The pale crescent moon loomed over Loguetown, like the sickle of some dark god. It shone with a sinister radiance that illuminated the streets. Even through the thick fog that hugged every inch of the surface. Tonight was an odd night, indeed. Vicktur had visited Loguetown several times in the past, and never had he seen it in such a dreaery state. It was like something out of a horror movie or a tasteless "scary" piece of literature. No doubt only some hack of a writer would create a setting such as this. But its not like Vicktur's life was just a story, right? The twelve foot six inch man sat on the roof of some abandoned building. Far off in the outskirts of the infamous town. He wasnt quite sure why he decided to stay out so late. He was restless and wasnt sure of the cause. Little did he know, destiny had a funny way of infolding events. If you believe in such things. Vicktur stared up at the moon, the crescent shape reflecting off his eye like a mirror, and scratched at his chin deep in thought. The cries of the owls and howls of the wolves accentuated the scene very nicely.

It wasnt long before he heard a slight commotion below him. Leaning over the side of the building, he caught sight of two Marines carrying a rug. But this was no ordinary rug. It appeared, to Vicktur, to have been wrapped around a corpse. The duo, two women to be exact, hauled it down the foggy moonlit streets towards the cemetery. One of them had two shovels tied to her back, while the other had a sword on her hip. Damn, this bastard stinks. How did we get stuck with this job? I should be at home with my boyfriend right now. Instead, i'm carrying a rotting stinking corpse the one with the shovels seemed bitter. She was transporting a dead body after all. So Vicktur could sympathize with that particular point. Relax. All we have to do is dump this bastard in a shallow ditch. Then you can go and get rammed by Prince Charming. the one with the sword joked. She was definitely the more lackadaisical of the two. Vicktur listened in to their witty banter until they turned the corner and disappeared from sight.

He weighed his options carefully. Stay here and loaf around until he passed out? Or hunt down those Marines and end their lives? They were both good options. But, being who he is, he chose the latter. Why let a +2 to his body count get away due to ill timed laziness? He followed them to the best of his ability. Hopping between rooftops and occasionally swinging on randomly hung ropes. Why were the ropes there? Plot maybe? He eventually made a stop on top of a smaller house parallel to the graveyard. But instead of just engaging with them immediately, he decided to wait. Letting them tire themselves out digging the hole would serve him well. Besides, this was one of the shittiest districts in the town. Far from HQ and reinforcements. He had nothing to worry about or rush into. Though, it did raise a suspicion inside of him. Why did they bother to bring this particular corpse way the fuck out here? And why so covertly? A horse and carriage would have saved them a shitload of time and effort. But they were tasked with carrying it by hand through the streets. Hmmmm.... he sat crosslegged and watched them begin to dig.

If the night was any spookier than it would be out of a horror novel, but not the good kind more like the trashy grocery store kind. It was strange, though, for such an honorable town as Logue, a place like this existing on the island made the people of the town seem wasteful. Wouldn't they control the entire island, perhaps the fog kept them away, it did seem insufferable and impossible to control. Such a natural force, what if one could control it, Yomi would note this down mentally, such a force of nature might prove... useful later on, perhaps as a biological weapon to be used against those who swore allegiance to a flawed government. Though, could she really say that the Revolution was the answer? Yomi didn't care, they paid her to do her work and didn't question where the funds went, and that's all that she needed.

While she hadn't really found much interest in the town proper, Yomi had followed a couple of marines out of the town, they thought they had been secretive, but they were sloppy. Exposing just how poor their training really was, to carry a body out to the middle of nowhere that was suspicious to those who were an onlooker. Perhaps Yomi was just being far too observant of those wearing the white and blue uniform, but really they sort of carried it through the street and were shouting complaints all the way. If Yomi didn't take advantage of following them, then she wouldn't be much of an "agent" now would she? Such a shame, though, these girls seemed sweet enough, if only a little foolish. Why would she say they are foolish aside from what had been previously observed, well the fact that they missed the giant of a man on top of a roof. She didn't care if he was sort of laying on it, the moon was shining on him, these girls clearly weren't paying attention at all.

Following them, as she observed the man hop from rooftop to rooftop, she had a guess who it was, only one guy would just randomly be at the edge of town, well okay several people would be like that, but she actually knew someone who preferred to not be in the limelight as much, or so she assumed from her few meetings with him. it was Vicktur, a fellow agent, though, she didn't care about that part she only cared if he could get the job done and didn't limit her own progress. So far he could do both, which meant he was in neutral standing with her. Regardless she followed the ladies until they arrived at their destination and began to dig.

She could make a joke about how this digging was symbolic of their graves since Vicktor pretty much killed every marine that he saw. What happened next, however, was different than what she expected, shifting underneath her hooded cloak, a glint flickered within her eyes, the body bag started to move, the girls who were digging the grave didn't seem to notice it underneath their complaining. As the corpse pushed rug off of its body, it began to groan slightly and moved towards the two. Now Yomi figured it was just the person going for revenge, but what kind of person then rips out the jugular of their target and began to feast on them? Probably some loser named Mr. House who wanted to make a rip of another ability, or a special kind of person. Either way, yomi was very interested, even more so when the other girl remaining stabbed the body straight in the chest and it didn't stop moving instead it lunged at her and started to eat her face. This wasn't just a person, this was some form of manipulation of genetics, and now Yomi was very excited, not to save the girls they deserved to die, but rather what kind of corpse that was.

Hopping up to the roof top where Vicktor was, since she assumed he would just wait around and watch the show, she spoke towards him.

"If you could be so kind as to recover that corpse without completely breaking it, I would appreciate studying it, the revolution, through me, could learn something new, perhaps a biological weapon? We shall see."

Well, this was an interesting turn of events. As Vicktur watched the two dames dig a hole to bury a corpse, he could see movement beneath the rug. To be honest, he had no idea what he was seeing. Or maybe he just didnt want to believe it. The dead were supposed to stay dead, right? He leaned forward to try and get a better look at the situation unravelling before him. What he saw would change his understanding of life and death forever. As the women continued to dig the grave, the dead body rose from the rug and lumbered its way towards the couple. The living cadaver started its assualt by ripping out the throat of the first woman, before promptly feasting down on it. Vicktur grimaced at the sight, almost recoiling in disgusted. That had to be the most revolting thing he had ever seen! But it didnt stop there. After enjoying the tasty trachea of one of them, he turned to the next and sank his teeth into her. Before promptly ripping out a large chunk of her flesh. Vicktur was so on the edge of his seat that he didnt notice Yomi approaching him from behind.

When she spoke he nearly jumped out of his skin. For fucksake! Dont sneak up on me like that! he regained his composure before continuing. I suppose I could. The bastard did take my kills. Vicktur jumped down from the low-level roof and landed on his feet. After briefly fixing his tye Vicktur crossed the road into the graveyard. The zombie chowed down on his human-happy meal as Vicktur approached. It was equal parts disgusting and fascinating watching it eat like there was no tomorrow. When he got within 5 meters of the scene he let out a sharp whistle. The zombie halted its feast and turned towards a more fresh sack of flesh. Thaaats it. I'm right here you kill stealing punk. Vicktur slowly unsheathed his blade and waited for the zombie to pounce. Something unexpected happened, however. From behind the male zombie, he saw one of the women rise up. Her arms and legs were chewed open. And even her belly had been torn asunder for all the tasty bits inside. Great, now he was dealing with two of them.

He almost jumped out of his skin, that was slightly amusing. To see one so tall flinch so fast, she never got tired of it, maybe that was why Yomi didn't inform him of her presence and instead let the man get a bit spooked, besides a good jump start before combat is never a bad thing. He was a good mission partner, though, threw himself into the limelight of almost any fight, he just didn't seem to care. She couldn't say he was a brute, rather he was very earnest in his desire to exact revenge on the marines, but for what reason she did not know. To each his own she supposed, maybe in due time she would find out, if she still cared enough to ask when that time came. In this moment Yomi had to figure out what exactly it was that she wanted to do. Vicktur was providing a great distraction right now, which meant she could try and get closer or figure out other angles, but really all she wanted to do was study this thing. How could a corpse come back to life? Yomi had seen a lot of stuff before, horrifying stuff, but this was new to her. She hadn't seen the dead come back to life, but boy did she wish deep down that there was a way to do that, maybe that was why she was so interested in this apparent corpse tearing the two marines to shreds.

Actually, she didn't know that it was a corpse at first, it was a bit too dark to tell, but the fact that the other marine came back after getting bitten, or at least could stand and try to fight, that proved her little theory. Was this the cause of one of those devil fruits? She shuddered to think so, that was would ruin all of the fun of it if it was just one of those fruits, as it meant that she couldn't really replicate it, and all of this would just be a waste of time. Looking down as she crossed her arms, Yomi began to ponder about the two living dead as it were, did they have a weakness? Obviously, their bodies could function regardless of their condition, and since they were missing different parts of the body that seemed to leave her with only a few other ideas. What if the body was being animated by the head, or the heart, they both seemed to still have that, only one way to tell.

"Vicktor if you could cut off one of their heads I have an idea about them, perhaps it is one of their organs that is powering them, if not then we might sadly just be dealing with a fruit user. How utterly boring if we are, I wish to try and replicate whatever is happening to them in the future. "

The two zombies seemed to halt at the sight of him. Instead of bum-rushing him to chow down, they stood and stared. Their pupil-less eyes hungrily stared into his soul. Or atleast it seemed that way. They followed his every move with a singular concentration, not even recognizing each other. From the rooftop Yomi continued to give Vicktur instructions. But the new ones seemed to, somewhat, contradict the old ones. This time she wanted him to remove one of their heads. Even though she told him not too mess them up too bad. Women! Vicktur wasnt sure if they wven knew what they really wanted. But then, does anyone. He raised his arm and lazily waved it, signifying that he had heard her request. Cutting the head off of a shambling corpse shouldnt be too hard. While one of the zombies was apparently strong and whole, the Ex-Marine was literally falling apart. No doubt due to being a chew toy only moments before. Vicktur stuck his blade into the soil and waited for the dead duo to make their move. It was strange how the zombies acted. All the zombie movies he had seen told him theyd go apeshit the second they saw him.

The first to act was the woman. After a few ling moments of scoping him out, she advanced on Vicktur at break neck pace. When she reached close enough he planted his foot in her face. She went tumbling backwards and knocked down the other zombie as well. Are you sure these results are even worth replicating? the zombies were slow, stupid, and rancid. Having a bunch of Revolutionaries running around like this could hardly be much help. But what the hell did he know? He was just the muscle in this situation. Oh well, you're the smart one he said as he yanked the blade from the moist soil beneath his feet. Really, all this cemetery business was ruining his nice shoes. The female zombie dripped her bloody insides over a couple of graves thst were buried too close together. If Vicktur cared enough he'd be worried about that. She charged him again, mouth wide open to take a tasty fleshy bite. Instead all she got was cold hard metal slicing her at her temple. The top of her head came spinning off like a dradel, exposing her pretty pink brain. Her body fell to the floor, even more lifeless than before, and twitched ever so slightly but once. The male kept his distance because reasons and plot.....stuff like that.

"Well, I wouldn't call myself the smart one, you aren't exactly dumb."

It was the closest you would get in terms of a compliment from her, and it was true, Vicktor may be the brute in this situation, but he was far from the dumbest man in the world, in fact, he was smart to not question her right now since she would probably answer all in due time anyway. They were "allies" so that meant that she wouldn't go out of her way to hide things from him that would benefit 'their" cause, but she would keep other things hidden from him, like her mentality behind it or her overall goal.

None of that mattered, though, the marine girl had fallen once again, and this time, she wasn't getting back up. That was interesting but she was disappointed that he didn't cut her head off, but rather cut it in half. She supposed he meant well, though, and it did prove one theory so she would let it slide for now. Still, she wished to figure out if the bodies could function without their head just to make sure that her idea that it was the brain was correct. Jumping down Yomi dashed up towards where Vicktor, and with a nudge flipped the now half eaten corpse over. Grabbing the pistol from her waist Yomi looked up towards the other zombie that was just standing there and fired upon it, first hitting the left leg, only to watch it recoil backwards but then still stand up.

"Interesting."

Firing at the right leg she noticed the same thing, then the left arm and the right arm, all of them functioned correctly more of less and kept moving, though the zombie seemed dead in its track for whatever reason. It didn't matter, it was an interesting little find. Noting that she had fired four shot, Yomi guess she only had a couple left, so instead of wasting them trying to take off the neck she would speak towards Vicktor.

"Alright, just slice the head from the neck and I'll let you know what I am suspecting if it proves to be accurate, then we can try and track down the source if at all possible."

Vicktur was a bit shocked at her response. She never told him he was dumb before, but then she never said he was smart either. This was probably the only time she had ever given him something resembling a compliment. He wasnt sure how to take it. So he just shrugged it off and moved on with his life. He watched keenly as the walking corpse just stood there, swaying in the shadows, and stared at him with piercing eyes. He had to admit, this was pretty creepy. He would prefer if the zombie just charged at him and tried to bite him. But instead it just watched him. What the hell was it waiting for? Yomi dropped off the roof and made her way over to he and the zombie. Leaning down the woman picked up the dead marines gun and pointed it at the living dead. She fired one shot into its left leg, but the corpse seemed unfazed. Vicktur rested his blade on his shoulder and observed her actions. Again she fired on the zombie and hit its right leg this time. Indeed, this was pretty interesting. Two more shots rang out in the graveyard, hitting its arms from left to right. But, again, no apparent reaction.

Yomi finished her little experiment and asked Vicktur to finish the zombie off. But to cut its head off this time. He wasnt a genius but didnt he basically just do that? Maybe by the neck was more important than he thought. He waltzed forward with a bit of laziness to his step. To be honest this zombie was a total bore. With a single stroke her decapitated the pile of decaying flesh. Its head soared upwards for the purpose of a cool mental image. Then Vicktur cut it down the middle as it descended to the earth. The vertical cut caused the two halves to hit the ground a few inches away from each other. Well, thats all she wrote I guess. he slid his blade back into its sheathe. Now as far as the source goes where should we check? Maybe these dead blue-and-whites might have a few clues on them. but before he could begin rummaging through their pockets he saw something moving by Yomi's feet. What the hell is that? a hand sprung up from the dirt and grabbed her ankle. Then, all around the cemetery, zombies began to crawl out of their graves. Leading to an exasperated sigh from Vicktur. Great, more putrid flesh to cut down to size.

As the blade sliced off the zombies head, Yomi observed the body fall body and cease to move, while the head still tried to bite outwards towards anything in reach. So it was the brain for sure now, because before he cut the head in half and the corpse stopped, now he cut the head off and it still functioned. Fascinating, truly. Yomi could now synthesize that these monsters were vulnerable to their brain being destroyed, which meant that their grey matter probably contained the source of whatever was happening to their bodies, which was perfect, now hopefully that head wouldn't be crushed so she could perform a few experiments on it, if not then well, she was sure that some blood samples for DNA and other results would work out in the end, they just wouldn't prove to be as effective as an intact sample.

"That is all she wrote, very interesting though I believe I know now what these things are. I believe that---"

Suddenly a zombie hand grabbed her ankle and attempted to drag her down, though naturally there was a bunch of dirt in between the corpse and her still, so it was more of a shock than an actual pull. Unnerving Yomi a bit she pointed the pistol towards the zombie's hand, not the actual finger part as that wouldn't do any good, but the wrist. Blasting it out with a shot, Yomi realized that shooting might have drawn more of them out, which meant she had another aspect to test. Sadly she only had one shot remaining, she knew the other marine had a sword but would she too rise from the dead? Didn't seem like it, but you never knew with these types of weird infections, it might spring up at any point. Yomi had to risk it, and dashing around Vicktor she would head towards the other dead marine, and snatched the sword from the body, and not a moment too soon as the bodies began to rise from their graves. Were these the graves of the mass conflict that had previously broken out here? If so then this was clearly the work of someone insidious. While Yomi couldn't help but admire their methods, from a scientific point of view, she also viewed it as despicable on her own principal.

Rushing back to Vicktor she held the sword like a complete amateur, but then again she was, she knew she could stab with it but that was about it. In reality, the only thing she had going for her was her knowledge of anatomy and these creatures weakness of their brain, otherwise, she would probably be outclassed if they all pushed her at once.

"I'd say we let them hit the town but then people who aren't involved in whatever is going on would be affected, and it won't further our goals if all of the people are just killed and turned into these... things. As much I would say retreating is a good option, we can't just let them leave, how many can you take comfortably, so I know what to strike."

Yomi spat out those thoughts fairly fast, not commercial fast but a really good pace as to prevent there being too much wait time between the zombies rising from their graves. Thankfully just as she finished they began to crawl out of the dirt, their corpses shambling and broken, it looked like a mix of all the different factions and civilians, there wasn't any descrimination in this ploy, everything was up for grabs.

Yomi rushed over the the dead Marine to pick up her sword. Watching her clumsily hold the weapon was quite amusing, even causing a wide grin to stretch across his face. He assumed the gun she had been using ran out of ammo, or atleast had very little of it remaining. Yomi spit out a plan in no time flat, obviously feeling pressed for time. Vicktur wasnt so rushed due to not feeling that he was in much danger. The zombies were slow and stupid. And a single swing of his blade could end them in the blink of an eye. Along with the massive amount of reach he had, he bet he could decapiate four or five of them at the same time. Hmmm he stroked his chin and observed her stance. The zombies were all around them and closing in at a steady pace. You're not gonna kill anything holding it like that. he placed a hand over hers and adjusted her grip. At the same time he used his feet to slide her into a beginners sword stance. He was awfully relaxed for a man being set upon by an undead horde.

There, that should serve well for the moment. Remember not to over extend, youll lose power in your swing. the zombies drew closer and closer. Just handle the stragglers or anything that might take me by surprise. with that he unsheathed both hjs swords just in time to confront the first zombie to reach them. It opened its maw to try and bite him but he quickly cut the top of its head off, leaving just the lower jaw attatched. With a quickly follow uo stab he forced his blade through the skull on the zombie behind the one he just felled. The two corpses fell limp into the mud as Vicktur yanked his sword from the brain of the second. Rushing towards a group of four or so, all bunched together, he threw both arms back then forward. The blades form a duo of giant arcs at his side before collapsing towards his targets. All four heads were liberated from their bodies and hit the floor only seconds before their bodies followed suit. Stepping over the headless remains of his victims Vicktur readied himself. This was definitely the most fun he had since he got here.

"Sorry, I'm more proficient with a scalpel than any kind of real melee weapon."

Half truth, Yomi could smack someone with her fist, but to properly hold a weapon she lacked the touch. her weapons were a bit more, indirect in nature. She used science rather than steel, but in this case, she couldn't just punch them, she had to hit them with a sword otherwise, they might get a nibble out of her, and she had worked hard to maintain her figure. Really she just didn't want to see herself become a zombie that would ruin all chances she had to fulfill her dreams, no matter how twisted they might end up being. Pick up the stragglers, though, what stragglers Vicktor wiped the floor with all of them, so much so that she wondered why she even bothered to pick up this weapon. Sure there were a lot of them, and more and more kept rising from their graves, but really these zombies were fodder for Vicktor to deal with right, right!? At least they weren't coordinated or else this might get bad.

It was then that Yomi regretted everything she had ever thought tonight, as the zombies shambled forward, they started to perform something a little out of the ordinary, they started to dance. It was the strangest dance too, and she wasn't very thrilled by it. That was it, someone was controlling these things, but was it a fruit user or was it another zombie, or perhaps it was the virus? Yomi hoped it wasn't the virus, if it was then she for sure couldn't become one, she didn't wish to dance something so horrid. Forget all the rotting flesh parts, the fact of having to do a dance against your will and one so weird, that was the last straw really.

"I really hope these corpses haven't become someone's joke or the virus used to make them was created with this horrid dance in mind. Now we certainly have to kill all of them, if just out of principal."

Vicktur was on a roll! Nine bodies since they first started, but there was no end in sight. With each zombie he felled another one took its place. If he were a more pessimistic person he'd be very worried right now. He wasnt even close to getting tired, though. Two zombies approached him from his flank. Possibly expecting to catch him off guard. It didnt work. He stabbed his blades to his sides, effortlessly piercing through their rotting skulls. He then cleaved forward, cutting through their heads, and decapitated another pair of zombies inftont of him. It was only now that he noticed all the bloid that had accumulated on him. He only allowed the foul stench to occupy his thoughts for a moment. Bigger issues were at hand at the moment. Luckily he had bought himself some time between the waves of undead. He stabbed his blades into the ground and began to remove his cloak. It was foolish of him not to make it off earlier. Made of the finest silk, the piece was hardly something you wore while battle the living dead. Not wanting to waste more time than needed he sinply tossed it onto a gravestone for safe keeping.

No big deal. he said as he removed his blades from the soil. It doesnt seem like their bothering with you, anyways. which was both a blessing and a curse. He didnt have to worry about her getting gnawed on. But he did have to worry about killing almost all of them himself. Suddenly something totally unexpected happened. I mean, like totally out there and wtf. All the zombies began to dance. They moved in unison, busting some sweet moves. Vicktur recognized the dance from....something. He had seen it before somewhere. Instead of standing around and watching he decided to take advantage. Facing the blade of one sword forward, and the other one backward, he began to spin faster and faster. This created a giant circle where his blade cut everything in their area. A mass of dead bodies collapsed, headless, as he finished his blade dance. Upon turning around to inspect his work he nodded in approval. Plot and stuff made it so he had managed to kill all but a few of them. He was impressed with himself, truly, never before had he accomplished something like that. Then again he had never tried.

"This is true..."

They really weren't bothering with her, then again Vicktor was just so dang strong they probably didn't have time to deal with her. She could relax just a bit and try to figure things out. Thankfully the head that had been cut off of one of them was still alive so she could study that, and possibly take some samples from the others after this conflict was done. If anything she wished to create a cure for this infection to prevent any revolutionary soldiers from turning, hell she might even offer it to the marines as well just to prevent one side from having a weapon capable of killing innocent people like this, but then again they might just try and devise a method to spread it from the cure by reverse engineering it. Perhaps it was best to just let all of this go to waste and just fade from memory, but at the same time, she was a zealot about curing diseases, for one reason or another.

Just as she started to ponder again, she heard a rattling ring throughout the air all around them. Was Vicktor shaking in his boots, this was ridiculous he was a grown man he could fight all of these zombies by himself, couldn't he?

"Vicktor why are you shaking in your..."

it was then that she snapped to the realization that it wasn't Vicktor but rather a giant horde of... skeletons. whipping her body to face towards them, she blocked the sword of the skeleton and pushed it back without much trouble. Falling to the ground, Yomi blinked in a bit of confusion. Of course, the thing put up no challenge, it was a skeleton, it had no muscles at all, the sheer fact that it was moving on its own was weird. Still, for some reason, Yomi thought these skeletons would be a challenge like they had been a fearsome enemy in the past and not just some random little pest that sucked horribly. Maybe all of the good skeletons were fired from their jobs or something? Wait what the heck was Yomi even thinking, this night was starting to get to her and make her think stupid stuff.

"I feel like I am hallucinating, but this isn't medical school so I know I haven't taken anything strange in years. Maybe we are just being punked by some local kid, who hs a fondness for necromancy or something. Really I'm at a loss, should we just fight our way back to town?"

Yomi was about to ask him something before she was interrupted. It seemed that their moonlight excursion wasnt quite done yet. Even after killing nearly every zombie no less. Her mentioning of shaking awoke him to the subtle vibrations as well. Or not so subtle, as he could feel his teeth knocking together from the phenomenon. Earthquake? That was odd. This area didnt get very many earthquakes if any at all. Vicktur could hardly believe it. Which was a good thing, seeing as it wasnt an earthquake. Instead, even more bizzarely, it was a hordes of skeletons! Yea, fucking skeletons! Vicktur shook his head as if he were trying to stay awake. Maybe he was just seeing things? Nope! This shit was really real. He couldnt help but laugh at Yomi's statement about hallucinating Fucking right?! I bet some asshole is having a great time right now. for some reason he was in very high spirits at the moment. Maybe it was the absurdity of what was happening. All he could do was laugh in the face of all that tried to consume him.

His partners suggestion to fight their way back to town was considered. It seemed like the cowards way out at first glance. But as he mulled it over in his head he realized it was the right choice. In fact, it was the SMART choice. Staying mobile could work to their advantage. The last stand approach worked with the zombies, but the skeletons were too large in number. Not to mention they were much quicker. He sheathed his blades, grabbed his cloak, and snapped a large branch off a dead tree. He opted for a blunt force approach over the scalpel like precision of his blades. Lets do that. These bones are as soft as tissue paper. he walked over to Yomi's position and swung like a batter at the plate. The skeletons flew around like leaves in a storm. There was more of them but they were hilariously easy to kill. It would be a piece of cake from now on.

"I concur, even I was able to dispatch with them in but a second."

What was the game here, skeletons and zombies? This was just strange, what was it Halloween or something? Yomi perished the thought, really she just wanted to make sure that the town was alright since the skeletons seemed to come from the area that she had just left. Was this a giant trap, just like the chicken? Seriously that was strange, maybe it was his first mate or something. Then again did that chubby man really have a first mate, his name was probably something weird that rhymed with his own. Now what was that pirates name, it started with an M right? Oh well it didn't matter, if anything from what Yomi saw from these minions the other dudes name probably started with an F. This was all speculation, though, it could have been anyone that did this or just a giant accident, though, at this point Yomi hoped it was someone so she could beat the tar out of them.

Just as she started to rush forward wading through the skeletons, she started to notice that the town was in trouble, due to their being smoke filled with cinders coming from it. Was this all some kind of giant undead raid? As much as Yomi didn't wish to help out the local base, it was better to have marines in charge than some random madman who was decided to slaughter all sorts of people, at least the marines oppressed and didn't often kill.

"Part of the town is under attack, I suppose we will have to back up a few of the marines, are you alright with that Vicktor, I know how much you dislike them, but it is better for the moment to have them in charge than some corpse animating creeper."

It was only now that Yomi realized one last thing, she forgot the head back at the cemetery, oh well she could always go back for it later... right?
