Jack The Drought

Pick Pocketing, and a Ship{Open} Maxresdefault

Water 7 is a beautiful place that tourists come to see year round not because of it view but because of it thrilling life that means jobs, and Beli. Lets be honest what man or woman don't like the finer things in life that is just how sick the world is today. More importantly the crowded docks of Water 7 had allowed majority of Jack's men blended in with the local tourists with relatively ease. Unfortunately for Jack he wasn't as luck being a 10 feet tall Elephant Minkmen stealthy approach wasn't possible because of his race, and size. But fortunately for Jack tall people was common in paradise in some cases the people are taller them him. But it seems like today wasn't one of those days in fact majority of the people were 6-8 feet tall 6 feet being the minimal minus the kids, woman, and babies. You see Jack had set up a pick pocketing system for looting the locals tourists of expensive items, and beli for the growth of his organization. The targets was selected by a basic system which anyone who without visible weapons , and doesn't look like local officials. The system was simple a simple bump, and grab to retrieve whatever items the grunted had thought was valuable. The operation was 60 man operation the reason why was to cover as much as grounded as they could. The group of grunts stayed within 20m radius keeping an eye out for each other, and potential targets, and or threats. Jack himself was leaning against the wall of a old building probably a old shipyard facing the waters, and ships. This way he could carefully watch the progress, and protect himself ifrom potential dangers after all he is criminal who just rob a bank just a couple days ago .

The weather was quite normal the basic sunny day with no chance of rain.  As for the ships there were several oddly enough only one stood out, and it seems to be a marine vessel called Queen Anne, and Jack had his eyed on it for quite sometime now. He just didn't firgue out his approach yet to the vessel. Anyway operation was good smoothly they had already stole a large sum, and they had even established signals if something should happen. For those who don't know Jack is a man of massive stature taller then most people{10feet}.  However, while still being immensely muscular, Jack's arms are disproportionately small when compared to his enormous torso.  He have blonde yellow hair , and his hair is wear in a ponytail with 1 long braids on each side. He wears a dark, sleeves , feathery coat with bone pauldrons spikes on each shoulder.  Wrap around his waist fit a belt that have his jolly roger in center of the belt buckled. With a single pair of  gray baggy jeans, and grayish skin with a 2meter trunk. Not to mention his additional tusks one each on each side which exactly 2 meters in length Jack wasn't minkmen to be easily defeated. Strangely enough Jack was quite relax his arms folded in place as his eyes swept across the crowd easily. The docks stretch for several hundred of meters as the ships that Jack had wanted was only a few meters away give or take. Jack had grinned eagerly as he said,"I can always use one of these." Yes Jack was in the immediate radius of operation after all he was the bronzes of it or so he would like to think he is maybe he not.

You see Jack, and his grunts had developed a system which allows them to communicated through the means of body languages. It was rather simple system which attracts minimal suspicion to them as well as help them with daily operations which no hitch. It was indeed true that the dock stretch for hundreds meters but the width was 20meters ,and like before his grunts had already established a 20meter radius pick pocketing individuals that met Jack requirements. Unfortunately his group was vastly growing, and he needed a stable environment in which he can called his headquarters.

That ship was exactly what he was looking for as far as he can tell. Jack position was the same just across the street from the Queen Anne while the docks did stretch couple hundred meters in length in width was only 20meters. The building in what he was leaning against was facing the docks Jack had unfolded his arms as he rub his nose this was an signal that one of his grunts not to far along seen. It was a signal of collecting information more importantly it was signal that Jack had established to help him browse the new merchandise he had his eyes on. The signal was a standard nose wipe, and finished off with a standard pointing jester at the item in which he had wanted. They knew exactly what that was it was the ships Queen Anne which hadn't shown any movement for a couples of days now which was good.It was time to see the status of this fine vessel which Jack had wanted for himself. About five grunts had broke off to investigate the ship not to board but to see how many was aboard the ship itselfi. There was a few signals amongst  the individuals but of course this scouting was done with caution they wasn't stupid enough to bunch together in a group they operate at 4 meters grap so little attention could be draw. The operation was still going smoothly, and everyone had there eyes open watching one another back as they did before. Jack had fold his arm in disgust he was getting bored surely something exciting would happen after all he was ruthless pirate.Jack had grunted in disgust as he lick his lips in excitement.

You Know I Got the Pole On Me

A couple of days ago some guy had decided to rob a bank causing Hanbei to be put on the case at the early hours of the morning. Tourist hour at that. As always he'd leave the barracks with a cup of tea in his right hand and his cane that was actually his sword Entei in the other. He didn't really need the sword to walk, but he liked the slight relief it offered his bones and felt it allowed him to perform at his best for a longer period of time as opposed to when he walked normally the whole day. He also like to act old just to deceive people as well. Hanbei was an honorable man, or so he liked to think, but he liked it when people beautiful women took pity on him and offered to help him out. Sipping his tea, careful not to burn himself he'd first go to the bank where he was told to go by his superior officer. There he followed around a bunch of detectives who didn't even talk to or at him. He was curious as to why he and a few other marines were sent, maybe just to save face and make it look like the Marines were invested? "Hmm . . ." Hanbei rubbed his sagely beard at the thought of being used as such a feeble piece in the grand scheme of things, but figured he was getting paid for it, so it wasn't too bad. "Hey old man you listening?
"Huh? Oh yes, the man had an elephant and snow cone yes? Should I go check if the circus is missing th-" The detective slapped his hand against his own face in disappointment.

"Can I get someone who has taken their medicine this morning over here?" Hanbei ignored the spiteful words and maneuvered his hand that was holding his cup of tea to the right said of his head where he extended a single pinky and picked some wax out his ear before examining it. The cup still gripped tightly with his remaining digits, he looked around for a place to dispose of the golden nugget since he couldn't spare any fingers to flick the crud off. Eyes shifting left and right, he saw another Marine rush over to the detectives aid, since Hanbei was apparently no help. If the circus was missing an elephant were they not to care?

"Sir!" The Marine stood directly in front of Hanbei, so in between him and the detective. "Rude lil' youngin' ain't ya." He muttered under his breath or at least he thought he did, but the Marine seemed to have heard him as he turned his attention half backwards and let his eyes slide over to look at Hanbei with a spent expression. Returning the fed up look with a sheepish smile, Hanbei stepped over to the left so he could be in view of the detective and actually follow the conversation. As he did so he'd slyly wipe the ear wax on the Marine's uniform, then look up at him hoping he wasn't detected. He wasn't, either that or he was ignored, but anyways' the conversation moved on.

"We have these images captured from our surveillance Den Den Mushi. The guy seems to have elephant like features and he's huge, assumably around at least 9 feet. To make it worse he's got some sort of Devil Fruit or something. We can't make it out too clearly, but you can see here his bottom half materializes into some sort of flurry or something." The other Marine called over as an aid nodded as did Hanbei, barely tall enough to see series of photos the detective was showing the other Marine. He caught enough glimpses to get an idea of what the guy looked like though. "I see, so at least we have a keen idea on who the guy is right?" They both looked at Hanbei for a moment, hesitant to agree with him given how he didn't seem to be taking the situation serious before. "That's true but Water 7 is huge and he can be hiding anywhere." "He got away with 2,000,000 Beli as well. There is a high probability he may be on his way off the island." Hanbei nodded as the three thought in silence for a moment. "Then why don't you go look around town for the circus and get the snow cones and I'll go to the docks and look for our guy?" Hanbei looked at the other Marine, he could talk to him in such a manner because they were both Ensigns, it was just that he was trying to outshine Hanbei.

Both the detective and the other Ensign looking at the old man practically side-ways he returned their gaze with a serious stone like expression. "Suit yourself . . . I'm going to the docks." With that, Hanbei took a single photo out of the detectives hands with a smile then departed. The photo was held in between the pinky and ring finger of the hand holding the tea which he'd finish then dispose of before leaving the bank.

His right hand now solely holding the picture while his left held his cane that he used to walk to the docks, more so the tourist area where all the Water 7 branded shops were, he'd start his investigation there. Water 7 being a town who's economy boomed off trade and ship building, the docks were extremely big and long, there were also a few more abandoned shipyards than your typical island would have. That was kind of irrelevant though, what was relevant was that Hanbei had arrived in the tourist district only to see it was much more busy than normal. Well maybe not busy, but bustling with more activity than usual. Hanbei would arrive and take a seat on a bench that was a ways away from the pool of traffic. To his back was an old abandoned shipyard and his target happened to be right around the corner, like literally right there. So to Hanbei's right were the ships and the ocean, the pier, boardwalk, and where some five guys' Hanbei hadn't noticed ventured off to. In front of him was a display of human bumper cars. He understood it was crowded, but something seemed odd, people were just constantly bumping into each other more than usual. Observing the crowd's activity more closely he noticed that there were thieves amongst the masses. Like honestly it wouldn't be that hard to notice a guy touching someone else's body then moving his hands to his own pockets. At least if you were a bystander.

What was truly crazy was the sheer number of pickpockets. Some fishy fuckery was afoot and Hanbei was about to get to the bottom of it. Standing up from the bench, the crowd of licks that'd make a kleptomaniac cream their pants only a meter away from Hanbei, he stopped in his tracks. "Wait . . . I'm not here for that." He ignored the thievery, but was sure to not enter the zest pool of it all as he walked towards his right to the docks. He figured he'd ask some people if they'd seen the guy he had a picture of and at least get a hint as to where he was. Not wearing anything that'd paint him a marine, no logos, silly hats, etc, he was just wearing his samurai like garbs. He didn't have a reputation as a Marine either, so he was pretty incognito as far as his identity went.

When he'd walk to his right towards the docks and pass the end of the wall of the old shipyard, he'd sneeze. His eyes being forced shut as he did so, but he'd continue to walk, his cane helping him along the way. This made him not see the titan of a man that would have been seen in his peripherals. Continuing to walk forward he saw a some totally not suspicious looking guys. Their pockets seemed uncomfortably fat, probably from all the stealing they did, but Hanbei wouldn't pay any mind to it. "Hey excuse me young fella. Could I interest you in a purse!" Hanbei would start laughing in a sort of obnoxious manner at his joke. "You get it, because you have a lot of stuff in your pockets." He would smile at the guy he was talking to, slightly teary eyed, but he'd get on with what he was talking to the guy for. Of course the whole time he was doing so he'd be alert, he was still on duty and couldn't afford to just joke around. Regardless if the man took kind to his joke or even gave Hanbei his attention, Hanbei would persistently try to get the guy's attention by extending the picture out so he could see it. Should the picture get his attention, this guy being one of Jack's henchmen, Hanbei would inquire. "Have you seen this man around here anywhere?"

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought

Pick Pocketing, and a Ship{Open} Maxresdefault

It was such a beautiful day the birds were chirping, and grunts pockets were fat! I mean what more can you ask for? Well in Jack case he had demanded a little attention for his excitement hopefully he could handle it. Maybe he couldn't only time will tell the outcome but one thing for sure is that he wasn't going down with a fight.

Within range ! You probably wondering of what? Well it is was rather simple you see the old geezer had forcefully inserted himself within Jack The Drought pick pocketing operation. It was true the old geezer had met the requirements of the operation as far as eye can tell but what he did wrong was casually made his intention known off the rip.

One thing for sure is that the old geezer wasn't a first timer in this rodeo he purposely avoid the zest pool of thievery only to introduce himself purposely to a grunt. Despite his fragile apperance he seems to have agenda it could be equally important as Jack ambitions whatever those may be as of now. The old geezer spoke in a loud tone enough for several people near him to hear ,"Hey excuse me young fella. Could I interest you in a purse!" At first the grunted didn't know if he was made or if it was a joke. But was he reassured shortly after the old geezer erupted into obnoxious laughter at what the old man consider a joke. The grunt had giggle in relief as he scratch his head to the old geezer it would be just a simple scratching motion but for the grunt this was to alerted his allies that he was attempting a lick on this fella soon. It was always good to keep your allies aware of the situation you was near because anything could happen out on these streets.

But strangely the situation went form positive to negative it seems the old geezer was looking for someone, and shoving a picture in the pirates face. The old geezer follow with his question as he spoke the grunted had closely examined the picture as he rub his chin carefully then stop. Like before the rubbing of this man beard was a signals to his allies it service as a purpose along the lines as this old geezer was suspicious let everyone know.

It didn't take long for majority of pick pocketing operation to know that something was amidst which in return they had signal there boss who was Jack. Jack had replied in an triumphant cracking of knuckles which ultimately alerted his troops to prepare for battle. In return they had pointed in the direction to the old geezer who was looking for him Jack had unfolded his arms to stand up fully just as he did his grunt had point in the direction of Jack for the old geezer to see. He said ,"He is right over there sir." In the time he rub, and examine the picture he had brought some time for the rest of the allies to be properly alerted. It didn't take long to alert Jack after all he was just a few meters away from the two. Jack was aware of his surroundings as well so surprise attack wasn't possible at less you attack from above.

You Know I Got the Pole On Me

The man was doing a few gestures, all which seemed normal to Hanbei. Not like he was paying much attention to them anyways. If the man had fleas it was of no concern to Hanbei as long as he kept his hands to himself. What was important was that the guy he was talking to would point to say that Jack was in a direction over Hanbei's right shoulder. Hanbei didn't want to be obvious with observing the man if it did happen to be him, so he'd be covert and use his observation haki to do so. Acting as if h e saw something interesting beyond the guy he was talking to by leaning a bit to his left and tilting his head over to see beyond the fellow, his Haki would greedily take in all that was within 50m of Hanbei. In his mind's eye it was just a myriad of flaming people walking around, but one aura stood out amongst them all. It was probably because Jack was stronger than everyone else that Hanbei felt his flame burned a bit more vigorously than everyone else's. While Hanebi could sense him, he'd still have to use his eyes to confirm whether it was him or not.

It was now or never. From a squinted expression looking beyond the guy he was talking to, he'd turn his head and look over his right shoulder. "Oh my . . . that certainly is him." Hanbei would look back at the guy he was talking to, his Haki still in effect so even if he was attacked from behind he'd be aware. A few meters specified to five meters, Hanbei would give a slight bow of his head to the gentleman who had helped him. "Thank you youngster, your parents did a good job of raising you." With that he'd turn over his right shoulder and nonchalantly begin walking over to Jack Snow. He was nearly twice Hanbei's height, but was certainly more than twice his weight. There were no people walking in front of Jack. Most of the tourist were coming from far over to Hanbei's right where all the pickpocketing was going down. To his left were just abandoned shipyards, the last one in the row being the one Jack was leaning upon. This meant that people really had no reason to go that way nor come from over there. Hanbei took note of this and purposely approached Jack, still in a casual walk with his katana cane, on Jack's own left side, still not entering the pool of thieves. Careful to not walk into any of the man's extremities, Hanbei would stop about 2m away from the man, again on his left side.

"You didn't happen to rob a bank the other day did you?" Hanbei would extend his right hand that still had the picture of Jack out towards the man to take and look at.

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought

Pick Pocketing, and a Ship{Open} Maxresdefault

Not many people understand Jack, and the few people who did learn to not reason with him. After he wasn't a man of logical he was a savage a creature whom doesn't belong in society. You probably wondering why would such a minkmen such as him existence well it's borderline reasonable. Because where there's good there is evil you know right the yin, and yang.

The one thing the grunts learn amongst many other things is that once Jack fought the chances of stopping him is small. Which is why they had devised a plan to insure there boss was not force into that predicted. How? Well it's rather simple you see all they need was a reason to start a large panic which could push the tourist to Jack location. The method was a rather simply one majority of the grunts had either a flintlock or knife tuck safety into there clothes after all they were pick pocketing so they are bound to have people who attempted to resistance them. So Jack had made sure that each of his men carried either or of these items for protection purposes. Even though they may be forced to relocated it was better then to allow there boss identity begin confirm after all he was the face of this operation. In a timely manner between the time the old geezer had activate his Kenbunshoku Haki, and glance back at Jack a distinctive discharge ring into the air that can only be classified as a flintlock going off. The sound , and the images of one of Jack grunts holding a flintlock had cause the tourist to panic fleeing in the opposite direction of the grunt which was the docks.

Unfortunately the old geezer was to busy focusing on Jack using his Kenbunshoku Haki to exactly know what was going on. Each of Jack henchmen had pull out either a knife or Flintlock attempting to direct the flow of tourists to old geezers direction. If successful majority of the crowd would stampede through the docks of Water 7 in the direction of Jack, and the old geezer of course Jack would be fine but the old geezer maybe not so much. Yes of course if the old geezer was fast enough he could carefully escape the hundreds of people who attempted to ran him over. If the old geezers attempt to head in the general direction of Jack he was in for a rude awakening . Why? Because Jack had already know about the old geezer , and Jack intention wasn't good in fact they were that of caged animal ready to pound on the old geezer if trouble erupted.

More importantly if the old geezer turn away from the grunt in which he was talking to then it would result in the grunt delivering stab to the old geezer body. Whatever closest body part that would be beneficial to his attempts, and successful. Yes of course this would only happens if Old geezer turn away to acknowledge the flintlock that went off behind him or if the old geezer move away period. The time in which this happens is when the old geezer tilt his head back to peak at Jack. This was of course an attempt well constructed to prevent sudden things for happening yes of course after they cause the panic for the tourist they would blend into the massive crowd of people heading for old geezer position while hiding there weapons.

The panic didn't bother Jack why? It is because he is a 10 feet tall massive minkmen elephant which intangibility at his finger tips should a troubling matter happen. Depending on what the matter is he can easily blocked, or change his approach all together if necessary.

Mr. Brazy Hoe

Wow this was really something else. Hanbei knew doing his job wouldn't be easy, but it seemed fate or whatever celestial being that was out there pulling the strings really had it out for him. Maybe it meant good things would come however. Life had its ups and downs and one force of nature trying to hold Hanbei back wouldn't be enough, at least not without first gaining a bit more brainpower.

As he'd turn to look at Jack his Kenbunshoku Haki would alert him of the ill intentions the guy he was talking to had. The location he was aiming for might vaguely be said to be the body, but more specifically it was at Hanbei's heart, that being why his Haki warned him of the evil intentions the man had. Pushing off his right foot, from turning to look at Jack he'd pivot on his left foot, his whole body rotating so that the knife stab of the man would sail out in front of him into the clear space. "Looks like you missed junior." Hanbei would chuckle, the crowd of people beginning to rush the area and the man wouldn't have enough time to try at Hanbei again before the crowd would separate the two of them, Hanbei seemingly being trampled. Did they have a signal for that too? Using the strength his training with a blade had allotted him, Hanbei would be able to push the bodies of the people and not allow them to compromise his balance, so he was actually fine, but no one would be able to tell, not anyone that mattered at least. He'd move in an irregular manner though, zig-zagging almost as he'd detour to Jack. This was so even the tall man couldn't trace him in the crowd by seeing what people got shoved, Hanbei's approach would be a surprise and it'd be Jack's peon's on faults. Everyone liked surprise parties. Given dirty tactics were being employed against Hanbei, why couldn't he use them back? Maybe next time they'd get to fight one on one or just have a straight up fight and not this elusive man type stuff. You know . . . a respectable squabble. That was all irrelevant right now, Hanbei just hoped his plan would work and he'd get to hear Jack say something along the lines of "U sneak me" when Hanbei got him.

When it came to spotting Hanbei, Jack and his henchmen would have to have some form of perception beyond conventional means to follow Hanbei in the crowd. Given how he disappeared it'd actually be logical to think he was trampled, definitely since he crouched down and ducked as soon as the wave of people engulfed him. Everyone was bumping and shoving, but what'd you expect? People were running for their lives of course it'd be messy and chaotic. Hanbei made it even harder to track him for as he ran and boxed out those around him, he was crouched down. A few people tripped from this and his sword sheathe, but people were tripping in other places in the stampede as well from all the bumping and shoving too. He wasn't in the front of the pack or the back or directly on the right end or left end, but he was one row away from the row closest to Jack. This was only for a moment though, for he was steady moving and didn't stay in a single row or column if this maelstrom of bodies could be organized in such a way, for more than a second. Even with the man's stature, with the concentration of people, height of people, Hanbei being crouched down and short, people their swinging arms, the list went on, Hanbei would be incredibly hard to perceive and even should he be seen, it'd only be for a moment before he disappeared again.

Oh also, Jack being an elephant Minkman had hearing better than humans, they were able to hear faint sounds that even humans had trouble picking up on. All the shouting and screaming would be working wonders on those ears of his.

With the crowd, it wouldn't stop moving. What idiots would stop when about fifty people with guns and knives began coming at them? It was mob mentality, if you weren't in the forefront, for the most part you were safe, so just keeping running and you'd be ok. If you were in the forefront closest to the assailants you had better haul ass and make that change. Remember you're not trying to outrun them, but you're trying to outrun everyone else that's running ; ).  Anyways, should anyone in the crowd have ill will for him, he'd be tipped off by his Observation Haki. That was unlikely though, for those who would have ill will should at least be at the butt end of the stampede since they were herding people to run in this specific direction. So they'd be the caboose of the stampede and that's not where Hanbei would be in any instance. With his speed, he'd clear the small distance between him and Jack (5m) before the grunts would have time to encounter Hanbei. The geezer wouldn't directly assault the man though. That'd risk him getting caught up in the storm of pickpockets and he might get mugged. Who cares about getting stabbed or shot right? Just keep a grip on your pesos.

Once the distance was cleared, Hanbei not running straight to Jack, but zig-zagging, crouching, blah blah blah, all that stuff already said, he'd make a sharp turn to his left to follow the direction the crowd was fleeing. As he did this, he'd unleash his attack, but while staying down low and super sneaky like. Unsheathing his sword and striking all in one fluid motion, Hanbei would have switched his sheath to his right hand and drew his weapon with his left. The slash would be slightly diagonal and done when Hanbei was at the forefront of the side of fleeing pedestrians that was closest to Jack. This positioning on the edge of the stampede only maintained for the instance the Hanbei would be attacking Jack. This also meant no pedestrians would get caught in the attack and accidentally get their legs lopped off. Hanbei's attack would have an angle that would allow for him to reach out and cleave through both of Jack's tusk and trunk if he got hit. The tusk would fall right to the ground as would the trunk, neither of which would be able to return to their formal glory. Neither of which would get in Hanbei's way or harm him as he was aware of and cautious of Jack's extremities. Additionally, when he slashed a compact disc of flames would be released. The nature of these flames allowing them to actually have the capacity to strike like a blunt object. While it wouldn't cause much blunt damage, maybe bruise Jack if he got hit, they had the potential sear down to the bones of his rib cage should he get hit. Just a thin three inch thick disc that was as wide as Jack's torso. Hanbei could have done more damage, but he wasn't looking to kill the man, just capture him. As things were now, he wouldn't be able to do that, so he'd try to leave the man with something to remember Hanbei by. The slash done while Hanbei was still facing Jack, it would have lived long enough to complete its goal and no longer. Hanbei would immediately stop the flow of movement and flames and turn to his left to follow the direction of the crowd. Isolating and basically locking his left arm that held the sword in place would keep the sword in the same position, so held out to his right side harmlessly. There it still wouldn't be able to cut any pedestrians. Sheathing it immediately, he'd begin to slip into the heart of the crowd and eventually break away to the front and beyond them since he was far faster than anyone else in the crowd. Should he succeed in cutting Jack he'd shout as loud as he could once a healthy distance away. "Hattori Hanzo has returned!"

When Mithos speaks of Ill Intention thats solely the ability haki has which is stated clear as day in the Haki System which gives haki users the ability to sense emotions and decipher if they are "happy, sad, violent" Ill intention is very malicious so there you go on that front.

For the sensing bit Crow, I already explained to you how it works. Given it was a "Sneak" attack. It can be said that his other senses wouldn't pick up on the attack given the word "sneak" which implies he was moving to get an advantage on a target who wouldn't see nor hear him coming through logical means. That is what alerted Poncho. Think of how Spiderman spidey senses work. He can tell he is in danger but not actually know from what. Poncho was able to tell your goon was behind him thus giving him the ability to react accordingly. Nowwww im out.

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought

Pick Pocketing, and a Ship{Open} Maxresdefault

A deadman tells no tale why? Because he's already dead. What that have to do with this situation is absolutely nothing it was just a quote that ring through Jack mind as his trained of thought was interrupted by a yell from a grunt just a few meters away. The yell was distinct enough for Jack keen sense of hearing to make it out just seconds before the panicking crowd separate both individuals. It was a simple sentence which stated,[b,]"He is coming I miss!"[/b] There was something else the grunted had got off as the crowd finally separate the old geezer, and him. It was along the lines of ,"Blah blah blah!" Unfortunately due to loud screams of the stampeding crowd his voice would go unheard well not unheard but more like his distinctive voice was drowned out by his environment. His environment ?Well of course !Do you remember the distinctive sounds panicking crowd can make? Well of course you do! They are practically common as far as the stomping of the feet, yelling, screaming, and falling of the people body I guess you can say a real hooter.

How did old geezer successful perceive the grunt attempt on his life?Well he had his trusty old spidey sense well not really he just had plain old Kenbunshoku Haki. Not that Jack knew about that more importantly Kenbunshoku Haki grants the user with a sixth sense of the world around them and increased perception abilities. It increases there abilities to perceive attacks and allows them to detect life forms. While it may allow the user to detect, and be aware of threats it acts as a dodge edge sword. How? Well that's rather simple you see to use this ability your brain capacity must be able to handled to large numbers in which your environment have.

I guess you can say in order to use this ability successful you must be use to using it in large groups. Now moving on who can tell me the dangers of panicking crowd? Me! The dangers are the following getting hit, tackle, tripped, trample, and etc. The fact the old geezer was now zig-zagging through the crowd he would be face with ill intentions. For what? Well that's rather simple the natural crowd the attempts they made were common you remember right? Getting tripped, tackle, trample, and etc. Yes of course these attempts wasn't on purpose it was natural patterns form fleeing people who was running for there natural born life. These ill intentions attempt trigger the old geezer Kenbunshoku Haki as he attempt to maneuver within the crowd. I guess you can say these mentally strains was added to the old geezer plate which was about to get a whole lot worst.

More importantly Jack was fed up with this situation period the blasted crowd had pissed of Jack The Drought, and he was now about to reward them with there consolation prize for all there hard work. In one fluid motion Jack had released a cold breeze at the same time he thrust out his hands, and release a tidal wave of snow from both his hands simultaneously as he released his icy breath. The direction of his wave of snow was none other then old geezer general direction coincidentally placing the old geezer in the middle of the snowy waves crashing power. But wait there is more due to the natural panicking crowd the noise produce from the wave wasn't heard, not to mention the Kenbunshoku Haki did alert him but he have been alerted the entire time due to traveling through a panicking crowd which was dangerous period.

All these actions were attempts were released as the old geezer closed his distance to Jack more specific when he was zig-zagging . Jack wasn't worried about the old geezer he was worried about these damn people whom seems to pissed him the fuck off. Kinda like added precaution should something dangerous incur Jack intangibility was activate just in case prior to the grunt waring. It didn't take long for these attempts to happen since they were only a short distance away 5 meters. As for gun holding knife stabbing grunt army they begin to close the distance between them, and old geezer carefully.
The other grunt was swept away somewhere in the crowd not to far from Jack location himself.

Mr. Brazy Hoe

Despite it looking like Hanbei was trampled by the wave of people the man he was talking to yelled out to his boss that Hanbei was coming his way. How would he know such a thing? Maybe he was just taking a precaution, but it didn't really matter, it was good he had those communication skills. Hanbei didn't want his takedown on the behemoth to be called a sneak attack, he wanted to be able to relish in his victory without having to hear excuses should he come out of this thing on top. Hanbei would sustain a pocket of space within the crowd by using his arms to box out those around him. This would mean people wouldn't be able to get close enough to accidentally trip him and stuff like that. It should also be said that contrary to what was said, Hanbei wouldn't have any issues with his Haki giving him too much to process or sending him constant warning signals. No one was intentionally trying to trip him or hit him and none of the peons had caught up to him, so no one was stabbing at or shooting him. This meant his mind would be clear and his Haki would be able to warn him when the real threat came. That would come when Hanbei was still 5m away from Jack, albeit int he crowd a bit. This put Hanbei on the better side of the distance scale when it came to having time to react before getting hit. "Hm?"

Now, since a real threat to his well being had been released, Hanbei's Haki would notify him of his impending doom should he not move. Push coming to shove, he figured he wouldn't be able to save people if he was caught up in the incoming attack, so he'd have to throw his weight and strength around a bit. That wave of snow that had actual body and density to cause immediate damage was 5m in width coincidentally was centered on Hanbei's positioning. Hanbei wasn't aware of this, but this put 2.5m of snow to his left and 2.5m of snow to his right. This was with Hanbei facing Jack of course. The crowd of people running to Hanbei's left, he figured he'd go with the flow of the crowd with his movements. While he'd keep his momentum, he'd run faster than he was before when heading towards Jack. Using his strength he'd push the people in front of him and knock them over in the process. He'd take long strides as to step on them as little as possible and when he did it'd only be on butts, so damage caused wouldn't be anything serious. Once a fair distance over to the left, figured he was out of range of whatever the hell it was he supposed to be dodging, at least he hoped.

Jumping both upwards and to his left to make diagonal movement, his jump would move him 2m to his left and 2m high up, luckily sailing over the heads of those who were in his general area. His feet pulled up to ensure he didn't graze any scalps, he'd have the space to execute this jump because he was sustaining a box of space around him in the crowd and bowled the ones in front of him over with extended arms so he could move at a fast pace. He wouldn't really register this or look to focus on it, but it should be noted that this jumping movement would place him 2m away from the closest bit of the snow wave, Hanbei having moved out of the way before the snow could hit him. He was focused on taking Jack down, especially since he started harming innocents . . . well more than Hanbei did.

As soon as he was at his peak height where a moment of stability was achieved he'd immediately move his right hand to the handle of his sword which was on his left side, the sheathe of which being gripped tight by the left hand. (switch included in my last post having not yet happened) Without pause and as fast as he could Hanbei would then draw his blade, simultaneously slashing outwards into empty space in front of him. This would trigger the emergence of one of the techniques he possessed. This technique being birthed from a myriad of sparks he created with his draw. His sword being pulled out of the sheathed and dragging against the metal that composed it may it be the lip of the sheathe the inside, whatever, that would be the medium oforf these sparks. This dragging wouldn't be done with enough pressure to dull his blade or slow down his movements however. These sparks created were immediately giving significance as they expanded to an inch in diameter and adopted a glow brighter than sparks would normally emit. Starting the moment they were brought into existence, they'd be sailing towards Jack's body and only his body. No civilians or anything of that nature. Their flight space that was 6.7m was clear of any unaccounted for obstructions and would remain so. No extra tall civilians running by to accidentally get struck, no birds, etc. Just Jack and a portion of his snow wave, but it wouldn't stand a chance.

Should they collide with Jack, clearing this gap between him and their conjurer in two shallow seconds, he'd find even in his intangible state he was vulnerable to being burned by Hanbei's flames. The burns normally would be of the third degree, but Hanbei's flames actually naturally reigned over Jack's snow. So in this case if the guy got hit, he'd be scorched to the bone or maybe since he was snow he'd just get permanent holes melted through him. In the case that they caused burns to his bones, his clothing would also be set ablaze from the affliction and the hunger of the fireflies. Maybe Hanbei should call them locust. Not even the cold or moisture his fruit could produce would quench the flames as they were a potency greater than something he could conjure up.

The assault wouldn't be that simple though, for Hanbei too had numbers on his side. The fireflies amounted to twenty so a straight forward assault would be tasteless and a waste of their true potential. All the previous details would still be stapled meaning they wouldn't collide with some random civilian, they'd arrive in a shallow two seconds, etc. What details needed to be specified is that they'd converge upon Jack's person in a formation. This formation was actually an array or plot of fireflies in the shape of a messy looking rectangle. It wasn't perfect due tot he way the fireflies were brought about, but it was close to it and something like it. Some were ahead of the others and stuff like that. They would be in five rows with four columns, so five by four. In between each firefly was five inches of space, so the attack occupied twenty five inches length wise (horizontal) and twenty inches height wise (vertical) It would be centered on Jack's upper body including his head. While normally it might make for an easy dodge depending on the circumstances, the behemoth' own blizzard would work against him. The snow not reaching Hanbei when he was taking evasive action against Jack's snow wave, it was now beginning to reach him and clouding his vision. Luckily he had sustained his Haki, so he'd be able to aim his attacks perfectly fine. Jack however would be experiencing the effects of his blizzard during its entire duration since it stemmed from him. Meaning those fireflies probably wouldn't have a chance of being perceiving unless they burned the man's flesh.

All of Hanbei's actions would be done without a pause in between and at the fastest speed he could do them. He'd be able to launch his attack as soon as he jumped since his Observation Haki would keep him keyed in on Jack's positioning even if he moved. Even in the event Jack moved, Hanbei would still launch his attack at him, for he wasn't aiming at the location Jack was at, but at Jack.

After he attacked he'd land safely with no more people around him. Given Jack would have made a blockade with his wave of snow no more people would be able to run in Hanbei's direction. The few that did make it before the wave hit them would have cleared Hanbei's landing space and surrounding area when he was in the air. This also applied to Jack's henchmen, so Hanbei didn't have to worry about people who snuck into the crowd given they would have been at the back of the crowd. This was because they were making sure the crowd was shepherded towards Jack and Hanbei. You can't do that from within the crowd or from the front, you had to corral people from the back perimeter. Jack himself hadn't moved from his spot and would have actually sandwiched himself in between the wall he was leaning on and his snow wave. So actually dodging Hanbei's attack was even more difficult now. Even should the behemoth try to move against the wall to escape from this sandwiched position he put himself in the fireflies would easily melt through the snow from the snow wave and potentially get to him. A certain quote would ring through Hanbei's mind when he landed safely in the cleared area. "Talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place." What did this have to do with the current situation? Potentially everything.

It probably wasn't over yet, the large man still had options, but Hanbei too was just getting warmed up. "Little chilly" His eyes would be trained on Jack thanks to his Observation Haki allowing him to see even in these visually enabling conditions as he paced backwards to get out of the range of the blizzard. His body would be facing him and he'd slip his sheath securely into his sash as to free up his left hand while simultaneously stabbing his blade into the wooden deck of the docks once getting out of range.

"Jack The Cold Savage"

Jack The Drought
,"Hmph that should quite them down for a bit."Jack snort in a triumphant squeal of success. Unfortunately his mind was interrupted by the echoing of his grunts last words well as far as Jack knew these words remind him that the Old geezers was somewhere within the crowd where? He didn't have the slightest clue but everything always work out for the best right? His previous attempt was successful as far  spreading his blizzard, and introducing his snowy wave which ultimately cause many tourists to get hurt as well as cause the old geezer to follow of the panicking crowd flow. Not that he knew the old geezer change his position but he had a faint idea due to previous display of the old bat reflexes he should be able to dodge Jack snowy wave of destruction should it comes in his direction.

But battle was about taking risk unfortunately Jack wasn't in the mood for this risk taking he needed a way to wrap this up before the authorities arrive. Since the old bat location wasn't known he had to consider a different approach with the blasted crowd still panicking he needed to box them up.

Scanning to his left of the crowd the old geezer right he taken in the consideration that his small army move forward in the direction of fleeing crowd. An due to old geezer early display of successfully dodging the group, and not responding in a hostile manner I guess you can pencil that down as wanted to avoid unnecessary combat.

It's also common sense to avoid a small army of grunts with knifes, and flintlocks not that the old geezer knew that but it was common sense to move away from the panicking crowd far away from the source of the issues at hand. With that Jack had scanned the panicking crowd once more this time his right the old geezer left just in time to catch a glance of elderly guy jumping over 6 feet tall man,and a handful of  other people.

Perfect Jack had changed the direction of his right hand in the general direction of the old geezer with that a whirl of snow begin to form a large circular dome trapping a large amount of people including the grunt from earlier his name is Jamie the beard guy that attempt to impale the old geezer, and the old geezer himself was trapped within this dome. Lucky the old geezer had position himself just a few meters from the snow wave so he was well within range of the snow dome.Jamie had lick his lips in excitement as he yelled,"Grab the old geezer he have something to do with this mess!" Of course they would comply after all he did carried a weapon, and the people who chase them had weapons to as well. The couple people who escaped the initial snow wave had charge at the man attempting to tackle, grab, and or pinned down the old geezer. The amount of people present was 20 or so which was considerably decent amount for this large dome which trap them. It was perfectly logical for them to do so why? Because they were scared, and they had wanted awnsers and the old geezer may have them. Creating the dome was rather simple because it had preexisting snow left over from the blizzard, and snow wave with which was more than enough to forge this master piece.

Unfortunately for the old geezer the dome was forge just as he landed on the ground form his jump. Which was ultimately rewarding for Jack but for the old geezer his Kenbunshoku Haki alerted him of the tourist ill intentions so momentarily the old geezer was to busy to worried about a way to escape.Meanwhile outside the dome the panicking crowd had surge around the dome on both sides. As for Jack grunts they had secured a perimeter around the dome for about 2 meters or so each had orders to fire or stab at anything that emerge from the dome period. They still had there signals and a simple hand jester could alert there allies of the breach of the dome. Jack himself was rather itching to ended this conflict he just wasn't sure how he would for now he just kept his eyes on the dome for now. Keep in mind these action was time to happen before the sneaky old geezer could landed properly, and release his attack. Jack had snarled in excitement as he said
,"Today is a good day to fight!"For less confusion he had been released the control of the blizzard, and rushing snow as it reached ig maximum potential. Yes indeed Jack was getting a bit tired  you could tell a bit but he didn't want to show this side to his allies so he had decided to finish this up quickly!
