[b]Skill Set Information:[/b] The Toujuken-Ryu[Flying Beast Blade Style] is a self-made sword art developed by Seiju when he was a young man. It is a style of swordsmanship that focuses on a combination of [b]patience, fluidity, and relentless combination attacks[/b]. A practitioner can be expected to initiate combat stationary or with slow movements. The opening premise is to [b]patiently[/b] receive and accept an attack, then redirect or mitigate its force with [b]fluid[/b] motions before countering with a [b]relentless[/b] series of fast strikes. The style specializes in two specific physical capabilities, extreme acceleration and sharp reflexes, in order to make its core principles viable in battle. Beyond these basics, the more advanced skills focus almost exclusively on the use of vacuum blades and knowledge of the human body in order to disable foes from a distance without taking their lies. The stronger skills of the style use manipulation over vacuum blades to produce beast-like shapes with limited maneuverability. High level practitioners exhibit a lightning aura in some skills and the presence of a wild beast.

[i]Extreme Acceleration[/i] ~ Once per post, the user can instantly accelerate to their maximum speed from a complete stand still. This only lasts an instant and can only affect one action(Drawing a blade, taking ONE step, throwing a SINGLE punch, etc.)

[i]Sharp Reflexes[/i] ~ Assuming the practitioner is aware of an incoming threat, they are capable of reacting to it in some way no matter how short of a window there is to move. This does not grant the speed to dodge or block any attack, nor does it grant the foresight to predict one. Catching the user unawares negates the use of this passive. However, it does allow the user to make subtle last minute movements to mitigate damage by a minor degree. What would be a deep cut could potentially be reduced to a moderately deep wound instead, assuming of course the swordsman his room to move and is physically capable of doing so.

[b]Skill Set Information:[/b] The Houshi Houshi no Mi is a logia which turns the eater into a "Spore Human" capable of turning into and manipulating fungus. The fruit is capable of producing various types of fungi through the use of skills, however the general default fungal form their body takes is spores. When damaged, the user's wound becomes of wispy white spore cloud. The user of this fruit can generate Mushrooms or Mycelium. Mycelium makes up the majority of a fungus' body and is a vast network of molecular strands woven together.
[b]Passive:[/b]
[i]Propagation[/i] - A unique feature of the Houshi Houshi no Mi's powers is the ability to propagate and spread fungi at a fast rate. This passive allows the user to produce skills from fungi around the battlefield even if they are not in direct contact with it. Natural pre-existing fungi can't be used with this passive, but any fungi produced by the user can.

[i]Nature's Internet[/i] - All mycelium strands produced that the user is in contact with act like a communication's network. They transfer nutrients and water as well as information. Through the use of this passive, the user can listen in on distant conversations or sense the movements of opponents whom tread on surfaces which contains the mycelium without using sight.

[*]Medicinal properties of mushrooms make this fruit useful against most debilitation powers such as poisons and bacterial diseases.
[*]Spreads area of influence quickly.
[*]Versatile options granted by the ability to grow different types of fungi.

[*]Fire can burn away spores before they can germinate and it is also very effective at burning mushrooms to a crisp eliminating their effectiveness. (Fire/Heat DFs deal double damage and skills clash against them at 1 tier less.)
[*]Ice, like fire, can be used to freeze over the spores and mushrooms rendering them useless until thawed. (Ice DFs affect the user and skills as though their own skills were 1 tier higher.)
[*]Wind based powers can blow the spores away crippling the fruit's ability to spread fungi where the user desires.
[*]Dry environments such as a desert or a sandy beach will prevent fungi from spreading. Ranges are reduced by half and the user suffers a 25% stamina loss for every three posts they go without water. If stamina is reduced below 0% in this manner, the user will die. (Sand DF with the ability to absorb moisture from victims will dry out and kill the user twice as fast.)
[*]Cutting the mushrooms from their roots before they spread spores renders them incapable of doing so.
[*]It takes time for mushrooms to reach maturity and produce spores. All skills that produce spores have a 1 post or more charge time before spores can be released.
[*]Growth ranges for mycelium are reduced by half when traversing inorganic surfaces other than soil or water.

First found after the near massacre of her kind by the hands of mercenaries and hunters, Scylla was saved by a woman who really had no particular interest in the beast, but was attracted to Scylla's egg. Scylla was hatched after the woman accidentally set fire to her home and forced the dragon to appear, given the required heat. Afterwards Scylla appeared before her master and became absolutely obedient to her. The woman, an old yet tough warrior, proved to be an ideal mother to the hard-to-managed beast, showing the dragon love and compassion whenever she behaved and performed well, and scolding her when she behaved wrongly. Despite the fact that by three years, Scylla was larger than a common house, she was still obedient to her master, who proved to be the first person Scylla allowed to mount. For the next twenty years, master and dragon rode free throughout the seas and skies, enjoy a life of merriment and fulfillment, yet everything has it's price. After boding so strongly with her master, it seemed impossible that humanity's chromatic flaw felt so bitterly. Hence, without much prior notice, the woman died with her loyal dragon standing next to her during her last hours. Her master's death prove to be Scylla's greatest tragedy. In her sorrow, the majestic beast turned savage, pillaging towns and pillages as a way to compensate for her loss. Furthermore, after amassing a rather large amount of wealth, the dragon claimed a grand, hollowed mountain as her domain, where she fled and hide for hundreds of years. Marines and Pirates alike tried to claim the dragon as their pet, but Scylla refused to grant them pass and in most cases ended up chowing them, despite her old master's teachings about respecting life. Thus, it was in that lonely mountain that Scylla resided until a brave spirit came to rise to her challenge.

She then crashes into a target with great force using her talons to crush whatever is beneath them. This can be used to shatter bones or deal heavy damage to a commonly sized ship.

Character Progression Notes:
Seiju began his IC journey as a washed up drunk who had completely lost his way in life after years of an uneventful and pointless retirement. Upon meeting a pair of young men with talent, Seiju's warrior spirit was sparked once again. First by a violent spar with a young marine named Alphie and then again by the promising soldier Damocles. The latter convinced Seiju to leave Crescent Island but the old man remained a drunk and a shadow of his former self.

On the first island he stopped at with Damocles, Seiju was separated from the marine and found himself in the heart of a fishman attack. Working alongside the pirate archer Linnea, Seiju was able to fend off the fishman attacked and in the process met another young marine named Zed J. Maxwell. After the battle, Zed tracked Seiju down and roped the old man into joining him on a mission to a nearby island to investigate rumors of a monster and treasure. There, Seiju met the Sennenryu Scylla and earned her respect by defending her from Zed rediscovering his own values on human life in doing so.

Grateful, the bird helped Seiju, Zed, and company escape the collapsing mountain and among the treasure spoils they found the Spore Spore Devil Fruit. Zed offered Seiju the fruit and the position of commander valuing the old man's wisdom and ability to keep the younger marine in check. Seiju accepted the offer and consumed the Spore Spore fruit before starting his new career as a marine Commander.

Seiju still has a long way to go in terms of mastering his new powers, but he has recaptured some of his old self. Instead of a washed out drunk, he is a marine officer once more and growing as a swordsman. Struggling with his drinking problem, Seiju has been on the path to rediscovering his own virtues and values becoming more like the Seiju which earned his old epitaph with each passing day. The "Saintly Beast" is waking up from its long hibernation.
