The Jade Emperor

Jade's face had dipped right back into the news coo as he finished talking to the new stranger. He still couldn't get over the bounties of everyone in the paper, especially Oceanus's! man he swear he needed to start training and do more so he could be more known but another think ate at him that was quite hilarious, what would the name be that they gave him once he was known? maybe something simple like the songbird swordsman or just simply the swordsmen. I hope they dont give me such a crappy nickname like that Jade thought to himself as he finally took at his head to look at Junbei and the stranger that was now with the songbirds. Jade really hoped that this man was not a threat to them, he would have hated to have to cut him with his sword.

As he put the news coo down, Jade got up and stood besides his captain as Junbei had winked at him. He took it as that he wanted Jade to follow him and nothing else, well just maybe a little. No one quite knew that Jade still had a small crush on Junbei and he hoped that no one ever found out either. After joining his captains side he started to yell orders to the other members of the crew with Charlotte having the most important job of talking to the spikey haired man about the modification of the ship. though Jade was most excited about Juju's job of going into town to get food, something Jade as craving a lot lately.

As the rest of the songbirds went off to do their jobs Jade, Junbei, and the stranger made their way dockside to sit on barrels. As he sat, Jade noticed that the man had began to draw their ship, the Dutchman. He couldn't quite blame the man for wanting to do so as the Dutchman was an amazingly beautiful ship. "Go ahead cap, your singing is amazing Jade said as he waited for Junbei to start singing but heard him ask the stranger what his name was. his name was Kibo Yamanaka, a strange name indeed but Jade couldnt really say anything as he didnt know his own name. As Junbei began singing and using his fruit to make the sound of pianos, Jade noticed Kibo looked very confused even looking at Jade to confirm that he was actually hearing this right. "He is a devil fruit eater, his devil fruit allows him to generate soundwaves to battle or too Jade nudged his head back towards Junbei to show him what he meant.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

As the song finished, the sparkle of the sunlight onto the dockside water, as three on looked the vessel, brought a smile to Junbei's face. Turning slightly, he'd notice Jade and Kibo watching him astonished, well, more so Kibo than Jade. "Kibo... That's an interesting name. Kibo The Artist... Got it." Junbei exclaimed, shooting a smile in the man's direction. Staring down on his sketchpad, he'd look at the current etchings of the Dutchman taken by Kibo. "Wow! Those sketches are so realistic! Your pretty good! Now I'm pumped!" Junbei said extending his hands outwards. "I live for days like these... Freedom. The ability to meet people like yourself Kibo... like Jade... and the other Songbirds. Ricky... and these moments in Galley-La so far. The bounty... it's nothing but a construct put in place by the World Government from stopping men from being free. These songs of mine... They're going to start a revolution. I want usher in a New Era Of Piracy... One where pirates aren't so concerned with civilians... like the ones in Water 7. We're we raid from the World Government... The nobles who oppress the poor... and the rich who unfair the weak. Unrealistic, ain't it?" Junbei said grinning at Kibo and Jade.

"However long it might take... that's my goal in becoming Pirate King. This sea needs legends... those who can strike fear into the heart's of oppressor's. That's what I want the Songbird's to become. A sound of the new era." Junbei concluded. "What about you Kibo? What's your dream!? Is it to be the best artist in the world? Or maybe that's too cliche!" Junbei turned away staring at the ship in the harbour once again. Leaning towards Kibo, "By the way... Sorry about Jadey... he's the touchy feely type when he gets excited, Rishi Rishi." Junbei said teasing Jade slightly. The trio would talk for hours, hoping to learn more about Kibo and vice versa, well, that was the intention.

Hours later, as the evening arrived, the Songbird's returned with tons of meat of all cuts and types. Getting scrap wood from the Galley-La members, the bonfire commenced, Junbei was now standing around it, with a cup of ale in his hand, as they grilled the meat over it's blazing flames. "Ugh... I'm not one for speeches... However, since the people of Galley-La have been so gracious enough to fix our ship at an affordable price!" Junbei said, shooting a grin at Charlotte who had brought Ricky down, several millions below their usual rate. "Damn it! That bitch is crafty!" Ricky shouted. "At those rates... Jackson going to kill me when he gets back!" Ricky said, bitting on a washcloth in frustration as tears flowed down his eyes. Charlotte simply grinned, making the 'Okay' sigh. "This feast is for them and our new friend Kibo!" Junbei shouted, howling shortly after, raising his ale to the heavens.

"Juju! Open the doors!" Junbei shouted. Opening the doors to the Galley-La's work area, tons of civilians ushered in to get a look at the Songbird's who were rumoured to be having a bonfire tonight. Walking over by the grand piano, the ghosts of the Dutchman filled the night sky. "I managed to get Juju and Jade to lift this off for me. Alright, let's get the party started! Nico, you lead!" Junbei shouted. Nico, removing the brand new violin he'd gotten in town, accompanied by an array of women. "Alright Capt!" Nico shouted. As the man's bow scuttled along the strings, Junbei began to sing. "Wait... I never agreed to opening to the public-" Ricky announced before being streamlined by the crowd of people, trying to hear the Songbirds.

"Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho
Going to deliver Binks' Sake!
Following the sea breeze! Riding on the waves!
Far across the salty depths! The merry evening sun!
The birds sing as they draw circles in the sky!
Farewell to the harbor, To my old hometown
Lets all sing out with a Don! As the ship sets sail
Waves of gold and silver dissolve to salty spray
As we all set sail to the ends of the sea
Going to deliver Binks' Sake!
We are pirates sailing through the Sea!
The waves are our pillows, The ship our roost
Flying the proud skull on our flags and our sails
Now comes a storm through the far-off sky
Now the waves are dancing, Beat upon the drums
If you lose your nerve this breath could be your last
The morning sun will rise!
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho Yo-hohoho, Yo-hohoho!"

OOC: I can't tell if you guys are on the beach or docks now so if anything doesn't make sense just ignore it and pretend like it does.

The sun was setting by the time Jasper woke up on the beach. He looked around his person, patting himself down and noticing the various items sprawled about in the dune he lay on. By his right leg was a bouquet of flowers, by his left arm a half filled bottle of ale, though the sand had crept into it while he slept and it was now spoiled. In his right hand he felt something soft and squishy, and upon raising it up to his face, found a stuffed bunny with pink fur which had been matted down by the sand and thick sea air. Scratching his head in confusion, the massive man sat up, looking at the rabbit and trying his best to remember his earlier actions. After a few minutes of nothing, Jasper gave up in confusion. Most looking in on this situation would assume the man was a drunk. They'd say he went on a bender and now couldn't remember where he was or how he had gotten there. While some of that was true, Jasper hardly ever drank alcohol and even so he had never truly been drunk, considering the massive amounts of liquor it would take to phase such a large man. In fact the half empty bottle of ale probably wasn't even his.

No, Jasper's problem was that he had two personalities inhabiting his body. While he didn't usually forget what had happened when he switched over to a personality from the other, in extreme cases it did tend to happen. Rising from the sand dune, Jasper reverted his body to magma, all except the hand carrying the stuffed bunny rabbit, and burned away the sand clinging to his clothes and hair. Turning back to normal, Jasper crunched the glass that had formed beneath him as a result of the magma coming in contact with the sand, and began walking down the beach. In the distance he could make out voices and the light of a fire only about half a mile off. Curious, he headed in that direction, with his curiosity only growing as the (what sounded like whispering) voices suddenly boomed into a loud and rambunctious song. Jasper stopped, unsure of what to do. It sounded like an awful lot of people down the beach, and Jasper was rarely good around people. Generally he was even hated. Raising the stuffed rabbit up in front of him, Jasper looked at the toy and cocked his head to the side, What do you think? Naturally the rabbit didn't answer, but Jasper simply sighed and continued his walk down the beach, mumbling something along the lines of, Fine, you're right.

Upon drawing closer, Jasper noticed a small crowd of people gathered around the fire and watched them as they sang their song. It was quite pleasant, he realized with surprise. Usually the pirates that came to Water 7 lacked any form of tone or melody. While this was a drinking song the group was singing, something pirates usually butchered and belted from their guts, this particular group seemed to be more talented than anyone else Jasper had met on the island. Not one for social cues, the massive man lumbered towards the bonfire and, as the song was wrapping up, stood within feet of the group. Staring at them, he swallowed hard and raised a single hand to shoulder height in a weak wave, Um, hello.

Kibo Yamanaka

As the teen explained the reason behind Junbei's supernatural piano playing, Kibo would make an "oh" expression. Of course this would be the work of those devil fruits. Mysterious fruits that gifted many bizarre abilities....but at the cost of one's ability to swim. Ingesting one of those cursed fruits was something that never came across Kibo's mind. Would it really be worth it? That would be a question for another day.

Kibo smiled peacefully as he continued sketching the ship, listening to the amazing tunes Junbei was able to display both vocally, and with his powers. A very fitting, and creative devil fruit ability it was. As the redhead finished, Kibo would continue on with his drawing as if nothing changed. "I say, you have quite the talent." he complimented. After being complimented on what he had so far, Kibo would chuckle lightly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Oh, it's not much, but thank you." Kibo would continue with his drawing as Junbei started to speak more, eyes focused on the sketchbook, but ears on the redhead. This man has a very laid back, and easygoing personality that's for sure. The Rev's soft smile would turn into a more straightened look as Junbei finally brought up the World Government, and bounties. Those people pretend to be out for justice, and the protection of the innocent, but instead they lie, and keep things hidden for their own gains. For their "justice."

The moment Junbei brought up starting a revolution, Kibo would stop drawing entirely, but still look down at his book, showing that he is even more focused on this man's words now than before.

A revolution? A small smirk developed on Kibo's face. It was funny yet inspiring. Kibo was also looking to start a revolution after the pain he has went through, and being saved by those people. The Revolutionary Army. True angels, and bringers of justice in the man's eyes. They are going to be the ones responsible for ushering in a new era, he thought. They are going to take down the World Government, and the Wano male is happy to be a part of it even if it is just a small role. He doesn't mind being just fodder so long as it furthers the Revolution. These Songbirds have big dreams, and so does Kibo. Both of which seem to intertwine.

"My dreams?" Kibo repeated, looking up before looking back down as if he were pondering. "No, no. Drawing is just a hobby of mine." Kibo waved off. Though, Kibo the Artist did have a nice ring to it now that he thought about it.....

"I would really just love to live in a world where nobody has to worry. No secrets....no lies...." Kibo claimed. Just a smaller version of his true dreams. He did have one more thing however that he left out, and that is to be reunited with his twin sisters. He still has faith that they are still alive. The only family he knows about that he can't confirm are dead. Kibo then glanced over to Jade, chuckling a bit after listening to Junbei's little comment. "Ah, I see. I see." he said before looking over to Jade. These two are certainly a fun bunch. A bit weird, but fun nonetheless.

Hours would go by, and Kibo would find himself at a bonfire with the rest of the Songbirds, and even Galley-La for this evening! The Rev sat on the ground by the fire, and the others with his legs folded, his own cup placed next to him as Junbei started a speech. The black haired man would snicker some at the spiky haired shipwright's discomfort of having the price "fixed." That woman must know a thing, or two about beli it seems. The man's attention was then brought back to Junbei after hearing his name being spoken alongside the beloved shipwrights. This feat...was also for him? He was flattered, but also didn't feel like he did anything to deserve this. All he has done was get into their business, and sketched that ship of theirs which at this point is already finished. Still, he couldn't help, but smile. Who would've thought that his mission would lead him to such a wonderful time?

Suddenly, Junbei would shout out, and the doors to this work area would spring open, tons of civilians making their way in! Soon the place would be packed. Kibo honestly wasn't expecting this, and neither did that spiky haired man it seems. Oh well. The more the merrier right? One of the redhead's members then brought out a violin before being accompanied by women. Soon the instrument would be played, and with that came singing that filled the entire area. This right here, it was wonderful. Simply wonderful! As Kibo looked on for a little with a warm smile, he raised his head some after getting an idea. Why not capture this moment!?

Getting up from his spot, Kibo would turn around, and walk back, maneuvering around some folks until he found himself in the perfect spot to capture the redhead, the violin player, the woman, and even enough of the others to satisfy. Taking out his sketchbook once again, Kibo would start drawing away with enthusiasm written all over his face. He even contemplated on going around to sketch anymore wonderful, or hilarious things going on here. This was something he wanted to make sure to remember.

As the song was just about finishing, Kibo would notice from the side of his eye a large figure walking on by! He was obviously new, or maybe he was here the whole time, and the artist just haven't noticed. Though it would be hard to miss someone like him. Either way, the more the merrier, he thought to himself again. After the weak greeting this stranger made, Kibo simply smiled in his direction, and went back to drawing, waiting for the majority of the others to get their hellos in before even trying to himself. Kibo isn't exactly the loudest of people, so he was sure he'd be drowned out if he tried to say anything now.

Jade listened to his captain speak to the man named Kibo. He had guessed Kibo only had ran into the crew because he saw Junbei, the most wanted man in paradise at moment, and wanted to know what he might want from the songbirds. Coming back to the physical realm Jade heard Junbei talk about the government, nobles, bounties and more. Jade never really thought about it deeply like Junbei had, actually jade hadnt thought about this something like this at all. All he knew from a young age that the marines were horrible and that he wanted to become a pirate but did he actually know why he wanted to be one besides the dreams of his father? No he didn't and it saddened him to a certain extent. "And ill be right there helping ya! Jade said with a smile as Junbei began to talk of his dreams to become pirate king, a dream that was too big for even Jade to think of having. If Jade was more honest, he had no actual dream to follow and vowed to himself that he would find one.

"Hey dont throw me out there like that! Jade said as he swung his arms at Junbei for making fun at him. After Jade had calmed his little tantrum down he, Junbei, and Kibo talked for hours about anything under the beautiful skies above them. While talking to the pair, Jade realized that Kibo fit in more than he expected and thought he really wouldnt have minded having him on the crew. if only that was his choice to make. however Junbei felt the same somewhere deep inside of him, they did think alike on a lot of things.

As the sun began to set, Juju and some of the workers came back with all the food and booze that the money Charlotte gave them could buy. As they approached some more and the food aroma Jade help his hands to his face and wiggled his body as stars filled his eyes. Food was the only thing that filled his mind as Juju and the workers made their way inside so they could start setting up the bonfire as well. After a few more hours the bonfire commenced and Jade was found munching on several plates worth of food like a glutton. He only stopped eating when Junbei had begun his speech and shortly after let in a bunch of civilians into the Galley-La's work area. He begun to laugh as Ricky began to freak at the monstrous amount of people flooded in, man was it funny. As Jade kept eating, he saw a humongous man walk in the door, he was oddly attractive and look lost. As he made his way up from his position, he saw Kibo say hello to the man who had greeted everyone. 'Well hello good man! Jade said as he would attempt to high five the new comers back.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

Immersed in the music, the merriment around the camp heightened as the Songbirds, Galley-La workers and citizens of Water 7 danced, drank and ate away to their heart's content. It was truly moments like these that the Pirate Captain lived for the most, collecting small snippets of these moments that made him want to exist in this world even more for the rush of it all. Pulling close to his Captain as he played, Nico whispered in Junbei's ears, "I found the information you wanted to know, Captain." Nico commented continuing to strum along on his violin. In the distance, the shadow of the bonfire began to cast against the sandy shores of the docking area within the Galley-La compound. Along the artificial stream on which the vessels enter into the work yard, a large figure drew closer and closer. At first, Caprice saw the figure, spitting out the ale as he rushed over to his Captain, bringing it to his attention. Now in sight, the man's red maroon trousers contrasted with the shade flames produced by the bonfire's glare, as his silver head of hair stayed slighted tucked away in the essence of the open moonlight. One of the citizen's petrified at the man's figure, strangely enough with a pink bunny in hand, the woman screamed, "Monster!". This caused all in the area to walk towards the man's direction as he waved his hand quite awkwardly towards the audience in a gesture of greetings.

Grinning, Junbei began to play a more sombre tune, it sprung into his mind as the smell of the dockside oceanic air rushed into his nostrils. To him, a man shoulder never be called a monster, regardless of how tall or unique his aesthetic might be. Turning towards the tall man, "Heya!" Junbei exclaimed with the broadest smile in the crowd. Stopping the music, Junbei got up from the piano, picking up a barrel of Sake, pouring a ceremonial glass worth, into the biggest glass. Pointing towards the bonfire, the Songbird walked the cup over to the man. "People are kind of afraid when they aren't accustomed to seeing someone of your size. Your free to the party! Food! Drinks! and Music!" Junbei exclaimed, walking back over to the piano to continue the merriment. The music continued for several hours after which, Junbei took a break to partake in the meat being grilled in the bonfire. Drooling slightly, the curried meat glistened on the bone, inviting the newcomer to sit next to him, along with the other Songbird's around the fire.

"I haven't gotten your name as yet." Junbei said, turning towards the eleven foot male. "I'm pretty rude myself, my name's Junbei Von Echo. I'm the leader of this merry band of pirates you see before you, though, I'm more of a musician." Junbei exclaimed. His attention turned slightly back towards the bonfire, reaching into pull out the plump cut of meat, coating his hand slightly in a coat of invisible Busoshoku Haki. Biting into the meat, the Junbei was throughly pleased. However, in the distance, the true leader of the Galley-La camp was about to return. With his backpack strapped over his right shoulder, the man's black dreadlocks rested on his back. As he saw the gates of the Galley-La Company opened way after hours, the man's voice echoed, waiting until he was at the entrance to scream at the top of his voice. "OI! EVERYBODY OUT!" Jackson shouted. His voice recognised throughout the island, the locals grabbed what they could and scrammed as quickly as they could. "RUN! It's BULL-MOUTH JACKSON!" the men screamed running away. Blowing steam from out of his nose, the man walked through the Galley-La company's doors, as the citizen's exited.

With the Songbirds and the workers remaining in place, Junbei turned behind him, meat in mouth to try to figure out why everyone had stopped drinking. "RICKY!" Jackson shouted again, taking off his shades. "Why is he wearing shades at night?" Nico inquired in this thoughts. Jackson was around ten feet tall of african descent, and wore very trendy clothes from his green army jacket, with the Galley-La crest on it, down to his sneakers, custom soled for comfortable stance. Scrambling away from Ricky, who was now hiding behind the workers, the spiky haired blonde's position was revealed. Standing up straight, the blonde scratched his head nervously, "A-A-A-haha... Jackson! Glad you're back from your journey. How were the ship's over at the Warlord's place?" Ricky inquired nervously. Walking towards Ricky, Jackson slammed his fist into the man's jaw, sending him flying, crashing into a pile of lumber, rending him unconscious. "Boring as usual. Same old ships." Jackson responded. "Don't knock him out and then answer the question so nonchalantly!" the other Galley-La workers announced. "Whose responsible for all this mess?" Jackson said, walking over to the bonfire and pouring himself a drink from the barrels of Sake. "I-MAM" Junbei announced, with food still wedged into his mouth.

Sipping the Sake slowly, Jackson eyed down all in attendance, zeroing in on the redhead and large silver haired man. "I never thought It'd see the day... to see the 350,000,000 dollar rookie sitting in my shipyard. Most of the pirates that come through here as of late are gutless wimps afraid to offend Kiretsu... It's pathetic. You got a lot of nerve throwing a party in a Shichibukai's turf. The people of Water 7 are his subjects. Had anything gone wrong here tonight... You'd be held responsible... His status doesn't scare you?" Jackson sad with one eye-shut, now making eye-contact with the Songbird. "Nope. I don't appreciate you hurting my shipwright honestly. After he's decided to look after the Dutchman." Junbei said, his grin fading slightly. "No fear, you've pass the first test. 'Your shipwright' that twerp belongs to Galley-La... Did you say Dutchman... as in the flying Dutchman?" Jackson begun, stopping slightly in astonishment at the vessel's appearance in the distance. "HA!" the man exclaimed in a chuckle. "You're the new owner of the Dutchman. You think my little brother Ricky can lead a project like this, your delusional." Jackson announced, certainly amused at the pirate's claim. "I'll let you into a trade secret... The only person who has the smarts and guts to lead the Dutchman project is... me." Jackson said, pointing to himself.

"Oh and why is that?" Junbei inquired grinning. "Because... I'm the one who repaired the Dutchman on Jaya... without any form of blueprints... months after Davy Jones eyes." Jackson announced. "Songbird Pirates... I refuse to fix a ship for a crew that has no Jolly Roger and is a one trick pony. I've heard of your name loud and wide Junbei... but the rest your men seem to be pushovers. My only deal for pirates... is simple. I won't work on Pirate Ship's whose overall crew doesn't make my heart beat in a 'DON'!" Jackson exclaimed banging my chest. "I refuse to work on the Dutchman, regardless of the money until three conditions are met. One, get a Jolly Roger. Two, clean up my dock, it looks like a pigsty and finally..." Jackson said drowsily, yawning before falling asleep. "And he's out." one of the workers exclaimed, sighing in relief. "Sorry that ya'll had to meet him like this. Jackson... is... pretty eccentric as is. He has clear cut rules for marines and pirates... even Revolutionaries before he works on their vessels." another of the workers filled in. "He means well... He just falls asleep at vital moments at times." Ricky announced, climbing out of the wooden rubble with blood dripping from his head. "This is the 289th time Ricky's been punched by Jackson and survived!" one of the workers exclaimed, laughing which broke the others into chuckling as well.

"Jackson used to be a pirate before he joined Galley-La. Had a real big bounty too so for pirates... He always gives them three conditions. One of them are random but the other two have never changed... The make of their Jolly Roger and finally... survive in Water 7 until the modifications are complete. We get tons of bounty hunters here... most of the guys ships we work on get caught... meaning if you can't survive... What's the point in us fixing the vessel. That's why I told your Navigator... Us fixing the ship to your adjustments is no problem with Jackson involved but he's old school, he won't start unless you have a Jolly Roger he likes. He's weird. That's why he hardly works on anyone's ship personally. For the Dutchman, he's the best we got. What he said is true Junbei... Paradise is only one half to the Grandline... Whatever your about to encounter next will be ten times harder than anything else from before." Ricky concluded. "My crew doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. They're my family... That's all that matters. Beside, I never became a pirate to be defined by anyone else rules or laws. We'll take things at our own pace. I'll accept his challenge to have a Jolly-" Junbei paused, turning over to Kibo. "Hey! Could you draw us a Jolly to be made!?" Junbei exclaimed, remembering the man's artist skills. "I have a basic idea! Rishi Rishi" Junbei shouted exhilarated.

The place was crowded, that much was for sure. Jasper stared at the various patrons as a woman suddenly screamed beside him and ran out the door. Frowning in confusion, Jasper watched her leave until she disappeared down the street and into the night. He noticed a man in the corner silently drawing flash a smile in his direction, but this simply confused the big man even more. Even after living on Water 7 for some two plus years, Jasper still wasn't used to being around humans. The fishmen made sense, they all acted relatively similarly. Humans however were wild and untrustworthy. Some might be calm and well mannered, while others were wild and unwieldy. Then again, that wasn't terribly different than himself when it came down to it. The sudden slap on Jasper's back didn't hurt in any way, most likely because it wasn't meant to, but it did startle him and instinctively he raised his fist, converting it to burning, dripping hot magma. However, noticing Jade standing there with a grin and nonchalant pose, Jasper quickly converted his hand back to normal and relaxed, smiling down at the smaller man. Noticing a flame start to form on the wooden floor from where his magma had dripped, Jasper quickly snuffed out the fire with the heel of his boot before looking back at Jade apologetically, Hello, um, sorry about that. I didn't mean to.

It was then that a new person entered Jasper's sphere of existence. This one was equally, if not more so, chipper than the one who had slapped Jasper earlier. Jasper listened to the man as he invited him in for food and drink, smiling as he warned about people being unnerved by Jasper's size, Obviously these people have never seen a giant before then. He chuckled at his own pseudo-joke, but it was unexpectedly soft and weak, unlike what most probably expected from such a beast of a man. Thank you very much. Jasper said, raising his glass to Junbei's before drinking. The liquid was cold but burned at the same time, and quickly reminded Jasper why he hated the stuff. Coughing, Jasper smiled at the auburn haired man again before carefully walking towards an empty table in the back. With his larger height, Jasper sat on the floor, leaning against a wall and placed the stuffed rabbit on the table in front of him. A waitress came around and delivered him a plate brimming with freshly cooked meat. His stomach grumbled, shaking the floorboards around him as he began inhaling the food.

Hours passed as the auburn man played music and people laughed and drank. Jasper was content for the time and he watched the other humans move about the room. Eventually the music died down as Junbei took a break from his activities and approached Jasper once more, I am Jasper. He said simply, pausing for a long moment before remembering what Mako and the others had taught him about human culture before leaving Water 7, Oh, and you are? It's very nice to meet you.

From his table in the back, Jasper watched as a group of men, one in particular crashed the party. Many of the guests left at that moment, and Jasper was unsure of what exactly he should do. The leader, if that's what he was, seemed threatening but Jasper hardly paid him any mind. He was more curious to see what the other people he had met would do. After all, they had made up the few that actually stayed in the restaurant. Taking a fist full of meat and heating it back up with his magma, Jasper chewed slowly, watching the proceedings of the meeting. When the leader fell asleep Jasper scratched his head in confusion. One moment the man had seemed large and in charge, possibly even a threat and now...he was sleeping? Humans truly are strange. He said to the stuffed rabbit.

Kibo went back to doodling in his scrapbook until he heard the screaming of that woman upon seeing the tall white haired stranger. The artist peeked back up, and watched as she ran out of the place, and into the night. Kibo found her actions to be rude since the man didn't seem to have any hostile intents, her only running off because of the man's height, and appearance. But then again, a lot of people were known to shut themselves out from believing bizarre things like giant people, or listening to rumors that are usually dead wrong. This didn't mean what she did was right, but it was honestly to be expected.

The wano artist watched as Jade along with some others made their way to the newcomer. The teen patted the guy on the back which appeared to result in a not so friendly reaction in return resulting in a clench fist. Kibo raised an eyebrow as he could've sworn he saw that very fist glow a red like color from is point of view before the man lowered his arm. Kibo sighed softly as it seems that a possible crisis was averted thankfully, but then he would tilt his head as he saw some fire dancing around by the guy's foot before he stepped on it, putting it out. Blinking his eyes a few times, Kibo looked down at the sand before looking up at the man who seemed to be distracted with the others. Did...did he see that correctly? What was all that about?

Kibo would soon be distracted from his pondering as Junbei now made his way to the white haired giant. No surprise he would be as welcoming as ever, offering the guy a drink, and making him feel right at home just as he did for everyone else, including Kibo. Things quickly returned to normal with everyone doing their own things, and the new guy relaxing in the back as food is brought to him. Times like this are really enjoyable. No signs of conflict, no trouble. Just everyone having a good time. Kibo continued to draw until he caught the attention of other people here, wanting him to do quick drawings of them which led to the man going around the area to fulfill a lot of the people's normal, or sometimes....strange drawing requests. It was fortunate he got himself another scrapbook with many blank pages, needing to be filled. He was having a good time, and so was everyone else it seems.

Then the bonfire would come to an abrupt end as a loud voice could be heard, drowning out the other noise here, and causing all of the civilians even the ones Kibo was in the middle of drawing to run out. "Bull....Mouth?" Kibo turned his head towards the entrance curiously after repeating that odd name. He would then see the one in charge of Galley-La marching in. Kibo would walk back some until he found himself leaning up against a separate table close by the one the Songbirds, and white haired guy say, placing his scrapbook onto the table as he crossed his arms, watching that Ricky guy try to squirm his way out of this situation with a curious look on his face. Then suddenly....

BAM!!!

Jackson slammed his fist straight into Ricky's jaw much to Kibo's, and probably some of the others surprise. Kibo simply raised his eyebrows as he wasn't really sure what t think on this manner. Kibo would look down at the downed Ricky for a bit before finally realizing one of the words he said before. "Warlord....." he mumbled until just remembering that this island is in fact under the control of one of the World Government's dogs. A Shichibukai...Those pirates who can just get away with shit because they work under those "devils." The artist looked down as his eyes narrowed some, thinking about the suffering he has went through due to a previous Warlord.

While still deep in thought, the others would still go on a bit with what they were talking about until Junbei called out to the day dreaming Kibo, causing him to bounce his head back up as if he were asleep. "H-huh? You...you want me to draw you a Jolly?" he questioned the sudden request. Why him? There are probably many other artists here, possibly better than himself yet he wants him to draw it!? "I mean, sure I don't mind. I actually feel honored, but..." Kibo would lift his back off of the table, standing up straight with his hands now unfolded. "Are you sure you really want to trust me with something as important as that?" he asked before walking up some. Then he wold notice Jackson on the floor sleeping, causing Kibo to rub the back of his head in confusion.

"Is....he okay?"

Jade still smiled at the eleven foot man as he turned his fist into blazing hot magma and looked down upon him, probably aiming to attack as he was startled by Jade's appearance and touching him. If the jasper had actually hit him, he would have died a painful, hot death but luckily enough he stopped just in time. "Aye, don't worry about it! Jade said cheerfully as he took another sip of his sake, for the first time in awhile the young songbird was tipsy. MONSTER! Jade heard several people yell and run as he talked too Jasper, why were people so afraid of giants? This one seemed to be so nice, besides the fact that he had almost killed Jade with a magma fist but that wasn't a big deal to him at all. The people screaming and running from Jasper must have caught the attention of Junbei, as his captain floated right over to there position and introduced himself to the giant. Jade had been a bit of a eavesdropper and lucky caught the name of the giant, Jasper is quite a nice name He thought to himself before he saw the doors of Galley-La swing open.

The door bursted open and another man that dwarfed Jade appeared, screaming and telling everyone to get out. Jade thought that by the way the people actually ran from this "Bull-mouth Jackson" that he was some sort of boss here and he was not too be played with. Jade simply watched the man as he called out for the shipwright Ricky, Ohhh, things are about to get a little funny Jade said as he smiled to himself and ate some of the meat he had taken off someone's plate as they left. When Ricky approached Jackson he managed to get a few words in before being knocked out cold, sending shock and confusion to everyone face, however Jade just chuckled to himself a little. Man I knew this would be funny! Jade said to himself more and he watched his captain and the ten foot tall man get into a conversation. "Ehh? Me? A pushover? never! Jade said as he listened to the conversation, he knew that Junbei was world known but just because they weren't didn't mean they where weak!

Jade put his head in his hands to finish listening to the conversation of Junbei's. it seemed that they all had forgotten that water 7 was ruled by a shichibuki, someone who was basically a marine dog who got to do whatever they wanted. If they were supported by the world government and got to do whatever they wanted, would that be so bad? Jade had to look more into this Shichibuki thing after all. Just as Jackson was getting to the good part of the conversation, he fell right to sleep. "is he ok? Jade said as he got up from his seat too get near him, checking to make sure he is okay. Man these people sure were weird as hell, but Jade liked it a lot. "yes of course! I know you'll do great with making our jolly roger! Jade said in a tipsy glee as he brung Kibo in for a hug. He was sure that the new friend of the songbirds would do great with drawing the Jolly Roger. After hugging he turned to Jasper who was eating a clump of meat "so where are you from, Mr.giant? He said as he smiled again.

"We're all caged song birds, waiting for someone to hear our sound"

As smile plastered across the face of Junbei's face as the shipwright just fell asleep out of no-where. "Rishi Rishi Rishi" Junbei exclaimed, laughing repeatedly before his next sentence. "Challenge Accepted." Junbei said, simply grinning. "EH!" Caprice exclaimed. "Look... Junbei... I get that you want the Dutchman upgraded right and true, we do need a Jolly but the main thing to focus on is surviving Water 7. We have alot of attention on our heads, if we just lay low until the end-" Caprice stated, his sentence interrupted by Junbei's expression set to a pout. "Bleh. What's the fun in that!? I say we throw a concert at the end of the month! To celebrate the end of the modifications and our depart from Water 7. Like I said, we still owe a friend a favour." Junbei said grinning. "With that being said..." Junbe trailed off, walking around picking up the scraps of garbage and empty bottles into a pile, removing his tonfa's to create a dustnado to move all of the junk into one pile. "Mhm... Now how do we get rid of it all... We could burn it with Jadey's flames but would it be hot enough." Junbei began to ponder as the other Songbird's buzzed around the camp cleaning up.

"You don't have to worry about cleaning up Kibo! Just working on sketching the Jolly! I think we can find someone in town to paint it for us!" Junbei exclaimed. "Hehe..." one of the Galley-La workers emerged from the pack smiling broadly. "I'm one of the best Jolly makers in town, names Domino Jack for 100 Million-" the man stated, walking towards Junbei, who completely ignored him. "Right. We'll find someone-" Junbei stated, only to be latched onto by Jack, with tears in his eyes. "Why did you ignore me!?" Jack exclaimed. "Rishi Rishi... Your name is Domino Jack... You don't sound like a Jolly Maker from your name. It's not edgy enough." Junbei replied, with an unimpressed look on his face. "Please! I really am the best! Back me up guys!" Jack shouted, turning towards the other Galley-La workers. Whistling, the workers avoided eye-contact, assisting the Songbird's in the cleanup. Sulking in a corner, Jack was comforted by the pat of Juju's hand on his back. "Hoho... It's alright kid. Junbei's just messing with you." Juju stated cheerfully. Sticking out his tongue, the Songbird turned towards Jack, "I'd be glad if you could paint Kibo's vision!" Junbei exclaimed grinning. "As for the price.." Junbei said, winking at Charlotte. "Now then Mr.Jack... How about we step this way?" Charlotte inquired, with a slight glare in her eye.

Grabbing the remainder of the ale and Sake, Junbei walked over to the giant of a man, watching his silver hair danced in the breeze of wind that now flushed through the Galley-La Yard. Pouring ale into his cup, Junbei filled up his own and plopped onto the ground, watching as the man's hand seemingly seared the meat to perfectly cooked conditions almost instantly. "That's a pretty interesting skill you got their Jasper. Aiming to be a chef would be easy for you!" Junbei stated chuckling. "However, to be simply passed out in the Galley-La's Yard in the middle of nowhere, your a pretty interesting guy!" Junbei exclaimed, sipping his ale.

Jasper continued watching the events play out as Junbei spoke with various strangers and crew members, he himself continued wolfing down meat like it was going out of style. It was then that a familiar face plopped down in the seat near Jasper. It was the man from before, who had slapped him on the back unexpectedly in greeting. Jasper looked down at himself and then back at the man after he had called him a giant, I'm no giant. I'm a man. A human, just like you. Jasper said, pointing at Jade before searing some more meat in his hands, albeit burning it yet again. This magma was good for many things, but properly cooking food, not so much. I'm from... Jasper trailed off, thinking back to the time before Mako and his fishman family, ...the sea mostly. I've been on this island for a few years now, I think. Jasper chewed on some more food before remembering the proper way to converse, And you? Where are you from? My name is Jasper. He said, putting out a large hand to shake while attempting to fit in all of the pleasantries he had been taught or observed during his time on Water 7. As a result it came out awkward in speech and was clearly evident this man wasn't used to being around people.

As Jasper spoke with Jade, Junbei finished speaking with the others and cleaning up some garbage, joining them at the table. With his glass refilled, Jasper said, Thank you. with a nod, but didn't touch the drink. It's no skill, more of a curse. I can't even cook food, just burn it. Jasper said sadly as his hand reverted into oozing magma, causing the meat in his hand to erupt in flames and quickly turn to soot and ash. Throwing the pile of ash behind his shoulder, Jasper let it scatter in the wind. I used to swim with fishmen, but then this happened, Jasper said, referencing his magma creating abilities, and they had to leave me here to learn how to live as a...normal human. Jasper said with a sigh. He could feel his darker side beginning to creep up into him with all this talk of sadness and frustration at his predicament. Deciding to redirect this, Jasper continued, It hasn't been all bad though. People don't usually bother me when they find out I can melt steel beams by accident or sneeze and blow a hole through a building. Jasper shrugged as he spoke, as if this was simply normal and an everyday thing that could happen to anyone.

Kibo continued to look down at the sleeping Jackson for a bit, but it wasn't out of concern for his well being anymore. He was lost in thought, still surprised that he was asked out of all people to make this crew's Jolly Roger. Normally when Kibo sketches things it is just out of boredom, or if he finds something that has taken his interest, and he wants to draw it like he did with the Songbird's ship. But to have someone come to him wanting the draw something as important as a Jolly Roger? It is something Kibo was definitely not expecting. He is suppose to be keeping an eye on these people....spying on them, but instead he has gotten a bit close to them in a span of a day?

There was a lot running through Kibo's mind at this moment.

Suddenly, the artist was pulled into a hug by the inebriated Jade who believed in Kibo's drawing skills breaking the Rev out of his daze as he blinked a few times in confusion. "I think this one had one too many." the man claimed chuckling to himself some as Jade finally let go, and made his way to the white haired man who turned out to also have remained here. After taking a brief look over there, Kibo started to look around, and noticed that everyone else was starting to clean up, Junbei using some amazing wind technique with his Tonfa to get some trash together. The artist was about to pitch in, stepping over Jackson's body to not disturb him until the red haired pirate captain spoke up, saying that he shouldn't worry about this, and focus on the sketching.

"I can't just leave you all to do the wo-" Kibo made his way to Junbei, but before he could finish, the Rev was interrupted by this Domino Jack person, claiming he could paint the Jolly once it's finished. Kibo simply looked at him before looking over to Junbei who clearly ignored that man at first which led to the poor Jack clinging onto the redhead, Kibo once again looking at Jack. Kibo just stood there silently, watching the silly conversation go down, a sheepish smile developing on his face as he wasn't too sure what to do in this situation. With all that finally cleared up, Jack, and Charlotte went to go talk business, and if what happened with that spiky haired guy is anything to go by....it might not end well for that painter, the thought of that causing Kibo to chuckle a bit nervously until he realized something.

"Wait....my vision?" Kibo said to himself, his expression a bit surprised. Clearly Junbei wasn't referring to the artist making this Jolly Roger from scratch...right!? He has only just met these people, he has no idea what would fit this crew in terms of a Jolly Roger. Kibo was about to make his way to Junbei, Jade, and the white haired stranger to clear this up, but would stop as he noticed the white haired male's fist....turning to magma. A devil fruit user as well no doubt. So far, Kibo has met two users, Junbei, and now this man. Pretty powerful ones at that. Kibo would have to make sure to keep his eyes on this man as well with such a powerful, and dangerous power.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but...." Kibo said as he stood by the table with those three. "Can you please elaborate on what you meant by....my vision, Junbei?" he wanted that cleared up. Perhaps Junbei meant vision as in just drawing it as he tells him the specifics on what he wanted? Yeah, that's it! .....Hopefully.

"Also I don't believe I introduced myself." Kibo said looking over to the magma user. He placed a hand on his own chest, and bowed his upper body a bit before saying, "My name is Kibo. It is always nice to meet new people." with a small welcoming smile, meaning those words.

"Hmmm... vision."
Junbei said, scarfing down the remainder of his meat off the slightly charred bone. Swallowing, the Songbird plopped onto the floor, patting his hand on his stomach as a gesture to being full. "I just want a bird's face! Like! Something that showcases our crews freedom. However, if it isn't a jolly roger, it's not a pirate crew so, keep that in mind." Junbei concluded, picking his teeth. "My name's Junbei Von Echo! I'm just a musician from the South Blue who ended up as a pirate basically." Junbei said peering over at the giant of a man charring his meat. Rolling a few inches over to avoid the man's dripping magma, "That's a pretty interesting trait you got there. I can pretty much do that too but my hand disappears." Junbei exclaimed, demonstrating by turning his hand into nothingness. "Hoho... What an interesting bunch." Juju stated, sipping Sake from his cup. "Jasper. Can I ask you a question... Fishmen... What exactly is a fishman? I've never encountered one before." Junbei said, easy dropping into his quick exchange with Jade. As the night progressed, the Songbird's all sat talking about their dreams and hopes, others sat eating food from the banquet quietly but night came to a gleeful conclusion.

Exit.
