The situation in Atlantis was immensely stable at this point, even more so than before Oceanus had arrived. The sense of urgency for survival joined the Atlantians like never before, noble and common folk all fighting as one against Oceanus and his Army. Citizens and soldiers helped load the ships with food, water and ammo onto the Fifty Manned Coated Vessels, which would exit Atlantis and head off towards Fishman Island. "Sir. I'm One Hundred Percent against you leaving for this campaign." one of the Ambassador's chimed in. As the Ambassador's huddled around the bottom of the steps to the throne room, which was now more like a open air gallery thanks to the Frog's Attack. Slouching with one palm propping up his head, "So, you expect me to ask these men... Most of them strangers to fight on the behalf of me without risking my own life?" Triton responded. "That'd be a disgrace to the Merman Name and to my name... I'm not afraid of Oceanus and his men's claims to suppress us. These injustices have gone far enough." Triton snapped back at his council, causing the men to waver in their pleas.

"Then what Triton. If you die, what's going to be the Fate of Atlantis? Another Celestial Dragon... Oh no, another noble. Maybe this time a revolutionary or a Yonko?" Mimi comment, listening to the conversation from distance away as she traversed towards the council meeting. "If I live, it'll be the same as if I died. Atlantis had no proper leader... My brother was a fool. He used his power to get in bed with the World Government after that foolish Queen abandoned us. I'll gamble with Atlantis this one last time. Rather a dictatorship than eventual society collapse." Triton said. All the four states returned to normal for the most part, until the time of calling, the Warriors of Atlantis where escorted to the Dining Room of the Main Palace. It was an occasion to behold, even in times of strife, the Upper Class Of Atlantis found time to dress for a feast. The whole ballroom had a black and white dress code, Aristocrats, Scholars and Decorated Warriors all drank merrily, as Atlantis was saved, the backdraft from the Social Fire lit by the Celestial Dragon had birthed a culture of greed. For now, Atlantis was a prey but in a few years, would it be? No one knew the knew Princes Claim, maybe he'd stray from his righteous path? With murmurs of the World Government showing interest in Atlantis due to it's rich jungle life and natural resources, was it only a matter of time before it was claimed again.

Sitting a table at the back of the hall, two Nobles spoke. Little did anyone know, that such a private conversation might tip the scales of everything that was to come in the next four days. The War would be remembered in History as the War Of The Seas, many would die, few would gain the world's eyes and even less would forever be scarred. "It seems your pick to win has failed you, Lana." the Puff Fish Merman inquired. Leaning back into the chair, the woman Lana, a merwoman with catfish type traits, sipped a bit of her champagne, in attempts to lighten her dreary spirits. "I can't believe Porter lost. I spend millions funding his little charades... For it to blow up in smoke. At least he played his parts... The Engines are broken. Atlantis will never submerge again. Meaning, while those mix raced armies fight in our aid, we the Nobles will sit here untouched." Lana said. "At least now the prophecy is fulfilled. It's symbolic. Centuries ago, we fled Fish Man Island's scorn for us. Now, Centuries later we returned as the Hunting. That Gypsy's Prophecy on Fishman Island will soon be complete." the Puff Fish Merman said, swallowing the champagne. " 'There will come a blood time. A time... Where four relics of the past will shatter. An army of rags will assemble and sever the Head of The Ruler of Depths.' Or something like that... It's the last part that interests us... 'And then... A Blood Moon will shine down. It's rays will point to The City of MacGyver." Lana concluded. "MacGyver... Wallace's old crewmate... He was the Treasure Plotter huh? They say those who find The City of MacGyver find not only a decade worth of wealth but more importantly... The Road Poneglyph." the Merman concluded.

"Nico! You idiot!" Octavia shouted. "Can't you see that Frog was trying to save me! BOO BOO!" Octavia shouted at the fedora wearing Songbird. "I wasn't here... I have no clue what happen. All I have is Junbei's best-" Nico stated, before ending his sentence, Junbei had already shot off chasing after the Frog. Taking flight the Yonko was directly a few meters behind the Frog's jump, not directly in route with her launch path but to the side of hiim. In his Frog form, he was truly monstrous looking, however, Junbei knew that below it all, was a fragile being much more human and frail in nature than any of them present. "OI!" Junbei shouted, still glimpses away from the Frog's current position in the sky. "I NEED YOU! FROG!" Junbei shouted. "Just like I need Nico! Just like I need Octavia! Charlotte! Daenys! I need you, Hilda!" Junbei shouted loudly for everyone to hear. Finally catching up, the Yonko hovered in mid-air, now floating streamline from his course in the sky. "I won't tell you I don't feel sorry for Bojack. It'd be lying. However, it's the same thing with the Gomu Gomu Eater... After that I realised... Following us isn't as lackluster as I put it on to be." Junbei declared. "I don't blame you for either deaths! You did what you had to do!"Junbei shouted. "If Octavia says there was no choice... Why would I doubt you!? I just need you to not respond to everything like the world's always against you! I keep saying this you idiot! Frog is Frog! I believe in you!" Junbei shouted.

Honestly, Junbei knew his pleads could go either way. At this point, Nico was still resolved on his stance, this was day that would change the dynamics in the Songbird Pirates forever. "Why is he always like this..." Nico whispered. "Even when I stabbed him in the back... He uttered off this same garbage." Nico said, angrily clenching his fists. "You can't be so damn trusting all of the time Junbei!" Nico shouted. As Nico's screamed bellowed to the heavens, Octavia slapped Nico across his face. The sound of the slap echoed throughout the whole throne room, and as every rare full moon, Octavia's facial expression and eyes became clear, serious, more refined. "That's enough Nico." Octavia responded, oddly calmly, juxtapose to her angry expression. "I get it. You don't trust anyone with Junbei. However, doting over him won't allow him to grow. What do you think of his dream to become Pirate King? As some joke he just rattles off... Even I understand that I alone am not enough to make Junbei's dreams come through. Frog. Me. You. All of us swore some kind of oath to help his dream. Just because your afraid to die before he sees his... Doesn't mean you should act out due to your own insecurities." Octavia responded. "I know." Nico said, covering his tears with his arm shelve. "And ask yourself this... If Junbei went all out... Would we all not also be collateral damage due to his abilities? Those two... They can change the world. All we can do is support them. If we can't survive that... Much like Bojack... We deserve too to perish." Octaiva concluded. Snapping back to her usual cheerful expression, "BUT! THAT'S TOO SAD MAN! I JUST PLAN TO KEEP GETTING STRONGER! BESIDES... FROM MY LAST EXAMINATION! I FINALLY KNOW FROG'S SECRET. HUE HUE" Octavia said, wiggling her pinky finger.

Daenys stood around five feet behind the rest as they spoke, she could still hear of course, but she spoke no words, only listened… It was interesting that another crew member; though to his own fault succumbed to his death on this day… Then the frog spoke for the first time since the group had gathered back up, Daenys put no blame, if the fool wouldn’t listen to command it was as simple as that. A simple rule of finger she had always thought, as to listen to your superiors; as they had done battle, and had more wisdom than someone who just started.  She shook her head softly; it had been his own fault; much like it was her own fault for believing she should be safe on a pirate crew. Many dangerous things still lay ahead, and she didn’t know if she could survive it… She wasn’t sure if she could even become Queen of Dressrosa anymore… If she were too weak, she couldn’t protect her people… She wasn’t anything like her mother, or her father… She was so much weaker.

Daenys caught the last little bit of Frogs words, that not all of the Songbirds were disposable; however Daenys knew right away she had been one of them that were, she was new to this Crew, she didn’t know Frog much, in fact she didn’t know anyone but Junbei, and even then she only knew Junbei very little… She closed her eyes and gave a small but very quiet sigh; did she even have a right to be there? She barely survived her ‘mission’, she didn’t belong on a pirate crew, and she hasn’t her father… She wasn’t as noble as her mother… She didn’t belong anywhere… She certainly didn’t belong with this group of pirates.

She found herself slowly walking off, quite as a mouse as a single tear drop fell from her right eye, she didn’t bother with it, she wasn’t sure if she would bother much anymore… She may have helped this one time, but how in the world would she help again? She would be more of a liability than help… And yet, as she walked further away, she didn’t feel better, she felt worst, she felt worst because she wasn’t strong enough to be able to overcome those fears… She wasn’t strong enough to overcome the thought of dying. She knew the moment Junbei flew after Frog would be her only chance to walk away from it all without having to explain, she wasn’t sure if she would even get very far, she held light brother tightly as she looked up towards the crowns of the staff, her mother and father, the King and Queen… She couldn’t ever be like either of them… She needed to train, to get better…

She came to a stop when she reached the stairs, looking back towards the few of the Songbirds left in the hallway, did she really want to leave? She wasn’t sure… She was angry, and hurt… Sent off to fight in something she almost didn’t win… She knew her life didn’t mean as much as the others… And that hurt. She wanted leave… But at the same time, she knew that the people of Atlantis still needed help… But was it her help they needed? They still had the rest of the Songbirds, and it wasn’t really like she was much a part of them to begin with, she may have saw Junbei as a brother, and cared for him as such, but perhaps joining his crew was a bad idea…

She hadn’t ever had a brother, nor a sister… She only ever had her parents, and having a chance with a brother; Junbei gave that to her… But perhaps that blinded her decision making skill… Perhaps she wanted to reach so far, so fast that she had made a rather large mistake… She wanted to get better, but she joined a crew of well off members… Whereas she was weak and unable to fight like the rest, she held her breath in for a moment, and her eyes closed tightly, she wasn’t sure if she would stay, or go… But she knew that in the end, once they left Atlantis she wouldn’t be staying with the Songbirds, instead she would make her own ‘crew’ perhaps… A Crew of equally matched people… But could she bring herself to leave Junbei? She had promised to stay with him; he was her brother now after all… But she couldn’t… She couldn’t hold the Songbirds back….And that was what it felt like, like she was holding them back, that she needed to be protected, that she followed them into a situation that she herself couldn’t handle, she already saw what happened to Bojack, that very much could have been her… She was almost as useless as him… But she would have been able to follow orders at least…

As she stopped looking at them, she turned her head, and moved down the stairs, once she reached the bottom, she stopped once more, pressing her lips together tightly, no she wouldn’t leave on terms like this… She needed to let Junbei know. She wasn’t raised to act like this; she would talk to Junbei before she left for Sabaody.

It was unfair. Lin grinned to herself as the ship she was on began to depart for the war on Fishman Island. She was leaning on the railing of the deck watching as the coated ship plunged into the deep waters heading to the undersea island. It was bound to happen sooner or later. The power Oceanus amassed allowed him to take control of one of the only passages to the New World. But the World Government and Marines were not going to let him have his way forever. It was just surprising that Atlantis finished their arrangements for this assault much sooner and she was now a part of it. She was going to get a head start at taking the fight to the Pirate King while the rest of her comrades were still stuck at home with their preparations. It was truly unfair. The Marines were missing out.

Atlantis had a Yonko on their side, as well as a bunch of other big names. This whole thing had been a big party of bounty holders. It would be a lie to say she wasn't having a hard time controlling herself from getting into a head on confrontation. She was merely sating her competitiveness by directing her energies to outdoing her 'rivals' in the war. But it was hard to be satisfied by just that when she didn't know how exactly the other teams were doing. The announcement from Triton didn't really say much other than confirming everyone else was successful. Perhaps a more straightforward war in Fishman Island will allow for a more direct competition.

She was more careful in Atlantis as there were too many unknown factors that might have affected her mission if she caught too much attention. But now was different. There were no shortcuts to liberating an island. Defeat, subdue, or completely drive away all enemies were the only options. All of which called for her not pulling any punches. Especially if she would need to go up against any of Oceanus' generals. She wasn't fortunate enough to run into them in Atlantis. Maybe she'll be luckier this time. She also wanted to see for herself what the other members of this expedition were capable of.

Fishman Island was apparently right below them so the trip wasn't going to be as long as the last one. They might even run into enemy forces midway this time since they were directly assaulting the Pirate King's territory. If he or his generals were any competent, they would have heard of their failure in Atlantis by now and this counterattack heading their way. A welcoming party, even one hastily put together, would be an exciting gift. She wasn't expecting to see Oceanus himself, but something far more impressive and dangerous than the forces that attacked Atlantis would certainly be in order.

Again it was unfair. She was having too much fun.
