Name: Contract #1
Tier: 2
NPC or PC: NPC
Location: South Blue: Karate Island
Crew, Team, or Personal: Personal
Description: It seems that a Pirate crew docked on Karate Island appears to have a snitch among its ranks. The captain has hired you to deal with the snitch without alerting the other members of his crew to his involvement; thinking it would be easier to deal with the unfaithful crew mate this way compared to attempting to prove to the rest of the crew. The Captain has stated that the guilty party will be wearing a new hat with a feather, given to the snitch under the guise of a present. Eldritch is to only dispose of this one indivial from the crew and not to harm any others. If this occurs, no payment will be granted upon completion of the kill. If the contract goes off without a hitch, payment will be delivered via courier and the Captain will spread your name to a few of his contacts; possibly giving you much more work in the future.
Enemy Details: x30 T1 Pirates (One of these Pirates will be the target)
Boss: N/A

Night was quickly approaching and so far Eldritch still hadn't heard any word from his accomplice. Blink had gone off earlier in order to scout the area in which their contract would be taking place. Though the snitch and his crew weren't present yet, it would help the both of them if they had a general lay of the land - getting a heads up about a few quick exits would be extremely beneficial. One thing that Eldritch always attempted to avoid was being unprepared for any situation that could transpire during the course of a contract, but hopefully everything that would happen tonight would go by the book.

There was a snitch that talked a bit much and some killing that needed to be done; in all, this type of contract was extremely common. However, this would be Eldritch's first contract within South Blue. he found himself to be a bit jittery, but this wasn't because he'd be taking the life of another - no, that was something he'd already grown extremely accustomed to. What made him jittery was the fact that he wanted to make as perfect an impression as possible. First impressions meant everything in this business, and when the business is killing with explicit directions on how, when, and where the killing should be done you needed to get these things perfect in order to get a hold of that next contract. This first contract would be the start of big things, and hopefully those "big things" would end up as positives instead of negatives.

Blink scouted out the area, at Eldritch's request. He had to admit, this wasn't exactly what he had in mind when Eldritch said that he would be killing alongside him. He imagined more of a large scale battle, though he supposed this worked out. This was, after all, their first job, the more gritty killing would come later. Quick as a bullet, he sped through the forest. Oh yes, he was in a small section of woods, near the shore.

He searched throughout the forest, in the forest, there were a lot of opportune hiding spots, and even more when you were only 4 inches tall. The forest wasn't very big, as it only spanned a few acres or so, maybe a bit more. What was interesting though was how there was a small flat plain in the middle of it, a great place for setting up a small camp. Likely, it would also be spotted out by the crew. With this realization, Blink had a small inward smile, if they could predict where the enemy would set up camp, they were already winning. He decided to head back to Eldritch. Once he was there, he explained the layout of the forest, and the small flatland around the middle. He also gave out a plan of his, although whether Eldritch decided to follow it was totally up to him. He informed Eldritch that it would be best to just make a distraction in the forest of some kind, and while the group was running in different directions, they could corner the snitch in one of the many nooks and crannies of the forest, and deal with him accordingly, without the other crew members. If course, one would have to make the distraction, and the other would have to do the killing of the snitch. Of course, he would not be surprised if Eldritch had something else up his sleeve and didn't need the Blink's plan.

As Eldritch waited for his partner to return, he began to make sure that all of his equipment was ready to go. With his battle suite adjusted, his dagger perfectly sheathed on his left hip, and his rifle loaded he felt more than ready to deal with the task at hand. Almost as soon as he was finished inspecting his equipment, Blink had already arrived from his scouting job and appeared to have retained a large amount of information about the area up ahead - so much so that he'd also even formulated an idea about ow they should go about dealing with the large amount of pirates that would soon turn up in a few moments for the celebration.

Blink's plan involved creating a distraction in the forest surrounding where the celebration would be held. This in turn would cause confusion amongst the pirates and cause many of them to split off into separate areas, greatly diminishing the threat the crew could potentially become if things went south. Eldritch could understand where Blink was going with this plan, and to him it seemed like a very sound plan. The only thing that appeared to be a problem is how exactly they'd get the snitch by himself during all this confusion and not lose track of him, but that was something they could deal with when the time came. The real threat to the success of their mission would be that they could do harm to no one other than the target, which meant that this mission needed to be carried out as precisely as possible.

"Sounds good. After you."

With this being Blink's plan, Eldritch felt it was only right to allow Blink to take point. Eldritch would simply follow his lead on this one.

Eldritch had accepted his plan thankfully, and seemed to be willing to let the dwarf take point. Blink wasn't planning to be the one to do the deed of actually killing the filthy snitch bitch though, he was planning on being the distraction, and letting Eldtrich's superior eyesight do the trick of tracking Snitchy McSnitcherson, while he made a distraction for the crew. He would say this much of a plan to Eldtritch as well.

"Ye can 'ave teh honuoer of culling the terget, I be 'appy wif takin' a few trees down and leadin' his crew on a merry' chase 'round the forest. Your fanci' eyesight cen do the trick well enuff of making sure our li'l snitch cannae escape us. I be ready to meet you at this here area in an hour, if you're not back, I'll assume something's gonna wrong and search through the fores' an' pull ye oot." He would say. If Eldritch agreed to this as well (which made sense for him to do,) Blink would wait for the sound of celebrations, and then go deep into the forest, trust that Eldritch was somewhere that he could keep track of McSnitch.

He would then begin making a distraction by punching a couple of rotting trees down using his natural strength, and he would keep doing this until the celebration died dow, and was replaced with sounds of people investigating. He would begin running around them, blitzing them, distraction them, as they didn't really know what was happening, it just looking like a small figure was running around them at the speed of a bullet, making them chase it all over the forest, separating them, he hoped that Eldritch would be able to take advantage of this distraction and dismantle them from the inside out, cleaning up their target well enough without issues, although he would be on guard if things went south at any point, reading to evacuate or support Eldritch if he was needed.

Blink quickly explained the rest of his plan and how they'd go about carrying it out. It appeared that his plan relied on Eldritch's eyesight. Even though at the moment he couldn't see flawlessly in low-light condition, he'd probably be able to scope out their target far quicker than Blink might have been able to do in these conditions. Eldritch agreed with everything else Blink said and how he wanted to go about the mission, so he simply nodded in Blink's direction before the Lucky Charms mascot ran off into the night, almost immediately followed by the sound of splintering cracks and booms.

It was obvious that Blink had already begun his work, so it would be up to Eldritch to make good on the opportunity he was being given. After a quick sprint through the forest, the young assassin could see a group of pirates approaching at a distance of about 170 meters.

Knowing that he was now within range of some of the pirate crew, Eldritch quickly began to scale a nearby tree - making sure to silence himself through the use of his devil fruit before doing so, just to make sure he didn't alert any of these pirates. Even though he was a fair distance away from the group, he didn't exactly want to take chances if there was another group that somehow managed to move closer to him and he wasn't aware of their presence.

Once perched within the tree, Eldritch quickly set himself up as he aimed his loaded rifle towards the crowd; his eyes scanning through the confused crowd of people as he searched for the hat that would let him know which one of these men were "the snitch".

So here he was, running around, making all of the sailors look like idiots chasing some sort of tiny blitzing figure, he was fine with this though, because of how he was running around them in circles. At times, he would torment one relentlessly, keeping just out of their grasp, making them think that they alone could catch him, and leading them away from the pack, as it were, and exposing them to Eldritch, so the Delano could see and snipe his target out.

Others would have problems with this scenario, but luckily this played right to his strengths, and his had the ability to dance around people with super speeds, faster than they could follow, not even being a 1st tier of strength in the pirate world. He would keep separating them, until a body dropped, that is, in that case he dash back to the meeting point with Eldritch.

Eldritch's eyes continued to scan the area whilst Blink continued to knock down trees and cause a commotion. The distraction that Blink was causing was far more helpful than he probably realized. Many of the Pirates had been so split up in the area that the distraction caused them all to rush into one area in order to deal with what was happening.

Despite the help it was doing, Eldritch had yet to see the target in question and he wasn't exactly sure how much longer Blink would be able to keep up his efforts. Even though it was more than likely that he could keep this going for a while longer, he wasn't sure how long these pirates would put up with the ruckus before they began to get violent. If that happened, Eldritch wasn't exactly sure they'd be able to leave this place without killing or harming a few of them - something that meant that they'd fail the contract.

Soon enough, the target in question finally showed himself as he walked out from behind a few in the crowd. He appeared to be a bit "out of it" as he stumbled around the place while attempting to make his way over to the barrels filled with rum. Eldritch could only assume the Captain had helped out in their target's condition to make things a bit easier. With his rifle still pointed in the direction of the pirate with the feathered hat, the young assassin prepared himself to pull the trigger and finally bring this contract to an end.

Blink made sure to run around even more, although after this long while of running, he was starting to get a bit more short of breath, starting to pant a little bit, although he was still running at optimal speeds, able to easily trounce these men. He saw a man that looked, well, a bit smashed, and also fit the profile for the target they needed to beat, so all he would really need to do is separate him from the rest of the pack.

Judging from his drunken state, it would be far less difficult to simply separate others from him, and leave him out in the open so as not to leave any witnesses. There were about half a dozen men nearby him, so he dealt with each of them, running slow enough that they would think they could catch him, but fast enough that they couldn't, and ran until they got lost. Finally, there was simply the final man left, and he would circle around the general area he was in, both making sure the man did not moving, and making sure that no other crew members entered his general perimeter. Today was a fun day.

While Eldritch's eyes were still trained in on his target, he began to notice that Blink also seemed to have spotted their target as well. Little by little, the dwarf had begun clearing the area in which their target was currently occupying; making sure that none of the other pirates would be able to get in the way. This would make the task of taking out the target even easier, and Eldritch would need to thank Blink for the help after all of this was finished.

With the barrel of his rifle still trained in the direction of their target, the young assassin prepared himself to pull the trigger. He was currently planning on hitting their target in the head, something that would likely kill his target instantly. With his devil fruit in effect, the other pirates wouldn't hear the gunshot go off when it finally did, meaning that once the target was down Blink would also be able to see what happened and know enough to be able to leave the area right after the hit was completed. Everything was lined up perfectly and now the only thing to do now was to pull the trigger. After a deep breath, Sorrow's trigger was met with large amount of pressure before the trigger was pulled all the way back, causing the gun to go off and the bullet to make it's way through the air and towards the intended target. With no sound at all, the bullet made impact and the body of the poor man causing him to slump almost instantly to the ground and his hat to fall the ground next to him. With the deed finally done, it was now time to leave. Blink had been able to see the effects of the bullet on the target, so he was more than aware enough that it was time to leave as well. With Eldritch vacating his spot within the tree and Blink soon following along, the two made a hasty exit - their next stop being to meet the Pirate Captain in order to be compensated for their work tonight.
