Turf Wars

Turf Wars are the act of claiming Islands as your own or as a piece of land under your Crews influence and control. Claiming Turf as your own awards you or the Captain of the Crew with fixed sums of Beli periodically depending on the location of the Island.

How to get Turf

To begin claiming an Island as something under your control you must complete a series of Arcs who's tiers are dependent on the sea the island is in. The arcs do not have to be done by you solely, Arcs done by Crew Mates count towards this total. Once this prerequisite is met, you may then embark on one more Task claiming the Island as yours. This can be done in a variety of ways depending on your character or Crew's nature. Perhaps you want to have a coronation or democratic vote. Maybe you want to burn everything to the ground and have the citizens rebuild things anew in your name. Maybe beheading the current ruler and taking his seat is more your style, regardless this Task must include the current head of the island may it be NPC or PC.

Should the PC in control of the island you are trying to claim not post within 48 hours, you can continue with your topic uninterrupted or until they decide to enter later. Whatever their fate may be, by the end of the thread you must establish yourself and/or your crew as the new head of the Island. If you plan on raising hell in your final task to take control of the island, expect resistance, the topic to be death enabled, and have staff controlled NPCs, but also expect a hell of a lot of Bounty if you are successful.

Task Requirements

Below are the Arcs and Task you need to complete to work towards claiming an island as your own should the Island be owned by someone already. Arcs can be Devil Fruit Arcs, Skypiean Arcs, anything, as long as they are Arcs.
  • Four Blues - an Arc equivalent in tier to the owner of the island + Staff controlled fight during the Arc
  • Paradise - an Arc equivalent in tier to the owner of the island + Staff controlled fight during the Arc
  • New World - an Arc equivalent in tier to the owner of the island + Staff controlled fight during the Arc

These are the Turf Arcs and Task you need to complete to work towards claiming an island as your own should the Island not be under anyone's control.
  • Four Blues - 1 T3 Arc + 1 Additional Tier 3 Task
  • Paradise - 1 T4 Arc + 1 Additional Tier 4 Task
  • New World - 1 T5 Arc + 1 Additional Tier 6 Task

Invasion Topic

When attempting to conquer and Island that is claimed, you must finish things off with an Invasion topic if you are taking the Island by force. In this Invasion topic after the first post is made by the invader, a 48 hour post window is given to them. In this 48 hour window only people they authorize may post in the topic preparing for the invasion. Attacks cannot be launched in this set up post. After this 48 hours has passed the Island owner and any authorized people may post in preparation for the invasion. Afterwards the topic proceeds in rounds of team posting, Invaders vs Defenders. Each team is given 48 Hours each, not each person, to post and settle the Skirmish.

Before things start sounding too hectic, if there are a large sum of PC participants, the invasion topic can be broken into multiple topics. This is to avoid having a single thread with multitudes of people engaging in PvP, then it turning into a pile of mess that we never see the end of.

A Staff member should allows be brought into the situation in this case to organize the topics.

Monetary benefits come once every two weeks. Obviously the deeper in the world you are, the better rewards you'll get, so that in mind we'll start with the Blues.
  • Four Blues - 5,000,000 Beli
  • Grandline - 25,000,000 Beli
  • New World - 50,000,000 Beli

Along with Bragging Rights you can upgrade your Island as detailed in part two of the system.

Lastly, you the owner of the island gain the ability to not only invade topics tagged Private, Invite Only, Closed, Task, etc on your Island, but you may also create them regardless if you're on Hard Mode or not. Additionally, if the Island is in the Grandline, you are given an Eternal Log Pose that leads to that Island.

  • You yourself can own a maximum of 3 Pieces of Turf.

Turf System

In this part of the Turf System, we'll go over three topics, Statuses of Islands, Upgrading Islands, and Purchasing Upgrades.

Island Status

As touched on in the first section of this system, Islands have statuses, but there is a status beyond Claimed or Unclaimed. This status is Stabilized. Should an island be Stabilized unless it is through an Event, the status of this Island cannot be altered. This is usually the case for government controlled islands like Marineford or islands too dense in population of a certain faction to be controlled by another like Jaya. Claimed means there is an NPC in charge and in power on this Island like how Whitebeard had claimed Fishman Island. Unclaimed means that no specific person is in charge and if the Island is inhabited the people just live free of or in some cases protection.

Upgrading Islands

You finally have some Turf under your control, but there are some changes you want to make to it. In this section you'll find information about building the population of your island, your island's army for defense or maybe attacking, and adding miscellaneous things. For each aspect of the Island there is a category with Tiers you can build upon to make them better. To make these upgrades costs Beli and all of these stats will be tracked on the Island's Island Info page.

Some islands will have upgrades by default signifying that they are inhabited, while others will have none should they be uninhabited. These levels also will represent how difficult it will be to take over certain islands as opposed to others.

These are the aspects of Islands that can be upgraded.

  • Population- Population entails the amount of people that inhabit your Island. Regardless of your affiliation, these people are civilians and unaffiliated, though they can of course benefit from your actions. There are no specific numbers given, just be aware population increases as the Tier does. A population of 0 means the Island is mostly uninhabited.
    • Tier 1 - 5,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 2 - 10,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 3 - 20,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 4 - 50,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 5 - 85,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 6 - 150,000,000 Beli

  • Housing - Housing deals with the level of housing for the civilians on your Island. The higher the tier of the housing the stronger the materials structures on your Island are crafted from and the more advanced the housing is.
    • Tier 1 - Huts|TeePees|Caves|Environmental Housing - 5,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 2 - Basic Wooden Homes|Log Cabins - 5,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 3 - Stone/Brick Wall Homes form Towns - 25,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 4 - Larger Towns with a few Estates - 50,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 5 - Singular Castle surrounded by a City on the Island - 100,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 6 - A few Castles and Cities span the flourishing Island - 500,000,000 Beli

  • Army - The Army size naturally directly correlates with your population, but it must be paid for separately. The Tier of an Army maxes out at 1 Tier lower than your Population. Once the Population reaches Tier 6, the Army can then be equivalent to the Population. NPCs are made by the owner of the Island.
    • Tier 1 - 50 T0 Militia Men - 15,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 2 - 100 T0 Militia Men - 25,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 3 - 150 T1 Militia Men - 50,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 4 - 200 T1 Militia Men|+1 T3 NPC Officer - 75,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 5 - 500 T1 Militia Men|+2 T3 NPC Officers - 125,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 6 - 500 T2 Militia Men|+1 T5 NPC Officer - 250,000,000 Beli

  • Weaponry - Weaponry deal with the type of weapon your Army has at their disposal. All the men in your Army may be armed with the corresponding weapons. This also deals with your port defense and land mounted defenses.
    • Tier 1 - Cavemen Styled Weapons - 5,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 2 - Iron Medieval Weapons - 10,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 3 - Steel Medieval Weapons - 20,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 4 - Typical Firearms - 50,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 5 - +25 Land Mounted Cannons* - 75,000,000
    • Tier 6 - +25 Land Mounted Cannons* - 85,000,000

*Buyers choice as to what Cannons are present.

  • Technology - Technology covers how advanced the utilities are on your island. Having no Technology Tier leaves the Island using fire for things like lighting and open fire cooking, etc.
    • Tier 1 - Dial Based (Inhabitants rely on Dials for things like Air Conditioning, lights, cooking, etc.) - 15,000,000 Beli
    • Tier 2 - Den Den Mushi Routing (Routes Den Den Mushi to major facilities on your island like jails, your headquarters, and Den Den Mushi post in common areas to issue alerts.) - 25,000,000 Beli

  • Miscellaneous - Miscellaneous includes things that aren't listed above. Their pricing is based on the thing it is you are requesting. Maybe you want a large steel wall surrounding your Island or maybe something unique like it always rains. This is where Miscellaneous comes into play. You can only make 6 Miscellaneous upgrades to an Island.

Purchasing Upgrades

Purchasing Upgrades is done on this page via filling out the template. Should you be applying for a Miscellaneous upgrade, it will be priced according to the request. Each Tier must be purchased, meaning you cannot skip from Tier 0 to Tier 6, you must pay for each Tier.
