed: 2
Description: Unlike many of the user’s skills in which he generates earthquakes that spread outward, this skill generates a quake bubble (up to 15m in diameter) around the target (target must be within 5m of the user). The user then collapses the quake bubble, activating it and causing the target to be bombarded with massive vibrations that can shatter bones and break materials according to the MDL. This quake is contained to just the bubble and the vibrations are not felt outside of it, making it safe to use around allies so long as they are not within the bubble.

Skill Name: Zittern-stief – “Quake Step”
Tier: 1
Type Utility
Range: Self
Speed: Own
Description: This skill has the user focus vibrations in his feet, allowing him to burst forward at max speed instantaneously. As a result of the destructive power of this fruit, a small crater is left behind in the user’s wake about 5m in diameter and deals minor damage to anyone caught in it, friend and foe alike.

Tier 2 Skills:

Skill Name: Zerbrechen – “Shatter”
Tier: 2
Type Defensive
Range: Within 5m of user
Speed: Own
Description: The user focuses a quake bubble around one of his body parts and swings it or holds it up to an incoming attack whether it be made of something physical (stone, metal, flesh, etc.) or something non-physical (fire, water, air, etc.). Once the two skills clash, the vibrations generated by the user cause the incoming attack to harmlessly shatter apart, ending the attack before it can do any damage to the user or anyone in the area. This skill is effective against Tier 3 skills and below.

Skill Name: Brich II – “Break”
Tier: 2
Type Offense
Range: 30m
Speed: 3
Description: This is the staple skill of the Gura Gura no Mi, the user moves in some way, usually a punch or a kick, and sends destructive vibrations towards the target. Generally this skill is used at close range but the user is able to displace air with the vibrations up to 30m away, shattering things like wood, stone, iron and bone instantly.

Skill Name: Schroten – “Crush”
Tier: 2
Type Offensive
Range: 30m
Speed: 3
Description: The user generates a quake bubble around his foot or fist and stomps into the ground in front of him. This causes vibrations to travel through the ground up to 30m in front of him (at a width of 20m). These vibrations then cause the earth to rupture, sending large chunks of rock and stone into the air up to 15m before raining down on the area. The force from the vibrations is so powerful it can break materials equivalent to the tier 2 MDL.

Tier 3 Skills:

Skill Name: Molekülzusammenbruch – “Molecule Collapse”
Tier: 3
Type Offensive
Range: Touch
Speed: Own
Description: This skill is extremely dangerous and often used in combination with Arthur’s other skillset. Rather than attempting to create large-scale vibrations as he so often does, Arthur focuses a quake bubble to the point of his two fingertips. The quake bubble generated is so small it’s invisible to the naked human eye. Upon touching a target, the vibrations will spread out across the targeted area, but rather than do any obvious external damage, the vibrations will cause the breakdown of the target’s molecular structure. Effectively this means the targeted area will simply disintegrate before the target’s eyes, but on the molecular level the target’s molecules are being broken down and atoms scattered, disrupting the structure of the target. At this stage the vibrations end after disrupting an entire limb on a living creature. For inanimate or non-living objects, Arthur can destroy the molecules of an object 25m in length/width before the vibrations cease so long as it is made of Treasure Tree Adam Wood or below.

Skill Name: Mittelpunkt – “Epicenter”
Tier: 3
Type Offensive/Defensive
Range: 50m AOE
Speed: 4
Description: The user generates a massive shockwave of vibrations that spreads out all around him at tier 4 speeds in a 50m diameter, crushing friend and foe alike. The vibrations are able to shatter objects and people equivalent to the Tier 3 MDL listing. After this skill is used a large crater spanning the distance of the skill usually marks the ground around the user. As the vibrations spread out in a sphere shape that means the area both above and below the user is dangerous, leaving it nearly impossible to avoid without outrunning it. The shockwaves are also powerful enough to deflect incoming attacks equivalent to Tier 4 and below.

Tier 4 Skills:

Skill Name: Stumm – “Mute”
Tier: 4
Type Utility
Range: 60m diameter
Speed: 4
Description: Being a tremor human doesn’t mean the user can only manipulate vibrations in a destructive way and this skill is proof enough. The user generates a quake bubble in a sphere shape around himself in a 75m diameter, his body acting as the epicenter. Within this bubble no vibrations can exist, except for the user’s own, and no vibrations can enter this bubble unless he so deems it. This means the area within the quake bubble is entirely silent, with no sound able to leave, enter, or even be generated so long as this bubble is up.

Skill Name: Zerbrechen II – “Shatter”
Tier: 4
Type Defensive
Range: Within 5m of user
Speed: Own
Description: The user focuses a quake bubble around one of his body parts and swings it or holds it up to an incoming attack whether it be made of something physical (stone, metal, flesh, etc.) or something non-physical (fire, water, air, etc.). Once the two clash, the vibrations generated by the user cause the incoming attack to harmlessly shatter apart, ending the attack before it can do any damage to the user or anyone in the area. This skill is effective against Tier 5 skills and below.

Tier 5 Skills:

Skill Name: Mittelpunkt II – “Epicenter”
Tier: 5
Type Offensive/Defensive
Range: 250m AOE
Speed: 6
Description: The user generates a massive shockwave of vibrations that spreads out all around him at tier 6 speeds in a 250m diameter, crushing friend and foe alike. The vibrations are able to shatter objects and people equivalent to the Tier 5 MDL listing. After this skill is used a large crater spanning the distance of the skill usually marks the ground around the user. As the vibrations spread out in a sphere shape that means the area both above and below the user is dangerous, leaving it nearly impossible to avoid without outrunning it. The shockwaves are also powerful enough to deflect incoming attacks equivalent to Tier 6 and below.

Skill Name: Molekülzusammenbruch II – “Molecule Collapse”
Tier: 5
Type Offensive
Range: Touch
Speed: Own
Description: This skill is extremely dangerous and often used in combination with Arthur’s other skillset. Rather than attempting to create large-scale vibrations as he so often does, Arthur focuses a quake bubble to the point of his two fingertips. The quake bubble generated is so small it’s difficult to detect with the naked human eye. At this stage the vibrations end after the entire target/object has been destroyed, spreading out across the entirety of the target at Tier 6 speeds. For inanimate or non-living objects, Arthur can destroy the molecules of an object 150m in length/width before the vibrations cease so long as it is made of Diamond or below.

Tier 6 Skills:

Skill Name: Brechen der Welt – “Breaking of the World”
Tier: 6
Type Offensive
Range: Island
Speed: 7
Description: This is one of the Gura Gura no Mi user’s most devastating skills, able to erase an entire island off the face of the map if he so chooses. The user initiates this skill by literally grabbing ahold of the air around him and pulling on it. This sends massive, unseen vibrations throughout the island and surrounding area, literally splitting the tectonic plates and tilting the island to an unimaginable degree. The ensuing tilting and generated vibrations causes massive fissures to form in the island (usually breaking the island apart altogether within 3 posts), destroying anything made of the materials listed in the Tier 6 MDL list. Anyone on the island is thrown off their feet and unable to stand unless they are held in place by an outside force (IE skill, devil fruit, invention, etc.).

Passives:

  • (III)Grand Radar – Thanks to his natural affinity with vibrations, Arthur can passively sense the slightest disruption around him. He is able to actually feel even the faintest vibrations occurring in a 30m diameter around him at any given moment whether they are on the ground, in the air, or what have you. As a result if Arthur were to close his eyes he’d have a perfect map of the area around him at any given time. This picture in his mind however isn’t detailed but instead just the outlines and shapes of people/objects meaning he can’t see things like color, body scars, tattoos, etc. This requires no conscious effort, but is instead a 6th sense of sorts that Arthur has picked up due to his time with the fruit.
I haven't seen any paramicea give benefits like this, without really doing anything. So, this is going to be a no from me.

Make them visible. And when you touch someone, lets say their arm, how fast does this travel across their entire body?

Tier 6 Skills:

Skill Name: Brechen der Welt – “Breaking of the World”
Tier: 6
Type Offensive
Range: Island
Speed: 7
Description: This is one of the Gura Gura no Mi user’s most devastating skills, able to erase an entire island off the face of the map if he so chooses. The user initiates this skill by literally grabbing ahold of the air around him and pulling on it. This sends massive, unseen vibrations throughout the island and surrounding area, literally splitting the tectonic plates and tilting the island to an unimaginable degree. The ensuing tilting and generated vibrations causes massive fissures to form in the island (usually breaking the island apart altogether), destroying anything made of the materials listed in the Tier 6 MDL list. Those with Tier 7 strength are forced to the ground and unable to move for the post this skill takes place, while those with Tier 6 strength or below are thrown off their feet and literally thrown through the air, causing damage equivalent to the tier 5 MDL.

Remove the strength bit you are squeezing in. When everything shifts people will fall over regardless of strength unless they use something to keep them in place. Also, you aren't going to be destroying a island instantly. You will need a post amount it takes to cover the entire island.

Alright as for the skills, I'm a little uncomfortable with the small scale shockwave manipulation at Tier 3/4, but after reading it's parent skill, I'm not as worried about that aspect as much. I just will say this, any further skills doing small scale molecular level damage, that level of sensitivity and control, would be around T5 and T6 moving forward. Imo. All depends on whose grading it in the future but you're gucci on the skills.

MDL is tight.

My only problem is with the Passive. Now, yes, the Gura Gura fruit has the title of most destructive fruit in the world and in terms of share power, it out weights most fruits. However, the leeway has been given in terms of some these AOE ranges, this is the only skillset to date that has at it's raw level, island/district level destruction permitted. Boosting your skills by a whole Tier, I'mma have to go with Sabo and say, no too :/

Alternative: Maybe a passive that when facing surfaces with Partial Mat. Destruction, for a stamina cost, you can bump up the MD to Complete for that one instance? I'd be more useful imo than just a raw Tier Boost and that'd be around 30-35 Stamina to activate.

If you really are keen on this passive, change the wording to just boosting your attribute to Str + 1, since when using the Skill Formula, it'd give you what you want in the long run.

Other than that, 2/2 is realistic. I have no other qualms, except you're dude will be scary af to mess with. As this fruit should be.

I'm not sure I agree with leeway being given just because of the fruit. I'm a strength priority and the rules state: "Strength - Your skills are naturally deal more damage and your area of effect (AOE) Skills including the damage you cause to the environment as collateral is enhanced."

Seeing as we don't have a clear defined rule of what tiers can be what range, it makes sense with or without the fruit that any of my AOE skills would be longer range than "normal".

As for the passive, Sabo never stated he had a problem with this passive. The one he denied I already deleted. If you yourself still have a problem with the passive that's left, that's fine, I can change it. However, after doing some looking I found that the passive I have is almost identical to a tier 2 passive (mine was tier 3) which Line has which states:

"Lvl 2: Nora is able to passively sense all electromagnetic and magnetic fields around her, how they move, anything that moves/disturbs them, and what within range may or may not be influenced or manipulated by these fields - allowing her to be completely in tune with the electromagnetic spectrum and the ability to interpret the various ranges of energy. A 50m diameter is the range of this passive sensing."

This can be found here: http://op-piratenation.forumotion.com/t8662-all-things-end

Actually, speaking of which, your own Oto skillset had an extremely similar passive to what I was trying to do. The first one found here: http://op-piratenation.forumotion.com/t8901-oto-oto-no-mi-revamp

However, that's not your problem because you didn't see it before I deleted it so I'll repost it for Sabo.

Line also has another passive which is the exact same as this second one you want me to change:
"Lvl 3: By focusing on the optimization of the electromagnetic waves that Nora is capable of outputting, she has found that her abilities now have increased potency. The Strength behind any of Nora's skills when using this devil fruit is has been boosted by +1."

Found here: http://op-piratenation.forumotion.com/t8730-all-things-end-passive

You may interpret it differently but I see that as being a +1 tier boost, not a +1 tier in strength.

Your Oto skillset from before also has a similar passive to this second one stating:
"LVL III{Attribute Boost} - Raw Pressure: + 1 Strength to all skills used by the Oto Oto No Mi skillset."

Which really means the same exact thing because Strength is physical, you're manipulating sound waves meaning +1 strength would mean they're +1 stronger than they were. Unless you interpret that differently, which is fair, but I just don't see it :/

Basically I'll change whatever because I just want this approved but after a little bit of digging the things I'm trying to get approved have already been approved a handful of times so this isn't really new...

EDIT: I put the original first passive Sabo didn't like back up because of all the evidence it's doing the exact same thing as other passives approved before it so I'm willing to put up a small fight for it.
