Name: Meredith Wethers
Alias/Epithet: Merryweather (Merry for short)
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Occupation: Navigator
Affiliation: Revolutionary
Use: Non-combat
Tier: 2
Equipment: -
Haki: -
Attribute Priority: Perception
World Position: -
General Appearance:
Weight: 72 kg
Personality: Meredith is a dutiful one. He joined the revolutionary army as a teenager and believes fully in their ability to shape the world. Time will tell how deep this conviction lies, but its effects are undeniable as he's extremely dedicated to the cause. Despite being delegated to being a messenger and a ferryman (and for a good reason; the lad has the combat readiness of a lambkin) he will do all in his power to get the job done.
Meredith isn't exactly stupid, but his youth and lack of education do stop him from being considered all that smart either. He works his best when allowed to take his time, and has proven on multiple occasion that sometimes dedication mixed with time can sometimes trump a naturally clever mind. Unfortunately his mind lacks flexibility, and even smallest setbacks can unravel the whole process. He's stubborn, and making him admit being in the wrong a great challenge (and, in turn, so is stopping him from pestering you should the opposite be true).
The lad has odd interests, or lack thereof. You won't hear him moaning over petty matters, or big ones at that, but at the same time he seems equally unfazed by any strokes of luck, both great and small. If it's anything short of a life-threatening situation, his mood remains in its constant, unrippled state. You can often find him staring vacantly into the distance, and any inquiries are met with only a shrug. But even if you don't know what to make of Meredith, you most likely don't mind working with him.
