Priority: Primary
Fighting Style: Devil Fruit
Skill Set Name: Miasma Miasma Fruit
Skill Set Information: The Miasma Fruit is a Paramecia class Devil Fruit that allows the consumer to generate miasma. Miasma is a decaying force that brings rot, ruin, decomposition, erosion, corrosion, etc to materials via contact with it. It can be released as a gaseous substance like a black mist/smoke or released in a stronger concentration that resembles the black flames of the Yami Yami no Mi. This allows the user to increase the rate at which things decompose. The user is naturally immune to their miasma, but as a consequence for ingesting the fruit they suffer smelling like a rotting corpse 24/7. Despite attempts to clean oneself, the smell comes from inside as if it is their very innards that are rotting. This leads to them having horrendously bad breath even if they are very hygienic.

With Miasma, virtually any form of solid matter is vulnerable to its powers. Metals and minerals crumble from eroding and corroding in the form of rusting or weathering away till they crumble under their own weight. Things like flesh, muscles, and organs suffer from necrosis which causes rapid decay of targeted matter. Vegetation and things of the sort rot and wither away till just about nothing but stinky mush is left.

The user becomes a plague of sorts. Additionally no matter how hard miasma is projected it has no tangible form in the sense it can't cause blunt or slashing damage. It is still a gas though and can displace other gasses causing somewhat of a breeze if released in large volumes.

(Link to purchase of passives)
Skillset Strengths:

  • Ignores Durability and goes straight to decomposing organic matter regardless of how tough they may be.
  • Gaseous form of miasma can seep through the smallest cracks to expand to full range if the user activates the technique from point blank against said crack.

Skillset Weaknesses:

  • Leaves a large amount of materials unscathed.
  • Flames can be dispelled with water.
  • Gas logia could assume control of Miasma in both the flame and gaseous form as it is a gas.

Notes:
  • When decomposing a substance it can either turn it to ashes/dust or into a rotten form of its former self.
  • When used in/on soil or grasslands it can turn the areas into bogs or swamps of mush.
  • Gas has more range, but is weaker in concentration.
  • Flames have less range, stick to decomposable matter like real flames, and more potent.
  • Contact obviously has less range, but the strongest concentration.
  • Gas is non-flammable

Rot Chart:

This chart logs how fast decomposition happens on people and pets at each Skill Tier.
As far as miasma is concerned there are three layers to breaking down living beings. Epidermis, muscle tissue, then organs.

  • Tier 1 Gas - Post 1-3 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 4-5 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 6-7 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 1 Flames - Post 1-2 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 3-4 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 5 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 1 Contact - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2-3 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 4 Eats away at organs.

  • Tier 2 Gas - Post 1-3 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 4-5 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 6-7 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 2 Flames - Post 1-2 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 3-4 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 5-6 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 2 Contact - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 3-4 Eats away at organs.

  • Tier 3 Gas - Post 1-2 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 3-4 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 5-6 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 3 Flames - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2-3 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 4-5 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 3 Contact - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 3 Eats away at organs.

  • Tier 4 Gas - Post 1-2 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 3-4 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 5 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 4 Flames - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2-3 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 4 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 4 Contact - Post 1-2 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 3 Eats away at organs.

  • Tier 5 Gas - Post 1 Eats away at layers of epidermis. Post 2 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 3 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 5 Flames - Post 1 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 2 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 5 Contact - Post 1 Eats away at organs.

  • Tier 6 Gas - Post 1 Eats away at layers of muscle. Post 2 Eats away at organs.
  • Tier 6 Flames - Instant decomposition.
  • Tier 6 Contact - Instant decomposition.

Mat Destruction:

Completely destroyed entails instant decomposition. Partially Destroyed entails decomposition after 3 post. Lightly Damage entails decomposition after 5 post.

  • Tier 1:
Completely Destroyed - Stone, Vegetation, Soil, and dirt
    Partially Destroyed - Iron
