Vayra D. Lev
Chariot had made herself a name by taking almost any weird task in the town, which made it no surprise that an elderly woman approached her with her problem. Sitting down and sharing some meat buns the two discussed the work ahead. Apparently the woman had a problem with her shop, a clothing store to be exact. At first Chariot was unsure if the task was not better taken by a specialist, but the woman justified her choice by saying that a wolf would be the best choice when it came to hunting the raccoons in her basement. To avoid any unnecessary discussion about the Mink's race or more Chariot just agreed and therefore soon found herself at the shop the two had talked about.

Taking out a pack of raccoons was clearly a first for her, she usually had to deal with bigger animals. Thinking about it she actually had to deal with far too many animals since starting her journey and every time it was some kind of fight. All because of the stupid eat or beat eaten rule of the universe! She clearly had no intention of eating any raccoon, even if the old woman thought that would be the natural course.

Instead of Wolf Wing she picked a broom as her weapon of choice before climbing down the stairs to the basement. She expected that to be enough. Little did she know that as soon as she entered the first fur ball jumped at her and started scratching at her face. With a loud groan she took it at his tail and threw its straight on the ground, before giving it a heavy swing with the broom that sent it flying against a wall. Yelling out a loud “Seriously?!” into the basement.

All she saw around her were old furniture, a weaving tool and lots, lots of storage containers. Her gaze shifted through the room in the search for more of the little beasts. If they behaved well enough she did not need to be as harsh with them. Especially if they did not plan to assault her again, but the beasts had other plans, swiftly they sneaked out under an old desk and bit her paws, before disappearing into the back of the room. Again she questioned why she had not bought shoes yet, even more she questioned why she did not just shock the little critters with Electro. Mink were actually able to coat their fur in electricity, yet Chariot hardly used that ability, apparently because she was too stupid to think of it! Getting ready for the next attack she began to charge while pushing boxes aside with the broom, still unable to spot even a tail.

Then two unlucky raccoons decided to jump her from behind, attacking the Mink's tail and instantly falling over from the shock. It might not have been much against a human, but against the small creatures it was just enough. Chariot smiled and waved her tail a little, maybe it attracted more attacks. It was almost like fishing. Teasingly she let her tail slide under some of the big old cupboards, just to hear a little wince a few times. Each time she just shoved the broom under the cupboard and swept the sleeping raccoons out.

Soon she had swept together a nice little collection. Seven in total, but she still suspected some more to hide, since she did not spot the two paw attackers in her pile. Some might say that all raccoons looked the same, but that was just racist! Chariot looked forward to finding those little devils, since she did not just want to shock them a little, they deserved a heavy smack with the broom.

Lifting boxes around she quietly kept searching, occasionally looking back at the empty box in which she had placed the already knocked out raccoons, till she finally found one animal cowering in a corner. It made her almost sad to look at it, as it was sitting there scared and shaking. It was almost cute. Chariot stretched her hand out to pet it, but at that moment it jumped forward and tried to bite her hand, just to shake and fall over like all the other raccoons before her. “Yeah you thought I was that stupid?”

Smiling she lifted the raccoon up and threw it into the box with the others. If she wanted there were plenty of sleeping fur balls to pet, but not one matched her own fur, so why would she? Either way the two earlier attackers were still on the run and Chariot did not feel happy about her haul unless these two suffered at least a few hits from the broom. Eager she finished moving anything that could provide a spot to hide, till she noticed two small shadows dash into another corner. It just had to be the last raccoons! Quickly she leaped across the room and swung the broom wide smacking both of the opponent's with the broom head, before pushing them against the corners wall. “You always meet twice, they say.” Grinning she stretched her hand towards the two, electricity sparking between her fur.

The elderly shop owner came by to look at her work a bit later. Meanwhile Chariot had already moved everything to where it was supposed to be and was waiting on top of a big wooden box. She explained that it was smart to set them free far away and again had to explain to the woman that she had no interest in eating any of them.
