1 Natalya Dragonov [Marine] [Done] on Tue May 17, 2016 5:53 pm

Name:Natalya Dragonov
Alias/Epithet:N/A
Race:Long-Leg Tribe
Gender:Female
Age:27
Mode:Hard

Description of Modes:

Easy Mode: Easy Mode is for people who have no major interest in their characters dying. You have access to private topics, maims turn into severe bruising that inhibit the use of the damaged body part for the rest of the thread, what would normally cause deaths turn into your character simply being knocked out. However, everything isn't good for you, this also means that your character will never be able to pass Tier 3.

  • Exceptions to these Rules: Should you attack someone on Hard Mode with killing, crippling, injuring, or maiming intent OOC or IC, you lose your Easy Mode protection and may have the same done to you. May it be killed, maimed, injured, etc as long it is the same intention.

  • You cannot make private travel threads, but they can still be No Kill due to your Easy Mode Protection.

  • Also, there are also events which your character will be at risk if you choose to enter them.

  • Lastly your character can be vulnerable to death if you will it.

Hard Mode: This is for people willing to take more of a risk for more of a reward. In this mode you can reach up to T6, and there are other things available to you, like world positions. However, your character is always death enabled. A hard mode person is not allowed to make a "No Kill" thread or a Private thread. Their whole existence is open. Hard Mode is to promote a more realistic One Piece Roleplay-verse and while people are eligible to die while on Hard Mode, our aim here is not to make this a place where people meaninglessly kill. Hard Mode is introduced to promote interactive RP where people value there allies and teammates. Hard Mode is for an experience closer to Canon.

  • Exceptions to these Rules: If you are situated on your island, or your ship, you are permitted to make a private thread between you and crew members. HOWEVER, you cannot make a private travel thread on your ship, you are still at risk of invasion in those threads.

  • Protection for Private Topics on your Ship can last for a duration of 15 IC Post, afterwards the topic is Open whether you are on the ship, setting sail, etc.

Changing Modes: Changing modes is also possible if you start out a character, and realize the mode you chose does not really suit you. Unfortunately, to prevent people making the first choice without thought, or using easy mode to their advantage getting as high as they can with Easy Mode, and jumping to Hard Mode, there are penalties to both sides changing modes.

  • Easy Mode Penalties: If you're on Easy Mode, and you change to hard mode, you are bumped down an entire tier, and will have to build your way back up. Anything spent on something you cannot have anymore because of tier problems, (You were T3 with a T3 only sword, and you've been knocked down to T2), will be refunded.
  • Hard Mode Penalties: If you choose to jump to Easy Mode, you get everything taken from you that is Hard Mode only, and a tier down.

Finally, there is only one difficulty change someone can go through ever. There will be no chance to buy/trade/sell/casino a difficulty change if you decide you want to change back, ever. So make all of your choices carefully.

Occupation:BlackSmith
Affiliation:Marine
Tier:1

Would put an appearance pic but forumotion likes to disable my ass.

General Appearance:Natalya sports a red knotted style that is well done and goes all the way almost down past her hips. Her outfit appears like a normal business suit that is slightly unbuttoned at the top, with a black overcoat top and a white dress undershirt that is buttoned at the lower half. Combined with black dress styled form fitting pants. She really looks like a generic official business woman type of agent. However in reality, this entire outfit is actually a combat uniform that allows her to execute acrobatic or complex movements with ease, and does not wear or tear with them. She can be seen wearing gloves as well due to not wanting to get her hands dirty when she kills, and yellow tinted glasses. She can get rather tall however due to the height her Long Legs grant her. Making her about 10 FT in height.

Height:10 FT [Legs are 4 FT by themselves]
Weight:190LBS
Crew Tattoo Placement:Front Chest

Personality:Natalya to put it simply is....Disgusted by most people, originally someone who wanted to do good in the world. She progressively got tired of everyone's shit. She thinks people are too entitled in the world and never set out to take what's theirs, and that those who do tend to be nothing more than weaklings riding on blind ambitions. She prefers the illegal side of things over the legal due to how much more convenient it is, not like a little shady business killed someone b4 right? Right?

She talks in a rather blunt manner, and is never afraid to say what's on her mind to people, even if they are close to her as well. As Natalya finds unnecessarily hiding things from her comrades or to whoever she meets stupid. If someone is genuinely fucking stupid, why shouldn't they be called stupid? The Long-Leg is not one to stand for bullshit either, she's very strict and too the point when it comes to business and matters of the like. Everything has to be a certain way and going the right way, as she can be a little paranoid over the slightest mistakes. Often called a bit of a Tight-Ass by her associates.

Off the Job though and when she's not in any underworld or shady dealings of any kind, Natalaya can be very lax, little friendly as well if you get on her good side. Though as previously stated, most people are just dull and boring to her. Unless you actually stand out in some specific way she just won't speak to you. After all Joe Schmoe isn't exactly out of the ordinary, she's all about having a good time when the woman doesn't have to worry about money, or deals, or anything of that sort. In a sense she lives a double life in all honesty.

As a Marine, she barely cares for her duty in all honesty and will only preform the bare minimum in order to keep her act up and fully conceal her true self from the rest of the marines. Going here and there to please the higher ups and walk around with a stick up her ass as she puts it. Whoever she has to knock down to keep her position, she will knock them the hell down alright.

Natalaya can be very analytical of whatever is presented in front of her. Always coming up with a Plan A-Z on how to get it done, this is because she always like to have some form of backup in case her initial ideas or plans fail in the first place. You can never be too careful about whatever you do in her book. Especially when your standing on rather thin ice.

In recent years Natalya has developed a penchant for killing....It's hard to explain, and a side of her that rarely comes out but she enjoys the thrill of a fight. The thrill of someone struggling and attempting to cling onto their life only to be shut down hard by her and her only. At times she may activley seek someone out, however in her opinion there are enough pieces of shit in the world that give her an excuse to end as it is. Not being a real fan of capturing criminals "alive".

History:

Natalya was only a normal girl born in an abnormal world. Originating in South Blue Baterilla, she was raised to be a marine from the Get-Go. So as a kid she was rather kind to others. Coming from a rather well brought up and decently wealthy family, she had a good life to be honest and everything was arranged for her to be a model marine. To be the marine in her family that the others were not. As her parents were merely business people who had their own company you see. As she began to age, going into her teenage years, the very idea of justice was constantly smacked into her head. At first she began to go with it, thinking "oh yeah this is good for me", that it was her duty to serve the marines and help keep the peace in the world.

However... It started to get to her upon hitting the age of 20. She wanted to feel.....Free in the world, but she wasn't exactly going to become a pirate, she couldn't afford the decision either. Eventually she started to "break bad", doing a few little shady dealings here and there for some extra cash instead of having enlisted in the marines. Along the way she eventually met a guy named Asher and did a few runs with him. Things were going alright, but the duo eventually split ways. Both pursuing their own personal interests within the world.

Natalya though....She had to keep an act up to her family, and wanted a good cover story anyway so she enlisted within the marines. Becoming a Ensign, she would stick a few years in the marines covering boring jobs and just guarding shit. It was during this time of boredom she developed a penchant for killing and would hide the bodies. Due to the surplus of minor criminals though, Natalya managed to get away with "she had to kill them" as the excuse every time she was questioned on why they were never brought in alive. Questioned for her cruel yet effective methods, she managed to get out scot free for the past couple of years.

Now she has migrated to North Blue, curious about a new place to hit and establish herself, also of her old associate Asher, who she has heard became a "legit person" and works for the world government.
