1 Makuu [Ready for Approval] on Tue Jun 21, 2016 4:52 pm

Name: Makuu
Alias/Epithet: Judge
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Mode: Hard

Occupation: Martial Artist, Marksman
Affiliation: Marine
Tier: One

General Appearance: Makuu is 6'6 and 245 lbs. He prefers to not wear a top, often wearing his Marine jacket over a bare chest, if he is even wearing it at all. He sports pants and boots as well. He has pitch black hair that he slicks back at the top, and is faded off at the sides. He is clean shaven and well maintained in terms of hygiene.
Height: 6'6
Weight: 245
Crew Tattoo Placement: N/A

Personality: Makuu is the product of a very lenient father letting him get into all sorts of trouble and an ironic sense of justice for those who cause trouble. He is extremely laid back, to the point where it often enough causes issues for him. He enjoys activities that would usually be deemed immoral by the Marines. Such activities include smoking, drinking, gambling, and fighting. There is nothing he enjoys more than a good laugh, and his sense of humor is outstanding. However laid back and relaxed he is, he understands the thin line between being care free and not caring very well. He is quick to spring into action when he judges something to be wrong, and will take whatever measures are needed to be taken in order to resolve said troubles. His sense of justice is what leads him to make any choice he takes, and has never lead him wrong. The only thing that clashes with his sense of justice is his underlying motivations to help others, regardless of their stature in the eyes of the law. Rarely, he is conflicted in what course of action to take because how he judges someone contrasts how they are seen in the eyes of fellow Marines, the public, or the law in general. His kindness that he shows to all he meets is also another conflicted personality point of his. He will display his joking and careless persona to everyone he meets, but he is known also for sheer ruthlessness and giving no mercy nor quarter to any he judges to be worthy of his wrath. The only time Makuu's scale of justice is off is distorted is in instances of him overindulging in alcohol. In his drunken stupor, his sense of deeming people innocent or guilty is flipped, twisted, and he becomes incapable of even making the simplest deductions.
Likes: Alcohol, Smoking, Joking Around, Fighting, Gambling, Fishing

Dislikes: Devil Fruit users, tables, spoons

History: At the young age of 7, Makuu took up bare knuckle boxing in his small fishing village in the East Blue. He, and all the other boys in the village, would draw circles in the sand and beat each other up until someone gave. The adults in the village didn't think much it, as long as it didn't interfere with their work. That work, naturally, was fishing. Almost everyone in his village fished for a living. Every day, the people of the village would wake up early and take to the sea, then come home to watch the young ones tire themselves out in combat. One day, Makuu was getting off his father's boat at the end of the day, and saw an unusually large gathering at the ring. He ran over to see one man in the middle of the ring, and all the others laying around him, unconscious. The man's arms were stretching to lengths that were inhuman. He knew exactly what that man was: a Devil Fruit user. Makuu approached the man and asked him politely to leave, there were no devil fruits allowed in the arena. Makuu was then flung across the shoreline by the Devil Fruit user. He got up and tried to fight the man, but was repeatedly beaten and thrown to the ground each time. Makuu's father ran to try and help the him by fighting the rubber man with his harpoon. The Devil Fruit user then turned the harpoon on his dad, impaling him. Makuu cried out fiercely and ran up to the man, throwing his fishing net over him. Makuu dragged the man to the edge of the water, and then swam as deep as he could into the sea, with the man still netted. He watched him struggle, and eventually sink. After swimming back up, he ran to his father. The village people were trying to patch him up, but it was no use, and Makuu knew it. His father's last words were that he was proud of his son. Makuu then knew at that moment what he was to do with his life. Makuu then trained for years, while working to gather up the money to make his trip. He trained day in and day out to reach his peak physical ability. He then ventured to the nearest marine HQ to enlist, and to this day, he spends his time judging those he comes into contact with.

Face Claim: Yu Yu Hakusho/Younger Toguro
