1 Dusken Skullblatter on Wed Nov 23, 2016 7:14 pm

Equipment Name: Dusk Skullblatter
Equipment Type: Shield
Strength Req.: 3
Equipment Description:
Spoiler:
Dusken Skullblatter is a 3 Foot long tower shield, and 1.5 feet long wide. It's curved with two leather straps on the inside of the slight concave meant for equipping the shield. It's design is a 1.5 inch sandwich consisting of two titanium metal sheets sandwiching a layer of seastone in the middle. .4 inches of tianium - .2 inches of seastone- .9 inches of titanium on the outer most layer. It's a rather dreary looking shield which doesn't catch light even in the sunniest of days. It's got a dark luster which seems to reject light, coupled with its jagged design and skull weaved seamlessly into the face of the shield.

Can only be broken by three Tier 5 skills or one tier 6 skill Or equivalent to the targets damage chart being used.

Need a chart of what can be blocked before the shield actually suffers durability damage or get broken.

That depends on whether the person can actually break titanium with their attack. I can't actually say that it can withstand a Tier 2-3-4 attack because everyone's damage charts are different. My character can break seastone with a tier 2 skill because of the bonus it has, my occupation bonus, and strength. Giving me tier 5 material destruction.

So when you ask me what it can withstand, that depends on whether someone can break titanium, which I'm assuming is the equivalent to seastone because of price in the equipment shop. All items break after 3 attacks that can partially destroy or are instantly shattered if the attack is strong enough to do so.

Tier 1:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed -
Lightly Damaged - Iron
Tier 2:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Iron
Lightly Damaged - Steel
Tier 3:
Completely Destroyed - Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials
Partially Destroyed - Steel
Lightly Damaged - N/A
Tier 4:
Completely Destroyed - Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed -
Lightly Damaged - Seastone
Tier 5:
Completely Destroyed - Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Seastone
Lightly Damaged - Diamond
Tier 6:
Completely Destroyed - Seastone, Steel, Iron, Wood, Stone, and similar materials.
Partially Destroyed - Diamond
Lightly Damaged - N/A

so in your case it takes 3 T5 moves and 1 T6 move to even dent the thing or equivalent damage equal to what their chart is. Equipment falls under normal damage charts unless it's upgraded

bacon's own chart wrote:Tier 1:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, furniture, and similar materials
Partially Destroyed - iron
Lightly Damaged - steel
Tier 2:
Completely Destroyed - iron, wood, and similar materials
Partially Destroyed -Steel
Lightly Damaged - N/A
Tier 3:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Iron, Steel and similar materials
Partially Destroyed -
Lightly Damaged - Sea stone
Tier 4:
Completely Destroyed - Wood, Iron, Steel and similar materials
Partially Destroyed - Sea stone
Lightly Damaged - N/A
Tier 5:
Completely Destroyed - Sea stone, wood, Steel, and other similar material
Partially Destroyed - N/A
Lightly Damaged -Diamond
Tier 6:
Completely Destroyed - Sea stone, wood, Steel, and other similar material
Partially Destroyed - Diamond
Lightly Damaged - N/A

Everyone's chart is different sturm. I can break seastone with 3 attacks that do tier 4 damage or 1 tier 5 damage skill.

You are missing what I am saying I get that. But your shield falls under a standardized chart. Like my armor for my cyborg body is a base damage chart regardless of what others can do

You do realize not everyone's chart is the same? Some people can't break diamond, others can. If you're telling me that my shield ignores a strength user's damage chart and can only be broken by tier 5 and 6 attacks, I'll gladly abuse that. But I can't in good conscience do that because poncho has gone on record saying not everyone's chart is the same. We all have different levels of destructive ability and by saying I just can ignore anything under tier 5 isn't right.

Have you read the equipment system?

We have Material Destruction list with our Skillsets and given equipment is usually made out of the materials on this list or likened to them, equipment breaking and getting damaged is a topic that should be covered.

Simply put a piece of equipment can withstand three attacks from a strike that'd normally "Completely Destroy" the material the equipment is made from. This third strike breaks the equipment and allows the attack in question to continue forth. If the weapon is met with a force that can completely destroy a material more durable than the piece of equipment in question, then the equipment breaks, no questions asked.

Equipment breaking doesn't result in a loss of its curse or it's Devil Fruit if it has ingested one, but it does make a piece of equipment lose 50% of it's Experience.

What part of I know everyone's chart is the not same. Are you just trying to pick a fight or argue over nothing? I am saying fucking list that it breaks in 3 strikes I even fucking said it if you actually read the initial damn reply.

so in your case it takes 3 T5 moves and 1 T6 move to even dent the thing or equivalent damage equal to what their chart is. Equipment falls under normal damage charts unless it's upgrade

So lists it fucking takes 3 equivalent of a T6 (according to a standard damage chart) whatever damage on the chart to dent or break the shield.(that the character is using) It is not that complicated.

I'm just trying to make sure it's done correctly. Now it fucking says can't be broken by anything except three tier 5 attacks or one tier 6.

'Or equivalent to the targets damage chart being used' so if they can break a seastone at fucking t4 they will need 3 strikes or 1 strike above

you forgot that little addition I put there
