1 Orange Town Hustle (Open) on Fri Sep 16, 2016 6:35 am

Ataru woke up in no particular rush in a small mom & pop bed and breakfast. He stretched loudly looking around his small room. It had a bed in the left corner a small end table in the right and a chest for his belongings at the foot of the bed. Resting on top of the chest was Ataru's sword as well as his two dials he had just purchased. He had sold all of his belongings and taken to the sea, a member of the Revolutionary Army now he wasn't quite sure what to do first. He had received a letter detailing how he should meet up with an operative in Orange town. So here he was first thing he needed was to attach his flame dial to his sword. Hopping out of bed he grabbed his Dao blade and took it to the end table with  his flame dials in hand.

Dial Construction(316 words)
There are a lot of things that interest Ataru about dials, but the highest on the list is their natural form. Dials are all shellfish at least a part of them, capable of absorbing different forms of energy and releasing them. Examining his fire dial as he ran his fingers over the shell, it was red and already had a flame stored as Ataru kept up his dial maintenance every day. After years of practicing he believed he was finally ready to attach a dial to an object. He examined his dao blade deciding that the best place to put the flame dial on was the bottom side of his cross-guard. He slowly placed the shell onto the blade handle with his left hand moving it around by minute measurements while placing his right hand around the blade as if he was wielding it. He wanted to make sure that it was positioned where it would be easy to reach but at the same time not to easy that he would accidentally activate it. Location was everything when using dials in combat, the adrenaline rush and chaos of battle would often cause Ataru to lose fine motor control, so being able to push the apex with a palm  or clenched fist rather than a finger was important. Once he found the right spot Ataru would dismantle the cross-guard marking where he planed to put the dial. Once attached Ataru would start to coat the dial gold so it would appear to be a design of a seashell on the blade. After this he would be sweating as he reattached the cross-guard to the blade one mistake could mean major burns for his body. He swung it back and forth making sure the weight wasn't thrown off by the new addition.  Proud of his accomplishment Ataru sheathed his blade and started to get dressed for the day.

It was a sunny day outside and Ataru didn't want to deal with lugging his coat around so he dressed in white undershirt and a black long skirt with an orange light silk hood. His hair was still well banded though in another day or two he would have to redo his hair as he could tell it was slowly becoming nappy. He finished placing his white hairband on his head. Then he placed his sword on his left hip holstering it to his waist. He started to wrap a bandage around his left hand and up his arm, in his palm he had his impact dial placed. A precaution that he had learned watching  dial combat, always keep an impact dial handy and concealed. Smiling he made his bed and double checked to make sure his room was neat. He would need to find odd jobs in this town so he could start saving up for a real ship. He pulled the letter out that he had received from a Revolutionary, it mentioned the comrade he would be meeting would be outside of the Drinker's Pub. Ataru was never one to complain about bars he found them to be the liveliest part of any town. With a wave to the wife of the owner Ataru was walking down the street. Orange town wasn't the biggest town but you could still see the people moving about on their business of the day. As he walked south towards the bar he'd see more villagers but none of them stuck out as an operative. In a couple of minutes he arrived outside the bar he would take a look around seeing if anyone would approach him or if he saw anyone that looked like they might be a revolutionary."Next time I really need to get a name or picture" Ataru muttered under his breath at his own frustration.

A town that had been rebuilt many times thanks to the frequent visits of pirates. But pirates weren’t as big of a problem since the marines had built a branch here. Since then commerce had been booming. The once poor town that was on the verge of implosion was now a shopping destination a tourist spot even. There would have been a time when it would have taken Aloeus awhile to make it hear but now there were plenty of ships moving in the Archipelago. There was even talk of expansion outside of Orange town.

Aloeus had arrived at night two days ago having been sent to Orange Town on orders from the Revolutionary army. Not knowing how long he would be working Alo wanted to make the best of his free time. For him that meant lining his pockets and getting into trouble. If by chance he also got to know the cities layout and meet a few people that would be icing on the cake. Waking up on a king sized bed with no else but himself, not that he wasn’t sure he could find someone to help him fill it, Aloeus jumped from the bed to windowsill looking through the curtains. This was the day he was supposed to meet his contact no more vacation time for him. Grabbing his goggles he let them hang from his neck, putting on his gloves that he had left on the nightstand Alo made a quick exit from the room. He had been staying here without paying. The staff had gotten suspicious some thought there was a mouse the more superstitious of them thought a spirit had possessed the room.

“Thanks for the room!” Aloeus called out to know one in particular as he exited the hotel. Aloues was wearing a pink and blue Hawaiian shirt with floral pattern. If one looked close enough it would look as he was in his under but in fact it was a black Mawashi.  Setting off down the streets his legs wouldn’t perceptible to most even though wasn’t moving at top speed. He was heading to get something to eat. As he moved through the streets a few noticed but weren’t sure of what they were seeing. Dwarfs were a rare site even on the grandline for one to be seen in town in a town in East Blue was all the more unlikely.

Revolutionaries were made up all the races of the world. There was no formal uniform no particular physical trait that would standout. Most of them excelled at blending in with the populous, if the person Alo was looking for didn’t want to be found then Alo probably couldn’t find him. So why look, it wasn’t quite time to meet some. Stopping in front of the restaurants doors the aroma emanating from inside filled the area. This promised to be a good meal. The doors opened as a pair of children came out led by a boy of no more than twelve years. Engaged in some conversation that didn’t matter much the boy didn’t see Alo as he stepped out holding his ground he raised his hands and braced for impact. It wasn’t like Alo couldn’t have simply moved out the way this was his way of making a statement. “Watch where you’re going BLOCKHEAD, I’m standing here!” To the boy it would have felt as if he had stepped on a small rock.  Pushing back on the foot caused the boy to fall back into his sister.  Stepping out from under the falling boy the dwarf ran across the boy’s as his sister stared in disbelief and he yelled out. Quickly Aloes responded with a smack to boy’s cheek. There would certainly be bruising he had probably hit the boy to hard but there was no regret as he stood on the boy’s chest with a stern face.  “Shut up already! You’re not dying or anything and even if you were then that noise isn’t helping. What you should be doing is apologizing.”

Ataru had arrived outside the bar he decided to look around and leaned up against the wall 10 ft from the door. As he looked down the street he saw a scene that looked amusing. There was a child who had fallen in the most peculiar way. It was almost as if someone had pushed or thrown him onto the ground. However Ataru wasn't that interested and he kept scanning around. He saw one man that could possibly be his contact he was around 5'6 wearing a loose shirt and some trousers. He had a muscular build around him and his skin was tanned from the sun most likely from being on the sea. This is the kind of person Ataru had thought of when he read the letter. The man was approaching the bar as well, Ataru would engage him in conversation when he was closer.Hey names Dan did you happen to get my letter?"Ataru figured talking in a slight code would inconspicuous and if it was the wrong man he would have no idea what he was talking about. The man looked at him like he was crazy and Ataru knew that this wasn't the guy. He apologized and started walking off, he glanced back to the children again. The boy was screaming out now though most people were not paying a crying child any mind. Ataru hated to hear cry babies, he hoped someone would shut him up soon. It appeared as his sister did because not long after thinking it the boy grew quiet. Ataru would wait for the man to go into the bar before walking back and assuming his same position.

He looked down the other side of the road to see if he would catch anyone looking at him, it was possible the other agent was unsure on how to find him either. "I guess if it was easy to find a Revolutionary we wouldnt' make to good of an army." Ataru was talking under his breath again.

I'll just have to make a better systems with dials one day, every member could get a tone dial and then they could set up some kind of dead drop system. Yeah that's a good idea I'll have to make a note of it for later.Thinking in his head how he would solve the solution in the future Ataru was unsure what to do in the present. Feeling a little thirsty Ataru decided he would slip into the bar for a quick drink then return to his position. Walking into the bar Ataru could tell immediately it wasn't a place you would go to if you were a marine. There were multiple pirate looking figures, most of the patrons had tattoos of different jolly rogers indicating their particular crew. It was the age of piracy after all at least it didn't seem like any were too interested by Ataru. He heard snickers from one of the tables as he walked to the bar. It wasn't uncommon for people to laugh at Ataru's skirts as some people didn't believe men should wear skirts. Just another weird custom of the blue sea people, Ataru laughed now he would forget some times that he was a blue sea person. He missed Skypeia and their culture but he knew that if he wanted to go back it would need to be as a visitor and not a citizen. When he did arrive back in Skypeia he would make sure he was stronger and capable of being self sufficient so his street would be proud. He had just arrived at the bar as he sat down in an empty stool. On his left there was an open seat to his right there sat a man who was drinking a mug of some brownish drink. The stools were old cracked wood, Ataru wasn't sure if it would survive his sitting as soon as he sat down he heard it creak. He asked the bar tender to get him his best rum, the bar tender laughed as he pulled a mug and poured the same brown drink that the man had on his right. Rum was one of Ataru's favorites it was cheap and had a good taste most of the time. You could depend on most bars to carry some kind of rum as well. He took a healthy swig from his mug as he looked around the room again. Flipping some Beli to the bartender.

"OOhwee!" Tina (The girl) squealed out in excitement. Picking up Aloeus off of her brother she began stroking his head with her finger. This has to be one of those new automaton plushies! Tina spoke fast in a remarkably shrill voice kind off annoying and more than dwarf could take. "Unhand me! he scolded as he wriggled free of her grip. It didn't take much as he was already slipping out because his weight strained her weak muscles. Her brother had gotten to his feet and had found his voice without the water works but you still tell he was quite fragile. "What are you? He would ask as he peered down at the little person in front of him. With great disgust and as if choking on the works ' What, not 'who' you have some fucking nerve you little shit. With that he slammed a fist into the door that lead into the restaurant. The nerve of them I'm not eating there. Running off he left the kids to deal with disgruntle manager.

Not thinking Aloeus didn’t have to go very far his replacement meal a couple doors down there was another place to eat. This time he didn’t even stop at the doors before going. Maybe he had stopped he would have actually noticed that this was actually the location

Under the swinging double doors Aloeus walked taking in the environment he had exchanged the restaurant for.  It wasn’t much, simple, old fashioned even and there weren’t many people. It was pretty early after all. I guess that was good thing. If the bar had been full at this time of day what would that say about Orange town? Although it would have been nice to have to have a full crowd Aloeus would have a good time regardless. “OSSAN put on some food and bring out the goo drank. Not that swill these people are drinking.” Alo had not been to this bar, he didn’t know what the barkeep looked like, and his view behind the counter was obstructed but it wasn’t entirely impossible that whoever was working had heard of a dwarf on the island.  Barkeepers tended to be some of the more informed individuals.

If any sober eyes did manage to settle on him as he walked swiftly from the doors it would still be hard to discern what exactly they saw. Even more so with between the double vision of inebriation they might just assume they were drunk.  Maneuvering under chairs and tables he made his way to bars counter scaling the stool next to Ataru.

“Almost as many woman in here as men, huh?” Aloues commented slyly after having taken notice of Ataru’s attire.  “Is the food any good here?” Alo was used to stares when he moved slowly enough to be seen and given that he wasn’t one to hide he tended to get noticed a lot. Up until now the barkeep had been working with back turned. Having taken out a expensive bottle that had not been open. The barkeep was waiting first to see the customer before trusting them to pay for it. At first there seemed to be no one new. The doors still remained, no one who had passed out was up, everything  appeared the same but it wasn’t. Eyes settled on the stool at the bar that moments ago had been empty. At first the face in front of Alo read the same as everyone else’s so many questions without even saying a word. But that expression quickly vanished to one that surely was used for any other customer. The only question was “Do you want the bottle or a glass?”

Ataru had been enjoying his rum and had a small little buzz going as he smiled thinking of all the things he would do in the Revolutionary Army. When he heard the weirdest comment, there weren't many women in this tavern at all. He looked around to see where the comment came from the man on the right was polishing off his rum so unless he was a ventriloquist it couldn't of been him. Ataru would put his hand on his blade for a second thinking that maybe he had heard a spirit. There were tales of how spirits could wander into places where they had perished looking for revenge. Then again he had been drinking it could be something else entirely, unsure he loosened his grip on his blade. He looked to his left and saw nothing maybe he was more intoxicated then he assumed, then again he heard the same voice asking about the food quality. He looked around again and this time he managed to spot what looked like a small toy on the stool to his left. He saw him at the same time as the bartender, he seemed surprisingly calm so it must be another blue sea people thing. He had rumors that there were species that would be shocking to him, but a leprechaun was something else. No doubt about it man you have now officially seen a leprechaun who else would come into the bar and ask for one of the  most expensive drinks. Maybe if you befriend him he'll give you some gold, or maybe you're really drunk either way their are worse ways to wait for your meeting.

With his friendliest smile he could muster Ataru spoke to the leprechaun."So where are you from stranger. I imagine the food isn't horrible but with the quality of the patrons I imagine if you don't have a strong stomach to not risk it. I'm Ataru and new to town got to be careful in places like this blue sea people are deceiving by nature.". While waiting to see what he would say Ataru would take another swig of his rum. That was one of the best parts about rum the more you drank the more you could taste the separate ingredients inside. The small amount of sweetness in each swig with the hint of vanilla, then came the best part the spice. It was always just a small amount like liquid fire Ataru could tell this wasn't the highest quality of rum but you had to enjoy what you could afford. One day, maybe sooner than he thought with a leprechaun in front of him he'd be able to afford aged rum. One where all the flavors were distinct and colorful instead of an amalgamation that took a couple swigs to distinguish.

Not often did Aloeus meet someone in this ocean, who didn't gawk at him, treat him as a toy, or even ask him stupid questions. Given his attire it was already the stranger was already a unique to say the least.

How did one answer the question 'where are you from?'  Is it the place you were born, perhaps where you grew up, or spent the most time? Does a slave claim the place they are enslaved to as where they are from? How about where you felt at home? Regardless he couldn't tell a stranger about Greenbit the risk would be too great. At this point he had been traveling for more than twice his life. Frustrated Alo took up the bottle opening he took long chug. Well long for a dwarf. Even when he had stopped drinking in reality much of the bottle still remain. Putting down the bottle hard on the counter he stood up on the stole facing Ataru. Jeez why don’t you just take out your sword right now and put here. Alo stated his words sloshed as he gestured to his stomach. He suddenly looked more wild more animalistic than before. This hostility wasn’t just  because of the alcohol there were deeper underlying issues at play. Why don’t you spill YOUR guts big man. The nerve you have! Why don’t you introduce yourself and buy me a before you trying to screw ‘us’. Clearly Aloeus mind was elsewhere and this was just about Ataru’s question.  Still standing he reached for the bottle again but was looking for his food. Quickly the bartender slid the bottle back and pushed the plate forward. Alo didn’t seemed to notice the switch and happily to a bite before looking up. I am not an animal, FORK! Am I supposed to treat this like a trough and just put my face in? Taking up the fork he begun an awkward dance of eating with a utensil that was almost as long as he is.

Watching the leprechaun take a swig from the bottle, Ataru waited patiently for his response. He wondered if the leprechaun's anatomy was similar to humans and would he feel the effect of alcohol similar to a human. Ataru chuckled at the sword comment he wasn't sure if it was a joke but it was quite funny."My bad I thought for a second when I heard your voice but didn't see you that there was a spirit or ghost haunting me. You hear a lot of tales like that when you travel on the seas I'm sure you're aware."Listening to the leprechaun speak again Ataru felt like he was drunk. He wasn't sure if the man was angry or not it was hard for him to gauge the response since he knew little of leprechaun culture. It was very possible that he had offended the man in some way, if so he hoped his apology was sincere enough to quell his anger. He took a drink now polishing off the rest of his rum, it gave his stomach a warm feeling. The bar wasn't a bad idea at all it was a good place to remain discreet. It was then that Ataru remembered that  he still had to find his revolutionary contact.

"As I've said before I am Ataru, I am currently traveling the seas looking for work. I don't have a very interesting story was raised decently not much to complain about. Been hustled here and there by pirates, the government and royals. Not much different from any other villager except I like to travel." He would watch the leprechaun receive his food and eat it with his fork. It was clear that the man wanted to be treated as if he were a human from his attempt to use a fork. He would have to be careful not to mention his size that much seemed obvious to Ataru. For now though he would start to get up he had already paid the bartender. "Now if you would excuse me for a second I need to check if my future coworker has arrived."If he wasn't interrupted Ataru would walk outside the bar, and look around the area. There were no newcomers on the street, he would start to become a little frustrated. Whoever his contact was they didn't seem to care about the letter's instructions. He wondered if all the Revolutionaries were similar to the man he was meeting. Then again there were probably good reasons this was a clandestine organization it wouldn't be too easy or the government would be able to thwart them. He would walk back into the bar and sit back at the same spot ordering another mug of rum. Taking a sip he would slide more beli at the bartender while looking back at the leprechaun.

Choking Aloeus spewed out some wine onto the counter top. Rapidly his hands smacked against the counter he could barely reach from where he sat, laughing loudly Spirit! That is a new one. Do you think if you drink enough of them, the spirits you might become one? This place is full of them after all.
Did you get the biggest bottle you could find? Aloeus asked the barkeep sarcastically. The fact of the matter was it actually just a normal sized bottle.

Putting down his fork he looked to the bottle there was still plenty left over. Yeah I guess I have heard a few stories, Ataru huh, you did say that.Even though pirates impacted a lot of peoples lives Ataru had used a lot of red flags words that Aloeus had noticed. This man had also had dealings with the government and royals. Not are very common history it was the kind of history that brought people to fight for the Revolutionary Army. Is the idiot my contact? After one drink he says so much, to a stranger! What happens when he gets caught!?

As Ataru stood Aloeus took a look at the clock. I guess I should also be leaving also what kind of man spends the good portion of daylight sitting in a bar. Ataru I'll walk you out. Is this coworker of yours a woman maybe I can have a crack at her. Since your not into that sort of thing. It was about time for them to meet, officially. Taking a final bite of his food.  He pushed aside grabbing the bottle to go. He also paid the man.

If Ataru let Aloeus walk outside with him no objections he would introduce himself as soon as they walked through the doors. "The names Aloeus Blackthorn. My friends may call me Aloe I don't know how long we are going to be working together but lets get it over with. I'll say this once I am a Dwarf but that doesn't make less than a man. No need to walk on eggshells. I can handle anything you have to say and can pull my own weight." Somewhere in what Aloeus had said was an easy joke to be made. Taking advantage of that opportunity would result in harsh scolding but cause respect to bloom.

Ataru laughed at his odd play on words with the spirits as alcohol. As Ataru got up to walk out the bar the leprechaun walked out with him. He had asked about who his coworker and Ataru didn't answer straight away thinking about what the leprechaun meant by he wasn't into that sort of thing."What do you mean I'm not into that sort of thing? What would you even do with a human woman anyways?"The last comment may of come off as a little callous but Ataru was more curious then trying to sound speciesist. When they walked out of the bar Ataru looked around, once again there didn't seem to be anyone new on the street. Just Ataru and the leprechaun who had just introduced himself as Aloeus. The more stunning news was that he was a dwarf, Ataru had not hit the jackpot even more strange he said working together. Then it hit Ataru this dwarf might be the agent he is suppose to meet, he would have to ask in an innocuous way.

"Ah if we are to work together then you must have received a letter from the garden society of Orange town. Do you mind if I see your letter?" Just in case he was being set up by the world government, this would ensure that Aloeus was who he said. Ataru was also ready to run just in case Aloeus was an impostor he was not ready to be sent to jail as his first event in Orange town. It could also be that he was just making a joke and Ataru was reading more into it then he realized. Ataru had his letter ready in his pocket if Aloeus handed over his letter he would give it a glance to make sure it was from the Revolutionary Army then hand over his.If indeed Aloeus was his partner Ataru would ask where they would want to meet next. Aloeus would make for an interesting companion he had never met a dwarf and he wondered what kind of person this Aloeus is.

Aloeus decided to ignore Ataru’s question about ‘interested in what’. It could be more accurate to say women wouldn’t be interested in him, even if Ataru did in fact liked women. “If you have to ask ME what kinds of things us men do with women then there is a lot of work to be done with you! There really isn’t hope in this guy.  Aloeus looked at him with endless curiosity as he began trying to envision a life a where one had experience with the world government, pirates, and royals but still didn’t know about sex. Completely flummoxed he gave up. Perhaps that story would come up later as and his coworker got to know each other more.

Even still Ataru managed to shock Aloeus. At hearing of the letter Aloeus’ jaw dropped. “So I don’t actually carry around confidential documents that implicate me as a member…” Revolutionary Army.  But instead he said “Our Group.” Aloeus was just that kind of person, he was that careful. “If you’re thinking that the enemy might actually have managed to employee someone like me. Then there might be hope for you after all. But if I wasn’t your partner you wouldn’t have seen me coming… That is the smart play.” What Ataru didn’t know is that Aloeus probably would have still made himself known in some capacity he did prefer that the enemy saw him coming. Aloeus wasn’t sure if this would convince him but in the event this didn’t work there was an emergency shutdown activity protocol that would go into place for the both of them. Aloeus would not rather not invoke because not only would this mission be blown he would also have came here for nothing. Then Aloeus thought of something words that his recruiter and mentor spoke, a poem. It was a long shot because of the string of coincidences that would have led to their meeting would have been high.  First Ataru would have to joined on a branch in the grandline. Next he would have spent time on a location monitored by that man but as long they had met then Ataru would have heard the poem too, even if it wasn’t a long meeting. Aloeus would recite the first half of the short poem allowing Ataru to finish it if he knew it. If he did then there would be nothing more to say because the proof of identity would be in the poem.

The Revolutionary Army's operatives meetings weren't always this difficult. But for this relationship to form first they had to remember the words of great senior that came before them. As apart of that they couldn't be provided with a meeting protocol they had to come up with one that would work for them, a way to foster trust.

After listening to Aloeus speak Ataru frowned. He would have to take a risk in trusting Aloeus, something that he would of preferred to avoid on his first task. Aloeus then recited a poem that Ataru immediately recognized from when he met his first Revolutionary as a man. He had spoken a poem very similar over a fire in the forest that night. Ataru finished the poem although their were minor mistakes as he hadn't heard it in a while. It was probably a fair bet to say that Aloeus was his contact. He remembered all the stories that his savior had told him of adventures in the Grand Line and how the Revolutionary Army created a life where he would have no regrets. Moved by old thoughts and memories Ataru looks up at the sky.It was turning out to be more eventful of a day then Ataru had planned he finally met his first partner in the business and he was much different then Ataru had expected. It would be interesting to see how Aloeus handled a world made for humans if nothing else he will be great for covert missions. Ataru starts thinking of different dial creations that could possibly help assist Aloeus. Images of mock sky warfare soared through Ataru's mind observing all the different dial objects he had seen it was an art, Ataru would have many pieces attributed to his name. He would look as if he was staring at the setting sun for a couple of seconds before looking back at Aloeus.

Gathering his thoughts Ataru smiles and says "Alright then I guess its me and you for the foreseeable future we should think of some basic work protocols, I'm brand new to being in the field I'm not sure about you." After he finished speaking Ataru would wait to hear if Aloeus had anything more to say, if not he would ask for when they wanted to meet next. Ataru wondered how Aloeus was in a fight with him being so small, hopefully he wouldn't find out to soon.

Closing his eyes he listened to the butchered words of one his teachers. Good enough I suppose Aloeus thought.  Finally the pair had officially met. Walking away from the bar Aloeus figured it would be best to talk about there plans away from the traffic of this very public area. As they passed the diner the children's father from earlier had shown up and was in shouting match with the diner's proprietor. Carefully Aloe tried to avoid their gaze should they look down as the children spun a story that sounded like a fairy tale.

Pouting Aloeus repeated ‘Protocols. how boring, can’t we do that later? Pleading to Ataru, the dwarf had grown bored of the procedural and was ready to get to what he knew best, theft.  It was a simple mission that was more about getting accustom to each other actually radically affecting the cause.  The pair was to steal what they could for the benefit of the army.   Let’s get to the fun stuff.  So I have been around for a few days now. The town isn’t all that big marines normally are around the port watching to see when pirates come in. But when there is a problem they deploy straight from their base. If someone wanted to flee by sea, and was docked at the port then they would run into marines. If we were perhaps able to spread the marines out then we could steal undeterred.  We need to come up with a distraction.” It was still broad day light there were more than a few details to be ironed out. For starters they needed to identify a target. Of course was also the fact they had to transport the items, and escape.

Aloeus shunned the idea of discussing protocol so soon. It wasn't to surprising to Ataru he knew there were lots of people who disliked structure and rules it seemed likely that a lot of these individuals would be in a group trying to break down the current regime's structure and rules. Aloeus wanted to go straight to the stealing that the duo were suppose to accomplish for the Revolutionary Army. While he knew that the planning of the stealing as well as the targets were up to Ataru and Aloeus . As Aloeus mentioned that they would need some sort of distraction for the Marines. There was also the fact that Ataru wasn't to skilled at stealing himself but he hoped that Aloeus could cover his bases there. The more he thought the more questions that came into his mind.

"Leave the distraction to me anytime something interesting occurs while I'm in town there is usually a fire."Leaving the rest of his meaning to interpretation by Aloeus Ataru smiled and continued speaking."Though I do see a problem  in that I only have a rowboat I have been saving to get a larger vessel. So we might want to remain in the Marine's good graces if possible. At least until we have a faster means of escape from the island." He wasn't sure if Aloeus was the kind of person to be swayed by reason. They did just have a couple drinks so maybe now wasn't the best time to discuss to intricate of plans.Thinking of all the things he had encountered in Orange town he wasn't even sure where to start to earn some much needed income. The place that seemed to have the most likely amount of beli on hand was the bar they just came from. Looking around their immediate vicinity Ataru did not see anyone that could be listening and he whispered to Aloeus"Well I haven't given to much thought to the whole idea do you have any likely targets? The bar we just left comes to mind because they might have beli in the register or a vault in the back."Now that he thought about it the streets were emptier than usual for it to still be daytime. Maybe because they were taking unused roads either way they seemed to have privacy for the moment. Ataru would look around while they were walking seeing if there was anything that might answer their question in front of them.

Aloeus eye’s let up with interest. Was Ataru proposing arson? That is just the kind of thing that would keep surely the marines and the whole town busy.  Fire was also a hard thing to control though, it went without saying that Ataru should take care and not burn up the place with Aloe inside. However Aloes wasn’t the type to leave anything unsaid. “I swear if anything ‘interesting’ happens while I’m inside of it I’ll kick your ass, I will! IF you can handle a distraction then leave the thieving to me.” Listening to him speak of staying unnoticed by the marines. The dwarf nodded in agreement it would make being a thief and a revolutionary so much harder to gain a bounty over something so trivial. This mission wasn’t worth it.  “Just make sure marines are good and distracted and they won’t notice either of us.”  Aloe couldn’t help but be disappointed at learning that Ataru only had a rowboat which means he too didn’t have the navigation skills needed if they were to liberate a boat. Aloe had already thought of potential targets meticulously. But when he was making those plans he believed that he would have more space to store cargo. Gritting his teeth the wheels turned briefly in his head as he made some adjustments. When he had figured it out the plans alterations, Aloe banged a fist on his open palm (like one might do when playing rock paper scissor or setting up a Kamehameha).

“Money isn’t the objective here. There is plenty of cash but no real honey pot, materials and weapons is the only real consideration.” It would be great if they could reroute a shipment onto another island unfortunately not enough planning had went to that.  There was another way. “Our target will be the Marine Base!” It was the most difficult but it was the only area that had sufficient resources for the risk.  “We will need the distraction to be at the dock and at the bar.” Given that Aloes didn’t pester Ataru about the details of how to distract marines he wanted the same benefit of the doubt when it came to the theft. If the fire started on the ships or dock then saving the contents of the ships would be high priority. The citizens in this area would likely go to dock to help put out the fire or gawk at it.  A fire a fire at bare would blaze hot and quick but casualties would be almost nonexistent cause the area would have been mostly cleared before it started. Marines would be split between fires and ensuring people had evacuated.
