Equipment Description: EDI is an AI that is designed for a variety of uses, each one requiring an upgrade to unlock. The AI itself can be communicated with IC for storytelling value, but cannot know anything that it shouldn't, i.e. anything that Rokuju herself couldn't know.

  • Using EDI to help with the crafting process decreases word count by 20%. EDI can be used with skills such as the 'Automated Systems' support skill.

EDI's body is a disc 10 cm radius that can float and move at tier 1 speed. It has a pair of small retractable claws to manipulate things and can attach to Ro's body to be out of the way. Using EDI costs 5 energy per post.

When the gun detects no ammo loaded, it switches to ‘energy rounds’. Energy is condensed into a small, hard bullet that detonates with a small concussive blast of 1m diameter that can knock people off balance and destroy wood. Each bullet costs 5 energy.
The gun is made from a mix of epoxy resin and glass fibre similar in durability to steel. When not in use, the gun can transform back into a thin box attached to the user's wrist. 15cm in length, weighs .2kg, fires to 50m accurately.

The below is a bit unorthodox for an item, what I'm trying to get is something that will allow Ro to pass on her know how onto someone that can work on ships.

Equipment Name: Air cannon prototype model
Equipment Type: Gadget
Strength Req.: 0
Equipment Description: Looks like a miniature to scale cannon with pull apart pieces that you can fit in your palm. This model has no function and is to simply show the creator of the real cannon. Is accompanied by a roll of blueprints.

This is a consumable designed to be used by someone that can create weapons for ships. Using this item when crafting the cannons adds 50m of range onto what their range would otherwise be. Once used, this item is consumed. Specifics not listed are to be apped in the cannon app.

The air cannons have two functions, the first can shoot a projectile of condensed air much like a cannonball, the second is a 'coup de burst' type movement where the ship can shoot into the sky briefly.

The cannons are on a small track with iron coils. When the resultant force from firing sends the cannon back on it's track, a magnet attached to the cannon will be pushed through the iron coils, creating current. This does two things, one; creates a self sufficient energy cycle that will automatically reload the canon. Two; transmute the resultant force without it spinning/rocking the ship.

The trigger for the cannons is up to the creator.

like i said reregister it in a whole new template. You may feel like it's organized, but it's hard to track and looks sloppy. c/p the template again, then fill it out accordingly and post (not edit) the upgraded version.

1: 7 energy per bullet, 2m blast diameter, still 1m 75m range, damages iron & destroys lower durability.
2: 10 energy per bullet, 4m blast diameter, 2m 100 range, T3 damage, tier 2 damages steel & destroys lower durability. there are many levels in between outright destroying steel, it'd like this lightly damage it at best

Equipment Name: Ravager Gauntlet

This weapon consists of hardened plastic pieces coloured light brown to give off a bronze look, despite being much stronger and lighter. The webbing in between the pieces are made of the same material, although it is transparent. On the top of the gauntlets is a bold engraving that says "66".

Other than protection and close quarters combat using the gauntlet, there is a built in mechanism that harnesses water from the atmosphere around it (think clima tact) to fuel it's abilities. While the weapon looks like a gauntlet, it is much more like a shotgun and gives up range for superior blast diameter and damage when compared to a pistol of the same make. Fires to 20m, T2 damage and has a 2m blast diameter. Draws enough water to be shot once per post. Weighs .5kg for each gauntlet, 2 in the set. Upon creation the gauntlets are limited to the flame output and acquires the ice output upon upgrading.

Fire output - The mechanism fires a pellet of activated water. This activated water has had it's intramolecular bonds disrupted. When the water collides with a solid surface, the energy locked in the bonds is released, simultaneously generating heat and breaking the H2O into it's base elements. These then react with a popping flame, applying damage and knocking those in range off their feet.

Ice output - The mechanism fires a pellet of water that has been projected to a heat sink. The kinetic energy within the water being forcefully raised, once colliding with a solid surface, the kinetic energy bottoms out, spreading the water over the range and pulling vapour from the atmosphere for instant sublimation, flash freezing the area. This applies damage over the range and stops movement of those hit for 1 post.

Im not sure how a pellet of water is able to flash freeze an entire area, if anything this would simply freeze the water and create a simple ice bullet? a simple pellet would be unable to halt anyone, that would need to be a large amount of water and an immense amount of cold to flash freeze an area aswell as a person. You may get a second opinion to be safe but i don't think the ice part really works out.

Basically the idea I was going for is that the pellet is 'charged' but dormant when it is fired, just like in the fire output. Then the force of impact is what triggers the effect. Maybe you're right that there would require more water. Changed so that atmospheric vapour is pulled for condensation.

Equipment Name: Blitz Sticks
Equipment Type: Weapon

appearance:

A pair of hard plastic tonfa dyed dark navy with a glossy sheen. The length of the sticks are 35 centimetres with the handle jutting out 8 centimetres, on the end of which, a number of small buttons can be found. On the opposite side of the body to the handle, the number '66' is etched in small print.

There is a button on the handle which when held, enables the body to spin on the axis provided by the handle. One full rotation spin is enough to prime the tonfa. Once it is primed, the tonfa can then use one of it's abilities by pressing another button on the handle. When one of these abilities are executed, the tonfa's inner glass wiring lights up in a deep blue neon hue as shown in the picture. Each of the abilities are unlocked with an upgrade.

Pop - this ability uses the stored energy to mechanise either one full spin or projecting the tonfa 3 metres by blasting air out of one of the ends. If used to augment a strike or skill, it increases the speed and material damage of the strike by one. If used on it's own (from a standstill without any wielder assistance) then it moves at t3 speed. Damage done with the unaided spin is t3, otherwise the damage is based on the attack or skill it is used with.

Sizzle - this ability turns the stored energy into an electrical current that causes an effect when used in conjunction with lightning augmented POD. After funneling electricity through this item using the users own abilities, the next swing with this item will send out an arc wave of electricity the size of the swing, that travels in a forward direction up to 10 metres, making whoever it touches convulse uncontrollably for a post. However this does not do lasting damage, after the post, those affected sustain no damage.
